Speaker 3 (00:31):
Good Morning Spillers, Ash London, here are ready.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
For some morning tea.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Now, something a little different for you for your Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
You see, it's been a.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Hard year for anyone like me who loves love. I mean,
in what universe did we see Hugh and deb breaking
up in the same year as Nicole and Keith. It
would be easy to shake your fist to the heavens
and profess the official death of love. But instead, I
thought I'd bring you my definitive list of celebrity couples
who prove that maybe love is real after all. These

(01:01):
are the celebrity couples that can never, ever ever break up,
according to me.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
First up, Adam.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Brody and Lighton Mester, basically a cool indie band of
celeb couples under the radar, critically adored and way too
stylish to try too hard. They've been together since twenty
thirteen and married since twenty fourteen. The ultimate crossover episode
seth Comen meets Blair Woaldorf.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Now, while most.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Celebrity couples are out here doing you know, Instagram PDAs
and Red Cup at theatrics. These two are just quietly
raising their kids, live in a low key dream life
and occasionally reminding us that they exist and that they're
both way cooler than us.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Now nobody wants.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
This was a huge reminder of the fact that a
seth con aged well as well as we expected to,
perhaps better than we expected to, and b Adam and
Layton a couple goals.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Girls, gays and days don't.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Settle for a guy unless they're giving this energy when they're.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Talking about, Yeah, if you're with someone great, you're on
third best.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
I mean not that it doesn't take sacrifice and humility
and you have to grow together and you have to
be willing to grow because you're not going to be
able to stay one hundred right where you are, you know.
But yeah, if you're with someone wonderful, I think you're
on third best.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Next up postion becks.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I mean, as if they weren't making appearance on this guys,
they're matching. Netflix documentaries only cemented what a lot of
us have known forever. But these two are in the
long run. So back in nineteen ninety nine, when everyone
was worrying about Y two K, they were just busy
being well, hot and in love, wearing match from purple outfits.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
To their wedding.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Fast forward, twenty pluses and four kids, there's still seven
matching outfits, not purple, this time smoldering stairs and coordinated
power moves like it's a full time job, which, honestly,
I think it kind of is. My favorite thing about
these two is that they've mastered the art of being
glam and goofy.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I just fancy them. It was as simple as that.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
Yeah, I mean, I think Also, we both come from
families that work really hard. Both of our parents work
really hard. We're very working class. We honish I am
being honest. I am being honored.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Did your d drive you to school?

Speaker 5 (03:15):
In so?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
My dad my dad.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
It's not a simple answer because what did you get
your It depends no, no, okay.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
In the eighties, my dad had a Rolls Royce stick around.
Next up, we've got the Chikh Britt who married the
goofy TV actor and a Hollywood couple forty years deep
and still going strong. Welcome back to your morning tea.
Today we're talking to celebrity couples that remind.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Us of Love Israel.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Among all these devastating breakups, she is the effortlessly chic
Britt who can sing, act, and roasted her husband live
on TV. He's Jim from the Office who became a
jacked horror director just to impress his wife. Well, I
like to think he just did it to impress Emily,
but maybe he's just a really driven guy. They are
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and honestly, in my opinion,

(04:09):
there's nothing like a man who knows he's punching well
a Buffy's average.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
I remember going your customs. Everything was fine, and then
one week just got unlucky and there was a guy
about my age, seemed a bit crumpy, and he said,
let me see and he said yeah. He said you're
an actor and I said yeah. He goes, what do
I know you from? And I said, I don't know
if you'd know. I mean, we did the American version
of your British Office Strike one. Oh I love that show,

(04:38):
the UK version.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
I get it.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
I get it. And then he said, who are you visiting?
I said, my wife and he says she an actress
and I said, yeah, said what I know her, I said,
I don't know, and so what's her name? And I
said Emily Blunt as he was writing something, and he
went you you yeah, and he goes, all right, get
out of here.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Emily and John have been together for seventeen years and
she had two kids, Hazel and Violet. I want to
be friends with him the end, and my darlings, I'll
save the best for last.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Goldie Horn and Kurt Russell.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
The ultimate proof that marriage is optional, laughter is mandatory.
Together since nineteen eighty three. That's way longer I've even
been alive, Still going strong. They've been skipping down the
road of love for over forty years without ever needing rings,
contracts or prs, sons.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
That's right, they're not married.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Like when you think of happily married people, they're kind
of the first people.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
That come to mind.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Honestly, they're areadyre making everyone else look like trihards.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Let's be honest.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
They're goofy, golden and just genuinely into each other. Although
I would also be into my partner if I was
that age and they were that hot steal. Whether there's
Darian movies together that or just posting chaotic couple content
from the kitchen. They radiate the kind of we're still
best friends energy make the rest of us believe in
love again. Here's Goldie and Kurt recently pull side of

(05:58):
their mansion, answering the big old question, what's the secret
to forty years of happiness?

Speaker 7 (06:04):
There's no secret. I love you for asking a question
because it's a normal question. But there's two things for
me anyway, and that you both want to be together.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, I mean, you've.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
Got to want to be together, and as long as
you are laughing, just because it's you're right, it's up
and down, it's sideways, it's whatever.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
At the end of the day.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
How do you explain it? I don't know. I guess
it's as simple as saying I. For me, it's the
same thing as what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
I call that love.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
But you can actually survive a relationship in a way
that when you get older, you go, oh, I'm so
glad I got through whatever period that was. Do you
know what I mean? Because the relationships go through periods,
sometimes really hard times, but there's nothing sweeter than having
a family, and that is worth everything.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well, my darlings, that is my definitive list of celebrity
couples that have never allowed to break up. I mean
the adults, and they can actually do what they want,
but I'm just saying it would be a hot pill
to swallow for all of us. And sometimes it's nice
to just look at what's working in Hollywood, celebrate a
bit of love and let that float you through the
rest of you.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Wednesday, my name is Ax London.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Host and producer of Morning Tea executive produced by Minisha
Yes Warren.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
The girls from this bill are going to be back
in your feeds at three pm with a big dive
and of course make sure you're following us on the socials.
Oh catch it tomorrow and I said, right nearly see
