Speaker 3 (00:26):

Speaker 4 (00:27):
In twenty twenty six, Ash parties on the show. While
the AO is that it's it's gonna say zenith that's
very very holiday, very holiday, Will chats peak?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Would you say the AO is that it's peak right now,
it's the birth of the AO.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Tennis in Australia.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Tennis is the zen no doubt.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
But anyway is Grady back? Yes?

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Between twenty six Woods absolutely show if you can't do
it a little bit dusty.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's a little bit dusty.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
But things are about the heat up because I want to
talk about a playground fight. Will Yes, I think the
playground can get pretty heated. You've got your kids in
there with other people's kids. If you think your kid's
being treated poorly, or if someone's off the playground editor etiquette,
I think you can get pretty nasty.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
But right, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yeah, have you ever have you like, have you ever
seen a kid like take your kid's ball or something. Yeah,
it takes a lot for me not to get involved there.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
It gets nasty. You're just like.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
No, but if the little kid doesn't give the ball
back and just has happened to me before, I want
to step in there. Like I don't want to get
physical obviously, but like I want to make sure that
my daughter.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah, we're a pretty sheltered society. I think the playgrounds
is not as you know make it out. Like you know,
people like carrying weapons to playgrounds, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Or maybe you should anyway saying that to to don't
carry don't carry a weapon, playground, we're mucking around.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I'm just saying, like a playground, I've I've had, I
have nice experiences in place, spent a lot of time
playgrounds over summer.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Well, good for your good time, Well, good for you,
good time you're hanging out at the nice ones. Because
two mums they almost came to fisty CAFs because they
were having a little fight over how much time one
of the kids was on the swing.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Here's a bit of audio.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
This lady and her daughter were.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
But this lady who was well there.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Half an hour, there was no acknowledgment of sorry, it
would just be another ten minutes, or she just proceeded
to the technique.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Well she swung her daughter what an hour?

Speaker 7 (02:28):
Is that rude or is that just me?

Speaker 8 (02:30):
I found it incredibly rude.

Speaker 9 (02:31):
I was gobsmash.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I get that in the set. You know what I
hate about these videos? Why does it need to be
doing something in a.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Video these days?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Like what just can you just sit down and film yourself?
Now she's clearly doing a shopping or getting out of
the car. That's so dead to me. He stopped trying
to act like you're busy.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I know that. That's the bit. Yeah, I am walking
because you get it. It's just frustrating.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
You want to look casual, like Brad Pitt eating out
in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
We'll talk about but yeah, yeah, it's like Brad pit
eating in movies.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
You want to look like it looks like you're not prepared.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But what the whole thing is she would have bought
a whole bag of shopping just so she could film
the video. Anyway, what's worked?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
It's popping off online?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Is it really?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Now?

Speaker 1 (03:11):
What are your thoughts on her needing to wait half
an hour for someone on the swing?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Swings the best swings ticket, number one in the playground, obviously.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
The best thing for every kid.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah, sure, it's obviously the best thing's annoying when there's
another kid on there. No doubt, patience is a virtue, sure,
and good things come.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
To those who wait.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Interesting, So great point mate, great political answer.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I do find it hard when there's a kid next
to you who want Like, if there's a kid next
to us that wants to use the swing and they
stand next to the swing and wait, I'm always just like,
you know what, that's really good manners. You're not nagging
me or anything, so I'm just sure. I'm just like
you know, I'll just give you. Yeah, I'm probably on
for a few more minutes, and then I'll give it
to the other kid.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Whatever.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
It's a swing, So I get I get very stressed
as soon as someone is waiting for me to use
the thing that I'm using, I get very stressed.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You in the playground, or you and your daughter, by
the way, because.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
It can be me playground.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
You there actually frequent to sing it swing every now
and then, But right now, in thirteen one o six
y five, I want to know for you guys. I
don't know if there's just a me thing, but what's
the worst situation for someone to be waiting for you?
So like, I'll give you a few examples. When I
go and get frozen yogurt. Yes, and you know when
frozen yogat these days you do the self toppings. Yes.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I hate it when someone is behind me.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh so you mean when you're doing something and someone's
breathing down your neck?

Speaker 10 (04:32):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yes, one of the most stressful situations in a busy
car park and someone's got their indicator on and they
want your space.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You hate that.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
And I've just I've just sat down, I've just opened
my phone a few people to get back to.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I've reversed into a boulder before that, right, uh huh.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Busy car park, Yeah, I had a lot of them
over summation. Yeah, that's a shocking post. When you're shocking.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Post just talking of cars. Yeah, I hate when I'm
turning right.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah, you know when everyone's banked up behind you and
you're the one person who's trying that.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I mean, that's dangerous. Why because you want to do
them all a favor, Like I want to get out there.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, but I I want to do it, so turn
right there. There are good examples.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Thirteen one oh six five worse time for someone to
be waiting for you I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Know if you've been to the post office recently. You know,
when you're using the one pen.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Oh yeah, nightmare.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
You know when you're on a plane and you're waiting
for the toilet and you're like fine, all good or good,
like no one's behind me, as soon as there's someone
behind you before you've even got in there.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
That is my worst nightmare is in while you're on there. Well,
because if there's two of you out there, she or
he has seen you.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, you've made eyes. Yeah, and it's like, you know,
we're both waiting for the toilet. Yeah, and I am
now standing less than a meter away from you.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You better be quick, But do you never never see
them again? But I've got no like, in no situation
have that.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I always ask myself that one question, Am I ever
going to see this person again?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
You might?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
And the answer is no, And I don't care.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
It might be your wife, my wife, well, maybe it
might be your future boss.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
You never know.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Will let's go to me here on thirteen one oh
six five. Yeahst worst place for someone to be waiting for.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
You maya definitely in a public toilet if it's a
line and you need to you know, maybe do it
for food.

Speaker 10 (06:18):
And you've got a whole lot of.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
People waiting and it's definitely far.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
So do you do you like? Do you rush maya?
And and where are you cutting time?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
There?

Speaker 10 (06:31):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (06:32):
I literally if I need to know, I will hold that.
I will pull that back in and I'll get out
of there.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You don't even go and under the stress, you can't.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
If you rush, that's when it hides.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
That's it, you know, the stress, you don't relax, and
then you can't get it out.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
And then sometimes you're there for longer because if you're
at a party or in a public do you know
you've got to get it out?

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yeah. We actually we actually had a theory running through.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
I'll be interested to ask some of the will and
Woody wags this Actually that's the producers.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
So the girl that women listening to the show.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Were had a theory when we were we were at
a theory when we used to go to parties when
when I was younger with other women, like house parties,
that they would deliberately take longer when they weed, so
that when they did number two it was ambiguous as
to whether or not they were actually doing a one
or two. There any truth in that because every time
I feel like I've done something similar before, like I
try keep the same time, same.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Time, so if you're on a date, you always go
like two and a half minutes.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
And then if I'm on a date and hate to
get like two crude, but like it would be.

Speaker 8 (07:32):
Like if I needed to number two, tild there's.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
No, you're not putting on a date.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
How long do you think? How long do you think?
How long do you think until it's unambiguous like post
three minutes? Yeah, I think it's as soon as you're
more than three.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
That means that means when you're going to pooh, you're
on the clock.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah, but let's talk about this fair enough.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
We'll move on. Li Liz, Liz.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Had a date, Like.

Speaker 10 (08:08):
I'm still laughing.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Worst place for someone to wait for you, Liz.

Speaker 10 (08:12):
Oh the petrol station. Yeah right. It literally grinds my gears.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
If that car has just filled up and I can
see that person to the toilet taking it.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, we're back at the toilet. We're back at the toilet.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
If they're going, can I ask you still?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I'm always wondering, Liz, because I find if someone in
front of you knows that you're waiting for them. Do
you think they should fill up at the bowser and
then move their.

Speaker 10 (08:43):
Yeah, right right, Well that's what we do.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
You're a much better citizen than I am, Liz. You're
a much better citizen.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Liz.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
You're you're you're a much better citis than I You
have a dollar Holy moly, vauche, Liz.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
We love you.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Would you go to the toilet if someone.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Kelly six five key.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Always Kelly, Guys, it's the worst place for someone to
wait for you.

Speaker 10 (09:09):
Kelly, I definitely have to say. Going to the ATM
machine and you're sort of standing there, you're trying to
hide your pin number and make sure no one's looking
at you, and yeah, it's just a sue behind you
when you like you trying to not lock up your numbers,
and yeah, that's the word.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Do you what are you getting cash out for these days?

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Kelly?

Speaker 10 (09:27):
Because I like cash? Cash is king?

Speaker 2 (09:29):
What do you like about cash, Kelly? Do you like
the smell?

Speaker 3 (09:33):
No?

Speaker 10 (09:33):
I don't like the smell, but I like, you know,
to be able to physically see the money.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah, where do you put it? Kel On?

Speaker 3 (09:45):
We're going to do our twenty twenty six ins and outs.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Now, a lot of people are across this is just
you know what's in and what's out for you in
twenty twenty six. I think that's self explanatory. You've got
questions before you get into it.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Well, so it's a social media phenomenon, apparently ins.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
And it doesn't need to be. It's just what's in
and out for you in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
But apparently it's popping off on TikTok and all that. Sure,
I'm just a little bit confused. I understand the concept
of something coming in and something going out of your life.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
My question is do they need to be matched?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
So, like, is it like a substitution, Like, so is
it going like coming in is thongs?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Going out? Is runners? Like does it need to link up?

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Like do you need like a replacement or are the
inns totally separate to the out?

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Getting it totally separate to the outs?

Speaker 3 (10:26):
So you're overthinking it, mate, I.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Do that, Yeah, okay, So to say this is in
and then just leave it there and then we move
on to outs and they're completely different to the inns exactly.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
And we've qualified, we've qualified before analyse.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
It's not like this isn't like a it doesn't matter
about everyone else. You're not saying societal ins and outs.
It's just for you for this year. This is in
and out for me.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, it's just purely based on what you want.

Speaker 9 (10:52):
And sometimes I can have like influence from external factors.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
But and that's why.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Sometimes sometimes everyone can be a little bit similar, but
they're really personal and bespoke to you.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
So you're probably trying to think of something that is
a bit relatable so that everyone can like your gear.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
There's that content, mind, mate, there's that content. I can't
switsh that.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Off and then off. Try to spend six weeks doing it, mate,
couldn't do it. Couldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
I can't do it.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Meditates for three weeks, can't get out of it. Still
coming up in content with the monks and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
All right, let's shut up, all right, let's get into
So everyone's going to do one?

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Do one? Everyone's going to do right?

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Can I do it?

Speaker 3 (11:24):
In? Hit it far away? What's in for you? Twenty
twenty six.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Raw dog walks, Go for a walk, no music podcast.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
I'm still not getting that raw dog thing.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Your dog walk?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah, try I do it all the time, but yeah, great,
they're good.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
This is my sorry, sorry you putting yourself in the
that's my do you ev an in?

Speaker 6 (11:50):
Is this?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Are we doing?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
That? Is that all you've got?

Speaker 2 (11:54):
And I've got eight?

Speaker 3 (11:55):
That's fine, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
We can move it on in carabiners, just get more,
just if you can. I've got like.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Four carabiners on my backpack. Now just hang just hang
stuff off yourself.

Speaker 6 (12:04):

Speaker 1 (12:04):

Speaker 3 (12:24):
We are interested. We like inflicting brand.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Send us, send us onless.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
You can just buzz that inmate. You don't need to
type it in the screen.

Speaker 2 (12:31):

Speaker 3 (12:32):
I'm going to it anyway. So use your mouth. You
know what, want a bottles in?

Speaker 2 (12:35):

Speaker 10 (12:36):

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Oh wow here I didn't know that right on the line.
That yet using your mouth in in one hundred percent

Speaker 4 (13:18):
The saunas got out of I think they think they died, dingy,
I think they did die. I think all the very
silly people that bought those a little weird red in
for red ones and built them and put them in
their houses and made their studies very cozy.

Speaker 3 (13:30):

this was meant to be slap dash in and out,
but yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Okay, in for you.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
It is indicating.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
When was indicating out?

Speaker 3 (17:09):
That's just because it starts with.

Speaker 8 (17:12):
Nobody's indicating these days, it does.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Don't disagree with that, Denise, Sorry, don't disagree with that.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
I'm seeing a lot of indication out there.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I don't don't disagree with that at all. You know
where they don't do it roundabouts? Roundabouts? No indicating it
a roundabout.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
People change their mind halfway through and they just anyway.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Yeah, well, can I can want do you speak at
a time because I'm getting you in stereo here.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
That's fair, Denise, that's fair.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
First, showing back to another.

Speaker 6 (17:48):
Car, another car, but you'r drive show.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
A drive show.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Yes, people on the road, it's very good to yes
in honesty, bluntless getting the word out more.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Denise three fish sounds like a middle aged woman. The
worst drivers on the road.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
I was about to say out middle aged women behind
behind wheels shouldn't be allowed. They have nuts and they
don't care, particularly if they're like wealthy and they drive
a nice car.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
They're horrible people to bear around.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
They're often in four wheel drives. They see four wheel
drives sit it and they look down on us. Yes,
and they don't indicate and the tail Yes.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
You know.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
There was a horrible, horrible flood, horrible flood down in Lawn, Victoria.
But something that gave me a little bit of joy
out of that was that there was it was a
range drover that was out in the ocean.

Speaker 9 (18:36):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
I felt good about that, and I knew there'd be
some middle aged woman who was absolutely spitting chips about
her new car.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
In rain drovers in floods in doing that floods out
floods of course, out of course out. Why would anyone
want to.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Flood wealthy people having damaged cars in Yeah, something about
that would say, hail damage.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
That's a nice safe amount of damage.

Speaker 7 (18:57):
I'd say, what Elon Musk.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
Is also back, Well, he didn't go anywhere, and look
he said something pretty wild.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
I would love to share with you before we get
ash party on the show. Have a listener this.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Well, one like side recommendation I have is like, don't
worry about like squirreling money away for retirement in like
ten or twenty years.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
It wone matter. You won't need to save for retirement.
If any of the things that we've said are true,
saving for retirement will be irrelevant.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
It's just so out of touch.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Well, it's a wild thing for a trillionaire to say
to you that much. Don't worry about cash, guys, but
you don't even worry about it. I've got post of it.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Anyway, How could that possibly work, that you don't need
money for your retirement?

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Look, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
He's saying there's some technological thing that will be different
for everyone on the phone.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Money just won't be a thing.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
I think that's what he's saying.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
That's madness. Well, that's just madness.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
He's been right about a lot of things, and he's
been wrong about a lot of things, but he's been
right about a lot of things. So anyway, I just
found that was pretty Also, we were talking before about
how much money Elon Musk has. By the way, this
is when he was just a billionaire. I think there
was some statistic that I'm trying to remember what he's
uh Neil Degrass Tyson, who's an astrophysicist, he figured out

(20:19):
how much money he had and he said, if you
broke Elon Musk's fortune into one dollar bills, it would
have enough money to wrap around the Earth one hundred
and twenty seven times and then go to the moon
and back.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
That is wild And he now has.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Like twice as much money as that, So it's a
wild thing to say for a very rich guy. But
right now what I want to do is I was
actually fascin I was. I was thinking about this and
I was like, I wonder how many people, like how
much savings everyone has.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Okay, it's a strange question, very very very personal question, and.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
You'd never talk about it, and you'd never mentioned it.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
And I think we're all kind of sitting here after
hearing this from Elon Musk and it makes everyone go
a little bit like, oh, dreams.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Everyone got enough. Maybe I should't matter about saving anymore.
So call the number one. You're random, you're anonymous? Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello.
Do you have savings?

Speaker 10 (21:04):
I do. It's it's not very much there at the moment,
but it's kitting at twelve and a half thousand.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Okay, all right, thank you so much for the call.
Appreciate it. Calling number two.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
Hello, hell me?

Speaker 3 (21:20):

am twenty six years old. Okay, do you have savings?

Speaker 1 (21:26):

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Can I ask what your profession is?

Speaker 10 (21:29):
I work in the recruitment industry.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Okay, what are your savings? Calling number two?

Speaker 8 (21:35):
I have eighteen thousand dollars in my savings.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Some people feeling better about themselves, some people feeling a
lot worse about them So.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
You have a figure in your head that you're trying
to get to. Call on number two.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
The goal is a trip away.

Speaker 10 (21:49):
I'm aiming for at least twenty five to thirty to
book that in for a big.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Big Oh that that's a great place to spend your money.
Well done, Call on number two.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Call number three here.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Call number Three's following inl on Musk No need for savings.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Well, so I had this chat with a friend the
other day. It was pretty late in the ending.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
Sure, and they told me, like, you know, secretly they
didn't have any savings.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Sure, no one knows this, but I've got none. Yeah.
I just don't see the point in it.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
I love just living my life and don't really ever
want to own anything.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
And that's great for me, awesome.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
And I was like, wow, that's really cool that you've
just freed yourself of that.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
So and I think it's a generational thing as well.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
A lot did you pel gen zs walking into the
world going like, why the hell should I bother saving?
And you've got all these people who are going to
get their pensions, were already loaded up on all the property.
We're just expected me to work like a slave so
he can get up there, or I could just enjoy
myself all The number three has called call number three.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
How old are you hi?

Speaker 6 (22:41):
I'm fifty five tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Okay, And how much do you have in savings?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
I have just under five grand at the moment, it
was more, but it's taken a bit of a hit lately.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Somemer period, Christmas, et cetera.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
How does it make you feel about the call number
two twenty six he's got twenty whatever he had eighteen
grand or something.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
Yeah, that's good, Like I was up around that, so yeah,
that's really great at that age, they really need to
keep that going. That's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
I love that. So now you just now savings. Is
it a priority for you?

Speaker 10 (23:08):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
All right, So so you are saving for your retirement
and later in life, like you're not thinking about an
overseas trip little get away, little.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
Little Yeah, absolutely planning a trip overseas, but also for
long term as well.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah you said Tiki to Tiki two is what I mentioned.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
Tiki Torch calling him before. Hello, how old are you?

Speaker 6 (23:35):
I'm sixty eight.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
How much do you have in savings?

Speaker 6 (23:37):
And look in my general savings account about seven and
a half thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
We've got a lot more on superannuation and stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yeah, no, great, all right, thanks so much calling.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Are you unlocking that way?

Speaker 4 (23:49):
I'm lucky that probably in about the next six months.

Speaker 9 (23:51):
Let me tell.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
You what are you doing with this super first?

Speaker 6 (23:57):
So I'll be I'll be flush.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Oh mate, you'll be half of flush.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Wow. Hey, you never try it all holy moly about
your calling him before. Thanks for calling. Actually all of
you guys, you guys are corn holy MOUs. Go for it.
Have a great time tennis time.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Right now, we've got Ash party who joins us on
Will and Woody.

Speaker 8 (24:14):
Welcome Ash Heday fellows.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Thanks having me just talking about the tennis career quickly, Ash.
I mean, obviously you decided to step away when you
really were like at the peak, you know, number one
in the world, et cetera. And I read an article
recently saying that Arianne Titmas retired at again a relatively
young age, at twenty five.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
She reached out to you for some advice on her
a time. Is that Is that true?

Speaker 8 (24:39):
Yeah, it was late last year. Onie came over for
a coffee, and you know, it was just nice to
chat to her. I haven't hadn't seen her since Tokyo,
so it was nice to sort of just be able
to talk through her preparation and what she went through
in Paris as well. And yeah, I mean, she's an
incredible athlete, and I think you know now that she's retired,
it's a career that everyone absolutely deserves to celebrate because

(25:02):
you can an inspiration not just for young boys and
girls in the pool, but for young kids all over
the country. Just to see, you know, someone who's handled
themselves with with such great and also be able to
work really hard and be so driven and motivated to
achieve a goal was pretty impressive. So it's you know,
I've got nothing but good things to say about one.
She's a ricken person and yeah, now I'm excited for

(25:23):
her that she's moving into the next chapter in our life.
And yeah, hopefully she she goes.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Well.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
She also did that quite remarkable thing that you did
at the end of your career, which was this moment
where everyone was like, wow, you're You're amazing. You're the
best thing in the world. And speaking of selfish people,
made this incredibly selfish decision to go and enjoy yourself.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Really, you put it down, it selfish is a bad word.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
I mean it gets a dirty wrap these days because
I mean, really it's just you choosing you, which was
you know, on the from the outside, everyone's like, oh no,
please give me in tennis balls and say with Ariana Tidmas.
But she went out when she was on top, which
is did you talk about that at all?

Speaker 6 (25:59):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (25:59):
Yeah, I mean as a swimming fan I was. I
was like, oh, it's you know, it is a bit
of a bummer that you never get to see her
swim again. But I think what what's amazing is we
can celebrate the fact that we were able to witness
domination from her, We were able to witness her for
at the very best. And the old saying don't cry
because it's over, Smile because it happened, you know. And
I think from my point of viewing my career, I

(26:21):
smile because I had a lot of amazing, amazing moments
throughout my career, not just wins and losses, memories created.
So I've got nothing but happy memories from my playing career.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
That's so awesome. And so how do you feel with
the AO. Is there part of you that goes, oh gee,
that itch is there again? Or are you just so
happy to watch it?

Speaker 8 (26:41):
No, I'm happy to watch Honestly. I love sitting back.
I love this time of year. There's my little one
just saying gooday to everyone.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Can hear we can hear.

Speaker 8 (26:51):
We roll into the summer of Australia becomes just so
engrossed in tennis, and I love that. It's you know,
it's what I lived for twenty years. So it's really
nice to watch the fan the spectator and not have
this stress or the concern of having to perform.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Are you proud of whether women's games go too since
you left ASH or do you think there's still some
work to do there?

Speaker 8 (27:12):
No, I think it's in a really good place. I
think it's probably changed a little bit. You know, it's
super powerful now, and it's that first shot. It's just
so important and so dominant, you know, and Arena Sublanca
is at the absolute forefront of that. You know, she's
kind of set the bar and has had a chasing
pack at the moment. So I think it's pretty impressive
to see how her game is developed where she's sort

(27:33):
of leading everyone.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
It sounds like you've got your hands full over there,
So I won't keep you for much longer.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I just wanted to know.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
I mean, summer for everyone normally involves either cricket in
the backyard, tennis in the backyard, I mean golf as well.
You played all three sports professionally. Does everyone just run
away from you regardless of what you're playing?

Speaker 8 (27:50):
Whatever it is, the competitive juices they just start to
bubble up a little bit.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
With the little East.

Speaker 8 (27:59):
It's about, you know, getting it all. I mean, my
nieces and nephew. We've got six kids under ten, so
it's a lot of fun. And Mum and my sisters
and I were all just trying to hang on to
a bedtime.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
Are you enjoy I kin't of imagine Ash Bardy the mum.
Are you enjoying being in mymash?

Speaker 6 (28:13):
I love it.

Speaker 8 (28:14):
I feel like I was I was made for this.
You know, it's challenging, but it's so fulfilling and I
absolutely am just so grateful that I've got too happy
for the most part, healthy kids and yeah I get
to watch them grow, and yeah that my my whole
life is ahead of me and that Sunds. I'm really excited.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Ash.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Thanks so much for joining us on willing Woodye, it's
it's been absolute pleasure.

Speaker 8 (28:34):

Sheet's a key in twenty twenty radio.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
For this long, and you need a sheet for something
that's based. I can't help you, my friend.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
I'm held up. I'm held up by my sheet.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
All the producers are clapping.

Speaker 3 (29:23):

So look, they've asked me to ask you.

Speaker 2 (33:08):

Elimination by myself?

Speaker 4 (33:23):
I left by myself? But yeah, at least votes people
vote to say. I know people tried to save you.
Who was in the top six? Top I beat Pete?
Helly was seventh, and all I wanted was, how do
you know he wasn't contracted? That he gets to leave
by episode seven because he.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Had nowhere to be. I had dinner with him the
following night, had a couple of wines.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
So Pete.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Yeah, so Pete? I beat Pete?

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Who else is in there?

Speaker 2 (33:47):
I saw John the top five?

Speaker 3 (33:48):

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Okay, so then sorry Nathan from Jeordie Show. He was fifth,
and there was a double eviction the night after I left.

Speaker 2 (33:56):

Speaker 1 (33:57):
So Kenney beat me, which makes me angry for former
AFL player, by the way.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Former RFL player Adam Kearney fourth. Can't remember.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah, Harry Garside, No, Garshide was second, Liz Ellis was
the winner.

family to fly over.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yes, so true story.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
So the rules are there, btes good tomic, very good
good btes.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
So the top five get their families flown over. But
if in the end, because it's a really long flight,
me and and my daughter Remy got flown over to
South Africa. I got a victor. You're in the flight
business class. No, she was in business last.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Actually I was. I got a victored mid flight.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
But that was perfect because then I was actually able
to make the airports.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
I've been kicked it out. And then we had three
nights in South africaful.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Great question.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
When you in there, do you guys talk about each
other's contracts and how much you are each getting paid?

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Yeah, okay, a little bit. It starts coming.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Out and then some are you squirming on this? No?

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Yeah, because he squirming.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
Let's talk dollars because who's paid the most?

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Who was paid the most in your year? Hellia lough
that you know that. I love that, Pete said, but.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Helly, you are comfortable.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Well, he doesn't care though.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I played mine and and he played his down. And
then I was like, how much did you play yours down?
And a lot, a lot. I don't want to go
into specific numbers, but somebody, let's talk dollars and says
okay years ago. Now, okay, someone brought up between fifty
and sixty K and you said that's and I just jumped.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
In on that.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
I was like, and there was a bit of movement around,
like everyone's getting paid about that, And I was like, oh,
you wouldn't believe it.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Lo ANDLD I'm getting that too, unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Great, you actually probably got more. Yeah, we know that,
like how much? Come up? Come on, it's a few
years ago. Who cares?

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Because I went on k J as well, and the
first thing I just got how much range did you
get paid?

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Did you tell them a lie?

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Would you say you can't?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
I said, I got seventy five? So just creeping up?

Speaker 3 (36:14):
What do you yet?

Speaker 2 (36:15):
I can't. So your car now the way that it's
all structured, will you lose track of it? Wait?

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Over, a place of mine is one hundred because I
finished in the top six, which is quite impressive.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
I got more.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Parts of my one hundred and fifty less. Oh okay,
well that's probably good enough for everyone. There you go,
There you go, o run people satisfied with that? I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
There's your daily mouse story. Woody White Law got over
one hundred thousand dollars five years ago on off the press.
There you go, go, send it out, send it out?

Speaker 3 (36:48):
So what hell do you get? Then? Three? Four? Wow?
He not at everyone?

Speaker 2 (36:52):
I didn't say anything.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Good scoop from me? Great man deserves it. Mate.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Well he's a huge start.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
I don't think any of the questions that anywhere. Who's interesting?

Speaker 9 (37:04):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (37:05):
So you're going to wrap things up, I think.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
So I was trying to get to the caw. Is
that what you wanted to do?

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Watch you sent me this text meis this morning like
here the behind.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
She's got other questions. I just don't think they're as
good as that. Can you exercise in the camp?

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Who cares?

Speaker 1 (37:24):
There's a story about you asking to go exercise in
the camp?

Speaker 2 (37:27):
And the guy said, oh.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
So the doctors asked me to stop exercising because I
kept passing out and they were like, there's a fire,
You're going to fall in the fire.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
And then they started slipping electrolytes in my drink bottle?

Speaker 3 (37:40):
What drugging it? Well? Am I going told to put?
Are we going to do with these stories all week?

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Are we?

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (37:46):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (37:48):
From my experience, just woody stories from the jungle for
a long time ago.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
I reckon.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
So this week we'll do honestelebty to get me out here.
Next week Ninja Warrior behind the scenes secrets. Get a
bit of that, tales from the splash Zone. Get a
bit of that.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
In here with the drumstick woods because I've got some
AO Finals tickets to give away.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Is will and Woodies.

Speaker 8 (38:12):
Experience more with an AO twenty six gram class on
sale now starting from just thirty five dollars.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Backed by popular demand.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Well not actually popular demand.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
I suggested that I don't think this bit nailed it
last year, but if you guys were keen on it,
so we're doing it.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
I just like you being embarrassed. So you're very difficult
and you're bad at it.

Speaker 3 (38:34):
You know I'm not bad.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
You're not good. Very difficult, you're not. No one else
could do this, Yes they could. If you got Bob
Barker in here.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
What's the blinko ady two drammon?

Speaker 2 (38:46):
What's he going?

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Travark?

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Have you got Draving Barker in here or g Flip
in here? They would nail this. You're bad at no,
and I like laughing at you.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Let's tell everyone what it is first.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Sure, so Will has a it's just a single drumstick
you're going for you don't want to No, No, just
the one too hard. He's going to go on drums
basically make happy.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
So so Will has one drumstick.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
He's got all tennis ball canisters in front of him.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
You'll be playing those canisters official.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Official AO tennis ball canisters worth no expensive spirit here
just cracked him and sniffed him.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
If if you can tell us what song will is
beating on the balls and you win tickets to the
AO Final.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
Yes, I mean it's not people would pay for this
made it beat on the balls now, but this is
just this is AO Finals tickets to give away.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Here. Now, I am only drumming the melody. That's worth
pointing out. I'm not doing the drum beat.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
That's actually very important to point out.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Right, Yeah, do you know the different melody and beat?

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Well, you're just doing the song, you know, that's very computing.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
I'm doing this. I'm doing the melody.

Speaker 4 (39:52):
So generally speaking, in a pop song, that's what the
sing is singing.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Can you give me an example of a melody?

Speaker 4 (39:57):
So for example, I really said the song I'm about
to do. So for an example, the song we Will
Rock You, the melody would be were, well, well rock
you said that. That's the melody right, Largely we're doing
the singer's part, okay, carry Does that make sense to you?

Speaker 10 (40:12):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (40:13):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (40:14):
From the chorus.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
Here Kerry, first person to get it, gets himself a
double to go and see the AO the finals.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
Down at the alright here we go.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Have you rehearsed just the chorus?

Speaker 3 (40:25):
You have rehearsed? All right? Here we go. Sorry about
that little rattle at the end.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
That was amazing, So the rattle is not part of
it again?

Speaker 3 (40:41):
So carry? What do you think that is? Well? Carry
you guess.

Speaker 8 (40:46):
I'm gonna say wrecking Ball by Greg Carry.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
I'll play it again for your woods.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
M hm.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
Hm the end there get any better? Tommy, you know
what this is? Did that get any better? No?

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Lauren? Do you know what song it is? Or do
you want him to play it again?

Speaker 10 (41:09):
Played against? Please?

Speaker 3 (41:12):
I'm telling you go for it, go for it?

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
I think a safe bet is Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Taylor Swift, Samantha. Do you want to hear it again?
Or do you think you've got it?

Speaker 8 (41:32):
Hi?

Speaker 10 (41:33):
Guys were listening to your banter earlier.

Speaker 6 (41:35):
I think we're all set up for failure on this one.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
But go again?

Speaker 3 (41:42):
Can you turn this mic up? I think we just
need a bit more time.

Speaker 2 (41:45):
Blame the mis mate, well knows all the time.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Can you get that up?

Speaker 2 (41:49):
Musicians? Not you all right?

Speaker 3 (41:52):
Extracting me?

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Nice lord?

Speaker 6 (42:01):
My mother's back at list, my father's back at list
rides on this to go to the listen.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Listen, there is a chorus, is the course an nobody
know what this is. No one's got it.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
No one's got.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
One more time. Here we go A.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Nice you.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Bum bum bum bum bum.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Focus on the last three fos, on the last three notes.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
What I do at the end, the end?

Speaker 1 (42:31):
I went, yeah, bum bum bum bum bum boom bum
boom boom.

Speaker 10 (42:41):
I've got no idea.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Oh god, okay, carry.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
Oh we're back. We're just cycling. Throw.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
Can you give us a hint? Give us to give
us one hint? No hints?

Speaker 9 (42:51):
Here?

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Are you any closer?

Speaker 6 (42:53):
I'm not going to do it again.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
Okay, just reset the phones, new calls. Just get him in,
get him in. Here we go because people in their
cars are screaming it.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
I'm not sure if.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
We shouldn't do this.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
So the rattle is part of it.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
The rattle. I can't help the rattle. There's no ball
in there.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
I've got different numbers of balls in different candises to
get different sounds.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
You're a genius, mate, Carry Carry What do you?

Speaker 3 (43:35):
What do you?

Speaker 2 (43:37):
What do you think the song is?

Speaker 10 (43:38):
I think you should give me a colin.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
I agree with the Laurens called carry you're out. Lauren,
did you listen?

Speaker 6 (43:47):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (43:48):

Speaker 6 (43:51):

Speaker 5 (43:53):
Yeah, I cam Wow, it's a good bit.

Speaker 3 (44:03):

Speaker 6 (44:12):
What the hell's Lauren? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:15):

Speaker 2 (44:20):

Speaker 3 (44:23):

Speaker 2 (44:26):

Speaker 1 (44:28):

Speaker 3 (44:32):
