Speaker 1 (00:28):
Hello, Welcome inside final hour to night of The Jason
Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon, live from
the ti iraq dot Com studios tyrec dot com. I'll
help you get there at unmatched selection, fast, free shipping,
free road hazard protection, over ten thousand recommended installers tiraq
dot com, the way tire buying should be. Well, it

(00:49):
was all Warriors from the second quarter on that they
demolished the Lakers one twenty seven to one hundred, sending
the series back to LA tied at one game apiece.
What to make of this? Mike Buttenholser being five here,
the Knicks being back joining us now on the hot line,
ten year NBA vet our teammate here at Fox Sports Radio.
He'll be in for me tomorrow night.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
No Knicks talk.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Oh, extra Knicks talk. He's on Twitter at the Ryan Hollins.
It is Ryan Holland is up, big dog.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
What is going on, fellas?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
My man?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
What's happening?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Nothing much, guys, Nothing much from the NBA playoffs and
the Knicks are great. I mean you mean nothing much.
That's a lot of stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Hey man.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
The Knicks half will make it up to do. We'll
talk about that tomorrow and that.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
We could just say they're correct.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
What do you mean? The Knicks have make it in
the Eastern Conference semi's. They're gonna win this series. They're
gonna beat whatever fraudulent team comes out of the Celtics
and the Sixers, and it's gonna be Knicks Lakers in
the NBA Finals, which is what Adam Silver wants.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
It to be. I'm with some mus CTV. I'm with that.
I got no problem with that.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Okay, there you go. Ryan Holland says, I expect finals
to be Lakers. I can't quoach meet you there, coach
with that man? All right? So hey, so let's start
with what we saw tonight. I don't think anybody is
surprised the Warriors one and the Warriors one so big.
What stands out from this game for you?

Speaker 5 (02:10):
They made adjustments. The Lakers size really hurt them. In
Game one. Anthony Davis was a monster. He blocked shots.
He looked like a young Wilt Chamberlain in there in
the paint. And what they did is they played big.
You saw limited minutes from Kevon Looney, but he played
and added bolster the line inserted it in. You saw

(02:31):
less Gary Payton junr. You know, Gary Payton Junior can
guard just about anybody on the perimeter, but you know
he's not big enough to quite have an effect against
a guy like Anthony Davis. So that was the big difference.
And you want to look and see what's the chess
match from the Lakers side. You know, when they get
back to La is it gonna just be, Hey, more
of Anthony Davis. Is it gonna be you know, lineup tweaks,

(02:52):
you know, is it gonna be more lebron So I
think that's the big factor that we want to look
for right now.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Well, we look at Anthony Davis. He had huge game
Game one. You saw the shift as you mentioned Jamichael
Green in for the ill come on, Looney, they get
minutes from him. Later, Lebron talked about the minutes Jamichael
Green game, but Draymond starting off with ad and kept
him in check. And I think Jason and I were
talking about it before Ryan. The anti Anthony Davis crowd

(03:21):
plenty to talk about with the effort off of this one,
considering the expectations from a big game one.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Well, that's the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
You know, you can't you can't grow your expectations too
high off the playoffs. Hey, hats off Anthony Davis and Lebron.
They did what they're supposed to do and they're gonna
have to find it. Try to find a way in LA. Now,
the blessing for the Lakers is that you got the
home court advantage. But yes, you're gonna need Anthony Davis

(03:49):
to play better. But I don't know if it would
be fair to expect the same outcome. And now that
you see Draymond going over and having to guard Anthony Davis,
you know, if you're the Lake who steps up, you
know you're gonna look at d lo You're gonna look
at Lebron. You're gonna say, hey, guys, if you're you
know you're doubling or triple team and Anthony Davis.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Those other guys have to step up.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
But now we got Draymond who likes to be a
roamer and a help defender, which means he doesn't just
keing on one guy. He's got a key in on
Anthony Davis. Now the rest of the Lakers take advantage.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
So after what you've seen the first two games in
the series, who do you expect to win?

Speaker 5 (04:27):
It's a toss up, man, It's a toss up. And
the reason I say this is because the chess match begins.
It's it's looking like it's gonna mess around and be
a seven game series in which the you know, I
guess the favor would be towards Golden State, but hey,
you saw Golden State go small, then they went big. Hey,
you see there may be line ups where Lebron James
plays the center position. Hey, guys have to stay healthy

(04:49):
the entire way through. Hey, can Jamichael Green? Are they
gonna be a quip for the for the you know,
the Warriors now playing big and having some size on
the floor and you know, throwing Green and Looney and
you know Draymon out there. So it's honestly gonna be
a chess match. Hey, Darvin Ham, this is where he's
gonna earn his money. This is championship basketball ultimately at

(05:10):
the end of the day. So I guess we'd lean
towards Warriors because there would be home court advantage and
you think it's gonna be that tight. But then do
we count out Lebron James. Does he have another Lebron
like performance in him where he can you know he's
really I mean Lebron is this is the least we've
seen from Lebron. He's playing off the ball. Is Lebron
limited to being an X factor now?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
So he had a good first half and then crickets.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Yeah, And here's the thing at Lebron's age, is it
fair to put everything on Lebron? So for the Lakers,
they got to find a way to manufacture offense. We
know the defense is much improved. And the thing about
Golden State, which I felt like, was that the end
of the day, the common denominator in the last series
is you had Steph Clay and Draymond and the Sacramento

(05:55):
Kings could not score enough to beat the Warriors when
it came down to that game, seven the second half.
They could not score the ball enough, they could execute
enough to win that game. You have the same question
mark with the Lakers offense. Is it going to be enough?
And that's why we say you're setting the stage for
Lebron to go super Sam mode, old school Lebron, old

(06:16):
school you know the Miami Heat, you know Game six
in the Guard and Lebron James come out and play again.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
All right, So I'm gonna leave the Knicks questions and
fawning for Smith. Let's go to the other easter. I mean,
there's no point in talking about the bankrupt Phoenix Suns
at this point. Boston Philly one game each. The new
MVP and Joel Embiid effective for a few minutes but
laboring a bit. But James Harden went back into James

(06:46):
Harden playoffs of the past. What do you expect for
Game three when we take the airwaves tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
I think Boston is gonna win Game three on the road.
I think they know it's a must win scenario. They've
got it still win of these games. Philly didn't look great.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
You know.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I think obviously it's not just saying we need more
from James Harden. I think the question that they're still
asking is how do we get James and Joel to
work together to get easy baskets. We seen Joel go
off and have large performances. Hey, we saw James Harden
absolutely go go wild in Game one. But how do
those two work together? Because here's the thing about Boston.

(07:23):
Boston's got strengthen numbers. They play the driving kick penetrate
kick game. They spread you out and they hit threes
and that was the difference in Philadelphia just could not
score enough. So I think the advantage goes towards Boston.
But can Philly figure things out? And that's the big
problem over there in Philadelphia. But make no mistake, Philly,

(07:46):
much like the Lakers, let's not draw too much. They
did their job. Now you got to win two games
at home. So you know, Philly and the Lakers both
are sitting in the driver's seat in this series.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
How long until James Harden has another game like Game one?
Three weeks?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
For?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
How much rest does he need to have another big game?
Does mean? How much time off does he I.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Don't think it's rest.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
I think James Harden got into a situation where you
needed that from him.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
And he stepped up.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
And like I said, the big problem or the big
question mark, is how do we have that work with
Joel on the floor? You know, with Joel out there?
How do we get the same James Harden? And you
don't want to say those two don't work well together.
It's the same questions you had when Ben Simmons was
playing well there in Philadelphia. But if you can get
that same James Harden that doesn't step on Joel Embiid,

(08:31):
you have a chance in this series because you saw
man James Harden is still box office.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
All right to that? And let me just go back
Joel Embiid. Should he have been the MVP?

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Absolutely, Statistically it was Nicola Yolkach's award. I think there's
some voter fatigue there. Embiid is the better player, there's
no question. And I think what we're starting to find
out is the MVP award is very subjective, so it's
there's no just criteria. Okay, we can look at usage,

(09:03):
we can look at wins. Technically, Jokic's team is actually
doing better than.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
The years that he won MVP. Yeah, the team is better.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
So I fully agree that he easily could have stepped
away with the MVP. No one would have batter than I.
But you know, Joel had that huge performance and just
tore Yokic chop and he hadn't had an MVP before
and I think that was the big common denominator in
the equation.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Guy.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
So I don't think anybody is going no, Joelle should
be the MVP. But you know, you understand Yokic statistically,
if we have a criteria, would have been it.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah. See, I would have taken my vote away from him,
Jason Ryan because after crying for the MVP when they
faced head to head, he didn't show up.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
You know what, I'll never question another player's injury.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
I get it.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
That's the match that we did want to see. So
that did make things tough. But yeah, yeah, that was
a tough one.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
You know. Was it on purpose?

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Did he want to leave the you know the Hey, guys,
I won the matchup that we played against each other.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
I don't know what it was.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
And here's the thing that I will say to that,
Joel Fullall missed the playoff game, dude, so you know
there's some injury history there, so for him to be
missing a game just because we don't know, the severity
of what an injury with a guy like Joel Embiid
is does not mean that he's not injured.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
All right, big dog, Let's get to the big topic here.
How many more games do the Knicks lose the rest
of the playoffs?

Speaker 4 (10:33):
One? Two?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Do they lose as many as three? But how many
more games does the Knicks lose?

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Hey, the Knicks have to show they can beat Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Dude, yeah, Jimmy, Hey, they got to show they can
beat us with Julius Randall. So there, I'm back.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
That is very valid.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
But yeah, no, look, I hear you.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
But the thing about Eric expulsive spael knew he was
playing with house money. And when I say that is
he already got the big game that he needed. He
showed that when they're down and out, they can still
be in a game. And it's almost like those old
Spurs team. You get Spurs teams, you kind of you know,
miss everybody play the mind games. And yet you know, hey,

(11:17):
Miami had a chance to win that game, and that's
gotta be scary as well. It's Randall. Randall played. There
was a chance that Miami pulled that game off. So
I think you do have to, you know, think twice.
And if you know, if I'm the Knicks, I'm not
feeling super confident.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
And now you got to go in to Miami. You
gotta steal a game.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
And I think obviously we know the Knicks if you
if you watch them play, they have the same problems
that we're talking about. Can they score the basketball enough?
You know, those are two teams that kind of went
off their grid.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Ryan last one from me take out of the playoffs.
The big news today the Bucks dismiss dismissed Mike Budenholzer,
a couple of Coach of the Year awards, a title mix.
They're in but the number one seed and they got
bounced by the aforemention Jimmy Butler in the Gentleman's sweep
as it were, so uh in five game series and

(12:07):
down they go. H surprised at all by this move
or did you see this coming after another big regular
season that yielded nothing.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I was very surprised by that move.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Unfortunately, you know, it's a player of the league in
the NBA, so you know, you saw there that things
needed to change, and the reality is, guys, you're not
gonna move on from Giannis on to the CUPO. Right,
you're not gonna go We're trading Ganis on to the CUPO.
Even though you know you can maybe point and say
there's flaws in his game or he doesn't shoot the ball, well,

(12:41):
he doesn't do this, this and this, and they're gonna say, hey, Bud,
you go figure it out. They're not gonna say, hey, Gyiannis,
you you go do it but once and you go
win a championship. So, like I said, it's a players league, Uh, coach,
Butenholzer is gonna be just fine. He'll be having his
pick of where he would like to coach next season.
He's done that fine of a job. It's starting to
look like, guys, that the Coach of the Year award

(13:03):
is the yeah yeah, yeah, it's not looking that sweet
right now. But I think coach Bootenholds will be five.
And I think that's just a tough part about the NBA.
Like I said, you're you're not gonna go all You're honest,
it's time for you to go, buddy, you got the boot.
That first round exit is like, no, we're gonna look
at the coach in this.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
One, all right, big dog? Last one here the one
series haven't gotten to yet, Denver and Phoenix. I'm gonna
tell you what we've said on the show the last
couple of nights. You give me, agree or disagree, you're
ready talk to me. Okay. If the Nuggets don't make
it to the NBA Finals this year, they're never gonna
make it. This is their year to do it.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
I can't say never. Lebron James is older, Steph Curry's
getting older. I think Yo Kitchen Murray aren't that at
that stage, and there's still very much gonna be in
the thick of things if it isn't this year. So
if this was like, hey, Lebron is limping around and
steps the bar, you feel that way about them. I
don't feel that way about Jokichen Murray, but I will

(14:06):
say this, they're finally in a situation where they're healthy
and it's been a while since Denver has been as healthy.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Uh. You know, Porter Junior is.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
Playing well, Murray's back, and Gordon, you know, is playing
at a high level. This is the best chance that
they have had in a very long time. We may
have to go back to Carmelo's Nuggets, you know, for
this one.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
You can follow on Twitter at the Ryan Hollins That is,
at the Ryan Hollins. You got mellow in. You got
mellow in, Buddy, Mary, Nick.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Carmello, Yeah, hey, he'll be in for me tomorrow night.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Talking all about the next You have to start the
show and just go next, Knicks, next, next, next.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
Nixt Nick, Ryan, I promise that will not be how
it starts. All right, see you, Buddy and Joe. We'll
talk to you tomorrow. All right, guys, great stuff there
from Ryan Hollins.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
As always. Look, my point about the Nuggets is it
not that Jokichen and Jamal Murray don't have a lot
of years left. But it's like, I mean, come on, man,
the door's open, right, like, like this is the year
you have an older You have two older teams that
who knows what they're gonna have left in the tank
after they take everything out of each other in this round,
and the Lakers and the Warriors. So I mean this

(15:25):
is you don't finish off this sun Steam without Chris
Paul and then beat whoever's in the next round. Yeah,
how are you gonna make it to the finals.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Well, it just goes to the idea of every series
We've been watching his injury after injury. So you presume nothing,
You presume no greatness.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
You just had.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
We just talked about the bucks. You're the number one seed.
You got bounced. No guarantees.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app Fox.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Sports Radio, The Chase the Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harmon. Yes, sir, there was somebody today who
decided to put everybody on notice by saying, you know
what I think I want to throw for six thousand yards?

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Is zacht?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
That what Sam Darnold said to Klay Thompson.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
You yeah, yeah, that's exactly what he said. You know,
six thousand yards, six thousand yards. Let's just do Look,
this is a situation in which we saw a superstar
quarterback today say something very bold and I love it
at the same time. There's something else to say about it.

(16:45):
But mystery quarterback, please sign in.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
How much you want to make a bet I can
throw a football over the mountain?

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Coach would have put me in fourth quarter.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Been state champions, no doubt, Yeah, no, doubt my mind.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
You better believe things that have been different, ID have
gone pro heartbeat.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
I'd be making millions and dollars and living in a
be old mansion somewhere, you know, soaking it up with
my soul.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Me kill.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Mar sounds good.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
I'm in.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
I'm all with that guy.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah, no, no, no, yeah, very much. And I like
he was talking to Kip Winger.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
I think is who he meant to say, heading for
a hard break.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Take my arm, the other arm, my other arm. Okay,
so uh No, it was not Uncle Rico, who does
throw footballs over mountains, but it was New and Old
Raven's quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
I mean, I want to throw six thousand yards with
weapons we have, you know.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
And I'm not an individual award type oftat watcher, you know.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I just want to do that. You know, no one
ever done, and I feel like we have the weapons
to do it.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
We wasn't a stat watcher.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I could throw for six thousand yards. Yes, yeah, yeah,
Zay Flowers and and Odell bet Yes, that tells me
six that six thousand.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
It's a new world order. They leaned in DaCosta after
being criticized about his receiving core and his misplaced trust
in all of their draft picks and all of the
things they've done for Lamar Jackson this year, they got
it all right, So he's gonna double his career eye output.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Now, look, I die. I love having ambition, right, and
that's right, him saying I want to throw. That's great, right,
It's awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome. I love that. But this
whole time, I just feel like this has been an
end credible waste of time. The entire Lamar Jackson storyline

(19:04):
has been the biggest waste of time. He went from
no one wanted to give him money for a long
time and then the relationship was done. He didn't come
back to play because he was hurt and didn't want
to didn't want to put his future earnings at stake.
He was so done with the Ravens he asked for
a trade. He decided to let that trade demand slip.

(19:26):
Right when John Harbaugh and the other thirty one coaches
are sitting down to breakfast at the NFL owners meetings.
He was done, and then suddenly, oh, here I am, Yes,
I'll resign. Oh, and here's guaranteed money. It's not all
the money, I thought, but it's pretty good, and overall
my average salary is the best. So okay, what an
unbelievable waste of time the storyline has been. What a

(19:46):
waste of time. Fantastic, It's been a huge waste of
time because nothing happens, because you ended up in the
same place you started.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Many a great storybook, many a great movie series has.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Done just that.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Wild adventures, perhaps only happening in the imagination under cover
of night while you were asleep. No no, you go
into dreamland.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
No no, no, no, this was a waste of time.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
And then you wake up and you're on your own bed.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
It's just it's just like Bill Murray tells Anny McDowell
about majoring in French poetry in Groundog Day. What an
incredible waste of time. What a waste of time this was?
This was I'm done, I'm out. I don't want I
want to get paid. I want all of this. I
don't have an agent, it doesn't matter. I'm liking tweets
about different and then suddenly, what now I'm resigning. Wait

(20:33):
a minute, Wait a minute, what what the hell happened to?
I want I want out, I want to get traded. Yes,
I get what happened. At the end, he realized nobody
was going to trade for him because he's a big
wild card. Is he gonna be healthy? Does he? Is
he gonna be somebody that we can negotiate with though
none of us know this. Do we want to give
up two first round picks? We do not, because again

(20:53):
go back to the health thing from the last couple
of years. You're a little bit far removed from your
NFL MVP season. So oh yeah, I'm gonna stay because
the team that knows me will negotiate with me because
they know me for the last few years. So okay,
I'll get my money from them. I just want to
get paid. I'll even take it from the team that
I demanded a trade from and I wanted out, and
I put them on blast by letting it slip right

(21:16):
before John Harbaugh sits down for breakfast and he winds
up staying a What an incredible waste of time this was.
He would have gone to any team that paid him money,
didn't matter, didn't mat could be the worst team in
the NFL. It could have been the Jets saying we're
gonna pay you to sit behind Aaron Rodgers for the
next two years or whoever long Aaron Rodgers wants to play.
But we're gonna pay your money. Hey gright, I'll take it.
I'll take it. I'll take it. This story was such

(21:37):
a waste of time.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Always business, never personal, best of both worlds. Go out
into the marketplace, see what you can get. In the end,
it got him fifty million more than what was the
alleged other offer. Rights supposed to be five for one
thirty three and instead he gets one hundred and eighty
five guaranteed to sixty total. I think it was worth
the exploration in wau in the woods, hitchhiking coast to coast.

(22:03):
We have no idea who or what or anybody he
ever talked to in the process. It's the beauty of
not having a pr agency or agent doing it. He
did more about promoting you know, oxtails available at his
restaurant down in Florida than anything which I think I
might go next time I visit my folks, I might
go make a pilgrimage to his restaurant. But the idea

(22:23):
being that he got back to where he belongs and
where he has the most value and Harball was sitting
there with a bunch of rose pedals on a path
to bring him back into the facility. And if he
can get anywhere near the thirty one hundred he had
during his MVP candidacy, I think they'd be thrilled the
six thousand. Hell yeah, let's go.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
If this kid case, if this was a case of Hey,
there were many twists and turns, and there were negotiations
that that got blown. Oh, they might come out in
the watch the ball came out. No, nothing happened. He
didn't cut the Ravens said today, we're surprised Lamar Jackson
didn't get contacted by any other teams. We're surprised to
get cut down. There's nothing else. He sat around, waited

(23:09):
to get paid. It didn't happen. I'll go back to
the team.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
He still got paid.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
I mean, it's a it's this story is a waste
of time. It was not it, Yes, because it is
today where it was when all of this. Oh, Lamar
wants out of the same thing. He's Lamar Jackson, Ravens quarterback.
We could have talked more about the Knicks.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
This is beautiful because you can end it with the
John bon Jovi.

Speaker 7 (23:30):
Song, don't put that evil on us, Ricky Bobby, but
John bon Jovie and Jennifer Nettles. Who says you can't
go back? Come on, who says you can't go home?

Speaker 1 (23:41):
I'd rather listen to that song.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
It's a great story. We spent a lot of time.
There were a lot of theories because we didn't have
any information. Was all imperfect information because everybody was theorizing,
not even Shams over there and putting his nose in
the NFL business, was able to come up with anything.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Chumps.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Come on, by the way, he got stuff wrong last week,
so he's fired. But the as my inside, I need
a second source, Frostburg. But the idea that it was
a waste of time, come on. That we're looking at
the new age NFL negotiating in public using all of
any source you know, anonymous sources say, using all your information, folks,

(24:27):
as we've seen, I mean, we've seen guys that'll have
you approved their copy before it goes to their respective employers.
So I mean, you've got opportunities to run a narrative
instead of getting I would like to get traded, unless
you just kiss my ass, which is what Baltimore ended
up doing.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Waste of time, waste of time, wait, waste of all.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
We wasted six months waiting on your jeckass to finally
show up and for a trade to go down.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
It was inevitable.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
But what did everybody do? They pretended like it was
the most improbable thing, like the aliens had landed, waved
at you and said, jets you that we we is
that all wasted time too?

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Because we got the trade. We got the trade right.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
But again, if you're saying if it got to where
we started to begin with, it did, but but it
didn't well, but this got to where the we were
in the process, he's going to be a jet. It
was just a matter of when I held out hope
that it was going to hell, just because I thought
it would make better content than us and for everybody else.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
It wasn't gonna happen. I kept telling you.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
But it was a waste of ours. Aaron Rodgers Eve
was a waste of time because it ended up happening.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
We had Aaron Rodgers Eve for like months, and you
had it would have been it would have been a
waste of time. If at the end, Aaron Rodgers says,
I came out of the darkness and I really want
to stay at Green Baby.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
That would have been fantastic. That would have been the
great plot twist. That would have been better than anything
m Night Shalaman had ever come up with it his life.
That was better than I see dead people.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
You sound like freak to take. Now you're yelling like that's.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
So loud, dude, the same steaks New Jersey transit loud noises.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
If Aaron Rodgers didn't go anywhere, it would have been
another waste. It would have been another way he pulled
the rug over.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
But those four months had been wasted time. No, I
would argue then, Yes.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
No, they were. They were months of anticipation and it
finally came true. That's what it was.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
It was, And this was months of me anticipating Commons
would prevail and Lamar Jackson would be a raven and
he is.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
No waste of time.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
I hate to say, I told you so.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Waste of time. No, it's great, but it's a waste
of time. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's but it's
a waste waste of time.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Don't be upset. Well, I'm just saying if you wanted
to watch the world burn. In this case, it didn't.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
We could have talked more about the Knicks. We could
have done that. We could have.

Speaker 8 (26:49):
They would have if I put it out on them
a pole question right now, I would say our audience
nationwide and globally would would say we got ample Nick's talking.

Speaker 7 (27:00):
First thing the Boss has taught me here twenty years ago,
you never go full nixt.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
We could have. We could have talked more about Aaron
Rodgers to the Jets. We could.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
There was so much more, yes, because we left so
many things on the floor. Yes, there was so much
meat on the boat. As I like to say, Oh
we got meat on the boat.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Meat on the boat.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
We got a segment plus yesterday of just kind of
explaining who Jessica album was.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Why are you yelling? Still? You're yelling so loud? Why
are you what are you doing that?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
He's got to get it through your thick numbskull, That's it.
It's trying to get through that second lay so loud?
Uh right, he's so loddan. Why you so mad? I
like how how high your voice got?

Speaker 1 (27:41):
The n waisted so loud?

Speaker 3 (27:43):
That's the Burger's talking.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Yeah, I really I really want a big mac now,
I really might go get something after the show?

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Well, would that be number five? Six?

Speaker 4 (27:50):
And no?

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Usually no, no, no, no, Usually I don't go deep
still getting always after the whole child labor thing, not late.
It's it's really a disturbing term. I don't go to
that McDonald's.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
I go to McDonald's if you were hungry, right, well,
I'm all about you know. Kids need to earn their
way too. They can help the household.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Dude, I like that. Though McDonald's has five billion locations,
I could just go to a different one.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Down the street. That's why Jason buys the Nikes too.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Come on, man, Nikes. Yeah, they just started having Jason's
fat fights fitting in a Nike. No, Nike started doing
white shoe now.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Yeah, New Balance for life kids.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
No, I did just buy a pair of New Balance, though.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
I did just buy a new Did you buy it
because did you buy it because sho Hao Tani's doing
the ads?

Speaker 7 (28:33):
No?

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I bought him because of Kawhi Leonard and I started
wearing them and I got hurt?

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Did you get hurt? Can you sue because of that?
I wore Hormans.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
I just said, I warm and I got hurt, and
Frostburg says, did you get hurt yet? Wearing him, I'm like, well.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
I just gave you the first time ever.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
I just gave you the punchline, and then you just
you gave it.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
He was waiting for the pause, trying to come in
with the one liner, and you didn't.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
You didn't need this?

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Are you for once? You punched me?

Speaker 1 (29:04):
First look?

Speaker 2 (29:07):

Speaker 7 (29:49):
The battle bias opposite field right center, back to back
home runs and the Tigers take a two nothing lead
in the first.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
Really, that's I got, Really justin Justin Verlander, Oh right,
what was gonna be? I don't know. Well, you're right.
I had to feel it wasn't gonna be the Lakers
because Frostburg was gonna be too mad.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
You don't play till Saturdays. Yeah, has been wiped off
the slate. I mean, he just took out the flashy
thing on dysher to forget that that ever existed.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Frostburg's taking off all his Lakers Geary's wearing that.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Just taking it off, naked in here put something else on,
going streaking afraid, getting ready to go streaking through the quad.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Frank, Honestly, today I went out to lunch during the
Mets game against the Tigers. He had started out. Verlander
gives up two home runs, and I'm like great, and
then he settles down and he was fine. He pitched
five innings to runs at first, started the okay five.
But the Mets get three hits and they're terrible and
they stink. And I couldn't wait to get home and
I go and I changed my shirt. My wife goes,
why did you change your shirt? We just went out

(30:49):
to lunch ago because we lost and we stink. I
can't wear this thing right now. So I got some
sauce all over my shirt. I took it off, but
a new shirt. Nothing happened. Like sometimes I spill stuff
and I have to do it. But I'm like, I
can't where there's we're losers, man, I got kid, We're
I gonna take this off. Put on a new shirt.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
That's food for later. Jane, could you put on a
new med shirt?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Couldn't put on?

Speaker 7 (31:09):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:09):
I put on my Jet sweatshirt. I'm like, I need
to be happy. It's time me to put on my
Aaron Rodgers. I'm ready. I'm happy Jet sweatshirt. All right,
let's go laughing.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
So Maddeline, my younger daughter, for those unaware everywhere, every
once in a while, we'll just steal cool design T shirts, right,
band shirts or whatever else from stores from me.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Oh okay, you gotta you gotta preface that.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
From me in a while, will steal T shirt, right,
She'll steal them out of my my.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
But I just got from this store.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
We gotta go back, you know.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
No, No, you can't just take stuff.

Speaker 3 (31:40):
From no, no, I'd have been in we haven't been
in a hot topic, and I can't nicely done. That's
amount of time. That was where you sought out the
rare and exclusive funkos. But anyway, so she had taken
a couple of T shirts and then she realized, like,
you know, I'm being asked a lot. It's very specific
wrestling questions and I have no idea nor do I
care to learn. So here and take these back the

(32:02):
time on Spencer's Well, I went behind the beaded curtain
in this little video store.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
I got this whoopee cushion and now I'm real excited.
I got one of those pens where you turn it
one way and it's one picture, and you turn the
other way it's another picture.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
So it's just kind of fun. It's like and she also,
I think got a talking to you for one at
one of the shirts was the Undertaker and said cn
hell on the bank of it. So I don't know
how much they want that running around, but I want I.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Want that drop of you. Say, what's all my darter
likes to steal T shirt?

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Now it's getting ship from me.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Chalk Line puts them under her shirt walks. Hey, Dad,
didn't you want that Guns and Roses T shirt? Yeah,
but I'll buy another time. No, here, I got it
for you. Hey, hey, just put it off.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
You know what, Sometimes you take the gifts, you don't
question where they came from. Five You're special, Dad.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Foully out of the store. And if I yell run,
run the other way. They can't chase both of us.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Well, but I'm a more likely and slower foot like.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
They'll catch out. They'll catch you. On a scooter, Harmon's
daughter just blitzing past it, weaving in and out of people.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Him down like a bear's chasing them.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Harmon's like tripping and falling over it. And that's just stop.
And he's grabbing on his shorts like he's in the
final minute of an NBA game and just trying to get.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Rest throw hamstring. I just pulled up. I tried to
cut I tore my maniskin.

Speaker 7 (33:37):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
I'm not gonna run anymore. You can arrest me. I'm not.
I'm not gonna run. I'm just tired. I'm just like, OK,
I can't run.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
I at least made it five stores. Five Stealer under
was set and six and a half stores. I fell
short because that sporting good store was a little bigger
than I thought.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
My daughter likes to steal teachers.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
You don't let me finish the line.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
You don't deserve to which you know why you never
said from me?

Speaker 3 (34:03):
You said, never say from me.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
You did, you said, my darna like steel T shirts
once in a while, and then blah blah blah. Then
you started, and I never go And then after a
few seconds I drifted in. This is wait a minute,
wait a minute from where from storage was? Oh no,
from me. You had ample opportunity to get that in there,
but instead, now I'm picturing you know.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
It makes a better bit.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
You're You're in Maddie's picture at every mall going watch
out for this father and daughter team. They're gonna come in.
He's gonna start talking about Northwestern football, and she's gonna
take T shirts.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
And just run such a jacket. All of it started
because you couldn't contain your sauce. Lost in the sauce.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
I can't get over that. I really I we we had,
we had a plan to do something else, but I
just can't get over the picture.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Nothing else matters.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Just run run the other way.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
I've got the baby roots dog.

Speaker 1 (35:01):

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Tommy Lee Jones is giving the speech like in the
Fugitive Traveling speeding them all was stile. The T shirts
is four miles an hour.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
We had a side. Didn't kill my wife.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
