Speaker 1 (00:10):
My hard podcasts, hear more kids podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the Free I Hard, The Will.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
And Moody podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Joe.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, there are a few things that annoy me. In
a few If no, there's not a new one.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I've got a new one that this is my most annoying.
This is currently think that annoys me most in the world.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
People who shouldn't shame you. People who shouldn't which is
everyone shouldn't shame you.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Well, no, okay, I'll differentiate in a second, because there's
useful shaming. So people who shouldn't shame you, but because
of their job they can't help it.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Doctors.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Doctors, So doctors, that's healthy shaming. No, sometimes not, sometimes not.
Their job is to go like, hey, just so you
know how to look at your lungs, given that you're
smoking a cigarette every five minutes and have been doing
for the last twenty years, I don't know, there's a
substantial amount of mucus in here, and hence you're probably
going to die unless.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
You stop smoking. So that that's good shaming.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
No, it's not that you say what you should say,
because you you just put into doctor language there, and
I hate that because you get this little lecture in
between you getting your diagnosis. Just say like, hey, mate,
found a bit of mucus on your lungs. Smoking not sure?
That's all you have to say.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
But you are sure you're smoking will kill you.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Not smoking not sure? That's like medical practicing.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
They should say, mucus on your lungs. We've found that
smoking is not helping that. Let's move on. You're an adult,
you'll make your own decision.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Fortunately through your language. There's a little bit of healthy
shaming going on. There has to be. That's their job.
They've got to go like, look, man, I don't want
to shame. He here, and this is on you if
you're going to take it as shame. But at the
end of the day, if you're eating a doughnut every
half hour on the half hour, you're probably going to
get diabetes by the time you're thirty. Like, that's just
that's just the way it is. And yes, that might
be shameful, but that's healthy shaming. Now you might also
(02:04):
get healthy shaming for your accountant. Right, he might go,
but he might go like't like to be shamed.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
You tell me the fit of a sensitivity. That might
be your job as.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Well, otherwise the therapist. Have you been flossing? You know
I haven't.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
You're in my mouth okay.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Currently in my mouth, dentist, denders. I think you have
to get the shame from as well. And I know
it's not nice, but you got to get the accountant right, Yeah, yeah,
you didn't get the shame there. If you have every
hundred dollars every single night on a video game and
a vape, then yeah, you're going to end up in
a situation where you're probably not going to have any
money to spend and your kids education.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
It's sad. There's a bit of shame there.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Now.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Theres a lot of shame places where they don't need the.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Shame, like food restaurants when they say is that all
for you? And you go, yes, it is, it is
all for me. That's just a simple question. That's just
do they know do they know to tell the kitchen whether.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
You want I've ordered a lot, you think it's two
people's worth, and it's just that what it is.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
And I hate that is that all for you? Yes,
that's all for me? Yes, I'm clearly with nobody. I
love that I've gone to you because I didn't such
as so one for me.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
The bike repair shop. How do they shame you there? Well,
you go to the bike repair shop and he goes like, oh, mate,
just so you know.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
The chain, your chain probably needs to be a little
bit more, a little bit more often and otherwise next
time you fall off, and I'm like, you could just
put the new chain on.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Just do the job.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Just do the job that I'm paying. I'm paying you.
I don't need the lecture.
Speaker 5 (03:35):
And also I've come here because I know my chain
was a problem. I don't need Yeah, how long since
you've last changed to chain? Yes, I don't know, and
I don't care. Yes, yeah, I get that. I mean
the same goes for people that fix your car.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Same thing. Oh, same thing. I just fix it, just
fix it. It's an issue.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
If I was driving a great car and it was
worth some level of preservation, that's pretty good. I'm not
like driving a Mustang or something like. Yeah, I'm not
driving exactly a car. It's like, hey, look, you're looking
after this car.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
You want to keep it. It's like, look, I'm just
leasing the car. Fight I'm gonna sell it at the
end of the five years anyway. Who cares? Just like me?
The car so I can go and drive my kids
hunt the vet. I've never been to the vet. No,
And I think that's probably a good thing. And they
shame you to sell that your dog sucks as an owner.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
They like, they like so the the second time, so
I took my dog into the vet after she knocked
herself out running into a sign in the park. You
have to be shamed for that, like your dog knocked
yourself out, fair enough, and the dog, no, well, this
is the problem.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
She sprints it.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
You know what My dog's like, she's she's exuberant. And
then I took her back into the vet after she's
scold a bottle of ibeprofen that we left out on
the bench.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
This is starting, pumme, it's over.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
And then then I took her into the vet again
and she knocked herself out because she ran into a tree. Well,
this is starting to look bad. And the vet was like,
it's three strokes, mate, do you need a dog? And
I was like, that's really unfair. That's not your job.
That's problem that my dog runs into a tree. That's
not my problem.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
You got to teach them that from a young age.
She's a dog.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
But my issue with all of these things is that
they shame you before they're fixing the problem for you.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
That's the lecture.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Yes, that's that's like it's like, just do it for me,
and then I think you can have a PostScript, you know,
like at the dentist where they're like, I just say,
you know, I'll fix this up for you next time, maybe.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Don't eat sugar at ten am. I think they just say,
fix the thing and then we can talk after yeah,
yeahh and on that.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Why isn't it just a discussion afterwards where they go,
would you like the advice?
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Oh, would you like some advice? And I guarantee you
we'll all say.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
No, no, But you want the doctor's advice, Yes, you do,
because it's obvious.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
It's like I know, if I'm eating donuts, it's bad
for me. And if you don't know that god read
a book.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
What experience have you had a doctor recently that has
produced this for you?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
No, Well, they just say, because I ask for bloods
and they always go they always say like hey, they'll
they'll start saying like have you ever thought of maybe
that you're a hypochondriac, because like, how are you feeling
you're feeling bad. I'm like, I don't need this. I'm
paying you to stick something in my body. Take the blood,
do the test, and let me know. I'm okay.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
We've got a colleague. Catccasionally panels this show. She's great
when button puts your Tommy's away.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
We love Cat.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
We love cat aw you might hear across the day. Actually,
she's kind of jack of all trades. Brilliant radio person,
brilliant person, great to hang around boxes, we really does.
One of my favorite parts about her, though, is this
kind of like like she she kind of has this
faux confidence to her, but like, deep down you know
that she's also like just kind of like gorgeous but
also like cripplingly insecure.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
I see the confidence. I never I never go deeper.
You're a deep guy. You love it.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
I love love cracking surface and I just see it
and it makes her beautiful.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
That's of course why I love her so much.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
I can see how much like good there is in her,
and then it's just like she's she's not arrogant, she's
quite shy about it. Nothing gets past you, nah Na,
definitely not. I really love about her anyway. Today, as
soon as I walked in, I could just see it
on her. I was just like, nowhere, Like she just
got nowhere written and whatever, She's got a coffee in
one hand. She's leaving the building. Sorry, sorry, just quickly
(07:04):
you see that instantly? Yeah, because I saw her today. Yeah,
and I was just pumped to see it. And I
was just like, how is it a curse? Do you
think that you that you see pass that so quickly?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Likenestly? How quickly do you get it?
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Did you do you need to have a conversation or
do you just see someone and go, something's happening there?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yeah, that happens on me where today? Interesting.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Oh no, let's not go into that. You're not I
think you're not bad. Something going underneath the surface, but
I can't really yet.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
But yeah, I know, but I don't think you know
that that anyway. That's that's that's you get out of
jail for you.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
It's not you haven't figured it out yet and when
that thing happens, and you'll figure.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
It out event crossing over, well, the number four hasn't
been anything.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
To you yet, but it will.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
So Yeah, So anyway, I saw Cat do something on
the way out, which is just like one of the
most Just embrace your heart. But I think she did
something and I just want to check if she did it. Okay, great,
let's give a recall. I just want to see whether
or this happened.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
It might not have. This happened for five minutes ago.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Yeah, okay, Yeah, it was embarrassing for her.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Hello, Cat, it's Will from Will and Woody.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Hi.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
How are you good?
Speaker 3 (08:20):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
You're on the radio?
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Okay, there's that radio voice. Hey, so can I I
saw you leave before, I just like walk off the floor,
and then I saw you do something and I just
I just I'm not sure if it actually happened or.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
In my mind had happened, and I just wanted to
double check with you.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
What you got to the edge of the floor, like
on our side, like to where the texts are, and
then it looked like you turned around and like addressed
the office by saying something.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
And then I did and no one, no one.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
It was really embarrassed.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
What did you go? Sorry? Cat? What did you go for?
What were you trying to say to address the entire floor?
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I was letting everyone know that my parking day is
available if you want to use.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
This lovely gesture.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
And because I said, by cats, she goes by everyone,
and I was like, by cat, like no one's caught
that because everyone was busy doing something.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
And then you took a few extra steps and then
you turn.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Around and then you go by the way parking veil
is free. No one looks up, and then you said
something to yourself. What did you say to yourself after
you said that?
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Oh god, I don't even know. I just remember yelling
to the office and being mortified. Immediately responded, I don't know,
but that's the last time that I'm going to do that, like,
because that was embarrassing anyway, well.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Being a good person. It was so nice you put
yourself out there more Cat. We love love it, I
love it.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Thanks for the support, guys.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Tomorrow, let's double Dan.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
I'm not sure if anyone's playing this on the floor,
but Cat's Parking Bay.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Bye, Cat, very very.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Place, renouncing Glenn Robins in the studio here with us.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
You speaking, of course, it's so good to be here.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
You guys look fantastic. And I was worried because I
had shorts on and the studio is hot and I'm
feeling good.
Speaker 7 (10:36):
Yes, is that interesting?
Speaker 2 (10:39):
For an audible medium. I mean, everyone's very interesting in
everyone in their car is going I wonder what he's wearing.
I wonder what is he is he going?
Speaker 7 (10:47):
Time?
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Being from Melbourne that you put the shorties away and
you just commit to them, you know.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
Although I find that very annoying in Melbourne in that
like there are some places where it's quite nice because
if i'd looking at the weather rapp quite annoying.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
I don't know about you, but it's starting to take
a toll on me. It's just there's a lot of admin.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
It's a real it's a real stop down, yeah, to
look at and then because you've got to take an
account the wind, it's it's it's a real role of
the dice, the what you're in.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
I can spend ten minutes on it, and then my
partner goes, what's the what's the bit tomorrow?
Speaker 7 (11:20):
And I go, you know what, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
I was just focusing on today. So much data, so much.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, I just want something to What they should do
is an app where they go like shorts and T shirt,
pack a jumper, like condense the data into what you
should wear. Because that's the only reason I'm looking I'll
tell you what else they've got that. Sorry, Tommy's telling
me that.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
What else they.
Speaker 8 (11:41):
Annoy me is when they do the weather, and they
do as they're finishing up the weather, they have all
the other states, but whatever state you're in, they leave
it out until they do this.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
You go, why tell us now it's okay, you can
come in out?
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Before you come in, you zoom in on the state
that you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yes to you, Yes, and someone's I think I've missed it.
I'm like, did they do a whole bit?
Speaker 4 (12:05):
But the other thing that frustrating me about the weather
app is when they've got the they tell you the weather,
they tell you the temperature, and then afterwards they'll tell
you what it feels like.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
Oh, how dare you?
Speaker 2 (12:15):
How do you tell it?
Speaker 7 (12:16):
Assume to know what I would feel like?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
You right, Yeah, a lot of assumptions being And had.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
They got someone called Keith who's out there, go hey, Keith,
what's it feel like?
Speaker 6 (12:28):
It's meant to be quite warm, but I'll tell you
what it doesn't feel warm exactly.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Best job in the world, by the way.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
If Keith who ever managed to snag that, yeah, just
go and stand outside and take a phoc How are
you down there?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Made? Oh? Pretty good? It feels like twelve points. Hey, Glenn,
you are here to talk about this show which is
doing terrifically well. By the way, Glenna mix Intervention.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
It's got huge, huge plaudits for it again seven and
seven plus.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
You know you're very good friends with Big Malloy. Have
been very good friends of Bmick malloy for forty years.
Forty years.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
So is there anything else that you have come up
with over the over the years that hit the waste
paper basket that didn't quite make TV in the way
that this has.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
That's a good question. No, you shoot the lights out
when it comes to pitching. Yeah, they all get green lip.
It's just like when Robins walks in. Don't even talk, Glenn,
it's on.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
I did a pilot for a TV show, and this
is true. Did a pilot for a TV show about
a hospital where I played someone who went to the
hospital with a pot on their head. Right, I'm not
making this up. And it was one of my first
jobs in television. I thought I was really special because
I had to go in for a pot fitting because
(13:46):
the guy went to hospital because he'd put a vase
on his head and he couldn't get it off.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
This is a re enacting or you're on All Saints
or something.
Speaker 7 (13:53):
It's like an All Saints sort of show.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
I think the whole show. I thought that was the
premise for the whole show, the whole season. Really get
off his head.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
If it does come up now, it came from me. Yeah,
and I played this guy that so it meant that
one of my first gigs on television.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
That's amazing. I didn't get seen when you were telling
people I'm the guy. My agent said, it's a fifty word.
Speaker 7 (14:17):
I'm going fantastic.
Speaker 6 (14:18):
Goes, oh, yeah, but you'll have a pot of your
head for the whole episode, and she said, oh, but
you have to go in for a pot fitting on Thursday.
Speaker 7 (14:28):
A friend of mine the other day, this is really sad.
He's getting on in years. And he got an offer.
They said, look.
Speaker 6 (14:33):
Tomorrow there's a movie being shot in Melbourne when they
need a pilot. No dialogue, but they need a pilot,
and they go He goes, well, you know what am
I doing tomorrow?
Speaker 7 (14:42):
I'll go and do it. I have a bit of
lunch and and it'll.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Be a good day. Anyway.
Speaker 6 (14:46):
So the agent rings back and goes goes, oh, sorry,
you didn't get the pilot the pilot gig.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
And then and then but they do need a back
of a head.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I'm not making this up. They do need a back
of her head. And he goes, oh, I'm.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Not doing anything. I'll get a bit of free lunch.
Did to the back of the head, get paid home,
makes out of sense. Agent rings back about later you
didn't get.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
The back of it.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
If you go to see the front of Glenn Robin's
head you can see it with Nick Lloy Celebrity intervention
on seven to seven Place.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Glenn, thank you so much for coming in.
Speaker 7 (15:30):
Thanks guys, pleasure.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
A little rounded with listen. We don't judge.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
So basically just a chance to give each other some
feedback and then it's just no but no no judgment
after that feedback.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
That's it. Just take them to each other. That's it's
listening to each other.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Something I'm listening. I'm I'm listening with warmth.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
So you know how you keep talking about the fact
that the pub near your.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
House, I love it, Moncells, that's not a paid it.
I love them. Yeah, I know you do. There all
the time, and you love them and there all the time,
getting better all the time. They're doing pizzas soon. It's
very exciting.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
And you know how you keep talking about like they're
doing food and yes, you keep saying to everyone, guys,
we should go down to Egger one cells and hang out.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yes, yes, yes, Live said it looks nice.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Live was can spoken to everyone individually? Yes, No one
wants to come.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Now we listen.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
I'm listening. I'm not reacting. That's fun. You guys don'ting
having a good time. That's fine doing have fun, that's fine. Whatever,
And you're all pack of lies. You're a pack of lies.
I think honesty is the best policy, and.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
I would I want to listen.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Just making a comment. I'm just making a comment. I'm
actually happy that that's my own little place that I
go to without you guys there. You guys are ruled it.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
I'm not judging.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
That's just fact. That's just fact. And you're not in
Budge my fortieth. That's going to be there.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
There, you're go. And it was going to be on
me free drinks for everyone, but not anymore. That wasn't
that's true. I was going five hundred bucks in the
bar at the start. Few shells a head. All right,
what have you got? So? You know, so you've got
a studio at the back of your house. Now it's
(17:28):
really great. And so we've got a big.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
Junket. It's usually early in the morning. With a big celebrity,
we go to your house early.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
But as you know, I'm just I'm not good with time.
I'm always very early, yeah, And I'm not good with time,
and I'm always very late.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
So with all that in mind, I think it's good
to tell you this actually because you can maybe give
you some direction. Every single time we've had a junket,
and how many times have we gone to your house early?
Ten times, twenty twenty times? Every single time? Yeah, I
take away in your front yard. Oh hey, hey, hey,
we listen, we listen, listen, every time we listen.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
We listen where just all over the place. No, I
never know where I go. Right, I go right just
near your side gate.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
It's almost just like under your little veranda, the de
greenery there.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Just there. Great, that's good. Thanks, let me know. Ah, No,
that's good, that's good. Sometimes the floodlight gets me, but
it doesn't bother me. It's father's day coming up? Is
it just a US Father's Day?
Speaker 4 (18:50):
I met, do we we're not on the same We're
not on the same calendar as them. So there's a
there's a different Father's Day depending in Australia in the US,
but there's the same Mother's Day in the US and Australia.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
Well, it's got to sink up there. I just sink up. Guys,
someone have a conversation.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Why that would be? Albow and Trump just need to
get on the phone, just go. Let's just got bigger
things to organize.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
Alb Albert Alberta calls Trump and top of the agenda
his Father's Day.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
I think Trump is hanging up the phone very quickly,
isn't that?
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Or no?
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Do you know what?
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Trump will probably love that, But Albow, everyone else in
the party would be like, come on, mate, we've got
we've got a bigger fish to five minutes with Trump
and your sunk up Father's Day. I mean, look, yeah, okay,
so they're not sinking out, I don't think, and I
think for exactly that reason, because it would take a
lot of effort to organize it. But anyway, Gwyneth Poultrow,
(19:42):
who just couldn't be hotter. Right now, we've all seen
Martin's Supreme or I saw it recently nominated, I'm pretty
sure did for supported actress, and she deserves I thought
she was better than he was. I thought anyone could
have played his roll. There you go, that's my hot take.
That's my hot take. That's my hot take. It's Josh
Safti's movie. It's not his anyway, So it's true anyone
could have played I think anyone could have played him.
(20:03):
So it's just a classic role, just like struggling guide,
like trying.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
To prove himself.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
I think not a lot of range. That the only
thing he does is right at the end, which I
thought was very good.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Tears.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Now, Gwyneth Paltrow, she has released, so her main job
these days, I mean, getting getting nominated in a Hollywood
movie is really just a side hustle for her, which
is pretty wild because what she does these days she
does the vagina candles and everything on a thing called goop.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Yes, the steaming of the vagina also.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Which is a which is a wellness am I a
wellness and lifestyle thing analyt She's a big on that. Yeah,
she's if you think the word woo woo comes to
mind pretty click quickly when you hear Gwyneth Paltrow's name
these days, she's.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Very very forward thinking products like you loved.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
You'd love to get a scientist to just run a
fine turth comb through a lot of the stuff that
she is a proponent of. Now, the reason that I'm
bringing that upwards is because Goop her company. Yes, they
have put together a Father's Day gift guide.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Okay, great, So these are gifts.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
To give your dad for Father's Day in the US
or back of Father's Day. The total, the number of
gifts was fifty four items. This is the Father's Day
Gift Guide. Over fifty four items they managed to telly
and this is US dollars eighty three thousand, one hundred
and seven US dollars.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Oh my, for fifty four items? Are they all Goop items?
By these on Goop? I imagine that's the point.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Gwyneth Paltros Lifestyle and Luxury Company's top fifty four Father's
Day gifts.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Play me that music coming? Wow? Way, this is awesome
all right.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
So so the bit is that she's named fifty four items.
As I just said, Now, they total, they total is
us dollars eighty three thousand, one hundred and seven US
dollars disgusting.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
It's actually discussed for fifty four items.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
You would you any of these items forwarded to your
girls and boy sorry boy at home?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Oh, like I may mention it, I mean like they're
oh wow, okay, interesting. What I wouldn't do though? Yeah,
Like the price tag on some of these is amazing, right.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Okay, you wouldn't be comfortable with your partner spending that
much for you.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
You deserve it. No, I wouldn't. Okay, all right, that's
given me some good, good tips there. Okay, so I'm
going to be getting the price. You're going to be.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Getting the price certain certain items. First one, Yeah, a
red light hat hat hat?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
So like a like a like a baseball cap.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Lined with panels of six hundred and fifty nimeters red light,
which researchers show can support circulation, healthy hair, follockers, and
scalp rejuvenation.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Has it got a peak though?
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Red light hat with it's a baseball cap?
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Okay, so you speep from the people at higher dose
and can does it look like a normal hat if
I walk down the park? Does everyone? Now I've got
red light therapist.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Ah, well, it's got a red light that glows underneath it,
so they might might have an idea.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Okay, red light hat. I'm going for US dollars or
astraling dolls. Red light therapy is writ in.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
I reckon if someone's just putting a hat and make
it look okay, they're asking a big dollar.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
I reckon. That's two thousand, three hundred dollars for a cap.
It's outrageous. It's obviously at four hundred and fifty dollars
it's a bug. We'll still a thousand Australian dollars for
a hat. Oh yeah, I'm forgetting the US Yeah, yeah, yeah,
let's go for another one here, okay.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Hair Merkle Hammerkle Hemmerklemrkle bronze pyramid cufflinks. What's her Merkle's
a brand, probably Merkle Bronze. I don't know what her
Merkle is. Can someone find out what Herrkle is the brand? No,
that'sz Ermmerkle Bronze pyramid cufflinks. So real pros there from
(24:10):
the guys at FD gallery. Don't know Amerkele Bronze m
Rkle bronze pyramid cufflings just says understated but utterly stunning. Okay,
So I think my problem with the last one was
that I was trying to be fancy by going way overs.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Let's be honest. Cuff links personally, they're just things that
you keep your suit and they're tiny. Personally, I wouldn't
pay over ten dollars for cuff links.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Well, I'm pretty sure at your wedding you didn't wear
cuff links.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
You just wore the things that.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Keep the shirts leaves together from the suit shop at
his wedding.
Speaker 5 (24:44):
At his wedding, going to say, I'm gonna say I
wouldn't pay more than ten dollars.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
So I think in that rageous amount of pay would
be one hundred dollars twelve thousand US dollars. That is
very close to swearing on twelve one thousand to twenty
five thousand Australian dollars for a set of couplings.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
That is, that is ext well done, Gwyneth, And she's
making the money off that what.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
I'm sure she'd get a commission.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
She's well done, gwen Okay, Final one, there's a lot here,
there's a lot here.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
I was just spending more of the spicier because mister
Gwen's you know, the steamers of Well, there's a bottle.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Of water here for thirty five dollars, bottle of learning water.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Imagine for Father's Day getting a bottle of thirty five bucks,
So seventy dollars they've spent their quota.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
There's a pet bed for seven hundred and fifty USL.
It's disgusting. That's disgusting. Okay, yeah, all right, here we go.
Here's a good one. And Alexandra Lewin game box. It's
a game box. It's a game box.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
So, like, what's the game they've got in there that
it's it looks it's that Chinese game.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
What's the one that what's the what I'm looking for?
Majong ma Jong?
Speaker 4 (25:54):
It's Marjong, So Majong Marjong game set. So it's got
like the counters in there. It's the one with the
triangles on either side.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
You ever played that one? Oh?
Speaker 4 (26:01):
You know, I've never played it, but I've seen it. Backgammon, Oh, backgammon.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Could just be backgammon. It could be it could be backgammon,
it could be majong. Anyway, that game on Marjong.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
This is in pounds actually, so I need to triple
the price when I read this out. So it's a
board game, it's a board game, custom design.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Get him a board game of his dreams.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Twelve dollars ninety five, bro board game? What's a board game?
Or twelve pounds ninety five? It's in pounds, sterling.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
I don't know what that means. That's pounds fourteen thousand pounds.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
You had jo so for probably about thirty thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Who buys this stuff? Who for a board game? Gone
by Monopoly, gone by Muno? Going by one hundred happy?
I would actually be disgusting.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Yeah you would, wouldn't you if she bought you a
fourteen thousand dollars mart close to divorce?
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Really?
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:54):
You don't understand me. You don't understand me. Now, quick
game of mars. I'm never going to get divorced. Can
I ask, though? Can I ask that please?
Speaker 4 (27:02):
If Mim bought you anything for fourteen thousand dollars, what
would you accept? Sorry, sorry, it's not fourteen, it's thirty
thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Doors oh, because fourteen there's an answer there.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Thirty What would you accept? Really hard, isn't it what's
your what's your answer? For fourteen thousand road bike loser?
And another shot woulds to win a million dollars And
it's easier this week. It just got easier. So as
(27:35):
you know, how did it get easier?
Speaker 2 (27:37):
I'm gonna cross this.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Well, you play the quiz every day with us, Right,
you can win a thousand.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Bucks if you get ten questions right. You're going with
the shot to win a million dollars.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Okay, this week it's repeat week, same quiz questions that
we've been doing.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Oh wow, you've been listening to. Can you go to
the podcast? Of course you can? Can you really?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Of course you can, and you'll get all the answers
to put the quizzes in the podcast, or just just listen.
Listen at five. I'm sure you listen every day at
this time. Do you remember the questions? Yeah, they are
the same questions this week.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
So Adam with a bigger shot to win a million bucks.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Yes, Maddie, you are the first person in repeat week
and you could be winning that million dollars.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
So good. That is. That's extraordinary. Locked and lighted, Locked
and lighted, she's got to do. It's extraordinary.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
That has got to do a quiz though, So this
is now for a chance to add another foul that
is going on a show that had no money. We
are cashed up to the eyeballs.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
That's awesome, I'm so saying, but she's so Maddie's playing
for one thousand dollars now, same rules as Australia's Easiest Quiz,
except we've doubled the time.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Are you ready ready? How many female prime ministers has
Australia had? Who is the lead singer of you two?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (28:51):
A soft seed cone at Machas will see you back?
How much?
Speaker 6 (28:57):
Ah?
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Thirty cents?
Speaker 4 (28:58):
Which talk show host gave away cars to her entire
studio audience Oprah?
Speaker 2 (29:04):
True or false? Tyra Banks was a victorious secret angel.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
From nine Sorry, Which pop star is dealing with fan
complaints over his concert staging at the moment Harry before
he focused on.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Acting The Rock was a professional in which sport.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
M boxing over the weekend, which mega couples sat courtside
at the basketballs The Cleveland Cavaliers took on the New
York Knicks.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
What's the name of the magazine? And the Devil Wes
Prid of movie.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Oh Elsa Padock is married to which superstar actors?
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Mads, I think I'm going to go through these not
much choice. Well, I think we'd all like to move on.
I play along, Okay.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
Lead singer of you two is Bono, So you're passed
on that one or bono, depending on who you speak to.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
How much does a cone setting you back these days?
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Why think the original advertising was for thirty cents? I
think it might be auple to fifty cents now, Oh
Jesus can be to it can be up to a
doll thirty thirty for a soft Yeah, I think you
can get the trimmings. Tyra Banks, you passed on the
true or false question. Now I had to. I had
to bring up your quiz technique, Maddie. But my old,
my old science teacher, you say, just have a cracking
and false fifty fifty. If you don't know the answer,
(30:28):
don't pass it was true. It was true, Tyra Banks,
victorious secret Andrew you knew.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
That with no I thought that was false.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
I did before he focused on acting. The Rock was
a professional, you said in boxing. Turns out of those
close wrestling wrestling not really wrestling, the fake wrestling WWE.
Travis Kelcey you got Runway magazine is the magazine from
the Devil.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
We was Prada.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Ah and Elsa Padocky is at marriage Chris Hempsworth.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
I think you got that right at the end there. Congratulations.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
So look, Maddie, at the end of the day, not
a thousand dollars, but you're still in the shot to
win a million bucks a pretty deal on over a
millionaire hot Seat weeknights from sixty and Channel ten. I
feel like I spent that's as long doing the corrections
I did the quiz there.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
It's worth it. I reckon it's worth it. We all
play along in the car, mate.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
We want to know the answers, including I sat there
and I was like, I want to know.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
If Tyra Banks is in the Victoria's Secret Oh stop it,
stop it. I want to know wood he knew that
Tyra Banks Victory's Secret model, didn't he? No, that's pea.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
No, you didn't know your passed your past Arion Titmas
is in the studio, which is just awesome.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
You're back.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
So I was just talking about swimming casually, right, So
you still hold the world record tournaments freestyle, is that right?
Speaker 9 (31:39):
Two hundred still?
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Yeah, unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
So you're the fastest woman on the planet over two
hundred meters. So when I go to the pool, ride like,
there's obviously a little bit of you know, you get there,
and I think it's the most amazing moment in terms
of like how you rate yourself when you get to
a public swimming pool because you're classed and there's no
one coming up to like anywhere else in your life
where they go like, well, I think you'll go there,
you'll go there, you go No, no, I reckon I
could do that.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
And you know, just it's this massive test of ego.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
And then there's nothing better than sort of getting to
the pool and looking at the lanes and going like, well,
he obviously wouldn't be there.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
You don't know what they're doing there, idiot can't wait.
And sometimes I'll do this.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
I'm not saying I'm a great swimmer, but I'm not
a bad swimmer. Sometimes I'll get in the lane that
the slow coach is in in the fast lane, and
I'll you know, just tap those.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Tap those feet to get him out of there. You know,
I'm fine to like wrong lane, dude, are you do
you do that?
Speaker 4 (32:28):
Because like if I was you, I would God, I'd
tap some feet in the pool.
Speaker 9 (32:34):
I go in the lane where there's the least swimmers.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
Obviously obviously because you know you're going to have to
tap feet at some stuff.
Speaker 9 (32:40):
Yeah, So I sometimes going the slow lane if no
one's in there.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
What Yeah, an in the slow lane, like you.
Speaker 9 (32:48):
Know, free water, let's water, of course.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (32:51):
But then you know what, Sometimes I get into, say
the fast lane, and there's someone in there. You know,
there's a really good swimmer, Like you can't categorize someone
like me in the slow, medium fast lanes.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
You're above it. If there was a world record lane,
you'd be.
Speaker 9 (33:07):
But it's unfair to compare Olympic swimmer, you know.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
But like, let's just have a little bit of fun
with it.
Speaker 10 (33:13):
I actually enjoy something those with those people because they're
really having a crack, Like I.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Can, guys, listen to it. I really getting out there.
Speaker 10 (33:26):
I will be honest. I don't swim now without fins.
I really am so average in the pool, like you
lose it so quickly. I wear fins because it makes
me still sit higher in the water. And sometimes I
do feel a little bit bad if I am passing
someone and they're coming off the turn. I'll just turn
and then dolphin kick under.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
The off.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
Wow, that is the arrogance again.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
I don't feet. I just swim underneath them like a
submarine past people on the turn, underneath them.
Speaker 10 (34:04):
I should be I think all of us swimming should
be able to do that.
Speaker 5 (34:09):
Have you Have you ever had a moment at the
pool then since retirement that someone's gone, you look a
lot like Arion Titmas.
Speaker 10 (34:15):
So I still do all my shoulder prehab before I
get in the pool because I'm so worried about my
shoulders going bus So I.
Speaker 9 (34:22):
Still do all of that. And there's no average.
Speaker 10 (34:25):
Swimmers standing on the side of the pool doing like
rotate a cuff thorough band and anyway. So I few
people recognize have recognized me when I do that and
have come up and then, But otherwise, you know, pretty incognito,
like I go in there with you know, just a
plane cap on, jump in snorkel on.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
Oh wow, you know where the Australia kit at all.
Speaker 10 (34:52):
But the most embarrassing part is Mac, my partner. He
hadn't swum since Grade ten, so sixteen years, and he
said let's go for I'll come for a swim with you.
Speaker 9 (35:02):
I think, you know, I need to go for a swim.
Good for the joints.
Speaker 10 (35:05):
And he's very good in the gym, very strong and powerful,
so he's very good over you know, the aerobic distances.
Speaker 9 (35:10):
And he said to me, let's do a race over fifty.
And I was like, yeah, like I can tell.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Him up here.
Speaker 9 (35:15):
He beat me. No, no, he beat me. I could
not believe it. He was fast. He went, I hadn't
swim sixteen years twenty eight seconds for fifty. That's it's
so bad.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Did you have something on the line for the bit pride?
Speaker 5 (35:31):
Yeah, no, yeah, surely that was the one thing that
you could have had over him.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Swimming was the one thing you've.
Speaker 9 (35:37):
Lost anyway, So he tells everyone.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Now, of course I don't blame the guy. Did you
take him out?
Speaker 4 (35:43):
Did you? Did you see if I lost that fifty meters,
I'd immediately beginning out and go all right, mate, let's
do two hundred four laps.
Speaker 10 (35:48):
No, but that's the thing he said. Take He was
complaining hours after, Oh my legs are so so I
was like, I did a fifty, mate.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Oh that's awesome. Thanks Arian, great to have you here.
Speaker 9 (36:00):
Thanks guys,
