Speaker 1 (00:10):
My Heart podcasts, hear More Kids podcasts, playlists and listen
live on the Free I heard app hates Willing. What
do you hope You're having a wonderful drive home? Not
every day you get a triple gold medalist on the show?
Woulds world champion fifty and one hundred meters and also
a friend of ours Brontie Campbell on Will and Woody
Welcome Brian.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Hello, well hello Woody, Nice to see you both.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Now we've held back on top of this chat in
the song because I really want to ask you about it.
The wedding, Yes, it looks epic. Where are you? Are
you in Venice? Is that where the photo is? That?
Is that where the photo is?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
No, the wedding was in Sydney.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Where's this? Where's this glorious job that you're on? That's
the age?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Where?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Where did where did Benfield propose to you?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
He did propose in Venice?

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay, that's the photo. I'm looking at it. God, that's
that's pretty hot. That's as hot as he goes. Surely,
Yeah it was.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
It was pretty special. We did a small ceremony in
Palm Beach with just my family, and then a week
later we did a larger reception with everyone, and we
made it a white party, so I wasn't the only
one in white, It was all of us. It was
very fun.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, so you're in a white dress and then everyone
else is in white as well?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Is it to make you obviously changed into some color
later so I could just stand out even more?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Nice? And I'm reading here there was a certain theme
to your bridal shower? Is that right? Oh? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Oh yeah, it was the it was the funeral of
my single life. So everyone was dressed in their most
kitchy black outfits, which was very silly. I mean, it's
especially silly because Benfield and I have been dating for
ten years, so I haven't been single for ten years.
But never let the truth get in the way of
a good theme.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Was there a eulogy? Did anyone give a eulogy at
the death of your single life? Brontie?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh? They should have. We didn't get that far.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
So were there, like?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Was there?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Like? It? It was funny?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
So there not.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Actually before my wedding, I'm not sure if my wife
knows this, but me and my groomsmen had a fire
ceremony where it was where it was kind of like
it was it was a kind of weeding to bring up.
But they brought up my my ex partner.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I don't know how much of this you're going to reveal.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
I brought up partners and it was like, they're done,
but it's also a good time to recognize them, which
I thought was a bit strange. The night before my wedding,
I loved.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
That is weird.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
It was.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
It was.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
It was a weird moment when we was like, the
night before my wedding, someone said, let's talk about your ex'es.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, it was enjoyable, but you know, after about ten hours,
I was like, ah, we are running out of people
to get through here. Now let's talk more about you, Brontio,
because I can talk Woody for the rest of the show.
That's my job. But you have got some really cool
stuff going on. Active where a brand new brand called
earth Leteca. So you guys can check this out earthletiquer

(02:53):
dot com if you on see Bronte's new gear. This
looks hip like, seriously cool. And as a person who
probably spent most of her teenage and adult life in
some form of tightly gripping clothing, I imagine you are
the absolute expert on what to make here.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'm so we're glad you love it because it is
only for women at the moment. But if you like
it already, will this is great news. We can send
you some. Yeah, it's very supportive, so I think you
would really like it. I think. But I'm so proud
of this. Earth Letica came out of a few things.
As you say, I've worn active where my whole life,
and when I first found out that most active wear

(03:30):
is made from one hundred percent new plastic, I was like,
surely there's a better alternative here, and I couldn't really
find it. The natural fibers that I tried, they either
didn't hold up for long enough, they deteriorated quickly, or
they'll get really soggy and sweaty during my big workout.
So we've started with recycled fibers and we keep innovating.

(03:51):
We're finding these really cool plant based elastanes that we're
weaving into fabric and seeing what we can do there.
So we make everything using recycled fabric first, and that's
that's really important because the bigger brands are seeing a
few things. Maybe they do one collection or like one
item out of fifty thousand and that doesn't really solve

(04:13):
the problem. You have to build it, like into your
supply chain from the ground up. And like the big companies,
I'm not necessarily having a go at them. They are
trying new technologies, but when their supply chain is so
big and unwieldy and entrenched, it's just really hard for
them to change the entire thing. Whereas us building it
from the ground up, it does make it a lot

(04:33):
easier for us to scale when we've built it into
our systems from the start.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
It's cool.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
It's amazing that you've got the Earthletica to wear now, Bronte,
because I imagine it started getting I mean, Matbe, you
tell me, is it weird to go down to the
beach in Sydney wearing your Australian kit when you want
to go for a swim.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I can safely say I've never done that.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I Mate, you wore it at the wedding. We know
you're like the outfit that you change into.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It was my green and gold swimmers. That's exactly what
I wore halfway through, just in case people didn't know
what I did for a living.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Here. It is congratulations on making something so cool so
accessible environmentally from the activewear in a world where everything
else is made with plastics, Well doome mate. Earthletica dot
com is where you can go and see Brondie Campbell's
brand new range of active where Brontie thanks for joining us.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Thank you so much.
