Sports Radio. I told you, I told you. Oh what
did you tell us? Jason? What did you tell us?
What do you think he told us? Come on, man,
I'm not listening to you. There's nobody out, Mike. What
do you think it is? Think? I mean? Maybe it
was a little bit about Machado actually signing that contract

(00:48):
should have been on the greatness. No, that is well
me and your recognition of that after low these many years. No, no, no, no,
none of that, all of that, none of that. No.
I told you and you said it, Come on, what
do you think it is? Maybe the Mats played earlier today.

(01:08):
The good they did they did that was on really early.
This U together with it. It gets guys and girls
and we're gonna hook up in cabins and we're gonna
drink and we're gonna smoke, and it's this is what
we do. This is what we do. Old man, Come
on you, what what are you trying to tell me?
What are you trying to tell me? Stay? Stay? That's

(01:30):
my favorite party. Come on, tight shirts. We live dropped
Monday for that. Duh. I told you. I warned that
Brady was going to be a stand up comic. I
said it. I said, it's happening, and you said, come on, man,
it's not. I told you. I said, I know, but

(01:50):
trust me, it's happening. They're coming, and your doll, they're not.
They're not going. What do you say? Carson Wentz is
gonna be a jam. He's never gonna play again. Nodson
went to the Jets. I told you. I told you
they were I told you, and it's nah. Come on,
old man, you've been working at this gast time. What
is the guy in the hockey mask come up and

(02:11):
buy cigarettes from you? Come on, man, nobody buys cigarettes anymore?
Was he vaping? Is he might even sell vape sticks?
Come on, I mean, we don't do this. All right,
go into the woods and go there with your own risk.
But I warned you. I told you what was gonna happen.
Don't come out of here tomorrow night and go, oh
everybody's all bloody and the missing Oh my god, it's

(02:32):
like they all went into it with cocaine bear. Oh
my god, I can't. But don't come out side and
you're trying to disrespect the cocaine bear. Don't come out
here and say I didn't warn you, but I told you.
I told you the Knicks. What do you think it is, Mike,
that the heat are really coming from off the I
just said, I just told you what it was. I

(02:53):
told you that nobody heard you. I have no idea
what it was. We missed that part. So don't can't
gas light me. Okay, I'm the original gas lighter. You
can't gas light me. I told you the Knicks, the
who out watch out for who? And look at they
came tonight for the Celtics and they walked away. One

(03:15):
nine ninety four a complete demolition. Jason Tatum so upset
Julius Randall got him injected with an incredible pass. He
starts yelling at the reff. The reff goes, you're gone.
Josh Hard is saying, yeah, that's right, you're gone. I
told you about the Knicks. I told you they were coming.
They're here. Watch out, I told you. I told you.

(03:37):
I'm just saying, not off you get teed up after dunking,
I told you. But you know, hey, that's when you're
when you're getting the home cooking like the Knicks did tonight.
I mean, that's the way things you're gonna work. M
I told you, I said it. I said, watch out there,
copy here they are. Look at where they're looking at
what you were saying that in September. You were saying
that all off season. No no excited about the Knicks

(03:58):
and blah blah blah. Eventually you're gonna be right right
around the trade deadline. I told you, this is when
it's happening. They had a big loss, and Jalen Brunson said,
you know what, We're fine. Jalen Brunts maybe one of
the greatest free agent signings ever already, um in any sport,
I mean, in the history. And there was no penalty
for tampering. No, no, no, it doesn't matter. What would

(04:18):
it worth it? If it would it be worth it,
of course, be worth to pay whatever it is for
Jalen Brunson, I taught what The Knicks have figured it out.
Not that going to get Heart was this was the
big thing. But he certainly has become a pretty good
guy off the bench. Wheat guy. He was a good get.
The Knicks have figured it out. Watch out here they come.

(04:38):
They just demolished the Celtics tonight. And if you want
to go by the the laws of of what is
it not the laws of transpondency? Not transparency? What's the
laws of? What? What is it when? When? If if X,
if X beats? Why and why beats? What is that
called the what's that? No, it's not the laws of Dolin.
He doesn't even know what's going on. He didn't know.
The Knicks are still playing right now. He this is

(05:00):
the season is still going. I don't know if we
play in February. I don't know what's at the law?
What is that? The law if A beats B and
the B is greater than see? What is that? What
is that? The law of one? Harmon? Come on, you
went to Northwestern, it's allegedly a good school. You got
to know the answer of this. Wow, look at you,
what's the answer? You know? What what's at the law?
Properties there? You go look at that. Wild are the

(05:20):
properties of equality? Whatever you want to do. Nick's beat
the best team in the East. Nick's are the best
team in the East. To I'm looking at it right now. No, hey,
you can have it tonight as we get ready to
round out the month of February. February want to feel

(05:41):
good about yourself? You feel good about yourself? Yes, I
feel Look at this, Look at this. Come on, We're
the We're the second hottest team in the NBA right now.
Come on, I mean just because you know the Bucks
have one like eighty five games in a row. But
look look at where we are right now. Come on, man,
we just we just demolished the Celtics at Jason Tatum.
This could be as good as it gets. I get it.

(06:02):
But here they come, last ten, they come here. The
card has been a nice addition as a glue guy,
quickly giving you good points off the bench. Julius Randall
much better player than I think he's been given credit
for him. Last year he stunk, He went and found whatever.
He kind of went to the Draymond Green School of

(06:23):
all right. Someone in my life, behind the scenes had
to tell me I sucked and I had to get
right again. For Draymond it was kids. I don't know
who Julius attributes that too, but there's got to be
somebody there. And Jalen Brunts has been fantastic. That Acidine
kick call that took ten minutes to review, I mean
the Celtic, but the Celtics look like they might have

(06:43):
had a little life in him and that killed any anything.
So that was awful. That was That might have been
the longest review. You want to make sure they get
it right. Sometimes they strong. They still got it wrong.
They called the fall and then they assess him a
technical fall for following through and kicking. It's like, what

(07:05):
if the fall happens? None of that ever ever occurs? Right, Well,
there's lots of different look bunch of different No, no,
you gotta there's lots of different things they have to
look at. There's like the sheer combination of things they
need to look at for a replay. Hey, Celtics are
getting their stuff together and getting ready to make a run.
That stretched this one out, yea, and everyone knicks player

(07:26):
went over there and went and complained the officials and
at no point did they back anybody off, because they
don't get the hell out of here. We're trying to
be efficient here. Nope, just keep dragging on. They might
as well go into a full commercial break. That thing
was so long that you're just lucky. Larry Bird has
a hurt back. Okay, oh yeah, that's true, Larry. He
might have hit some three tonight. And what happened Jason
Tann was terrible. Don't mean that six of eighteen the

(07:51):
field one of nine did have seven boards, nine assists
to go this fourteen boys, but he was minus eighteen
four turnovers. You had the technical fall on the hunk
and then the second one, and then they were trying
to get him called for a third one as he
walked off the court because he had some extra spicy
language for the official, which as you brought it out,
all the backups for the Knicks were all excited about

(08:12):
Julius Randold got him ejected. It just got ejected. Next, Yo,
we're live for the tirect dot Com studios. Tirac dot
com will help you get there an unmatched selection, fast
free shipping, free road has your protection. Over ten thousand
recommended installers. Ti irac dot com the way tire buying
should be. Now you do it all that way, and
you gave no love to Mitchell Robinson. Shows what kind

(08:33):
of fan you are. Well like front run in box
score ree, I like Mitchell Robinson. He'll be nice when
he's in for the next you know, three weeks, and
then he's gonna get hurt again. That's what happens to
Mitchell Robinson. That's what he does. It's like the importance
of all those guys that came over for the for
the Lakers, and you know Frostburg Maju to tweet and
text at me fourteen times, that guy with the Jades

(08:55):
that they're back. Now, I'm glad you bring that up
because the other big NBA story of the day, clearly
the Knick story, is stop, don't general Vanderbilt had the
huge game? Yes, because I'm giving all credit to the
secondary guys today. Yeah, No, I look not even you
could make that happen by putting Carson Wentz the Jets

(09:15):
in the in the astut there. Say it as much
as you want to, there's no way that's happening that shop. Yeah,
look how good he looked Carson Wentwee say it any,
say as many times as you want to. It's not happening.
I'll say it, Carson, what's to the Jets? Carson, what's
the Jets not happening? Say one more time in your mirror, Carson,

(09:37):
went to the Jets. Not happening, not happen, It's not happening.
I'm sorry, say it as many times you are. You
are just it's like it's like turning on the air
condition or keeping the window open. It's just running fruitlessly.
You are fruitlessly putting something out there that's not gonna happen.
Stop saying the fruits not gonna happen. I say, as
many times you want to, Carson, what's not happening? It's
so much better when you say it not happening. It's not.

(09:58):
And yeah, but here's one thing. Even even if let's
just say they did, he's still better than Zach Wilson.
Maybe not that much, but he's still better than Zach
Wilson's okay, well, Zach Wilson will be there to give him.
Hell one thing Wentz has done. And I mean I
applaud the guy. He is pocketed of these contracts he's

(10:19):
just signed these last couple of years, over a hundred
million dollars. It's got a lot of cash man, he's done,
he's done. Well, he better Carson or Pete. Oh h oh, Pete, Pete.
Carson just had the one year really until he got
hurt and then Pete Pets had a much longer, a
much longer career career than that. Yeah, that's that's Pete.
Pretty easy. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I would, I'd

(10:42):
call it a push. He gets a push. I got
to find another Winz. Oh, we do need another Wentz's
it's not many other way. Well, there's George went from Cheers,
but that's not Wentz with it. Well he also, you know,
his family with Sadakis, so it all works together. Alright, alright,
but Zadekas his dad went to school with my dad,
so it's it's oh really life's word. Did you know

(11:03):
that Stafford and Kershaw went to school together too? How dared? Wait?
How did you not get on Ted Lasso? If your
dad knows Sadacus's dad one phone call? How? How are
you not Nate? How are you not Nate? You know
the heel turn coach now for west Hand? How is
that not you care for what those spoilers? Man? Yeah? Exactly?
What are you doing? Well? The new season's gonna start
like three days. So for me, okay, it's March fifteenth,

(11:27):
there's still two weeks of build up. I haven't even
made my biscuits yet. To biscuits, I can get an
ice cream that is now biscuits with the Boss ice cream. Yeah,
it doesn't look like it's a flavor that I really
it doesn't have enough chocolate for you. No, no it doesn't.
You always go back to your dark master. The football
is life. But dude, your dad could have called Sadacus's

(11:48):
dad said you got something from my son. Actually to
guy a couple months graduated from Northwestern other you know,
other famous people are there. Can you help him out
a little bit? He's been sitting next to this lunatic
for the last seven years and I don't know, easy,
I don't know. Can you just help me? Yeah? Sure, Hey,
you can come on to be What does he know
about soccer? I don't know, but he could. Could he
turn from a good guy to a bad guy? Yeah? Okay,

(12:10):
ond percent boom and you could have been Nate. You
could have been the guy. Problem is I do a
heel turn every damn night. Well that's okay. We need
we need characters on television to be unpredictable. You imagine
if it was harm in his coach Beard, that would
be brilliant. There's no question. At the end of your

Carson Wentz, is it yes, yes, yes, but plenty of
big NFL to get to. Coming up next, Jason Locke
and Forest stops by. Are the Bears about to trade

(12:54):
the number one pick? What's the latest stuff going on
in Green Bay that now involves Jordan of and dis
Carson Wentz play another down in the league. Keep it
right here, that's next, right here, Jason and Mike Fox.

That's discovered dot com slash Match. We'll have more NBA

(13:38):
coming up, the latest on Lebron James Butt. Plenty of
big news in the NFL. The Bears are they really
leaning towards training the number one pick? With us now
on the hotline longtime NFL insider Odyssey Washington Post. He's
on Twitter at Jason Locke andfora that's the aforementioned Jason
Locke and forward Jay. What's happening, Buddy's going on? Gentlemen,

(14:01):
welcome an. I'm wondering what the Jets would have to
give up if it's a lot to move up and
get Bryce Young instead of all these other quarterbacks that
they're looking at right now. Yeah, it would require quite
a bit, and I think I think the Texans are
gonna end up making that happen. There's, you know, obvious

(14:23):
reasons why they would be more sort of preferential than
some other teams, given you're not moving down that far.
If this is a scenario, where the Bears want to
move down, they feel like their quarterback of the future
is not Bryce Young, right, who I think the industry
has been. At least people in this league or I

(14:44):
talked to, have been pretty convinced that Nick Cassario's guy
is Bryce Young. So if that's not the Bears guy,
but one of these other quarterbacks is, and you only
move down a spot and you're not losing out on
someone you wanted, and you're also trading justin fields for
whatever that nets you. You could if you do this correctly,

(15:08):
and I don't think the powers that be there are
necessarily equipped to do so. There's a reason this organization
has been as bad to mediocre as it's been for
as long as it's been. But you could like concoct
the scenario where they come out of this looking like
they're playing chess and others are playing checkers. But again
that that is going to require a lot of acumen

(15:30):
in turning these picks into players, which hasn't been a
whole lot of that happening there. But for a regime
that now is sort of on the clock because a
new team president's coming in, Kevin Warren, who's going to
be overlooking everything that happened before he got there, including
the hiring of you know, Polls and eber Flews, who
I don't think we're you know, guys who were going

(15:50):
to get jobs elsewhere a year ago. We'll see how
all this plays out. Finally, not a McCaskey calling the
shots though, in terms of those team presidents after one
hundred and three years, yeah, or Ted Phillips, who's basically
just a well, yeah, exactly, that's what That's what he
was for all those years. Now, Jason's really nervous because

(16:12):
we keep sending him pictures of Carson Wentz in the
Jets uniform. I'm not worried about I'm really not worried
about that, you know, I'm not worried about it. I
think they can do better than that. I think that's
where Car ends up. Um. Now, Aaron Rodgers is I guess,
out of his coffin and he's sort of entering the

(16:33):
equation a little bit. But you know, no one was
going to give him what he really wanted car up front,
otherwise that had been done. But I still think when
this musical, you know, Game of Musical Chairs really starts
heating up here, that that's going to make the most
sense for him and them. And you know, I'm guessing
at this point they're going to get him at their

(16:54):
price because nobody's paying his price. So so you think,
you know, whatever's going on right now, it's gonna be
so so the big things. Texans are going to number
one for Bryce Young and the Jets are gonna end
up with Derek Carr. So I should I should change
my avatar of Aaron Rodgers as a jet on Twitter
to Derek Carr as a jet on Twitter. I were you,

(17:16):
I would prefer Derek Carr because, like the floor is
not nearly as low like the floor with Aaron Rodgers
is mega dysfunctional, right, Like he forces them to throw
even more guaranteed money at them. He really is as
cooked as he seemed to be this year. He requires
them to bring in back to Harry and you know

(17:38):
what I mean, and Randall Cobb and the whole put
the whole band back together again. None of them can
play either, and you set yourself back you know, years, years, years, years,
years plural like, whereas with Derek Carr, it's a whole
lot less back, you know, Like I mean, I don't
think Derek Carr is any kind of franchise cell, you know, salvation,

(17:58):
And I think he comes with limited and warts too.
But it's clear again he's not going to break the bank,
or it would have already happened. And I don't think
he like it's not as much drama as Aaron Rodgers,
I mean Aaron Rodgers in New York playing the role
of GM, putting the proverbial financial gun to your head
and demanding, you know, more additions and alterations to his contract,

(18:25):
trying to dictate personnel and oh my goodness, and doing it,
you know, under the bright lights of Gotham. I just
don't know, you know, I don't think that ends well.
Now we've seen report after report of restructuring of veteran
deals in Green Bay. Does that mean Aaron Rodgers out
at a staying in Green Bay? No? No, I don't

(18:45):
think he wants them, and I don't think they want him.
And no one's gonna make it easy for anybody. And
they're so far down this road that it can't be easy,
Like it's been so uncomfortable and so messy for so long,
and now they've reached yet an their mileposts where the
contract is even more cumbersome than ever, and he's worse
than ever. And you know, they're more excited about Jordan

(19:08):
Love than probably anytime since they drafted him. Whether that's
misguided or not, we'll find out. I just think you've
got the culmination of a lot of things going on
here that are leading to his exit. But it won't
be clean, it won't be easy. It will be messy,
and he likes it that way. And he's holding all

(19:32):
the cards because they let him hold them hostage too
straight off seasons, and now he's created a scenario where
he has I mean, he's always had all the leverage,
but now I mean, by golly fifty nine million, fully guaranteed,
he's really got all the leverage now to take this
in the Jordan Love direction, which is nice to talk
about a Green Bay Packers quarterback, not Aaron Rodgers. Is

(19:52):
this the Packers are they hoping? Because you know, we've
only seen a little bit of him and you have
no idea what he's going to be. But if they're
ready to move on the desire to see him on
the field, hey, you went up to get him saying
this is our guy. For for to be a modicum
of conviction in that. I mean he sat for three years.
Like we're at the fifth year option, you know point

(20:13):
in time where you know in this spring in May,
they're gonna have a decision to make and the kids
played no meaning for football Like that all happened. And
your roster is not nearly as good now as it
was then, right, and its totality and your division is
a whole lot better now than it was then, And

(20:38):
like like what could you trade Jordan Love for? You
know what I mean, Like the he's got to play.
He's gotta play, and he's gotta play for the Greenway
Packers like that, that has to happen. Come you know,
hell or high water, good, bad and different. He could
be mediocre as hell, he could be transcendent, he could
be god awful. Like that's guy to come out in

(21:00):
the wash at a certain point, especially when the other
guy is not even not an MVP anymore. He's not
even a league average starting quarterback and he's got the
worst argue with the worst contract in the league. And
you look at all that and where they are and
where they are vieus of you, the cap and the
way they're managed, and they've gone over their skis a

(21:21):
couple of times. Now to try to win one more
time with Aaron Rodgers. News flash, she's had nation. You're
never winning a damn thing again with Aaron Rodgers. You
got your one title with him, just like you got
your one with far of It is what it is,
thirty plus years of watching them painfully destruct my beloved
Chicago team, mister lockein for and they got two titles

(21:42):
for it. That's it, two more than you. Wow. But
given the level of dominance, the only walk away with two. Yeah,
that's that's okay. I'm sure a lot of saltiness. Yeah, yeah,
that that is what it is, all right, talking about
things being suspect. Let's go out to your neck of
the woods and the Washington Commanders with Daniel Snyder. Where

(22:04):
we were going. We got a lot going on. I
getna say, I mean, you want to choose your own adventure.
We'll get We'll get to the well, get the Orioles,
We'll get their exactly. Say, hey, owners need to indemnify
him against future legal liability if you were to sell
you got reports that he's banned some folks from the
bidding process altogether. Uh, chaos, I don't think he walks

(22:28):
away cleanly in any way, shape or form. And I
think it's all a ruse in terms of selling, unless
it's a billionaire Boys Club monopoly who make the rules
up as they go along. And the reality is, the
way they truly reset their generational, multigenerational wealth is by
maximizing the worth of these franchises when any one of

(22:52):
the individuals within their monopoly, billionaire Boys Club, decides to sell.
So the idea that if this does come to pass,
that Bezos has five hundred million dollars or more on
the table than anybody else, that the league is going
to let him, you know what I mean, sell to
somebody else on his terms with you know, these requirements

(23:17):
that nobody can come after me post taste, and you know,
it's it's like my tenure in the NFL never existed,
and even though I made you know, nine gazillions returns
on my investment, We're going to let everything I did
fall by the wayside. Like I just, it doesn't work
that way. It doesn't work that way. And the reality

(23:38):
is they can get ugly with him. They can say,
you know, we're all in this to maximize our finances
and you can't leave that money on the table because
you don't like the other guy who's going to take
over a franchise that you did nothing but run into
the ground and minimize the revenue streams, whereas we think
he can maximize their revenue streams and he can get

(23:58):
a stadium built that you'll get built, and it'll get
a new practice facility built that you could never get built,
and it'll actually sell tickets what you can't do. So
I don't think they just you know, turn a blind
eye to all that. So the reality is they could say, hey,
we're sitting on this report and we know a whole
lot about you, and we can release it all to
the right people and we could just vote you out

(24:20):
and we've got you. You don't have us. You know,
do you want to be able to sell this thing
for the maximum profit or do you want this to
get really, really ugly and us to drag you deep
through the mud and maybe just rip this franchise out
of your hands for cause, Like he's always up for
a legal battle. But I think at the end of

(24:41):
the day, he'd take his six billion and go home
to London or wherever the hell he lives now. I
don't know. I think that's probably where it's it's headed.
And he's gonna save a rattle, and he doesn't want
it to happen on their terms. He doesn't want us
to be so at the upcoming league meetings, he'd like

(25:01):
to drag it out. He'd like to have the next
guy start from behind, right like inherit it in October
where he can't really do anything year one, and I mean,
it's just so much. There's a degree of pettiness to
this that is just staggering. But that's how he rolls.
So I think it gets muddied up. It gets muddled

(25:23):
for a while, but ultimately, guys, you know this and
this league more than anything else, money talks, and if
they have a chance to get a team sold for
six billion versus five point five billion, they're going to
do everything they can to get this team under duress,
with no stadium, with the garbage practice facility, right with

(25:48):
no significant wins in twenty years that he's owned the team, like,
with none of that sold for six billion. That's what
they care about more than anything else. All Right, Lastly,
we stay there for for the other big story of
the day, Carson Wentz is finally let go by the
commanders nothing we weren't expecting. Does he play again? Does

(26:09):
somebody say, hey, does he play? Someone signing to be
back because there's been questions the last couple of years
about hey, maybe not the greatest leader, maybe not the
most coachable guy. Do you want that? Is that attractive
enough to have him as a backup quarterback? Well? I mean, look,
if a guy's making three and a half to five
million dollars, how much of a problem can he be?
You know? Like really, who's who's he a threat to?

(26:29):
You know what I mean? Like, how's he dividing the
locker room? Like who's team Carson? At this point in time?
I think it just depends on like does he want
to be a guy who's content to be in that
sort of tax bracket right to make that sort of
money with a team that hopes, worst case scenario, he's
got to start three or four games for us because

(26:50):
the other guy gets dinged up. But that's it. Like
I don't know where he is mentally, but like the
idea that that and look, I don't want him as
starting quarterback. I don't want him in a position where
if he thinks he's competing for the starting quarterback job
because that has created issues in multiple locker rooms now.
But like as a hired gun backup, you know, there's

(27:12):
clearly a backup on a team where the starter is
making three times more than him, five times more than him,
you know what I mean, Like it's clear the delineation,
Like could he gets in where he fits in and
sort of just understand that that is his role and
that's stipulated, and like if you become a problem, we're
just going to cut your ass. I think there's a

(27:34):
job for him somewhere in that capacity, if he's willing
to take it. He's on Twitter at Jason Locke and
four that is at Jason Locke and for I check
out his latest on Odyssey and the Washington Post. Jay
is always buddy appreciated, my friend. Enjoy the week. We'll
talk to you, buddy. You got it, man, No Lamar,
no Hopkins were crossed. That was boy, all right, I

(27:55):
got off easy. Well, we had a lot what you had.
We had a lot on day We had a lot
of commanders, man, I mean we had a lot of
commander stuff went to the Jets and Lamars. We got
plenty of time for that messiness. Be sure to catch

But it's like whatever, the Wheelers come on, so they
got bounce. It's about mo Bamba. Did you not hear that? Oh? Okay, Lakers, Joe,
that's fun, that's fun. They're back, didn't you hear? Well,

(28:38):
they were kind of back. Big news out of the
NBA earlier today, And maybe you saw Lebron James picture
he put on social media of his foot with a
bag of ice on it. The Lakers now fear that
Lebron James is going to be out several weeks with
the right foot injury he suffered the Mavericks on Sunday.
He's definitely missing Tuesday Night's game against Memphis, and likely

(29:01):
he's going to be out a while longer. He's undergoing
further testing to learn the full extent of the injury.
UH Dave mcmanam and Adrian wil Zarowski had this report
earlier today. Now, if he's out, this is multiple weeks,
and it's like, okay, that could be two weeks. It's
still a lot of games. You got twenty three games left.
You're trying to get in the play in tournament. I mean,
this is a big deal. But the big takeaway from

(29:22):
this mic you'll look short term. Obviously, Hey, this hurts
the Lakers because they're trying to get in the play
in tournament when they were back and they're coming off
a big win on Sunday against the Mavericks and oh
they were losing by fifty early and they came all
the way back. But this right now, and seeing this
today and seeing the picture of Lebron, you know, with
the expletive on social media showing his foot, this is

(29:45):
the beginning of the last chapter of Lebron James's career.
Like this is the beginning of the end of how
it ends for Lebron in the NBA. Right now, this
doesn't mean the beginning and then it's ending tomorrow. I
already thought we were in No, no, we're in the know.
Now we're in the official end game. We're in the
end game. Where after this, after this news today where

(30:08):
Lebron comes out of the All Star Game. These are
the most twenty three important games in my NBA career,
and here come the Lakers. We need to get in
the playoffs. I can't miss the playoffs again. What happens
he gets hurt and this is what's happened to him.
Now we have now four years of data with him
with the Lakers. He is unable to stay healthy. Can't
he can't stay healthy. He misses at least a third

(30:30):
or more of the games every year. And it's soft
tissue injuries. It's injuries where he lands wrong. He just
can't stay healthy a year or two. You think bad luck. Well,
but when you have four years of data, okay, I'm
pretty sure Lebron can't keep this up anymore. So that's
why I look at this and I go he went
everything all in on. These are the most twenty three
most important games, and now he's gonna be hurt for

(30:52):
half of them, three quarters of them all. I don't know.
I don't know how long it's gonna take him to
come back, but this is the beginning of it. This
is where it's okay. Now Ron is just going to
see how long he wants to play because one of
two things is going to happen. Right. Either he's gonna
come back from the injury and he's gonna say I
only know one way to play. He's gonna play over
thirty five minutes a night, however long he can. He's

(31:14):
he's gonna get hurt. He's gonna miss games. In a
year or two, he's gonna say I'm done, I'm playing
one more year, I'm playing with Brownie and that's it.
My body is broken down on me. Or he takes
load management to a new level and plays less than
thirty minutes a night and he sits out back to
back or one of those games all the time, and
he comes into a game, he starts every game he

(31:36):
comes out of a specific time. He goes back into
a specific time to keep the wear and tear down,
to make him able to stay on the court as
long as possible, and maybe then he extends his career
by a couple of years. But whatever it's going to be,
this is now the end game, because this is now,
you know, okay, Lebron can't stay on the floor for
a season. He's Zion Williamson, except you know he's you

(31:56):
know thirty eight years old, Now you knew what was
going to happen. He was a guy that avoided injury
for the vast majority of his career. But now since
he's come to LA he can't stay healthy. So now
you know, okay, four years, you know he's going to
be in and out of the lineup. So it's just
going to be a matter of time until his body
betrays him and he can't play anymore. That's why I
look at this, I go, this is the beginning of
the end where we're definitely now we're in the end

(32:17):
game of Lebron James's career. It's just a matter of
how long it takes to get from here to there. Well,
and and that was one of the questions leading up
to breaking Kareem's record. We'd ask time and time again,
you're playing all these heavy minutes, You're putting up this
effort and statistically some really huge nights along the way. Right,
we could talk about shooting percentage. Even in a couple

(32:37):
of these games recently, shooting percentage hasn't been there, but
the all around game and plus minus has certainly been
to the better of the squad. Right, go back a
couple of games ago where he shot five or twenty
from the field, but he did all that heavy work,
and then every comment was about how much his feet
and his ankles and everything had been hurting along the way.

(33:00):
It's like, okay, the record was inevitable, right, that was
an inevitable moment that we were going to get an
NBA history. So what was the cost of playing those
extra minutes? And then even that night, right, suddenly he
couldn't finish the job and they lose that game to
Okay se Right, you go through and now that this

(33:21):
on top of it, right, you always try to ask,
you know, what's the what's the risk reward proposition for him?
It might have might probably killed the one last chance, right,
because as everybody finished that analyzing and watching that game
yesterday against Dallas, it was well, with all these parts,

(33:42):
you look at what Vanderbilt was able to do, You
look at all the contributions they get into the playoffs.
I in the sixth seed is evidently what Darvin Hamm wanted.
So he could get after Sacramento thinking if he's got
Lebron and Ad and some veteran guys and now these
component parts and run a little deeper that you can
maybe make some noise. This was the window. Maybe that

(34:05):
door had been pushed a jar a little bit, and
now the wind blew it back shut gone, Like I mean,
you can't push the odometer back anymore. I know LEBRONI
James is now a top ten draft and got into
some draft folks. That was an interesting meteoric rise. But
it's now the curiosity of you know, how long is

(34:27):
the tail on the end? What does he from a
mental standpoint, what does he want to do in terms
of dragging this out and not being the guy that
you'd come to know love or loath, depending on which
side of the alee you're on there. Yeah, it's like
it's like we're into the last act and the end
is in sight. Like I can see the end of
Lebron's career. Whereas the talent wise, look, he's still doing it,

(34:50):
but now you can see, okay is injury. How many
more injuries he's really going to have and continue to
play like this? How many more year? Two years? Right,
you can see the end of it. It's not say
the beginning of the endgame twitter at how about a
