Yes you are hello. I'm Lucky Gillespie. I am the
Purple Wiggle and I don't know about you, but I
am still jet lagged.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, me too. I mean you got back a week
a week in a bit, yeah, and I've been back
for a couple of days. Yes. And the jet lag
you forget coming back from that side of the world
from the UK UK. Yes, it's really tough, really tough.
I went to the barber when I got home the
day after and I sat down in the barbers chair
(00:56):
and the downlights are never great, and the mirror and
I looked awful. I thought to myself, this is cutting
my hair is not going to fix this. I looked terrible.
I should have put my luggage down at home and
kept them in under my eyes. I looked awful. Anyway,
I still got a haircut and trying to freshen up.
He look very good now, thank you, Loki. The jet
(01:17):
leg has been terrible.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
It was brutal this time. And when I got on
the plane, an older guy asked one of the flight attendants.
He said, oh, what do I do? What's my plan
of attack? And the flight attendant said, try and stay
awake for the London.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
To Singapore long leg like thirty hours.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
And then just sleep, sleep, sleep. So I stayed awake
and then stayed away for the second one. Oh okay,
and then got home and we landed in the first
thing in the morning Australian time, like five thirty am.
Tried to then stay awake the whole It was as disaster.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
You almost feel paralyzed, Yeah, you do. Like it's a
really weird feeling. And because Asher and Laws we all
did it together, we're all experiencing it. And Asher when
he was younger, the jet leg didn't maybe because of
sleeping you sleep more often norm But now he's in
his root sleep routine. He has being all over the
shop too, and Loza and I put him to bed
(02:08):
one night. The other night crashed out ourselves about an
hour on the couch, woke up and went okay, thought
we'll stay awake for a little bit longer because now
I've had a bit of a nap, and went to
bed at about eleven thirty at night. Asher then came
into the room at midnight. We got half in our
sleep saying I'm hungry, and he was away and he
(02:29):
was awake, and then that was it, Yeah, complaining about
how hungry he was. We tried to just go back
to sleep. You go back to sleep, you know, so
that yeah, anyway, he does throw.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
But what a trip it was.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
It was a great trip.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
It was a massive trip, massive shows, fantastic people. I
came back and told Dan, I said, the crowds were
just so enthusiastic, but so just wonderful crowd gooers, wonderful
show watches. There was something about just the energy in
the whole trip, but it was. It was fantastic. So
anyone who came to the show in the UK, thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Was wonderful. We had a really lovely time and there
was a lot of families on the road. It was
so Katerina had her twins, yes, Gigi and Dolly, with
her sister Anna and and his son a j. Yes,
that little family unit and of course it was Henry yes,
John and Jess's little boy, Henry, yes. And then Asher
with Loss and I and so it was a big
(03:20):
family affair. It was was lovely yeah. Yeah. And there
was a couple of children missing. It was Lulu and
Lottie and Jasper. Yes, they didn't make it, stayed they
stayed home. How was it, Locke, seeing us with our
families and with your family being at home? Was that okay?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah, it was. I think I think it helps in
a way in America. Last year I got lots of
cuddles from Gigi, particularly, we really bonded on the bus.
She fell asleep on me quite a few times in
the window. I know. They do like Lockie the character,
and they this this too, call you Roku, that's Henry
Henry callby Roku, which I loved. Henry is a great

little kid. But yeah, the girl I was just no cuddles.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
No, you couldn't get one.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
You know. I'm more of the just hang back, they'll
they'll come.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
They'll come if you build it. They didn't.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
My point was that I love the kids being around,
and there's something nice about having children close when you're
missing yours. And I've done and I talk and obviously
miss each other a lot, but I knew it was
two weeks. I came straight home. A lot of you
stayed over. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah. We went to Paris for three nights and then
had a couple of nights back in London. My sister
lives in London. She's been there for like, I don't know,
maybe twenty five years or something, so that was great
to be able to spend a couple of nights with her.
Asher as a yoto, a travel yoto, and he had
a little French speaking card which you put in there
(04:41):
and back home. When we were home. The other day
was and walking on the street and he went bus lobus,
so he picked up the language.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Bus was so cute. He seemed to have fun. I
loved what she I thought it was so beautiful. That
was the first time. Folks are a little bit old
at all of them, but they all played with each other. Yeah,
stage like it was so lovely.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
And it's funny because he's like the older kid. Yeah,
and he's kind of showing them the ropes. But he
would ask. I was like, I'd already beat the venue.
And most of the time, thankfully, we get late checkouts
at the hotel, so Lots and Asher could plan their
day and not have to beat the venue a whole day.
But he'd always ask when Loss was speaking to me,
Henry or Dolly and g they there, so because he
wanted to be there at the same time as them,
(05:26):
so they could play together and he could share his
toys in his cars and another toy that he bought, and.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
You could see Henry really looked up to Yeah, it
was really for him, but it is a lot for
Lows and for Jess and yeah, yeah, the massive amount
for Kidio and the two like to have. There is
a side on the road that's not just it's lovely
being together, but it is when we're that busy.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Really tricky. And you know now, I mean Loss is
experienced for a while because of ashes now five and
you could see it now with Dolly and Gig and
Henry now that they're moving and they're not little babies anymore,
that that actually changes it completely for that pairent or
the care he's looking after them because they're on the
move and you've got to find things to do, and
so I mean Loss would just be googling the whole
(06:10):
time playgrounds in the area, you know, shopping centers, and
she would be off swimming pools, doing whatever she could
just to entertain, keep Asher entertained and give him as
much sense of normality as possible. And then you know
it always loves coming to the show, and you know,
now he's an age where he will sit and watch
the show. Where looking back now and I see Dolly,
(06:32):
Gigi and Henry and they're running around like as she
used to do, everyone chasing after them, where as you
will now just kind of sit and watch. So it
is fascinating seeing how it changes with age. But yeah,
I mean so beautiful, so lucky that they can all
come on the road with Yeah. Do you think you will?
I mean we'll probably go to the UK. I'm sure
we'll go to the UK again next year. Will you
(06:54):
try to do a family.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I think I think better ages. Yeah, it means a
little bit of missing school, but that I think that's
okay for what experience as well?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, I think so. I mean the experience surely, the
experience you get from traveling the world and seeing different
places and different cultures.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Definitely for a short amount of time. Yeah, and I
would love the kids to all play together too. That's
that'd be so lovely. My what do you call it?
I don't know what you call it, but I got
a tattoo it to do something when you miss your family,
and you thought, you know, I'm going to do something
that's a little bit off center for Lockie.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
It is, actually it is a bit a bit off kilter.
Someone wrote to someone. A tangier artist wrote to someone.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
I think it was Tree of Wisdom?
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Was it a tree of wisdom? Yeah, maybe saying we
could come to a venue, was it Liverpool? It was,
and give people tattoos if they want them. Of course,
the whole place was sterilized with an inch of its life.
And and yeah, and you took it up on the
on the offer.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, well when was this one?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
This was the you're two.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Tattoos huge as you can see, quite quite massive. That's
the first one went. Yeah, it's a little it's a
little d N heart, which I love. And I thought
I'd never get a tattoo. Ever, what was weird? Remember
last year in America, we're doing a meat and greet
with the family, and they said, oh are your tattoo?
(08:16):
And they picked up on the podcast. They really zoomed
in How did you ever see that? There's lots of
the time I have either a ward that that's my
incredibly tough tattoo. It's in purple ink oh my wrist
and it's a tiny love heart with d N initials.
And then I thought, well, I've got to get one
(08:37):
on the other side. Yeah, so on the other side
of this tour, backstage, I got a shamrock.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yep, yep, So what do you call it? Clover? Clover?
Speaker 3 (08:47):
It's a clover?
Speaker 2 (08:48):
What is a shamrock? Sham? Wow?
Speaker 3 (08:54):
No, it's a it's a three leaf clover with kind
of love hearts with the initials of my three kids.
But then I thought, well that his.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Little heart looks oh no, see this looks a bit
oh no, looks sleeves.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Next to the Shamwell, so I've got it redone.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
I got a touch up. So this after Liverpool with
the little the people who came, which is very kind
of them. A few people got tattoos. They I don't
have any, just in case anyone's wondering. And you know,
when I talked about nasal hair, he reminded me of
now you go to the barber and they ask if
you like your eyebrows trimmed.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah, they put the Comba cross.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Anyway, So then you went to Edinburgh, you got a
little touch up.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Well, I ran to I saw you rushing more.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
That was.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Arthur's seat. That was the best day off, wasn't it.
That was Easter.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
It was the only Easter Sunday and it snow. It
was the only day off we actually had. Yeah, we
saw you running. We called out, but you didn't hear it.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Ze It's beautiful snow on the window in the morning,
and then it cleared up. So I thought, this is
my window, go go go. I ran up to Arthur's seat,
and then on the walk back, I walked past what
looked like a cool tattoo parlor. I don't know my
tattoo parlors. And I walked in. There were five girls
at the desk with a massive pitbull dog and I thought,
(10:22):
this is this is the place to me. And I
had a job rod because I was freezy, and I
just rolled up my job. Could you what do you
think of this? It's faded already and only got it
done last year. She said, oh, well we can do
that for you, but I just got this one done
and she said, look why don't you wait for this
one to fade a new one, so then I have
(10:43):
to charge you a full fee to get this tiny
one colored?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Surely colored. It couldn't cost it was It.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Wasn't too bad, But then I said, no, look, I'd
really like to get it because they matched and they
look good together.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yeah, what has done to think of your tattooed? Does
she think Lockie's gone away on his own without the
family and he's gone right, tatoos is out all night.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
She really liked this one to the point where then
she went and got it done herself with my initials,
it's hers and then, which I never thought, we both
said we'd never be tatoo people. And then I was
going to surprise it with this one when I got home,
but I was emotional on the flight, you know, the
long flight home, I thought, so I took a picture
of it and I sent it to him so she
saw it.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
She loves it.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
She did love it.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, okay, but tatoo parla.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I thought one of the naturally, one of the five
girls at the desk would be the tatoo artist. As
I was talking to them, and then she said, to hell,
hang on, I'll go get the yeah, and then five girls.
A guy came up. He was he was lovely, but
you know, the whole experience is knew for him. I
was a little scared being there by myself, and then
you get taken downstairs underground to the room, and I
(11:47):
thought what am I doing?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
But then it was all fine, going downstairs a little
touch up.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yep. I came back and of course three of the
crew boys were standing straight outside.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Theah, of course, and I.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Walked out of One of Ben said, did you just
you just walk out of the turdy poe like yep.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah, that's me rest Yeah, well unlucky, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
So I hadn't we going on to that missing family?
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, well that's right. That was my way of maybe
that should come with you next time. Yeah they will,
yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
But yeah the snow in Edinburgh and at the hotel
do a little.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Kids, Yeah, who was so lovely funny with because the
easter bunny had to find asher in oh yes, in Edinburgh. Yes,
but he said, oh no, it's okay because there's luck
twenty easter bunnies or something, because in his head he's
thinking this doesn't make sense. Yeah, one bunny can't deliver
(12:44):
eggs to everyone.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Especially when he's gone so far over the outside of
the world.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah. Yeah, and then we'd also put eggs at home
for when we get home. Yes, so as if the
easter bunny had come home pre thought. Yeah from was
not from me. And he did not buy that in
a second. Oh not for a second. Oh wow, Oh look,
(13:07):
oh what's that up here? You know?
Speaker 3 (13:10):
And he's like, ah, was that because Itavid's I didn't question.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
We just left it alone.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yeah, there's there's heaps of easter bunnies so they can
get all the jobs done, yes, which I think makes
more sense. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
We learned a few songs. I mean, we knew a
few songs for the UK and audiences over there, but
we learned a Welsh song yeah, him, Luke and I
in language, in the Welsh language, which was so beautiful
and so well received. A few days before that, we'd
sung Loch Loman for the people in Scotland on the
bunny Bonny bags off Locklow. The reception from Wales in
(13:57):
particular that was quite emotional singing that song. That was
a song called colin Land, which is kind of just
a beautiful nursery rhyme they have sung over there that
the words translate to something like color land means pure heart.
But just having a pure heart is more important than
any gifts or gold or pearls or anything in them
you could ever have to have a pure heart and
(14:17):
take that through life with you. But it was so
well received and we should record it, and we have
a bit of a snippet to play here. But the
audience just got to the end of the song and
it was such a different clap.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
It seems something very meaningful for them, that as a
group we would learn something that was special to them.
And it was sung beautifully by Ulucki and the cheerance
are high. But Anthony's daughter Maria is in Wales in
Cardiff study drama, so it was was it a friend
of hers?
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Friend of hers Alice? Yeah, al had. We had two
phone calls with Alice.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Alice Alice.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
She was so wonderful. She said she'd never never done
any voice classes. She was so awesome. She broke it
down so well, it's quite complex. If you listen to it.
You just for the first time she went through and
I was like, it's just completely different. There's quite a
few like yeah, double double, Okay, cut, it's really hard
(15:34):
to do. It's like an s weird s sound for
it was. The whole thing was so new, but it
was so rewarding to learn. And the crowds, crowds.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
My brand is Welsh, Yes, price with the y. Yes,
that's Welsh. Yeah, that's my people.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Britain Turfell. Yes, got a voice like his?
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yes, that's right. Yeah.

And what about Joel got it new?
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Joel Oates who came up on stage. Sometimes in the shows,
depending on how it's going and how many people are
dressing up as trees for the rattling bog, will get
guests up on stage to have a dance with a
tree at the end. And Joel wasn't. He was dressed
in yellow. He was in yellow. Yeah, he came up
and he was a ripper.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I gave him and asked him how he was feeling,
because you could just tell he was so beautifully keen
on getting up on stage. And he had the most
beautiful response, but in that thick accent it was it
was just so vibed. He's like, oh, this is my
lifelong dream. I'm so happy to be here. I'm sure
it's His reaction went viral over there. But yeah, it
was just it was such a great trip, It really was.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah, last year took us by surprise with the response
in the UK, and this year even more so. It's
a great way to tour and now personally with a family,
because even though it's hard, we're doing three shows a
day and then you're hop in the car and you'll drive,
but it's only driving three hours or something when they're
long days, and thankfully, you know, most of the time
(16:59):
as should fall us in the car, we'd have dinner
before we left and fall asleep in the car, and
then he's always been good at being able to transfer
him from the car. But he'd wake up in a
new hotel every morning and be fine, Yeah, completely fine,
you know, And half the time he didn't even know
what hotel he was in because he was asleep when
he put him down down here and we wake up.
(17:19):
And so I mean, that experience for him, I think,
for transitioning and all those kind of things in life,
and that sort of resilience I think can really kind
of help him definitely. But it is a great way
to be able to travel with the family, and a
great tour to do because you're not. It's not like
America where you can be twenty hours on a bus
to get from one state to the next. You know,
you drive a few hours, you're in a new, new city,
(17:42):
and you know. It was just such a wonderful experience.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
And was I watched Reacher on the plane, Oh did
you yep? And that got me through actually the three
series we had.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Yeah, I mean staying at Wakelock for thirteen hours when
it is nighttime.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
So that's yeah, because we got Yeah, we got on
the plane.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That's our night time to stay awake.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah, that was It was Reacher to the point where
I got off the plane Boastingapore and Sydney thinking I was.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
A little bit richer.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
I was looking out for things. I was like, aware,
it's such a good show. Yeah, I wasn't going to
fight people, but I was like, I was looking out
for the luggage and looking around.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
And yeah, I watched Welcome to Wexham. Oh, yes, which
is set in Wales. Yes, that's soccer in which Ryan
Reynolds and the other guy Rob. I'm really enjoying that. Yeah,
and that was kind of a little I think homage
to Yes the tour. Yes, but I haven't googled anything.
(18:42):
I want to know because I think i'm a bit behind.
I think this came out a few years ago. Maybe,
so I haven't googled anything because I don't want to.

Yes, we talked about Yellowstone, haven't we?

Yeah, good goodness, meeting. We're up to season four. Just
this is our thing. When we got home, we watched
quite a few and then we've slowed it down. Have
you backed off a bid? Yeah, because it's just it's
too tense, really, yeah, trying to watch that before you
go to bed.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, so we.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Did one on Friday night.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Bring back to the Reacher vibes you all.

Oh, there's a lot of Reacher going on Yellowstone. It's
it's full on.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Well, I'm quite similar because the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
That's a new series, right, and they're they're interesting people.
You're here of Rhode Island. But I didn't know is
that New York? I did google. I think it's in
between sort of Boston and New York. I think it's
there right somewhere. I might have got that wrong, but
(19:39):
I think that's right. Fascinating people. Yeah, but I'm really
enjoying it. Yes, yeah, and the ladies of London. Oh yeah,
oh now you met royalty. Oh I did, But funnily enough,
not in the UK. No, no, no, that's here in Melbourne.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
I'd like to say that was one of my reasons
for racing home from the trip. Well it was as well.
But yes we flew to Melbourne, big strong John. Yes,
and I and poor Johnny. He went a few days
in Singapore after the trip landed in Australia. Tuesday morning,
went at home. I'm assuming to pack another little bag
(20:16):
to come to Melbourne or a Tuesday afternoon. Then had
to somehow get back into some kind of thing to
wake up Wednesday morning to meet Prince Harry. Yes we did, yeah,
and how was that? It was very very brief, but
it was very exciting we were there. It was at
the witt And Oval at the Western Bulldogs as part
of November have done a big report on a fathering report,
(20:39):
everything with men's health and being dads and so they
were presenting that and the Prince was there to talk
about their findings. But it was really really interesting hearing
him talk. And then we got dressed and then went
down on the oval to be the entertainment for all
the families there, which was really lovely. But yeah, we
got to very briefly say hello and meet him and
get a photo and very exciting, a really nice nice
(21:02):
thing to be there for that that morning.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
And then John I think, flew to the Philippines straight away. Yeah,
he's unstoppable. That's what happens when you're strong.

the prince. And we got told to start with Duke
of Sussex. Okay, most likely say Harry's fine. Yeah I
didn't really even get get that out. It's quite it's

Yeah, that's really tricky. Yeah, you could make a real
meal of that, I'm sure.

I did quite softly, but no, it was it was lovely.
It was a really really nice that's good.

What was it like getting home and seeing the girls?
Oh it's still holidays. It was still holidays.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yeah, we had had a great week. They were so excited.
It was the best. It's the besides to love about
all that is that they're coming home each time, and
it's the same for Donna and I, but the kids
are just so they were so excited, very much into
what present did you buy me? And I'm trying to say, look,
it's not just this is the present right here?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
This guy tattoo? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, that's so. Did you
show them your tattoo?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I did. I don't think they quite understand. No, I
think because maybe because it's purple ink too it looks
just like a stamp, yeah okay, or like the drawing.
But I'd explained to them that I think Jasper really
really quite liked it. He was on their first And
what was weird? The girl when I she was so lovely,
but when I just wrote the initials on a bit
of paper and then she, in a really cool way,

put them all in birth order, which I just thought
was so it happened to be like that, just the first,
then Lulu but Googo and then Loody Lou, three of them.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
That's us if she was channeling something, she was channeling
through the ink.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Abby the tattoo artist was just really cool and she
put them all in order.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Is there a tattoo artist who has no tattoos? Do
you think? Surely not?

I don't think so. Not the ones I've come across something.

A vegan chef at a steak restaurant.

You know I got when I initially got my DN heart,
I was going to put on my finger and the
artist at the time showed me his and said, look,
it's just they're just going to fade and look really bad.
You're ringing so many on their hand, like all different
letters on. So that's why I went the wrist.

D you get another tattoo?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
No?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Is this it? Like? You know?

I might just get the flower of Scotland to finish.

So I have Scotland iron, you know my heritage probably not? Okay, lovely,
then I'll stop unless we have other children.

I don't have any. No, I haven't got any tattoos.
And I know what I'm not a tattooed person.

I didn't think I would. Emotional things happen when you have.

When you're on your own, you on your own name.
You and Jack reach out see the housewives. They keep
me grounded the right. Yeah, it's a whole different thing. Yes,
it's a great tour. I can't wait to go back.

we can boy you with that. But yeah, it was

a great time. Lookie, it was nice to be back though.

It was so lovely to be back. I think I
said on stage in Glasgow that I just came out.
I was quite emotional singing luch Loman and I said,
we'll be back next year. You did then you said really.

I said, okay, I guess we are coming then. But
there was another song that you sang, You'd Learnt, which
I think we did in Edinburgh.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah, at Caledonia Caledonia.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Yeah, and then that got the same sort of.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Such a beautiful song.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, we sang that in Edinburgh. And then there was
a dad and his son. I think that the boy's
name had the sign Aaron, who came to the show
and he saw We then went to Glasgow yes, and
he saw Anthony at stage door before the show and
the dad said, do not sing that song Caledonia Yeah
in Glasgow because of the relationship with the football teams,

and it will not go down well at.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
All Lohman, which went beautifully.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
We went to lan Yes.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
But then during that show week the most signs we've
ever ever received on some of those show days in
the UK. But there were so many funny signs. But
one of the signs you remember.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
He handed it to you read it as no Scotland party.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yes. I've only got a few seconds to read these things,
and sometimes they're glittery and there's there's lots of imagery
going on, and I try my best, but I read
no Scotland party.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Which sounded like it was some sort of political.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Statement, and the crowd had no response. But then some
people in the crowd called out from the front say no,
look again and it was no Scotland.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
No party, which relates to the World Cup campaign. Yes
for Scotland, Yes, which they're in.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
They're in. Yeah, And then we a tree of Wisdom,
to his wonderful credit, went away and did some research
and then the very next show in Glasgow learnt the chance.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
That no Scotland, no part. So then the.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Crowd went went off.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
We looked like we really knew we were talking about. Yep,
we didn't.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
We didn't, We didn't initially at all. But also some
of the names, Oh I get nervous sometimes.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Oh yeah, you're very good at it.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
I get the sweats. Yeah, just because some of the
beautiful Irish and Scottish names. You see them on the
card and you just go to start singing and you're like,
I have absolutely no idea or not about to say.
But then I just asked the parents down the front,
and a lot of the time I can't.

Hear what they say. You know, it's part of your appeal. Look,
thank you? Really is really? Is you know? Neva? Oh yes,
heaven heaven backward. I was told that by it because
I mispronounced that once. Yes, yeah, and she said no,
it's ok forgure that anyway. I think that's enough yes

Purple Wiggle and I don't know about you, but I
am still jet lagged.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, me too. I mean you got back a week
a week in a bit, yeah, and I've been back
for a couple of days. Yes. And the jet lag
you forget coming back from that side of the world
from the UK UK. Yes, it's really tough, really tough.
I went to the barber when I got home the
day after and I sat down in the barbers chair
(00:56):
and the downlights are never great, and the mirror and
I looked awful. I thought to myself, this is cutting
my hair is not going to fix this. I looked terrible.
I should have put my luggage down at home and
kept them in under my eyes. I looked awful. Anyway,
I still got a haircut and trying to freshen up.
He look very good now, thank you, Loki. The jet
(01:17):
leg has been terrible.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
It was brutal this time. And when I got on
the plane, an older guy asked one of the flight attendants.
He said, oh, what do I do? What's my plan
of attack? And the flight attendant said, try and stay
awake for the London.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
To Singapore long leg like thirty hours.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
And then just sleep, sleep, sleep. So I stayed awake
and then stayed away for the second one. Oh okay,
and then got home and we landed in the first
thing in the morning Australian time, like five thirty am.
Tried to then stay awake the whole It was as disaster.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
You almost feel paralyzed, Yeah, you do. Like it's a
really weird feeling. And because Asher and Laws we all
did it together, we're all experiencing it. And Asher when
he was younger, the jet leg didn't maybe because of
sleeping you sleep more often norm But now he's in
his root sleep routine. He has being all over the
shop too, and Loza and I put him to bed
(02:08):
one night. The other night crashed out ourselves about an
hour on the couch, woke up and went okay, thought
we'll stay awake for a little bit longer because now
I've had a bit of a nap, and went to
bed at about eleven thirty at night. Asher then came
into the room at midnight. We got half in our
sleep saying I'm hungry, and he was away and he
(02:29):
was awake, and then that was it, Yeah, complaining about
how hungry he was. We tried to just go back
to sleep. You go back to sleep, you know, so
that yeah, anyway, he does throw.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
But what a trip it was.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
It was a great trip.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
It was a massive trip, massive shows, fantastic people. I
came back and told Dan, I said, the crowds were
just so enthusiastic, but so just wonderful crowd gooers, wonderful
show watches. There was something about just the energy in
the whole trip, but it was. It was fantastic. So
anyone who came to the show in the UK, thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Was wonderful. We had a really lovely time and there
was a lot of families on the road. It was
so Katerina had her twins, yes, Gigi and Dolly, with
her sister Anna and and his son a j. Yes,
that little family unit and of course it was Henry yes,
John and Jess's little boy, Henry, yes. And then Asher
with Loss and I and so it was a big
(03:20):
family affair. It was was lovely yeah. Yeah. And there
was a couple of children missing. It was Lulu and
Lottie and Jasper. Yes, they didn't make it, stayed they
stayed home. How was it, Locke, seeing us with our
families and with your family being at home? Was that okay?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah, it was. I think I think it helps in
a way in America. Last year I got lots of
cuddles from Gigi, particularly, we really bonded on the bus.
She fell asleep on me quite a few times in
the window. I know. They do like Lockie the character,
and they this this too, call you Roku, that's Henry
Henry callby Roku, which I loved. Henry is a great
(03:58):
little kid. But yeah, the girl I was just no cuddles.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
No, you couldn't get one.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
You know. I'm more of the just hang back, they'll
they'll come.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
They'll come if you build it. They didn't.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
My point was that I love the kids being around,
and there's something nice about having children close when you're
missing yours. And I've done and I talk and obviously
miss each other a lot, but I knew it was
two weeks. I came straight home. A lot of you
stayed over. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah. We went to Paris for three nights and then
had a couple of nights back in London. My sister
lives in London. She's been there for like, I don't know,
maybe twenty five years or something, so that was great
to be able to spend a couple of nights with her.
Asher as a yoto, a travel yoto, and he had
a little French speaking card which you put in there
(04:41):
and back home. When we were home. The other day
was and walking on the street and he went bus lobus,
so he picked up the language.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Bus was so cute. He seemed to have fun. I
loved what she I thought it was so beautiful. That
was the first time. Folks are a little bit old
at all of them, but they all played with each other. Yeah,
stage like it was so lovely.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
And it's funny because he's like the older kid. Yeah,
and he's kind of showing them the ropes. But he
would ask. I was like, I'd already beat the venue.
And most of the time, thankfully, we get late checkouts
at the hotel, so Lots and Asher could plan their
day and not have to beat the venue a whole day.
But he'd always ask when Loss was speaking to me,
Henry or Dolly and g they there, so because he
wanted to be there at the same time as them,
(05:26):
so they could play together and he could share his
toys in his cars and another toy that he bought, and.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
You could see Henry really looked up to Yeah, it
was really for him, but it is a lot for
Lows and for Jess and yeah, yeah, the massive amount
for Kidio and the two like to have. There is
a side on the road that's not just it's lovely
being together, but it is when we're that busy.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Really tricky. And you know now, I mean Loss is
experienced for a while because of ashes now five and
you could see it now with Dolly and Gig and
Henry now that they're moving and they're not little babies anymore,
that that actually changes it completely for that pairent or
the care he's looking after them because they're on the
move and you've got to find things to do, and
so I mean Loss would just be googling the whole
(06:10):
time playgrounds in the area, you know, shopping centers, and
she would be off swimming pools, doing whatever she could
just to entertain, keep Asher entertained and give him as
much sense of normality as possible. And then you know
it always loves coming to the show, and you know,
now he's an age where he will sit and watch
the show. Where looking back now and I see Dolly,
(06:32):
Gigi and Henry and they're running around like as she
used to do, everyone chasing after them, where as you
will now just kind of sit and watch. So it
is fascinating seeing how it changes with age. But yeah,
I mean so beautiful, so lucky that they can all
come on the road with Yeah. Do you think you will?
I mean we'll probably go to the UK. I'm sure
we'll go to the UK again next year. Will you
(06:54):
try to do a family.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I think I think better ages. Yeah, it means a
little bit of missing school, but that I think that's
okay for what experience as well?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, I think so. I mean the experience surely, the
experience you get from traveling the world and seeing different
places and different cultures.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Definitely for a short amount of time. Yeah, and I
would love the kids to all play together too. That's
that'd be so lovely. My what do you call it?
I don't know what you call it, but I got
a tattoo it to do something when you miss your family,
and you thought, you know, I'm going to do something
that's a little bit off center for Lockie.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
It is, actually it is a bit a bit off kilter.
Someone wrote to someone. A tangier artist wrote to someone.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
I think it was Tree of Wisdom?
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Was it a tree of wisdom? Yeah, maybe saying we
could come to a venue, was it Liverpool? It was,
and give people tattoos if they want them. Of course,
the whole place was sterilized with an inch of its life.
And and yeah, and you took it up on the
on the offer.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, well when was this one?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
This was the you're two.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Tattoos huge as you can see, quite quite massive. That's
the first one went. Yeah, it's a little it's a
little d N heart, which I love. And I thought
I'd never get a tattoo. Ever, what was weird? Remember
last year in America, we're doing a meat and greet
with the family, and they said, oh are your tattoo?
(08:16):
And they picked up on the podcast. They really zoomed
in How did you ever see that? There's lots of
the time I have either a ward that that's my
incredibly tough tattoo. It's in purple ink oh my wrist
and it's a tiny love heart with d N initials.
And then I thought, well, I've got to get one
(08:37):
on the other side. Yeah, so on the other side
of this tour, backstage, I got a shamrock.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yep, yep, So what do you call it? Clover? Clover?
Speaker 3 (08:47):
It's a clover?
Speaker 2 (08:48):
What is a shamrock? Sham? Wow?
Speaker 3 (08:54):
No, it's a it's a three leaf clover with kind
of love hearts with the initials of my three kids.
But then I thought, well that his.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Little heart looks oh no, see this looks a bit
oh no, looks sleeves.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Next to the Shamwell, so I've got it redone.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
I got a touch up. So this after Liverpool with
the little the people who came, which is very kind
of them. A few people got tattoos. They I don't
have any, just in case anyone's wondering. And you know,
when I talked about nasal hair, he reminded me of
now you go to the barber and they ask if
you like your eyebrows trimmed.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah, they put the Comba cross.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Anyway, So then you went to Edinburgh, you got a
little touch up.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Well, I ran to I saw you rushing more.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
That was.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Arthur's seat. That was the best day off, wasn't it.
That was Easter.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
It was the only Easter Sunday and it snow. It
was the only day off we actually had. Yeah, we
saw you running. We called out, but you didn't hear it.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Ze It's beautiful snow on the window in the morning,
and then it cleared up. So I thought, this is
my window, go go go. I ran up to Arthur's seat,
and then on the walk back, I walked past what
looked like a cool tattoo parlor. I don't know my
tattoo parlors. And I walked in. There were five girls
at the desk with a massive pitbull dog and I thought,
(10:22):
this is this is the place to me. And I
had a job rod because I was freezy, and I
just rolled up my job. Could you what do you
think of this? It's faded already and only got it
done last year. She said, oh, well we can do
that for you, but I just got this one done
and she said, look why don't you wait for this
one to fade a new one, so then I have
(10:43):
to charge you a full fee to get this tiny
one colored?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Surely colored. It couldn't cost it was It.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Wasn't too bad, But then I said, no, look, I'd
really like to get it because they matched and they
look good together.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yeah, what has done to think of your tattooed? Does
she think Lockie's gone away on his own without the
family and he's gone right, tatoos is out all night.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
She really liked this one to the point where then
she went and got it done herself with my initials,
it's hers and then, which I never thought, we both
said we'd never be tatoo people. And then I was
going to surprise it with this one when I got home,
but I was emotional on the flight, you know, the
long flight home, I thought, so I took a picture
of it and I sent it to him so she
saw it.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
She loves it.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
She did love it.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, okay, but tatoo parla.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I thought one of the naturally, one of the five
girls at the desk would be the tatoo artist. As
I was talking to them, and then she said, to hell,
hang on, I'll go get the yeah, and then five girls.
A guy came up. He was he was lovely, but
you know, the whole experience is knew for him. I
was a little scared being there by myself, and then
you get taken downstairs underground to the room, and I
(11:47):
thought what am I doing?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
But then it was all fine, going downstairs a little
touch up.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yep. I came back and of course three of the
crew boys were standing straight outside.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Theah, of course, and I.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Walked out of One of Ben said, did you just
you just walk out of the turdy poe like yep.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yeah, that's me rest Yeah, well unlucky, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
So I hadn't we going on to that missing family?
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, well that's right. That was my way of maybe
that should come with you next time. Yeah they will,
yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
But yeah the snow in Edinburgh and at the hotel
do a little.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Kids, Yeah, who was so lovely funny with because the
easter bunny had to find asher in oh yes, in Edinburgh. Yes,
but he said, oh no, it's okay because there's luck
twenty easter bunnies or something, because in his head he's
thinking this doesn't make sense. Yeah, one bunny can't deliver
(12:44):
eggs to everyone.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Especially when he's gone so far over the outside of
the world.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah. Yeah, and then we'd also put eggs at home
for when we get home. Yes, so as if the
easter bunny had come home pre thought. Yeah from was
not from me. And he did not buy that in
a second. Oh not for a second. Oh wow, Oh look,
(13:07):
oh what's that up here? You know?
Speaker 3 (13:10):
And he's like, ah, was that because Itavid's I didn't question.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
We just left it alone.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yeah, there's there's heaps of easter bunnies so they can
get all the jobs done, yes, which I think makes
more sense. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
We learned a few songs. I mean, we knew a
few songs for the UK and audiences over there, but
we learned a Welsh song yeah, him, Luke and I
in language, in the Welsh language, which was so beautiful
and so well received. A few days before that, we'd
sung Loch Loman for the people in Scotland on the
bunny Bonny bags off Locklow. The reception from Wales in
(13:57):
particular that was quite emotional singing that song. That was
a song called colin Land, which is kind of just
a beautiful nursery rhyme they have sung over there that
the words translate to something like color land means pure heart.
But just having a pure heart is more important than
any gifts or gold or pearls or anything in them
you could ever have to have a pure heart and
(14:17):
take that through life with you. But it was so
well received and we should record it, and we have
a bit of a snippet to play here. But the
audience just got to the end of the song and
it was such a different clap.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
It seems something very meaningful for them, that as a
group we would learn something that was special to them.
And it was sung beautifully by Ulucki and the cheerance
are high. But Anthony's daughter Maria is in Wales in
Cardiff study drama, so it was was it a friend
of hers?
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Friend of hers Alice? Yeah, al had. We had two
phone calls with Alice.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Alice Alice.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
She was so wonderful. She said she'd never never done
any voice classes. She was so awesome. She broke it
down so well, it's quite complex. If you listen to it.
You just for the first time she went through and
I was like, it's just completely different. There's quite a
few like yeah, double double, Okay, cut, it's really hard
(15:34):
to do. It's like an s weird s sound for
it was. The whole thing was so new, but it
was so rewarding to learn. And the crowds, crowds.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
My brand is Welsh, Yes, price with the y. Yes,
that's Welsh. Yeah, that's my people.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Britain Turfell. Yes, got a voice like his?
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yes, that's right. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
And what about Joel got it new?
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Joel Oates who came up on stage. Sometimes in the shows,
depending on how it's going and how many people are
dressing up as trees for the rattling bog, will get
guests up on stage to have a dance with a
tree at the end. And Joel wasn't. He was dressed
in yellow. He was in yellow. Yeah, he came up
and he was a ripper.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I gave him and asked him how he was feeling,
because you could just tell he was so beautifully keen
on getting up on stage. And he had the most
beautiful response, but in that thick accent it was it
was just so vibed. He's like, oh, this is my
lifelong dream. I'm so happy to be here. I'm sure
it's His reaction went viral over there. But yeah, it
was just it was such a great trip, It really was.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah, last year took us by surprise with the response
in the UK, and this year even more so. It's
a great way to tour and now personally with a family,
because even though it's hard, we're doing three shows a
day and then you're hop in the car and you'll drive,
but it's only driving three hours or something when they're
long days, and thankfully, you know, most of the time
(16:59):
as should fall us in the car, we'd have dinner
before we left and fall asleep in the car, and
then he's always been good at being able to transfer
him from the car. But he'd wake up in a
new hotel every morning and be fine, Yeah, completely fine,
you know, And half the time he didn't even know
what hotel he was in because he was asleep when
he put him down down here and we wake up.
(17:19):
And so I mean, that experience for him, I think,
for transitioning and all those kind of things in life,
and that sort of resilience I think can really kind
of help him definitely. But it is a great way
to be able to travel with the family, and a
great tour to do because you're not. It's not like
America where you can be twenty hours on a bus
to get from one state to the next. You know,
you drive a few hours, you're in a new, new city,
(17:42):
and you know. It was just such a wonderful experience.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
And was I watched Reacher on the plane, Oh did
you yep? And that got me through actually the three
series we had.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Yeah, I mean staying at Wakelock for thirteen hours when
it is nighttime.
Speaker 3 (17:57):

I was looking out for things. I was like, aware,
it's such a good show. Yeah, I wasn't going to
fight people, but I was like, I was looking out
for the luggage and looking around.

And yeah, I watched Welcome to Wexham. Oh, yes, which
is set in Wales. Yes, that's soccer in which Ryan
Reynolds and the other guy Rob. I'm really enjoying that. Yeah,
and that was kind of a little I think homage
to Yes the tour. Yes, but I haven't googled anything.

I want to know because I think i'm a bit behind.
I think this came out a few years ago. Maybe,
so I haven't googled anything because I don't want to.

Yeah, good goodness, meeting. We're up to season four. Just
this is our thing. When we got home, we watched
quite a few and then we've slowed it down. Have
you backed off a bid? Yeah, because it's just it's
too tense, really, yeah, trying to watch that before you
go to bed.

Yeah, so we.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Did one on Friday night.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Bring back to the Reacher vibes you all.

Oh, there's a lot of Reacher going on Yellowstone. It's
it's full on.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Well, I'm quite similar because the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
That's a new series, right, and they're they're interesting people.
You're here of Rhode Island. But I didn't know is
that New York? I did google. I think it's in
between sort of Boston and New York. I think it's
there right somewhere. I might have got that wrong, but

I think that's right. Fascinating people. Yeah, but I'm really
enjoying it. Yes, yeah, and the ladies of London. Oh yeah,
oh now you met royalty. Oh I did, But funnily enough,
not in the UK. No, no, no, that's here in Melbourne.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
I'd like to say that was one of my reasons
for racing home from the trip. Well it was as well.
But yes we flew to Melbourne, big strong John. Yes,
and I and poor Johnny. He went a few days
in Singapore after the trip landed in Australia. Tuesday morning,
went at home. I'm assuming to pack another little bag

to come to Melbourne or a Tuesday afternoon. Then had
to somehow get back into some kind of thing to
wake up Wednesday morning to meet Prince Harry. Yes we did, yeah,
and how was that? It was very very brief, but
it was very exciting we were there. It was at
the witt And Oval at the Western Bulldogs as part
of November have done a big report on a fathering report,
(20:39):
everything with men's health and being dads and so they
were presenting that and the Prince was there to talk
about their findings. But it was really really interesting hearing
him talk. And then we got dressed and then went
down on the oval to be the entertainment for all
the families there, which was really lovely. But yeah, we
got to very briefly say hello and meet him and
get a photo and very exciting, a really nice nice
(21:02):
thing to be there for that that morning.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
And then John I think, flew to the Philippines straight away. Yeah,
he's unstoppable. That's what happens when you're strong.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
I know you'll turn up tomorrow and be fresh faced.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
I know when he goes to the barber and looks
in the mirror, he's happy. Yeah, well that was a
good experience. It was.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
It was really it was really cool something you do
every day. No kids came down for that, so that
was it was really you went down. Yeah, we all
went down to Melbourne, which was it was lovely. I
was nervous. Yeah, you wouldn't be. You still call them
he still is a prince. They were still calling him
the prince. And we got told to start with Duke
of Sussex. Okay, most likely say Harry's fine. Yeah I
didn't really even get get that out. It's quite it's
(21:48):
quite hard to say hello.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Yeah, that's really tricky. Yeah, you could make a real
meal of that, I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
I did quite softly, but no, it was it was lovely.
It was a really really nice that's good.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
What was it like getting home and seeing the girls?
Oh it's still holidays. It was still holidays.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yeah, we had had a great week. They were so excited.
It was the best. It's the besides to love about
all that is that they're coming home each time, and
it's the same for Donna and I, but the kids
are just so they were so excited, very much into
what present did you buy me? And I'm trying to say, look,
it's not just this is the present right here?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
This guy tattoo? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, that's so. Did you
show them your tattoo?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I did. I don't think they quite understand. No, I
think because maybe because it's purple ink too it looks
just like a stamp, yeah okay, or like the drawing.
But I'd explained to them that I think Jasper really
really quite liked it. He was on their first And
what was weird? The girl when I she was so lovely,
but when I just wrote the initials on a bit
of paper and then she, in a really cool way,

put them all in birth order, which I just thought
was so it happened to be like that, just the first,
then Lulu but Googo and then Loody Lou, three of them.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
That's us if she was channeling something, she was channeling
through the ink.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Abby the tattoo artist was just really cool and she
put them all in order.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Is there a tattoo artist who has no tattoos? Do
you think? Surely not?
Speaker 3 (23:13):
I don't think so. Not the ones I've come across something.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
A vegan chef at a steak restaurant.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
You know I got when I initially got my DN heart,
I was going to put on my finger and the
artist at the time showed me his and said, look,
it's just they're just going to fade and look really bad.
You're ringing so many on their hand, like all different
letters on. So that's why I went the wrist.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
D you get another tattoo?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
No?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Is this it? Like? You know?
Speaker 3 (23:40):
I might just get the flower of Scotland to finish.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Oh yeah, to finish it off.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
So I have Scotland iron, you know my heritage probably not? Okay, lovely,
then I'll stop unless we have other children.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
I don't have any. No, I haven't got any tattoos.
And I know what I'm not a tattooed person.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I didn't think I would. Emotional things happen when you have.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
When you're on your own, you on your own name.
You and Jack reach out see the housewives. They keep
me grounded the right. Yeah, it's a whole different thing. Yes,
it's a great tour. I can't wait to go back.
We've got more tour in coming up, which you know
we can boy you with that. But yeah, it was
(24:29):
a great time. Lookie, it was nice to be back though.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
It was so lovely to be back. I think I
said on stage in Glasgow that I just came out.
I was quite emotional singing luch Loman and I said,
we'll be back next year. You did then you said really.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I said, okay, I guess we are coming then. But
there was another song that you sang, You'd Learnt, which
I think we did in Edinburgh.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah, at Caledonia Caledonia.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Yeah, and then that got the same sort of.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Such a beautiful song.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, we sang that in Edinburgh. And then there was
a dad and his son. I think that the boy's
name had the sign Aaron, who came to the show
and he saw We then went to Glasgow yes, and
he saw Anthony at stage door before the show and
the dad said, do not sing that song Caledonia Yeah
in Glasgow because of the relationship with the football teams,

and it will not go down well at.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
All Lohman, which went beautifully.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
We went to lan Yes.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
But then during that show week the most signs we've
ever ever received on some of those show days in
the UK. But there were so many funny signs. But
one of the signs you remember.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
He handed it to you read it as no Scotland party.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yes. I've only got a few seconds to read these things,
and sometimes they're glittery and there's there's lots of imagery
going on, and I try my best, but I read
no Scotland party.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Which sounded like it was some sort of political.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Statement, and the crowd had no response. But then some
people in the crowd called out from the front say no,
look again and it was no Scotland.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
No party, which relates to the World Cup campaign. Yes
for Scotland, Yes, which they're in.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
They're in. Yeah, And then we a tree of Wisdom,
to his wonderful credit, went away and did some research
and then the very next show in Glasgow learnt the chance.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
That no Scotland, no part. So then the.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Crowd went went off.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
We looked like we really knew we were talking about. Yep,
we didn't.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
We didn't, We didn't initially at all. But also some
of the names, Oh I get nervous sometimes.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Oh yeah, you're very good at it.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
I get the sweats. Yeah, just because some of the
beautiful Irish and Scottish names. You see them on the
card and you just go to start singing and you're like,
I have absolutely no idea or not about to say.
But then I just asked the parents down the front,
and a lot of the time I can't.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Hear what they say. You know, it's part of your appeal. Look,
thank you? Really is really? Is you know? Neva? Oh yes,
heaven heaven backward. I was told that by it because
I mispronounced that once. Yes, yeah, and she said no,
it's ok forgure that anyway. I think that's enough yes
