series House That the Dragon is now streaming only on
HBO Max.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Okay, Hughsey, So pretty easy way to win ten thousand
bucks for people right now. All they have to do
is offer us something that is sentimental to them, yep.
And then if they allow us to throw that thing
in a fire, like a real fire, then they will
win ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Can they offer something that's sentimental to their ex partner
if they've just broken up with someone like my girlfriend
did back in nineteen ninety nine. She broke up and
she just burned everything was mine.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
And it clearly still hurts. There's some nice stuff there,
but you know, for.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
People that can't see you were to steer it off
into space thinking about that moment.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
But what would you.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
If you were to enter this competition right now? People
can thirteen one h six y five is the number
right now. In the lead is a guy called Noah
who's offered to give us his archery gear and his
archery jersey. And he won a gold medal in like
a trans Atlantic archery games. So all that stuff's hanging
up at his mum and dad's house, right He's willing

(02:02):
to throw that into a fire. What would you be
willing to throw into the fire. What is the most
sentimental thing to you in your house right now?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
The first time I sort of hosted or did the
opening of the Logis, I was given a pair of
boxer shorts with logis logis on the.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Side of it shorts. Yeah, boxer shorts.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
I still wear them underwear, but with logis on the side.
So sometimes I still wear them. And you know, I've
got the logo on my thigh.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
And I just gave you logis boxer shorts. They producer
of the logos. Yeah, I didn't get paid. It's pretty strange.
They gave you a pair of jocks. I've got two
pets absolutely different moves. Does your wife say you chuck
the logis on?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
She hasn't even know ede might create.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Okay, okay, Over to you guys, what is something that
is really sentimental to you? You think it's more sentimental
than some archery gear from Noah? We might choose you
and then you win ten thousand bucks if we chuck
it in a fire.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Should we take downy L before we go to a song?
Danny L? What do you want us to chuck in
the fire.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I've got my makeup kit here. I'm actually just looking
at it and I'm feeling I'm regretting it already.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Why is it sentimental to you? A makeup kit important?
It's important, isn't it.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Well, I'm a typical girl love for good makeup, and yeah,
it's just collected over years. I've got discontinued stuff for
stuff that like, oh, were you only wear on a
one time out? Like really high end bits.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
And bob okay, maybe to hear a female perspective, analyst, like,
how sentimental?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
How important is this your makeup?

Speaker 5 (03:36):
Kid?

Speaker 6 (03:36):
Makeup is like a girl's like I know, drum kit
for a boy? Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Don't take my body down.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Your sticks hit the things with the raw what's the
hide on the drums called? Does it something? It's a
name for the high pigs.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yes, yeah, it's all that technical stuff. Yeah, we'll google
it during the song ogon a big deal.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
And if I'm correct, Danielle, it'd be worth about two
thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Yes, but if my husband listening a thousand.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
He gets the benefit, so he should be happy with
whatever you spend. So my thirteen year old daughter won't
leave the house without half an hour of makeup on
the face. Yeah, I just got to paint it on.
She doesn't really, she's got really good skin anyway. I mean,
have a look at my skin and this. You know.
I don't use any makeup and still get through. Actually,
I have got some makeup on the bence. I was
on a TV show this afternoon. I kept the makeup on.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I thought you were looking good.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
All right, Okay, So currently in the lead, we have
got Noah's archery gear. He won a gold medal overseas
with his archery. His parents they've got this stuff on display.
Corey's called us on thirteen one sixty five. Corey, what
do you want us to check in the fire.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
Hido, fellas, I've got my taekwondo belts and I was
a bit younger, So throw on the fire.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Okay, we's got color they are.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
I've got the white, yellow, green, brown, and black black.
One's got my embroidered initials in it. Name.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
A black belt represents a lot of hard work, doesn't it.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
And have you got these these belts hanging somewhere in
your house?

Speaker 7 (05:18):
They're currently in a box at the minute, but they
will be hanging up eventually.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
And do you ever put the belt on just to
let people know you've still got it?

Speaker 7 (05:25):
I shouldn't, No, I do not.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Okay, have you ever really hurt someone using your taekwondo skills?

Speaker 7 (05:32):
Wouldn't?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
It's more defense, but yeah, it's a.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Yeah, just to know you've got those skills. I think
you can walk away from someone really insulting you because
you know you could hurt them.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
It's the best. That's the best. I know. I get it.
I get it.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Let's go to Jamie here. I'm thirty one six five Jamie.
What do you want to check in the fire? What's
sentimental to you?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Guys?

Speaker 8 (05:56):
I've just been sitting here and I'm st just wondering
if I've taken it too listening to everyone else's suggestions.
I'm really feeling like a bad mother. But yeah, not
my children, but their hair. The hair from both of
my first kid's haircuts. Obviously cried my eyes out when
that happens. Never will have her first haircut again, got

(06:18):
them in the little boxes. My baby's just still quite young.
They're only three and four. But yeah, well I don't
know if that's I'm good. Think maybe every pair it's
thinking I'm taking it too far.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
That's beautiful.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
But so you're you're at the hair dress just crying.

Speaker 8 (06:34):
Oh my god, I am so emotional. Please don't have
a goopy.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
I love my baby so much.

Speaker 8 (06:39):
Everything's been so so emotional to me. As the mother
obviously doesn't say so, of course I cry when she
got my daughter got her first haircut.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
When I was sweeping it, would you get them in ahead?

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Loge?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
What are you doing?

Speaker 8 (06:50):
There was no there was no sweeping. It was my
It was me sweeping it with my own hands, and
I kept it all.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Sorry, sorry that it's not just a little like clipping
you kept bundle.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
It's a minute to sandwich bag. Okay, all right, it's
a decent amount. It's on both of their hairs. And
now I'm thinking maybe I've been it too far.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
You haven't done it too far.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
I think it's a beautiful little tribute to your kids.
Did you keep your kids hair from their haircuts?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Wouldn't so? No?

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But now no, I can't remember. Okay, we get the hair.
I mean we were you know, we took photos new haircunt,
not a bag.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Not a bag's gone.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Let's fall on. I like the offer. It's obviously very
sentimental to her.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Johnny has caught on thirteen one sixty five, John, what
do you want to check in the fire?

Speaker 7 (07:41):
I'm thinking all my baby photos, like my entire baby
photo album of you or of your baby?

Speaker 2 (07:47):
No? Of me?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
God right, yeah, just a time before digital photos, so
there's not you haven't just printed them out that you
could still got on the phone. There wouldn't be your
own phone, your baby, have your own.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Self.

Speaker 7 (08:03):
I'm in my thirties before sling time.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
For Okay, what are your I mean, are your parents
still with u? John? I know they're gone now, okay,
so minor gone as well. So we're both orphans mates,
do you guys want to have a moment.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Okay, So Johnny, all right, so your photos and when's
the last time you looked at them?

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Like do you do? You do?

Speaker 7 (08:26):
You do?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
You open it up frequently?

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Now then we have a look.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
So they are sentimental and definitely that you don't really
you don't get You can get a wedding dress, you
can get your baby's hair, but you can't really get
your baby photos back.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
It's so much like raising your own existence. Yeah that's
that's full on.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah, that's full on. Okay, thanks so much, john We
need to decide us. So currently in the lead, we've
got the guy who's willing to burn his archery gear.
Out of all of those, what do you think if
any are more sentimental? We can keep with the archery.
But for you, what's the most sentimental thing we've been offered?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
That's a strong field, it really is. I mean your
black belt in taekwondough you children's hair. We know how
how loving that mum is.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I think burning their hair would be fun too, Like
if it's a whole bag of hair, like that's an
interesting smell.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I reckon that be fun photos either.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
It's really hard for me make this decision. I mean,
I'm not bringing I'm I'm just.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
A five fog, you know. I like I like watching
his cerm.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Mate, I like it.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
What do you see? Which one do you reckon?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
The hair or I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I reckon it's I reckon it's hair or baby photos?
Which one of those two someone happened? I really like
the baby photos.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
It is pretty I agree what you said, Hughes is
so true. It's like they're deleting the existence that they
ever were a baby. And he said his parents are
no longer with it, so it's like this is serious.
They wouldn't let it happen. My parents, my mom wouldn't
let it happen. There's only about three photos have taken
me as a child. Really, Yeah, I don't think I
was a very attractive child.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
But now that shocks we make that where we chucked me.
Hey John, we're choosing you, mate, air Thank you excited?
John's scared, mate. Yeah, oh you've been emotional about burning
the photos.

Speaker 8 (10:19):
Mate, doing funny things for money.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Certainly dospect that's the truth rather now right now though,
here's the usually on the show. There's a little secret
we call Battle of the gens where Will and I
battle against junior producer Analyse because she's a gen Z.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah, so what years of that?

Speaker 4 (10:40):
How?

Speaker 6 (10:41):
I'm born in two thousand, but I think it's nineteen
ninety seven to two thousand and eight or.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Nine or something.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
My youngest is one in two thousand and nine, So
he's not you.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
He might be je Jen because there is a chasm
between you two though, And that's really what I want
to play with, because usually it's Will and I that
play against Analyst to see who's most out of touch
with pop culture.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Will and I are millennials, but you are.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
You're a You're a gen X, You're an ex. Okay,
this is usually how it goes. Here's got some audio here.
We kind of just like throw things at each other
to see if you like, you know, the pop culture.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
And here was an example of that. And what is
this song? Got me?

Speaker 6 (11:23):
Bucket Man by Elton John.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
So you knew that I knew it was.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
It was Candle in the Wind and I knew it
was you know. He refashioned it further after Princess Diana passed.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Bang, here we go. Okay, this is going to be
a great competition.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
I was hosting a comedy night that the day she passed,
and now you sped up the show talking about it.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
It wasn't a good idea.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
It's trying to be funny, but Princess Diana, I was
hosting a comedy hosting Sunday afternoon hosting, and rather than just.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Like this is a comedy show, like, don't mention it,
you went straight and then did you manage to pivot
out of it?

Speaker 3 (12:07):
And I think I said, well, there's no joke. There
is and then everyone laughed and we moved on with
the show.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
That is pretty funny, okay, Husey, welcome to Battle of
the Gens. It's Will and Woodies. Okay.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
So I just thought, because there's such a big difference
between you Hughes and producer Au and aals, I'm just
gonna give you guys a quiz.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Because I'm a millennial, I'm in the middle. I know
it all right. I'm just so across pop culture.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
I'm down with the kids. I also know what the
oldies you're doing. Okay, this is stuff that I know
very well. This is popular for my generation now.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Names is buzzs okay, okay, Analys okay. So best of five.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
He is, don't get a point off, I'll get wrong. Uh,
that's a I don't have a question. No, sure, but
if you have a guess, the other person gets a
free hit obviously. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Okay, okay, okay, here we go. Question one, what is
this sound effect from? Oh huge? Yeah, something to do
with the Internet. You're going to give me a little
bit more. You're going to give me You really don't
know that?

Speaker 6 (13:33):
An Farmville from Facebook? Who Farmville?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
What's Farmville?

Speaker 6 (13:40):
It's like one of those games you can play on
you used to be able to play on Facebook back
in the early days, like i'd say, probably two thousand
and eight.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
No, it's definitely, no, it's not.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
It's not bad some huge, some male thing. You get
a mail, you get like emails.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
CLO, you're getting closest Yes, ms M zero points to
both of you. It's ms M messenger.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Oh was that right? No, you said m.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
You don't.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
You're both on zero. You're both on zero. You really don't.
You both don't know that MSN messenger? Did you really
use that?

Speaker 7 (14:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Fair enough used text? Okay, fair enough, okay, here we go.
Next one is quickly the Cold stepan podcast just they
want me going you're kidding? Can you put your phone down?
Currently on another show? Don't promote another show. Let's go
to a song. We're going to go to a I
mean he's live as well made all hang on, that's

(14:41):
the network, isn't it is? On the as I walked
in it is. He wants you just for a guest.
What are you gonna What are you going to say? Well,
you gotta fly into Sydney if you want me mate
to Analysa's gen z. She was born in the year
two thousand. Are you comfortable sharing what you were born?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Hre'sy.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Yes, it's just checking, mate, it's just checking nineteen seventy
at the end of seventy, the same year as my mom.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yes, what what monk was she October? Yeah, well she's
older than me.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Okay, so we got we got five questions here. We
had a shock before the song there, so we're starting again.
Five questions first to five. Okay, names is buzzers? Here
is the first question.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
This is iconic? What movie is this line from Sparta?
This is what sparks Sparta Spartacus. No, I don't know
you're kidding, an I want.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
To say Gladiator but only because it's your favorite movie.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
No, hang on, it was not about Sparta. I thought
it was gonna be Gladiator.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
That's why I went so confident. Then I was saying,
that's not No.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
We don't know. Jared Butler was the star of the movie.
The one, the hundred, the thousand, the million, something.

Speaker 9 (16:09):
Three hundred is zero, boy, close to your game. So
he said, yeah, well you are both still on nil
is extraordinary? Okay, perfect this, okay, this should be easy.
I feel like, Hughsey, you should definitely know this.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Analyse. I'm rotten for you. What was Bruce Willis trying
to blow up in the movie Armageddon.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Annals the World?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Huge? Yes, husey an asteroid correct, extraordinary movie? He was
why would why would he blowze a hero the world?

Speaker 6 (16:45):
It just made sense, Like it's like I knew it
was a planet.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Of some sort. It's not quite an extraordinary plot line.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
So the idea is that there's an asteroid heating for
Earth and he blows up the asteroids, so it splits in.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Half and missus Earth. Oh wow, effort, unbelievable, unbelievable. Okay, well,
thank him. Okay, here we go. Next question. Hugh's for you, Hugh,
he's on an alsa you are still yet to score.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Okay, next question, name three characters in the TV show
Game of Thrones.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Analyse Darius or something like that.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I don't know. I've had who's the dwarf? A dwarf,
I'm not sure A dwarf, I'm I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I'm not sure which you're referring to. Peter Dinklin, I'm
not sure which which one is.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
You're the one asking the question. You both know if
you if you can give me two more, use you
can give me two more You get the point.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
They all had questionable morals, and tell you some of
them the stuff they were doing with their family members crazy.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Right off.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
I never watched it, to be honest, I can't tell you.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Okay, but I can't remember that.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Okay, zero, Oh my god, Okay, So Husey is still
wonder love. I'm gonna say that it's now best of
three because you're both going so much worse than I
ever could have imagined.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Okay, here we go. What animal did Donnie Darko keep saying, Husy,
it was a flying animal, A flying animal. I love
that movie. That so great. A song in the movie
you know song. Great? Have you seen it? No, Donny Darko,

(18:48):
it's a treat for you. It's a great movie. Yes, Unfortunately,
even though you love the movie this oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, yeah, there's a line out which is amazing.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I can't remember the line. That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Anyway, you love the movie, but you clearly can't remember it.
It's a bunny never flies, mate, never Okay, still one
mill easter bunny as it get all those houses, it
just moves. Okay, So still one nil to Hughsey. It's
best of three. Okay, next one here? What game rageously popular?

(19:24):
What game was on the Nokia thirty three?

Speaker 6 (19:27):
Snake?

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Done it?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
She's done it? Outstanding? Okay, that was good. Okay. Follow
up to that? Follow up to that? What keys did
you use to control it the snake? Mm hmm two six, seven,
four the arrow keys? Yea, well no, there are no

(19:56):
arrow keys on the No. Three ten. So she was
she was on the right area. But it was like
watching Russell Crant a beautiful mind. Will is six.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
So Hughesy is here in this video with me and
right now, Hughsy, you're a man who gets in the news.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Yes, that is true. So I express myself. You express
yourself and you're just You're the kind of person that
people want to hear about. You're famous, You've got view
and I love it. I love it.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
But this radio show it doesn't get them in the news.
So we want to use you to get in the news.
This is Hughes gets us in the news. We go.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
It's from entertainment tonight, isn't it, Buddy oat bluddy.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Oath it is?

Speaker 1 (20:39):
So look, mate, me and the producers, we've come up
with these questions. Some of them might be received as
a bit nasty.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Or you might not enjoy. Yes, I've just got to Yes.
My wife gives me clear instructions on how to answer questions.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Okay, sure, that's not going to get us in the news.
I know if you can be a little bit controversial.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Just parameters I need to play within apparently you know.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
I get it. I get it, and I don't want
to get you in trouble tonight obviously. Okay. First question,
yea worst celeb pretty interview.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
It's got to be. I said I said this in
the jungle before I got to ask the jud It's
been asked, all rested.

Speaker 7 (21:18):
Is the.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Arrested Mass Singer as well.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Huse you have a problem that got rested so many
restings project that's still resting.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
A lot of shows. Getting a lot of rest isn't
good to see they were tired.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
So I'm gonna say Ben Steller, Ben Steller, I know,
I love Ben Stellar, I loved you know, he's tropic Thunderlander,
you know, meet the Foker's all shows. Yeah, but in person,
he just was maybe he was having a bad day.
It was him, I think it was Will Ferrell was

(21:52):
there was a group of them and he was just
a pain in the ass honestly, and maybe again it
was a bad day. But Ben Stiller, Yeah, I know
that's hard for people who love him to hear, but
it's my experience.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
So he was taking things too seriously. He's just being
I mean, I was trying to be funny. Maybe you
didn't find me funny.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
That's enough, man.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
He was on my show, so you know, to play
it on. But on the opposite that Will Ferrell is
the best bloke in the world.

Speaker 7 (22:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
I sat next to Will Ferrell at the Australian Open Ones.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah, I just sat down and looked to my left
is Will Ferrell and we got along with a house
on fire. He was going to interview Roger Federer on
court after the match, and he asked.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Me for tips. I said, you've got this, will you've
got this? And he did have it? He did, he did.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
Good.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
What a great tip you've got this?

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Okay, great, perfect, Given you've said that in the jungle,
that may not make a sense.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Yeah, I know. Avril Levane just would not look at us,
well me in particular, probably, I don't know, but just
come on.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Which celebrities didn't find us funny? I just didn't like
your jokes? Okay, all right, second question here, what is
the worst job of your career?

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Well, I was.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
You know, the worst drum I ever had was a
boring a hole in a backyard in Perth. So my
job was to bore a hole like by hand.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Yeah yeah, okay, you.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Know you're twisting. You know the Perth is full of sand.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yeah, yeah, you can.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
You don't need an electric equipment if you got strong. Yeah,
And so you had to like I had to twist
this like barrel around human drill, human drill. And by
the end of the day, both hands were just covered
in blood. For about a fifty bucks.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I got that. Yeah, so I was nearly died that day.
So yeah, not get that.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Cucumbers is tough too.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I feel for you, but I'm probably more going for
entertainment jobs he is using. I don't reckon anyone's going
to write an article about you entertainment job.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
So it's terrible. I've done some shockers. I've done a
lot of God, I wish I could look the mask singer.
When they made me dance, you know the worst thing.
They would say, you got to produce me. You get
up and dance, Get up and dance, and I'll get
up and dance. And they wouldn't even play it in
the show. They cut it all out. Why did you
make me dance when you're not going to play any

(24:08):
of it.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
I love the idea that producers go, let's get use
you the dance. That'll be good, and they see you
dance and go, God, cut that.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
We can't shut that made me dance week after week.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Okay, Okay, great, Okay, Now this one might get you
in trouble with your wife, but I hope not truly.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
We love Holly. Who is your hall pass? Look?

Speaker 3 (24:25):
I'd like to think it's Jessica Alba. You know, you
know Jessica Albert. Yeah. Yeah, and she's a billionaire apparently
like that. No, I didn't give up movies and took
up skin care or something. And she's a billionaire. So Jessica,
and she just recently got divorced, a single hot billionaire.

(24:46):
As much skin cream as you can ever want.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
That was a lot, husy.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I feel like at least ninety percent of Australia thinks
they can do a very good music.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Look, if I look, I got royalties every time someone
did a huge impersonation, I wouldn't be here, guys, I'd
be I'd be on my own islands. I'd be richer
than Gina Ryan Hart.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
I reckon Ryan Hard to do a good husey though, yeah,
no doubt, no doubt, because so this is I'm not
sure if you remember this huse you.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
But when Will and I were doing radio in Perth,
do you remember you over there? You do it? Thank
you mate, thank you coming over. It'll be okay, wasn't it? Yeah?
Absolutely yeah mate.

Speaker 7 (25:43):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
The top twenty sexiest radio hosts list came out and
I wasn't on the list, and I was offended by that.
So I went to go and call the publication that
did the list, and then while it was calling, I
just had this change of heart and I did a you.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
So I pretended to be you being angry about the
fact that you were seventh on the list.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Well, I should be happy now, but yeah, then I'm
like an angry.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
And effectively I was pretending to be you, furious about
the fact that I had come or come seventh in
this list.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Right.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
And then the story goes that the next day on
your radio show, they tried to call you back because
they genuinely thought it was you that left a message.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Do you remember this? Look, I don't remember. I can't remember.
My car's parked, Okay, So I approved that.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Obviously there was a stage there where I thought my
hughesy was pretty good. Yeah, but I just thought, right now,
given that you're here, you know, that's a big thing
that celebrities are doing, like lookalike contests. Yes, you know,
where it's like your rock up and you think you
look like a celebrity. I kind of want to do that,
But the audio version.

Speaker 9 (26:49):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
I mean, there was an AI at the moment where
I get arrested. I have not been arrested guys, So seriously, yeah,
absolutely yes. People are saying, I'm sorry you got arrested,
or go fund me ba Joe won to start one. Oh,
I don't then get me out of the jail even
I'm not in jail. So it's a great way to
make some cash. Actually I was just I mean, anyway,
it's cost a living crisis straight upor moves the way
it is.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Thirteen one oh six y five is our number? Can
you do a good husy? It doesn't have to be good,
just to have a go, have a go, have a
go doing a hughsy on thirteen one oh six five.
I'm going to say that the winner, the best one,
is going to get some movie tickets to go and
see super Girl from the DC universe. Of course, now,
aunt least you've been doing your acting classes, so I

(27:33):
feel like it's only fair that you can kick things with.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
It's very good.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
Come on, yes's Woodie, that's very good.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
That's not bad. I don't mind it.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
That's not bad.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
I don't mind.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
I think she's acting classes paying off. I think off
right now you're the winners. No one's called, so you're
the winner.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Guy that Dave hughes here. Good to be here, It's
good to be here, guys.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
I think you're probably I think that's pretty good.

Speaker 7 (28:02):
You know.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Dave Thornton is the big one.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yeah, he's always know, he's done it one recently of
me and then my in laws put in our family.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
What's that group in laws? Just pick your side.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Okay, thirteen one oh six y five is the number.
Have a go at doing Hughesy too. Hughesy the first
I saw.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Day thought years ago do it and the first time
I'd ever seen it happen. And he did such a
good job. He was a comedy competition and I was
actually headlining after all the competitors. Oh yeah, but I
didn't know he was going to do impersonation of me.
He was the last person on before I got on,
and honestly, it was so good that when I got on,
I get to see the look in people's eyes like
bring the fake guy back.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
You know.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
That was hard.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
All right, let's go to some callers here. These are
all people who think they do a pretty good Hughesy.
The best impersonation is going to get some tickets to
go and see Supergirl.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
We're going to start with Sam here, Hi, Sam, Hi,
how are you going? We are really good. I'm going
to say, just just crack into your huesy impersonation. Sam.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
Well, guys, you know like I'm the hottest one on
number seven. Then you know like it's me. You know,
I'm the funniest person around.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah, she's got the attitude right about it. Voice needs
a little bit of work.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Get on you having a crack. Let's go to Lewis. Now, Lewis,
let's go straight into your huge the impersonation.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
Oh it's dis here.

Speaker 8 (29:34):
I'm pretty funny as a comedian.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Everyone that tries to impersonate me, it's.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Really really, really bad.

Speaker 10 (29:43):
They you know, they've got to give me a dollar
at least, you know the prices of living lease.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Yes, so hard.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
He's got the opinions down, he got the desire to
get calsh syah. That's I think he's a clubhouse leader
right now.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Nice, nice Lewis, good stuff. You're in the laid world.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
And let's go to Harry. Now, Harry, crack straight into
your huge the impersonation.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
In every bloke, there's one chair in the house that's
just become d chair, not a dining chair. Not an
office chair, just you know, d chair.

Speaker 10 (30:18):
Every piece of clothing you've worn in the last fortnights
on it, the receipt for your gofund me to get
me out of jail when I'm not actually in jails
on it.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
It's not even dirty enough, but a wash. It's just
in witness protection.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Really.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah, look, I love I love the material. Actually, we're
all thinking about this chair, aren't we. It's got all
our stuff on it. There's a lot of chairs at
our house. I'd just like to say to my family,
the dining table is not a cupboard. Can you just
why does all our stuff on the dining table when
I have to first go get the food for dinner
and then come home and then clear the table.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
But you hit back with a complaint, Harry, I want
both husies just complaining about stuff.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
I have a complaint, Harry.

Speaker 10 (30:57):
My communication is key. No, actually, not timing is key.
Don't ask me what I'm thinking halfway through what I'm doing. Yeah,
I'm thinking about what I'm doing.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
It's a really good, really good point we've made together, Husy.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
I was perusing social media the other day, yeah, and
I noticed that it was it really was a herculean
effort from you. You had some skin cancers cut out,
five five skin cancers cut out, but then still honored
the gig that you had that night.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
I've got some audio of you here, Dad, what happened
to you?

Speaker 3 (31:45):
I had five skin cancers cut off?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Today? Where are you going? I'm going to cows for two.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
And a half hour drive away. I've got to gig
that at night, and the people need me. I've got
to be there. They need me. So I don't go,
they don't have fun and I don't get paid.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
That's it. That's the gig economy.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
That's not some cushy government job where you can have
four months off with that, you know, bruised.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Come on, guys. First question.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
What people don't see there is the fact that you're
you've got your top off on the street there.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
Yes, and you've forced your daughter.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
To fill you My fifteen year old daughter, she yeah,
I did force her to do that. And you know
what she learned about work ethic and how it pays
just to soldier on. And I want my children to
know that my wife's always that she's sick, she wants
to have a day off.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
No, no, you can be sick at school. I mean
the private school.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
I may not much it costs per day for her
to be sitting at home.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
They've got a sick babe exactly in there.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah, okay, someone else who needs to know this, Hughsy,
is my good friend Will. Yeah, so he's taken today.
He had yesterday off as well. Left you in the lurks.
He's left me in there. I mean I loved having
you in here, obviously, but it's just a little bit soft.
He's had two days off.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
So you don't get paid double do you get the
same day you've got, You've got right, and you got
to do all the work because I'm doing nothing.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
I'm finally going to put you to work here, Hughsey.
I'm gonna call Will. He's gonna hate this, obviously. He's
actually quite unwell.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
He won't be listening either, by the way, really, just
have the full time. I've had no care for the show.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Just who knows where he is?

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Just check out, just to quite listen to where the background. Yeah,
it could be a strip club, all right, let's call it.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
It could be anywhere.

Speaker 5 (33:26):
Your call could not be connected.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Please check I've been kidnapped.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Bibba A Hey, sorry, mate, I just had a really
quick question to ask you. Yeah, so we're so worried
about you. Man, So you're gonna be okay, You're gonna
go hopefully. Thankscuse you. It means the world. I mean it.
It sounds like you're on a line support system. Mate.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
I don't know. But anyway, I don't worry about that
all right. So the fact is, mate, we're just we
just feel we feel sad for you. You know why,
because you're away the way. Well, I was in this
very street over ten years or less than that. Whatever.
I never die off. I didn't have an a because
I was committed to the company. And you know what

(34:19):
they did in anyway, they sacked me. Anyway, I gotta die.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Off, have as many as have the rest of the
wake off. My just filling up.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
No, don't you have a lot of the dog off. Well,
don't you worry about you? Come back whenever you want to.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
We'll go back.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Just like I was like, I'm looking at.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Do you want you see? I know that? But then
I remembered thwelling, whey driving your home, hugh'sy, you'll be back.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Here tomorrow obviously, because Will's having the whole way off, I'm.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
