Mike White. We'll get to the Monday night game coming
up in a couple of seconds. I'll tell you what
my Carmen, Sir people tut to me every day and
they say to me, Jason, I got the sports question
for you, and I said, what is it? They can
I ask you? And I said, yeah, sure, sure, you
ask me. Guys. It's very I know, you start a

(01:07):
can to try to get a tip, should have a
walking tip jar with you. No the day, what would
they ask me this question? They say, hey, you tell
me it's yes, Um, what does it feel like to
win a national championship? And you know I have to
start and say, well, going back to two thousand and
three when Syracuse won the national title they beat Kansas.

(01:31):
I go back to that, and then their eyes glaze
over because these are all millennials. Man. They're like, I,
I don't know Carmelo Anthony, that guy? Is he in
the Hall of Fames? But I go, yeah, I can
tell stories about this guy. They don't. They don't get it,
and they got okay. But now I can say, oh,
how does it feel to win a national championship? I
can just tell him this, three dude, it was unthinkable.
Months ago. Times forgot what the hard twelve trasfer, the

(02:02):
country names in history and never be forgotten again. Tell Alan,
I don't understand anything that guy just said, but it
was so exciting, you know what? That was the guy
that wrote down so many notes about being forgotten, left out,
left behind. He goes, you know, if I say left
behind him, they think of Kirk Cameron and then it

(02:22):
goes down and they just think, I mean all of
these like phrases that he's trying to mix in. So
he has the call of calls like guess what just
say it it was slaves like the Antonio bonderis dealer,
no deal skid on SNL and he goes, I don't
know what's going on, but I am so excited. I mean,
but that, but that's exactly what it sounded like, like
just spit it out, man, Syracuse University, your two national

(02:48):
champions and soccer. They beat Indiana and penalties seven six,
Sherman Douglas with the game winner after Steve Alford missed
the previous ants for Indiana. And now I'm as even
as I can be. Swipe at it. I'm as even
as I can be for seven with Indiana. Now we

(03:08):
beat them in the sweet sixteen about six years ago. Okay,
but you combine that with beating them to win the
national championship in soccer like we did tonight. Yeah, okay,
now we're eating Indiana or even now can you get
I'm looking at the picture of the yeah, that's yeah.
The kids. I'm kind of up and down on the Yeah,
the the uniforms of orange with the blue stripes across.

(03:29):
I think, I think that's kind of cool. It is,
but I don't know. I don't mean if I lose
like forty pounds, like my doctor kind of admonished me
to do today, I might be able to fit in
one of those horizontals. It's the horizontal stripes I lose though,
I might be okay, the vertical stripes, I don't know.
But look, it's it's like shaming it into being in shape.
If you're a player, Okay, you're gonna Hey, you're gonna

(03:52):
wear the special uniform. What do you mean now, I
got a special one for you. But you are the
vertical stripe going up and down. Yeah, you want to
look in the team picture, don't you. You're sure as
he'll not getting out on the field, so you'll be
in the team picture. Nash six champions, and it was
so excited the World Cup. Man, I was, well, now
they get to tight shirt. I'm sorry about this. Syracuse
gets to replace Morocco now in the final four in

(04:14):
the World Cup. Jason, stop it. Now they replaced Morocco.
Now Morocco is the best story going. You're excited from
Morocco and tell you right now, Jason, they are literally
winning the World Cup. You are really excited, so pumped
for the game's two days, excited for oh you know
what's on wins? Yes? Yes? Who are they playing France?
Are you sure no? But I am excited to like.

(04:40):
I like the honesty though, are you sure not? You
are playing France? Are playing? Jason? This is literally the
World Cup game for myself in the pool because if
they win this win, yes, I clean up well because
I told you that the other day, said if you
need to get to the to the semifinals, win and

(05:00):
then it doesn't matter you win our pool here at
sports Radio. And then it left money to Bias presence.
Oh you kid, he's already got that money spent on
a keen wah farm. It's actually a tale farm as
a kale farm. Sorry, keene wa kale i one of
one of those things people were on on board with
the keene war keen. You can do a lot of
stump kale kale. I'd worry about walking into tight shirts backyard.

(05:22):
It would be like there's plants that could actually eat
you that back straight out of a little shop of
concerned about it was dentist, probably like two. I'd say
he had a good run. What happened to Jason Smith
show in my carpon selling was my harmon show. Jason
went to go as a tight shirt and went I
only went in his backyard and no one seen him since,
and the body's just gone. It was taunting him because

(05:44):
it was holding a big match, and when Jason went
to reach for it, hang on to fly trap, but
a big back trap. That's right, like like the end
of Finding Nemo, when the big fish comes up and
he eats them. National Champions, Syracuse, good for you, National Champions.
No chance in hell it goes anywhere near evening seven,

(06:06):
but it's gonna make you feel better today. It's I'm
gonna wear the crap out of National Championship gear for
Syracus and song. You want to send that guy some
notes on hunting. Do a more concise and emotional there.
Ampny Sinclair, who scored the game winning goal at t
name clearly Amphny doing it the hardaway by scoring in

(06:27):
penalties to win TJ and the congratulations to the outlets
who are stealing our Burman bit we've been doing for
years ten years, I know, but do you see him.
He scores the game winning goal and he runs with
his teams and he tries to take his shirt off
and he can't, and then he stopped, like I'm gonna
take my shirt and then you know, those things are

(06:48):
glued on man. Or maybe he had a buzzer like
Altuve and it was the leaning to get to the right,
to the right. Nash kick it to the left, kick
it to the maybe, but he's tried it, tries to
take it. I really don't feel like any I should
ever see another penalty kick unless the Croatian goalie is
in there, miss the look on his face and he

(07:11):
starts bouncing in the net. But yeah, here's seven six
penalty kicks to two in regulation National Chan. I had
the driving in because I had to come into work,
and my wife had the phone up to the TV
so I could listen so I could hear, and that
was that was pretty cool that that wasn't on any
of the satellite stations that were no you can pick

(07:31):
up from now. Well, the thing is because on the
satellite I had the football game, so I keep track
of it. So I'm like, all right, so I had that,
so I could you know what. There were a lot
of stoppages of play. It was like a soccer match.
The number of injuries in the first half, it just
it just started the third quarter just now, like literally
two minutes ago. Now, speaking of football, there's the Fox
Sports Radio Tail Game presented by the Big Green Egg.

Lifetime warranty, free home delivery, Big green egg dot com. Yes,
it has been an injury filled first half. We have
just started the second half. Kyler Murray leaves with a

(08:15):
very serious looking non contact injury in the first half. Scrambling,
he just plants his foot and his leg gives out.
He was carded off the field. Romandre Stevenson was hurt
as well in this game. He comes out. James Conner
was hurt in this game. He comes out. The Cardinals
leaded over New England thirteen to ten early in the
third quarter. Now, obviously, best thoughts to Kyler Murray. Hopefully

(08:38):
he comes back. It's not as serious. But look, it's
non contact. He goes down, he's carded off. Uh, the
Cardinals are four and eight, right, and this is how
big a deal this injury can be. We've told you
and and and you've seen the course of this year
that the relationship with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals is
kind of it in arm's length. Right, They gave him
the money, but you can tell still, are he and

(09:01):
the team on the same page. Are he and Cliff
Kingsbury on the same page at the end of the year.
Is Cliff Kingsbury gonna be there? Is Kyler Murray going
to be there? Because Murray with the contract is a rife,
uh candidate to say, hey, we can we can move
on from you. Somebody's gonna want a quarterback. We've tried it,
it's not working out. It's time for us to go
get somebody else and we can get a couple of

(09:22):
draft picks because clearly this wind now window for the
Cardinals is now kind of over. So now we have
to figure something else out as we go forward. So, yeah,
he was be I tell you Ben Belichick would be
a guy who would be huge on the Kyler Murray
train because he wants a mobile quarterback. He wants someone
that can make plays with his legs. That's what he wants.

(09:42):
This injury, now, depending how bad it is, can you
trade for Kyler Murray in the off season? Kid Belichick?
Trade for Kyler Murray the offset? Because you saw Mac
Jones tonight. It's another craptastic night for Mac Jones in
a season full of craptastic games. I mean, this injury
for Kyler Murray, Uh, you know affects more than just him. Hey,
hopefully he can come back and hopefully he's able to

(10:02):
get back soon and it's not that serious. But again,
going by what we've seen, if he's hurt and he
can't play, I mean, this is this is his future.
Because now you're talking about the ramifications of what the
Cardinals were doing the offseason. Would they bring back King?
All right? But didn't work? But maybe next year? Uh,
this is a this is a huge deal and could
have domino effect throughout the NFL. Well, I think got
both sides here. You've got pretty large stakes here, and

(10:25):
obviously for fantasy purposes, everybody had a little little bit
of a taste here. You and the Guillotine League with
Stevenson returning to action even in limited form, looks like
you'll survive, uh for another week. But on a larger scale,
you've got Steve Kim, You've got Kingsbury, You've got Guyler Murray,
all given new contracts. On the other side, you've got
Bill Belichick. At what point does Robert Kraft start looking

(10:48):
at things of a five hundred coach in the post
Brady era and say, you know what, we need to
start leaping forward as well, especially if say Brady were
to come, Like Brady's a whole other based on what
we watched yesterday and where he's at in this season.
Todd Bowles was supposed to be able to coach defense,
wasn't he defense never got on the field yesterday. That's

(11:11):
a whole other conversation that we'll we'll get into as
the show goes on. But with Kyler Murray certainly is
a guy that based on everything Belichick has said and
the glowing praise he's had for so many guys, including
Kyler Murray this week when not given all the shine
to Romandre Stephenson, who he loves more than anybody, but

(11:34):
I give him credit like as he's getting older, he's
being more effusive with the praise of players outside of punters,
which is good. It's it shows growth, but it's also
the what do you need? In with Mac Jones tonight,
and again it goes back to the offense, the little
war of words that Belichick had with Vance Joseph saying, well,
it's obvious the defensive guys they're to call in short

(11:55):
passes and run game or whatever, and Belichick came back on, yeah,
don't turn the all over trying to score some points.
That seems pretty elemental, which was my thought fans. Joseph
kind of walked right into it. But the depth average
depth of target in the first sixteen throws from Mac
Jones tonight, it was like two yards. He's just a guy.

(12:17):
How many times I have to say it, He's just
a guy. He's been just a guy. But he was
fortunate enough last year to be on a little bit
better team and with a bunch of new parts where
it took a while for teams to okay, what are
the Patriots trying to do? Now they've gotten used to
what they're trying to do, and now offensively they really
struggle because they have no real game breakers. They look,

(12:39):
as you said, Belichick loves Ramondre Stevens, and he got
hurt tonight a little bit. He came back in. But
Kevin Harris is having a night, scored a touchdown reception. Yeah,
Pierre Strong just had a big run for forty four yards.
So this is a team that just has a bunch
of guys. And if you're Mac Jones, you know he's
just a guy. He's been just a guy. He was
overhyped from the beginning. And this is why in the

(13:01):
off season, you know, the Patriots have to go big
game hunting at quarterback, but can't come back and say, oh,
we're gonna make it work. You really gonna say, Max,
our guy, We're gonna go and get a bunch of
receivers and more tight ends because you know the tight
ends we sign already haven't worked off course well. But
that's the larger point is that at some point you
gotta let someone else pick the groceries at the wide
receiver and tight end position because you suck. And as

(13:22):
I say that, they're they're moving the ball down into
the red zone. Short passes finally get to the outside.
But DeVante Parker, you've seen flashes of the guy he
could be. Now he's injured again tonight, but every now
and again you have one of those big plays down
the field with Hunter Henry. You would have thought, or
any of the tight ends against Arizona, who generally don't

(13:43):
bother to cover tight ends through the first thirteen weeks
of the season, that you'd see a little more, maybe
dynamic plays to get them involved. Haven't really seen that
much at all. Instead, we get another opportunity for the
great Nick folk. Be sure to catch live editions of

(14:27):
NFL to get to joining us now on the hotline,
No one Better, Odyssey, Washington Post, NFL insider extraordinaire. You
can follow him on Twitter at Jason Lock and Flora Jason,
who was working on a twenty thousand words story on
the national champion Syracuse Orange and soccer and how they
should just replace Morocco in the World Cup. Jay, what's happening? Yeah, Man,

(14:50):
when I was there, I think I covered maybe one
game for the Daily Orange, and I mean they would
play it like up at manly, like they were like
redheaded step child, like the men's soccer program, like it
was such an afterthought. And now, look, I'm an old man,
so it's been a long time and things tend to change.

(15:11):
But yeah, it's hard for me to get my head
around Syracuse as a soccer powerhouse. But that's that's a
beautiful thing. Yeah. Hey, at least Greg Burr Halter is
not the coach, so we're okay, We're okay, Okay, don't
don't even wind me up. He'd better not be the coach.
When I wake up tomorrow morning, there better be a
statement from US Soccer bur Alter rain. Now, let's get
it up. Burt Halter assigned to a five year all right, So, look,

(15:36):
we saw the big injury with Kyler Murray tonight and
look at the Cardinals this season. It wasn't go anywhere
there four at eight you saw the non contact injury.
How much does this affect his future as far as
the off season. Would he have been someone that would
have been a trade candidate or maybe now maybe isn't
because who knows how long his injury is gonna wind
up being. Would he still have been there? No? I

(15:56):
mean I think, Um, it's kind of it's it's kind
of Geo and Bear Holter esque. Um, yeah, the manager
will be gone and the player is going to stay.
Um whether he got hurt or didn't hurt or whatever. Um,
they're stuck like they're they're committed, man, Like they just
did that thing. The numbers are off the charts. And

(16:20):
I don't know anybody else who's you know, going to
watch the film and say, let me take that off
their hands, let me give them a whole bunch of
that and let me let me work with this. Um.
But I don't think Cliffs back. I don't think Cliffs
thinks will be back. Um, you know, Cliffs. People should
be exploring every college job with vigor. It doesn't matter
when they did an extension like Frank Rich and Chris

(16:42):
Browlard just got extensions, you know what I mean? Like
John Robinson just got an extension and he's out. Um,
it's it's not tenable. It's people aren't going to show
up for it. People aren't going to support it. It's
it's been an unmitigated disaster and he's not gonna change.
And like enough, it's broken. And I don't know obviously

(17:05):
what happened to Kailer if it's a you know, is
it a multiple ligaments for you know, tear. I don't know.
Is he gonna be ready for the start of camp
under that new coach? I don't know. Um, but that
franchise is really in no man's land, like it it
really is, you know, Um, when they're adding people like

(17:26):
DeAndre Hopkins and and and what you know, when they
should have been trading Chandler Jones at that time and
really trying to kind of reconfigure themselves rather than bringing
in guys who have a year tops maybe a couple
left in their prime. Um, it's not a very good roster.
They're perpetually suspect in the trenches. Um, yeah, it's it's

(17:53):
and I don't know what the next coach is gonna
look like and if they let Steve Kim hire another coach,
they're out of their minds. Like I I know that
the owner loves them, and it's great that you guys,
you know, a party in the suite together and hang
out and your boys and pull parties and let's throw
it up. But like it's a billion dollar, you know,
multibillion dollar franchise and people pay good money to support this.

(18:14):
And the general manager there's no reason he shouldn't have
been fired years ago. He shouldn't he should have been
fired after the d U I he should have been
fired after the Steve Wilkes tobaccle. You could come he
should have been fired after the Rose and like you
could come up with so many things where you're like
that should have been the end, Like and you let
him put together the Wilkes staff and that was a failure,

(18:34):
and then you let him run Wilkes out of there
like he was the problem. And then you let him
go out on a limb for this g Q model, right,
and we're gonna sell that now when he was trying
to get college coordinator jobs and you hired that staff
for him because he didn't know what the hell he
was doing. And that's a disaster. Like when is enough enough?

(18:58):
That's a question I've been asking for you. I'm glad
to hear the chorus jumping in, so it's getting louder. Uh. Look,
let's jump up to the afternoon game. Forty Niners roll
behind Purty, they lose Deebo Samuel Uh. It seems for
the well probably the rest of the regular season. Well
we saw, I mean, I thought Todd Bowles, coach defense,

(19:19):
it looked like Matt Matt Birdie was out there playing
against a bunch of scrubs on a pickup game. Yeah,
I mean the Bucks are They're not professional grade right now.
I don't know what they do. Well, it's it's hard
to say they have a discernible um like what are
their strengths, you know what I mean? Like, what are

(19:40):
their positives? I didn't sixteen and a half. I didn't
think they were going to get to ten, let alone
sixteen and a half points in that game, and they
were lucky that they didn't get shut out. They can't
run the ball, they can't throw the ball deep. All
they want to do, you know, seems like all left
which wants to do is throw the balls to the
running backs. But when you play a team with linebackers

(20:00):
like that, it ain't gonna work. Uh, defensively, especially once
the vita vea goes down, like I don't really know,
you know, the linebackers seem to have gotten old really quickly.
The secondary is so beat up. It's never really been
what they thought it was going to be. Um, they
don't make plays on the ball in the air. I

(20:21):
like Todd a lot. I think Todd Bowles is a
great defensive coordinator. Uh, he's uber conservative as a head coach,
and I think that overriding sort of vibe of playing
not to lose tends to seep into a team's culture
and they start to find ways to lose rather than
find ways to win. I mean, if you want to

(20:42):
talk about two people with completely disparate personalities, completely desperate
philosophies about football, completely disparate mentalities about how to how
to manage a football game, it's Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles.
But that's what you know, those are the two extremes
that they've gone to. Um, that team isn't built anymore
for the long term, justified. We so they're sort of

(21:03):
all in right there, like the Saints are, like the Rams,
they kind of have had these windows that they've been
trying to keep open with older quarterbacks. I know Breeze
hasn't been there for a minute, but they certainly mortgage
the future multiple times with him there, and it seems
like some of those credit card bills are coming do.
I don't know if ownership is going to be content
like they're gonna probably I guess, to win that division,

(21:25):
but I don't think they're gonna do anything in the playoffs,
and then there's gonna be some real decisions for ownership
to make about, um, who's a part of the future
and who's not. Brady is not going to be back.
I mean, I don't see any scenario where Brady's back there. Um. Yeah.
I it's a really tough watch right now. And they
look they look like a team that that don't know

(21:47):
who they are. They look like a team that we're
heading into Christmas and they have no idea what their
identity is. On the other side, I said Matt Purty,
thinking of the old Obviously it's Purty. Um. So even
all of the problems with the Tampa Bay side of things.
I mean, they may have found themselves a nice solution
to where maybe Tom Brady doesn't have San Francisco even

(22:09):
as a long distance dedication call anymore. Yeah, I mean,
Carl Shanahan is going to have some decisions to make. Um.
Garoppolo was playing his way back into an extension there,
but then he got hurt. And that's always the problem
with Garoppolo. She seems to be hurt most of the
time when you need him most. I don't know how

(22:30):
they can bank on Trey Lance and we'll have to
see about party. You know, they turn around and play
on like every every game's gonna matter here as you
can kind of try to sort through this. And obviously
to this point through the half he played in the
first week and then I guess what, he played a
little played into the third quarter in this game, and
then they yanked everybody because it was a blowout. So
we still haven't seen him through an entire full game.

(22:52):
But what we've seen of him has been I mean,
nothing short of masterful. You know, does that continue? Is
that who he is? Um? I don't know. There seems
to be a lot of clay to mold there though.
I don't know. Do they need a veteran in that
mix somewhere next year? Knowing that this kid is super
young and Trey Lance has barely played football. Do they

(23:15):
just trade Trey Lance for whatever they can get for him.
I don't know that. I think they're with that way
that team is constructed. I think you're gonna need a
veteran quarterback there of some um stature. Whether it's the
freaking goat or not, I guess remains to be seen.
But I mean, I'm actually working on a piece for
the Washington Post right now. Try to come up with
five teams that you think are a fit for Tom Brady,

(23:37):
like that they would want him and he would want
them back. I don't know that. I don't know that
there's two, and I had a hard time getting beyond three.
Where like because he's gonna be super selective, Like he's
gonna be super fickle, Like he ain't going to Carolina,
Ain't going to Atlanta, ain't going to Nashville, you know
what I mean, Like you ain't going to Indianapolis. Like
they gotta want him and need him, and he's got
to want them back. I don't know how many teams

(24:00):
there aren't no Jay. We talked about this last week,
and I feel like he is playing for his football
life the next few weeks. If he doesn't get a
tick up in production and show that I could still
be somewhat of the guy. There's gonna be teams you're
gonna say yes, sorry, there's like eleven quarterbacks we can
take in the first round of the draft this year.
I don't know that we're gonna go all in and

(24:21):
say yes, you're gonna bring us a victory. Like he's
playing for his NFL life. Yeah, I mean I I
think there's something to that. And and look, will he
come out in the first round of the playoffs and
have an epic Tom Brady game and then they lose
the next week. But it's like you could see that
there's and I think you tends to play like there's

(24:41):
no doubt in my mind he can still play. And
he's still for me, a top twelve quarterback in this league.
But like everything's got to be right around him obviously
at this stage of his career, and I don't know
how many teams are going to check all the boxes
that he wants checked and then they're gonna, you know,
He's also going to check all the boxes that they

(25:02):
want checked. I mean, I think it's San Francisco possibly.
I think it's Miami possibly. I think it's the Raiders maybe.
And then for me it's the field, and like, I
don't know how much of the field really makes sense.
He's on Twitter at Jason Locke and Flora that is

(25:22):
at Jason Locke and for Odyssey. Check out that piece
coming up on the Washington Post. That'll be a companion
piece to the Syracuse Soccer national title. Right, I'm talking
to the editors and I'm trying to effort sufficient space
to chronicle this, uh, for one of America's great newspapers.
Very guys, taking easybody. We'll talk to next there it

goes Jason lock and for we could talk about how
complicated other banks make it to adeem credit card rewards,
or we could talk about how we discover you can
redeem rewards for cashing any amount at anytime. I you
talk about amazing learn more discover dot com slash redeem
rewards terms, they do apply. Just real quick. You at
some of the teams that that Jason ran alof there
potentially for Brady, do you really think Miami would turn

(26:05):
the page on two and go to Brady after what
we've seen the last two weeks. Maybe we saw great
stuff up until the last two wens. But it's a
whole season, right, It's a whole season. But I mean,
people want to go to the last weeks. Of those
touchdowns came again to Baltimore. They all count, but there's
still you know, they're still they're still eight and five.
They're putting up a lot of points. He's had two
bad weeks, don Brady has had has he has? He

(26:27):
had two good weeks? I mean really, I think if
you go actually go overall with him, putting him in
that offense, I'll be I'll be okay with that. I
don't he complete. They get like one yard per completion
Brady the last few weeks. I think one the big
thing with Miami right now, you gotta banged up offensive line.
So that wouldn't be much better than than what Brady

(26:47):
has been working behind. The better better than Derek Carr,
I mean, would be better. Car might have played himself
out though without interception. There's a lot of people with
the pitchforks and uh people have a slings of blaze
up there for Derek Carr right now. After that game,
I mean, you got Brady just is not dying. Teams
just not scoring. Dude, lost to score? Why what didn't

(27:09):
I tell you? If I've been saying it for a month,
I keep waiting for this to get stolen. They're just
a slightly better version than Denver. Twitter and how about
a Fresca. Mike gets, well, hey, we're better than Denver.
That should be that legitimately slight are top ten better
than today. They got absolutely waxed, So I mean that
that changes. At least we're not but they but the

(27:30):
offense was scoring what they've gone over twenty two points
once in the season. Be sure to catch live editions

the tirect on com studios. Do you ask for holidays?
I did? I asked for holiday music and tie shirts
putting together angry matchups. Hey, remember that guy was talking
about before he made play Patriots lead of the Cardinals
right now thirteen early in the fourth quarter, they are

(28:11):
inside the ten yard line looking to add to the
seven point lead. Kyler Murray out with a really devastating
looking knee injury. Will have more on this game coming
up in a few minutes. As the Patriots are in
the end zone again. So it looks like this lead
is gonna go to ever flag on the play and
it's off sides on the Cardinals. It's going to be

(28:32):
a touchdown extra point pending, making a two score lead
for the Patriots. But another quarterback and this is where
I'm gonna zig, where you think I'm gonna zag. I
loved seeing the guts and stamina coming back after devastating hits,
many of them at the hands of beat Violano and

(28:53):
the rest of the Bills. Yesterday felt like it was
club or lane going. I got a lot of let's
go and the thing Mike White was getting hits so
hard and so legally, I couldn't even get that he's
gonna break him to see like one. It was terrible. Uh,

(29:18):
Gado cut the guy in half. The Jets loser, Frankie munits,
the Jets lose to the Bills, and and Mike White's
injury a very big story the Jets get good news
on him. They expect him to play this weekends the
suddenly red hot Lions. Now here's Rice Zig instead of
Zag Because you know how much I love Mike White
and he's brought all kinds of energy to the team.

(29:39):
His teammates love him. You don't get any tougher than that.
And come back out to play that game and they
still nearly pulled off the wind. But they beat the spreads.
That was sure. They did. They did, they did. But
here's the thing. I love him, but he is I
love him. But Mike White is a band aid to

(30:02):
save the season. That's what he is. Is he like
I like to say that is a band aid to
save the season. Every no, no, I can the first
bit of up. No. I'm just telling you reality. They
have said save the season. And the Jets offense the
last two weeks has been terrible. Now, all I gonna

(30:24):
do is get in the end zone one more time again,
one time against the Vikings and they win. They don't
just don't fumble, don't turn the ball. They couldn't do it.
The offense has been bad, and yes, the Bill's defense
is pretty good, but you gotta be able to put
the ball in the ends on the Vikings past defense
is terrible. You couldn't get in the endze you hold.
I know that offense has disappeared. And it's the second

(30:45):
straight game where the defense because the Jets defense is
now one of the top five defenses in the NFL.
It's not even debatable. Is it as good as the
Broncos or the Niners. No, but it's right there, just
below that. They're not anywhere right NOWMB three through five.
They are just that good. And it's another game where
the offense has let down the defense. This is going
to be Yes, stick with Mike White the rest of

(31:07):
the way. See if he can say the season because
the Jets arrived a year early, they weren't expected to
be this competitive this early, but they are because their
defense came together in a large way. But you watch,
trust me, I'll tell you exactly what's gonna happen in
the off season. The New York Jets are going to
go over the top and all out for a new
quarterback because this is a team that believes in rightfully.

(31:28):
So we can be a championship team if we can
get somebody to put some bleeping points on the board.
We have a great offering. Guys keep getting hurt. The
offensive line still got a good offensive line. We have
the weapons we need at wide receiver, yes, the weapons
running back. Yes, we need a quarterback. It's all they need.
They have everything else. They're the defensive backs of the
defensive line. They have everything else. The pressure to get

(31:49):
a quarterback will be so immense and everybody is going
to be on the table for them. The Jets will
be linked with everyone, Derek Carr, They'll be linked with
Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Ryan Tanne, They'll be linked with
everyone because they will have no choice and the pressure
will be so much. Joe Douglas is gonna have to
go get a quarterback because you can't go back to
Zack Wilson. He's clearly shown he's not the guy. Can

(32:10):
you trust that Mike White is gonna be able to
do They're gonna go all. They're gonna be linked with
every quarterback in the off season, and they're gonna get
a big one because they have no choice. Yeah, it's
it's certainly the one year where you may have seven
or eight veteran quarterbacks that are available. Right either let
go entirely, so free agency and what are you willing

(32:30):
to spend versus situations like Lamar Jackson And we've talked
about quite a bit. Is he a guy destined for
the franchise tag? So would Baltimore take picks in exchange?
Now trading him in conference but not within the division.
Maybe they like Tyler Huntley enough to move on. Who
knows they got that big Wayne over Pittsburgh. But certainly, uh,

(32:53):
the wheels will be spinning. Can't wait telling you They'll
be linked with Everybody'll be the superstar. More Big NFL
