Shall we get into it. Let's get into it, your
hot babe.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
First of all, the Golden Globel dominations are out and
some of our biggest phase we're battling it out on
jan eleven. So let's start with the movies where the
most nominations went to the Leonardo DiCaprio headlined One Battle
after Another, which got nine knoms, followed by A Sentimental
Value with eight, Sinners with seven, and Hamnet Hello and
Paulmer's Call.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
We're six A. Wicked for Good walked away with.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Four, but has been snubbed for Best Picture instead snagging
norms for Best Female Actor in Emotion Picture for Cynthia,
Best Supporting Female Actor for Ariana, and Best Original Song
for No Place Like Home and The Girl in the Bubble.
Paul Meskel is also up for Best Supporting Actor for
his role in Hamnet Now.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Onto TV and Man, We've been lucky this year.

So many good shows Battling it out for Best Drama

with Dax Shephard, Call Her Daddy Good Hang with Amy Poehler,
The Mel Robins Podcast, SmartLess, and Up First from NPR. Obviously,
if there were seven nomination spots available, Morning Team.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Would have been in there.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
The winner will be revealed on the eleventh of January,
which is all part of the build up for the.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Oscars in March.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Off to Kansas City Now, where Taylor Sweet has brought
her besties to the latest game to support her fiance,
Travis and his team took on the Houston Texans. I
feel like that team could have come up with a
better name, but that's okay, Hey, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Here to judge.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Joining her in the VIP suite were longtime powers Seleni
Gomez and Leonard Dunham not bad. Leonardo DiCaprio was also
in the sweet but not sitting with the girls and
Kendel Jenna has once again done an architectural Digest house
tour and oh my god, I think, if it's possible
to die from envy, then irip me.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
This, tumme around.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
She's done a tour of her cozy mountain hideout and look,
I have no words.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I have always kind of had this dream and vision
of like a very just exotic, kind of crazy couch
that becomes the statement in the room, and this one.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Turned out perfectly.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
A lot of the books in the house I've like
personally gone out to buy. I love finding antique shops
around town and finding cute little random things that I
grab and everything kind of has a story. So most
of the books on this table have been found locally.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
I worked very closely with Heidi.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Heidi probably thinks I'm so annoying because I feel like
I micromanage everything, especially my homes. But we had so
much fun and this house was really, i'd say, like
semi experimental for me. I wanted to kind of send
it were up.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
In the mountains.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
I felt like there were no rules when designing, and
I really wanted to kind of test my limits and
see how far we could take it.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
It's twelve minutes of interior design porn, and I'll be
watching it multiple times and crying.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Hey coming out.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
We've got a Big Brother WINNA for twenty twenty five,
and we checked to some of the recent victis.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Welcome back to you, morning Tea.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
We've got a Big Brother twenty twenty five winner, and
now Indiana came down to Coco and Emily and Coco
the single one of three from New South Wales, took
out the crown. Earlier in the week, we had the
chance to chat with two recent victis, Edward and Connor.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Now let's start with Edward, who told us who he
thinks should win.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I think Emily will win and she's very, very deserving
to win.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
But I would love Bruce to win. He's my best
mate from the house and it would be awesome. Oops.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Zero from two there, Edward and next up we've got Connor,
who had a bit of a turbulent time in the
house with fellow housemate Holly. We asked if there was
a chance the two would be mates outside the Big
Brother house.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
I don't think we will ever be friends unfortunately. You know,
I think we can have an amicable relationship, but friendship
I think is pushing it.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, look, that's fair enough.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
And if you'd wondered about whether Connor was surprised that
his tics decreased as he became more comfortable with the housemates.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
No, a decrease in tics is quite common with a
lessening of anxiety, and often it's the way we think
people are receiving us that can heighten that anxiety. And
all the acceptance from the housemates, although I didn't expect
as much support as I got, that definitely was not
a surprise to me that it helped to lessen my tics.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Well, congrats to the entire Big Brother team for a
phenomenal season, and big ups to first time host to Meltresena,
who absolutely smashed it out of the park. Hey, that's
it for this morning's Morning Tea. But thank you sweethearts
for hanging out this morning. It's been an absolute pleasure
filling you in. My name is Ash London, host and
producer of Morning Tea. Executive producer is and miniesia is Warren.
