press conference and my heart just broke for him and
his family. And in that press conference he asked us
all no one to have sympathy for him and do

send out love to him and his family, but also
a shout out to another friend of the podcast. Clint
Eastwood Wayne Bennett for making that press conference one of

way back when I was a baby on the sideline
where it was still called the W League and the
ABC had the broadcast rights, and she was an incredible player.
Then she's an incredible broadcaster as well. But she was
with Melbourne Citio the weekend for the celebrations.

Open field play, which is we all know is where
Origin is eventually won because the forwards have bashed each
other to obliviate seventy eight minutes and everyone's exhausted. There's
no stop in play. There's like no penalties right or wrong.

There's no penalties like it's just absolutely NonStop football. So
you win it in the moments where there's a lapse,
and you need players like Reese Walsh in those moments.
You need his electric speed. I would say in terms
of his conditioning, I don't think from what I've seen
the past couple of Weeks.

runs deep, and as someone who has watched that Penrith
team cause a lot of damage to myself and the

I just feel that if Edwards is in origin, I
just know that he could be the game breaker, which
is interesting because he's such a solid player and he's
not usually the one that gets all the plauds. But
because he is so solid, I just know that he'll

have wanted him without Cleary having to ask. So in
my mind, Edwards was a stronger choice. I understand, of course.

the news that Arrow got diagnosed with MND and I
had to retire immediately from football, Like I just just

I have to preface this. I don't know this, I
don't know this man personally, but I watched that whole
press conference and my heart just broke for him and
his family. And in that press conference he asked us
all no one to have sympathy for him and do
not show him Bitty and Georgie, but I just die.

I can't just die inside. So I just wanted to
send out love to him and his family, but also
a shout out to another friend of the podcast. Clint
Eastwood Wayne Bennett for making that press conference one of
the hardest times of that man's life bearable because there
was a moment. There was a moment where you know,
the reporters are there and they're asking, you know, how

Gie as a player and all of this, and I
