Speaker 1 (00:08):
You're listening to a Mom with mea podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Good morning, my angels, Ash London here. I hope you've
had a wonderful sleep. I hope you are ready to
take this Tuesday by the balls. This morning, I've gone
with a bit of an iced mutcha for my tea.
Ain't nothing wrong with that. I've got a huge episode
for you, something for the Big Brother fans, something for
the Real Housewives of Sydney fans. We're going one on
one with some of your favorites and we're going to
(00:46):
kick it off with the latest evict from Big Brother.
She was one of the seasons and most talked about
slash controversial contestants. Wa model Holly Young has been evicted
from the Big Brother House in some habit on Sunday
night after receiving the least number of save votes from
the public. We caught up with Holly after her viction
and asked her who from the house she'll be keeping
(01:07):
in touch with in the outside world. Absolutely, Big Brother.
I've got him on hotline. I'm getting I'll definitely be
in touch with Colin. He knows that, and I'm going
to wait for the rest of them to reach out
to me. If they want to. I definitely also think
Eddie and Bruce, Colin and I will definitely have a
reunion at some point together over this summer, because you know,
(01:31):
it's coming to that time of the year where everyone
gets to be out in the sunshine enjoying things. So yeah,
I'm looking forward to catching up with them. Yeah, and
then when I get back to Perth. Perth girls, you know,
we try and stick together as much as possible. And
we also simply had to ask about her in house
of romance with Colin and whether the sparks were there
(01:51):
from the get go. Colin and I when we first met,
I will never forget he came up and shook my hand,
look me right in the eyes, and I think from
that moment we had a little spark, and then over
time more conversations, we had challenges we had within the
other housemates for the show, and that definitely brought us
(02:12):
closer together. But we had each others back from day one,
and that's been the most important thing. I think people
don't remember that from the start, that it was day one,
but yeah, and that's a really special part of the
whole experience. Big Brother continues on Chattel ten, and I'll
tell you if the social engagement is anything to go off,
I think we'll be getting another season pretty damn quick.
(02:35):
Next up, fifty cent is teamed up with Netflix for
a new documentary about Diddy, and the trailer kicks off
with footage taken me days before his arrest.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
We have to find somebody that'll work with us, that
has dealt in the dirtiest of dirty business.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
We loosely.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Puffy Puff Daddy Diddy show calls.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
All of these read incarnations, all of those name changes
are attached to really bad deeds Sean Combs.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
The recording premieres this week on Netflix and it is
pretty harrowing stuff.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Stick around.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Our mates at the Quickie go one on one with
Chrissy Marsh to get all the Real Housewives of Sydney
gus It's up next. Welcome back by Darlings and our
friends and Mom and MEA's news podcast. The Quikie has
got an interview with Chrissy Marsh from the Real Housewives
(03:46):
of Sydney and she has spilled all the tea on
whether she'd be staying in touch.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
With doctor Kate. No.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Look, I don't speak with her, you know. In my
new podcast, I talk a lot about you know, women
and working in male dominated industries and all that, and
for me, it's always been you know, it's been a
bit of an advantage, you know, because you do stand out,
you know, the sort of woke not woke is the
wrong word. It's this woe is me narrative. And you know,
(04:12):
I'm a woman and I've done it all on my own,
and I've done this and I've done that, and you know,
that gets a bit tiresome after a while. You know,
just because I'm married doesn't mean that I haven't made money,
and doesn't mean that I haven't had a successful career,
and doesn't mean that I've contributed to that and done
that as well. Who's to assume that my husband's you know,
(04:32):
the money maker in the relationship. And I found that
really annoying because that's a constant sort of thing you're
fighting against, and it's like, you know, oh, well, yeah,
you married money, blah blah blah. Like really, Johnny from
the Gong and me, No, we definitely didn't marry money.
We've made everything ourselves and done everything ourselves. So real estate, yeah, exactly.
(04:53):
And I find that really annoying. When you know someone
is single and it's like, well, you know, you're not
allowed to talk about you know, I talked about once
about you know, my mum leaving a legacy of you know,
all these grandchildren and her children, and then it's like, oh, well,
how sensitive Kate doesn't have children. It's like, oh my god,
please really, you know, like it's always this eggshell sort
(05:15):
of thing. So yeah, no, she was never in my
social circle, will never be in my social circle, and
that's sort of it.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
You know. Lots more guys from Chrissy, including a room
is about her return and the show's return. Check the
show notes for the full chat. That is it for
me today, but thank you so much for spending a
