Speaker 1 (00:01):
Wake up with Robin, Terry and Kip.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So you spoke to the Catfish's mum yesterday, Robert, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
She rang through to the studio. It was after we'd
come off the show and you left the studio so
I could speak to her personally. I don't know anything
about her, and I don't want to know anything about her.
I've called her Lisa to give her a name, okay,
And yeah, we chatted for about forty minutes, and she
was both in full line s mode about her family,

(00:31):
but also completely humiliated.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Now.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
She had said to p I Dave, our private investigator,
that she just wanted to talk to me, but everything
that comes through the studio we record. And after the
conversation with her, I went back to her and I said,
there are two things in this conversation that I think
are worth just putting out there so we can put
this whole thing to bed. And she agreed to let
me do that as long as I completely altered her voice, okay,

(00:55):
and don't identify anything about her family, because this is
a thing. She is also an innocent victim, and as
a mother who has sons who've done stupid things, I
totally understand that. I do. That's where my empathy comes from.
And the first thing she said to me was how
humiliating it's been.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I saw a free thing that Robin Balley was catfished,
So imagine men, you know, finding out that that was
my son. It's just unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
And that's kind of the level of where the conversation went.
It was truly unbelievable to her, but it ended up
with her saying that actually she's kind of grateful that
the whole thing has happened.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
If I can say anything to you, I'll say thank you.
If this is the turning point for him.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Right, So she's now going off and getting him help.
I think that actually starts today. And can I say
I want to put this side of it to bed
because I am compassionate from a mother to mother perspective,
but I'm also really angry.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
The guy lied.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
He led about his age, he lied about where he lived,
he lied about like all kinds of things. We've also
discovered that the photos that he sent both my neighbor
and myself were of someone else. So there's another innocent
victim here who has no idea that his photo's being
used in this particular situation. But the bigger question is
where he got all this information, and right now, that

(02:15):
is what we're going after. So I know, I love
and like to all those people and that family, and
I hope that that guy never does this again. But
if we get rid of the platforms under which he
found this information that he both got me and my
neighbor Bella and probably countless other people, that a lot
of other people are doing as well, and we take
care of the thing once and for all.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Can I ask you?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I mean, that's it sounds like you're being definitely being
the bigger person about it.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
But he's still a twenty seven year old man. He's
not a child. I know, he's got a man, He's
not a child.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
But he is living at home, right What does that
tell you?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But there's a lot of thirty year olds to live
at home. It's changed. But what do I do about it?
I know, I know. But are you're not angry at
him at all anymore? I am.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I am angry at him, but I'm not angry at her. No,
I'm not angry at her, And I think she was
incredibly brave to actually even come one to apologize to me.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
But I am angry at him. But you know what,
let me.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Tell you very clearly, and I've got my finger out.
No amount of activity will be as bad as the
wrath of a piece off mother. And I know that
from my own boy's perspective, and I guarantee that that's
what she's going to do. I'm really furious at him,
but I actually don't want to ever give him another thought.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Right, She's taken care of it, I hope.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So, But if we take care of the platform, it
takes care of everyone.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
That's true, because that's how And you know, we're being
very conscious of not giving any details on it.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I don't know it, so I don't slip up and
say it, but.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Because we need to find out how to get people
off it. Yes, and believe me, I think this is
going to actually blow up in a massive way. So
we need to when we give this information, make sure
we also give how you can remove yourself. But to
answer your question, yeah, I am, but I am really
annoyed at that guy, But what can I do. I'll
give him a piece of my mind. I don't need

(03:54):
to do that. I need to actually let that go,
let that family sort it out, and make sure this
never happens to any other person.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
So our next step is to try and find out
how to get this how to get your name and
other people's name, everyone's.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Name off this platform, because from what I can understand,
there are some big named people whose information is available
to the whole.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
World, Okay, at a cost. Watch This Space

Speaker 3 (04:17):
