but Hillary Duff. If you don't know who Hillary Duff is,
by the way, she she was famous.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
For playing Lizzie McGuire time the girls. Outside of that,
Hillary Duff is huge.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Rights you've done anything else, So she's just hag, there's
your a there, but like there's your that's playing.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
She hasn't done anything since. She didn't do anything since
being Frizzy McGuire. That's her, that's that's her post Frizzy McGuire.
So she had a music career of her own.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yes, so that's her performing as Hillary Duff.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
What's the song called? Hey now imagine I don't know,
but she's doing A two or so and is that right? Yeah,
she's cheering Australia at the moment she's here. Oh sorry soon, So.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Everyone has been sitting there saying, wow, she's so huge.
She's just everywhere and no one is really has much
of an idea about it. She just feels like one
of those people that was a cultural phenomenon a long
time ago is kind of just hanging onto the coattails.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Of what she was. Sure, is that right, that's the vibe. Well,
we get nose from outside, but yeah, good.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
But I got a bit of Miley Cyrus about although
Marley Syrus had more post. Yeah yeah, yeah. Anyway, here
we are talking about her. And I didn't know this
about her because I don't follow her at all, but
she she doesn't get along well with her sister, Hailey Duff, Hillary,
Hillary and Hailey Duff. Sorrynny, they're very similar names.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Doesn't talk to her. They've had this long running feud
and she recently released a song.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
I don't think we're playing it a new one, but
it's called we Don't Talk and it's about her long
running feud with Hailey Duff. Cryptic title, right, yeah. But
so then in an interview, she revealed, like, yes, this
is about my painful, long running feud with my sister
Hailey Duff because audio.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Here we go the most lonely part of my existence.
It's not having my sister in my life at the moment.
But it's funny as a person that is this in
the world without my other half. So many people are
having that experience.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Oh wow, that is actually that's painful, that's awful. So
but the thing is giving you my tickets to go
on to Hillary.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Oh there you go, Smallsey's He'll be back on air
at seven pm, So tune in for that. The thing
about it, which unfortunately which frustrates me, is that Hillary
can't remember what the fight's about.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
With her sister.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
You're kidding, She's She's like, they asked her, like, why
are you in this feud with your sister Hailey?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
And she's like, I actually can't remember having the same
name having But I think it's that. And in my
head I was like, I reckon, whatever.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Hillary did to Haley must have been epic, Like it
must have been we all, you know, you do the
little pranks to get one over a sibling, yep, and
eventually you take it too far. Yes, So the way
that Hillary got Hailey must have been exceptional. It must
have been such a good prank. And it just got
me thinking because I love these stories. Thirteen one oh
sixty five is our number, yeap, what's the best one?
(03:38):
The best example of you getting one over a sibling,
the very very best we've all got them, or maybe
you're on the receiving end of it, the best way
a sibling got you.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yep. For me, I was on the receiving end of
some rippers from my brother. He was good when we
were young. Yeah, I would say modern age, like you
know your brother.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
He would have been a great inquisitor in Guantanamo Bay.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
No doubt, Like he's waterline torturing you as a child.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, so he can vince me. And this was this
would have lasted six months. He convinced me that there
was an AFL talent scout every single Thursday at the
local park.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
He was like, there's there's someone there, so if you
want to show on And it was my dream to
play AFL. So every single Thursday for six months, I'd
go to that park and not only like kick kick
goals down there, I'd do four hundreds.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I'd be down there doing push ups.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
I'd be doing gin ups and Toma b there going
there about that? Sorry, is that like he's guaranteed there's
going to be someone else in the park, And you
just would have talked yourself into the fact that any
random down of the park was the scout. It's a
really good break. Do you look back on that in
hindsight and think like bravo.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm still not over it. Six months of my life,
six months of my life.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
He's done more. I'll tell you about them up next.
But thirteen one oh sixty five, what's the best example
of getting one up on a sibling? Whether you were
the giver or the receiver?
Speaker 4 (05:08):
That out of context anyway, We'll take your calls right
up next on thirteen one oh sixty five did you
give or take a prank from your sibling?
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Let's go to lockey here on thirteen one and sixty five, lockie,
how did you get one up on the sibling?
Speaker 6 (05:25):
So over Christmas and all that, and then would give
us some money in the cards, and we would con
our little brother to say that coins were worth a
lot more than notes. So after after Christmas we'd open
our piggybank, give him about two dollars and get about
fifty one hundred bucks off him.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Is ah, that is a raw?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Did the guilt ever get to you and did you
did you give it back to him eventually or did
you did you never return it?
Speaker 7 (05:55):
Now?
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Did we ended up doing it every Birthday and Christmas
for about two three years, and then one day we
wanted to go up to the shops and buy a
new PlayStation and Dad said, where's all the money coming from?
And we got found out and he's got a lot
of trouble.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Let's go. Let's got to Jed here, I don't have
that expression again. I mean, you nearly got it out,
you nearly, Jed, you got one, Jed, what happened?
Speaker 8 (06:32):
It's not actually me, it's my dad and he's siblings.
So back in the islands, my my uncle had a
thing for this girl and then my dad swooped in
and took the girl off him, and that girl is
my mum.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Oh so how's that in Christmas? Jed?
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Sorry they still Christmas?
Speaker 8 (06:55):
Oh no, well we're here now, but he's still in
the island.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
So oh yes, that's fine. Yeah, it's fine. He took
he took his brother's girlfriend and then left.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Wow, And does he talk to his brother?
Speaker 8 (07:11):
Yeah? Yeah, it's still tight. But I think I think, yeah,
it would be awkward.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Sometimes that's awesome. It is very good. Jed. Michelle thirty
one and sixty five how'd you get one up on
your sibling.
Speaker 7 (07:22):
So I was a teenager and my brother kept eating
my snacks after school. So I got really peeed off
with him, and I got some fresh dog two from
outside put it in his bed at the end. So
at night he went in and only's feet got stuck
in the do.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Hang on.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
You just put yeah, And he didn't realize that he
didn't smell.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
He was no, it wasn't in his bedroom until nighttime.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah stunk like yeah, no, it's right at the end, you.
Speaker 8 (07:59):
Know, like plumped it up.
Speaker 7 (08:02):
In blankets on top your brother.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Mystifned realized he didn't realize, got in bed and then
got his feet stuck in the dog poo in his bed.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
That's extraordinary.
