(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Hello and welcome inside
our four The Jason Smith Show with my best friend
Mike Harmon. Where, boy, we got a lot of football
on the way this hour. We are still buzzing from
the Rams victory over the Seahawks. Geno Smith nearly plays
the hero. When can Russell Wilson play again? We got
(00:46):
Jay Glazer stopping buying a few minutes. Could Trey Lance
actually make his first start in the NFL this weekend? Oh,
we got tons of football, but really quick before we
get to that. You just heard it in the update
with Steve de Seger. Uh. You probably looked at Twitter
at some point the night and said, why is Peppi trending? Waited?
Did did Big Poppy say something on the broadcast of
(01:07):
the Red Sox and the and somebody said no, no, no, no, no.
Peppi is Ricardo Peppi, eighteen year old sensation who scored
both goals for the United States men's team tonight in
World Cup qualifying, And suddenly all the doom and gloom
of a month ago everything looks different. You know, Polistic
(01:27):
didn't play this game. Weston McKinney is able to come
back and play. And here's an eighteen year old kid
who was deciding whether or not to play for the
United States or Mexico, and it's value's in United States.
But he grew up his parents were Mexico fans, and
I would have played for the United States. And Mike,
this kid's only played two games, and I feel like,
(01:48):
oh my goodness. I I can't imagine the team without him.
I mean, now, suddenly, everybody, look, this is what happens
in World Cup. Qualified you feel awful, then you feel great,
and sometimes that happens over the course of one game.
But the last couple of games, the way he has played,
what he has done to affect I mean, he's been fantastic.
I thought it was Pelistic and still think it's gonna
be Polisic to be the guy that that leads the
(02:08):
United States resurgence back into soccer prominence and we qualify
for the World Cut. But maybe it's gonna wind up
being Ricardo Peppi because he has been fantastic. Here's the thing,
we need a both. You need more than one guy.
That's been the whole point all this. Throughout the history
of men's soccer. There's always been one guy you liked.
Now it's a matter of can you find multiple can
(02:29):
you find a build a squad to go out there
and play and and like, this is a long road
begins with the first step. So yeah, this will garner
some headlines opposite Major League Baseball playoffs in a Thursday
night football game. Uh and maybe a surgeon his trading
cards of values for for those that have invested high.
But you've got the opportunity here, uh for the United
(02:52):
States men's team to grab a little bit of headlines. Right.
You got the women's team in a bit of transition
right now, right, new heroes need to emerge on that side.
So yeah, I'd grab all the positive headlines I could
and sell the hell out of the eighteen. We have
a new star. Let's go. Uh. So the United States
(03:13):
with a big win tonight. Look and look, Jamaica is
not very good, but hey, we've had trouble, right, So hey,
this was a really really big w for the United
States because it's about building momentum. And uh, you know,
Mexico had a draw tonight with Canada. So now United
States in Mexico are atop of the qualifying standings together,
all right, so they both have eight points through four games.
(03:35):
So all of this crap that we went through, right,
that everybody went through in the United States, What are
we doing? And it was a big deal. Now after
one more game, we're at top of the qualifying standings,
so now things look great. Right, we play Panama on Sunday,
then Costa Rica next week and and this window right
now we're at the top and and suddenly to make
that kind of change in that shorter time, the world
(03:56):
changes very very quickly. We talked about it all the time. Man,
you can only play who's on the schedule, just like
the shows tonight. So it might be a hot take
in the first half. You know, Hey, Matthew Stafford's doing nothing.
They scored three points. They stink. I can't take it back,
not in that moment. They stunk and they were terrible
in the first half of play, and then they rallied. Uh,
(04:20):
the thing is tonight with the game. We talked about
the Rams last hour and how well Matthew Staffords playing. Look,
Mike and I are on opposite sides. I'm believing in
Matthew Stafford. Mike still wants to wait and see a
little bit. And you know, look, I know the shows today.
If if you put a gun to my head and
I've got to make the obviously, yes he's playing. Congratulations,
I've seen this before. Remember he was in the Bears
(04:43):
division his entire career. I punched an awful lot of
Matthew Stafford. But he was with the Lions, but he
was surrounded. He wasn't with the Packers. Buddy, He's never
had a running back. I don't think they actually played
a running back when he was the quarterback there. He's
on a much better team out and his numbers are
showing it. The wins are showing he's the same guy
(05:03):
he was. He's just playing on a better team and
he was always pretty consistent. We'll wait and see when
games truly they've mattered already. They want tonight they beat Tampa.
They've want what's today's date? Today is October the seven.
Go back and look at his splits in November and December,
and then we'll talk again. Those splits are all with
(05:25):
the Lions. Again, it's also but it's also week five
in the season. Mike him. If somehow he has to
play those games in November with the Lions, I will
agree with if sometimes he has to play without his
full offensive line and some of the other things that
other teams have been beset by. Gino Smith played, did anybody? Yeah,
(05:46):
I know, buddy, I know, but it doesn't matter. Look
at what the Rams did in the second Offensively, they
couldn't do anything in the first half, and then the
adjustments they made, they were going down. But he still
opened the door. Why he opened the door with a
bad possession that gave you know, the ball back with
two minutes plus. Yeah, but you're giving the ball back
to Geno and then they were able to trip Tyler
(06:06):
Locket and there was no call, no call. You gave
it back to Geno Smith. You didn't give it back
to Russell Wilson. You had back to Geno Smith. It's
gonna happen. First play was a pick first player, No, no,
you laugh all you want that? That was that should
have been a penalty on the defense. It should have
should have been illegal contact five yards at a and
Gino continues his march to greatness. Well he's still got
(06:29):
to get another seven yards, all right. He marched through
them like a hot knife through butter. Okay, Well he
threw a touchdown, then they stopped and they kicked the
field goal, and then he threw a pick, so they
sort of started to figure him out a little bit.
They didn't figure out was ready. They can't figure it
was his time. I want you to tweet that right
now that I want you right now. The Rams couldn't
(06:51):
figure out Geno Smith. I want you to tweet that
out right now. I want tweet that. Put it out
right now. But all right, right now, But but really quick,
um ahead, keep going, you're doing it. Uh So, when
are you gonna believe in Matthew Stafford after they crushed
the Giants next week? It's when after they beat the
(07:14):
Texans when they're seven and one. There's seven and one
to start. Haven't they been relegated yet? But but do
you say, hey, hey, don't you fret Boba Fett. That
relegation thing could happen at some point anytime. With Richmond
afc Uh you said, you can only face whoever is
on the board. And they've already won some big games.
They beat in the Bucks, they beat the Seahawks on
Thursday night. Now they got the easy part of the
(07:35):
schedule coming up after a long time off. They're gonna
be sitting there at seven and one, buddy, I mean seven.
Matthew Stafford, no matter how you cut it, he has
been fanned seventeen game season, buddy, And that's all I'm
trying to say in the moment. Yes, he's been fantastic.
I stipulate to that, absolutely, but it's a full season.
You don't think the Rams are gonna continue to be good.
(07:55):
Do you think they're gonna somehow find a way to
to to fall off? But Entiel is always there for
every team, is it not? Yeah? But but the Rent Yeah,
but the Rams are loaded everywhere. This is the Rams
are not a team that is built like the Bucks
or the Chiefs, where it's we're just gonna score thirty
five points in the first eight minutes of a game.
(08:16):
Anders had a fantastic defense to the entire secondary. Hey no,
the Bucks, No, the Bucks are No. Bucks are a
great team, but you were just just missing it. As
they just need to score a ton a great run defense.
And it's unfortunate at this moment that they had to
go to the street signings because a bunch of guys
got hurts. Hadn't had that happen yet. But this is
this is how the Bucks and the Chiefs and those
(08:38):
kind of teams are built, is to score tons of
points and to blitz the scoreboard. And that's not how
Sean McVeigh has tried to build his team, Sean McVey,
Sean McVeigh has built his team to win any kind
of game, to win an aerial shootout, they can do it.
Can they grind it out and win on the ground,
Yeah they can. Can they win the defensive struggle because
their defense is really good. Yeah, that's the mark of
(08:59):
a team that's mark a great team to defense. Their
their defense has played pretty well, Mike. Their defense is
playing you got you got the defensive Player of the
Year Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey is really okay. They their
defense is pretty good. They've been able to win games.
They got they got beat up by the Cardinals, and
I get that. Looking the Cardinals have really shown that,
(09:20):
Hey we're pretty good too. But the Rams are built
to win any kind of game. So if if we
we can throw with anybody, we can also if the
weather hasn't we can run it. We can win a
defense to struggle any kind of game. They're built. No,
I'm not. I picked them to go to the super Bowl.
So I'm telling you why they're going, all right. The
Bucks are built to put a lot of points on
the board. Their defense is able to put if they
(09:41):
struggle offensively, Can they rely on their running game and
defense to win a game? Probably? Not? All right, the Chiefs,
if they struggle, can they rely on their running game
and defense to win a game? No way, no way.
Defense is awful. So this is the Rams that if
if one of their parts of their game falters, they
have the rest of it. Okay, hey we're not throwing
(10:02):
the ball well today, but neither of them. We can
run the ball, play defense and win this game. Other
teams can't do it that way. That's why I like
the Rams. Man. You you're not You're not convincing. I'm
not convincing you, all right, that's fine. Now, can I
convince you on this? Jamal Adams is extremely overrated and
I played I told you so with Jamal Adams for
the last two years. Yeah, but you've been told on
(10:23):
a lot of things. We throw a lot of stuff
up in the air, and I got nobody keeps scoring. No, no,
like I gotta keep scoring. I have a better record
than the Mets, have a better I have a better
winning percentage in the White Sox of the playoffs is
I'm sorry, but we're in the playoffs? Was that? Was
that too? Look tonight at least as well as Matthew
(10:44):
Stafford played. This is the opposite side of it looking.
And we're gonna hear from Pete Carroll in a couple
of minutes. Russell Wilson with his finger injury. Look, he
hasn't missed the start since two thousand and twelve. Now
it's up in the air, but they do have ten
days between games right now. The big problem, though, it's
not when Russell Wilson comes back, everything's gonna be fine.
If it's a badly sprained finger, he should be able
(11:05):
to play in the next game. We'll talk to Jay
Glazer about it too. In a few minutes. But I'm
not worried about Russell Wilson as much as I worry
about the rest of the Seahawks, because I told you
the beginning of this season, this is not shaping up
to be that kind of year where suddenly where all
drama of the off season of Russell Wilson may want
out to suddenly ay, we're great again. They're struggling, their
defense is awful, they can't run the football, and it's
(11:28):
really been all Russell Wilson. And tonight you watch Jamal
Adams play after play get beat in coverage. And I've
told you this for two years. Jamal Adams is a
terrific box safety. He is really good against the running
game and when he can play eight yards away from
the line of scrimmage. But you be everybody who loves
Jamal Adams, like Jamal Adams is a good player. Is
(11:49):
he overrated? Extremely overrated because he doesn't have ball skills
and the Saint and and the Saints and the Seahawks
defense last year got lit up by opposing quarterbacks all
year long. You know why, use Jamal Adams is not
good against the past, and you watch him tonight get
beat repeatedly. The big reception by DeShawn Jackson for sixty
eight yards. I don't know what Joel Adams was doing.
(12:10):
He was like a Dorothy and the Wizard of It's
a twister. It's a twister, and I'm twurning and I'm
falling down, and it's how do you make a play
like that when you're looking back at the ball the
entire way? He that goes for sixty eight yards on
your guys, Stafford, on a really badly thrown ball. He
is a half of a good player. All right, I'm
not I'm still taking that sixty eight yards. I know
you're gonna take the sixty eight yards they gave him.
(12:32):
We have to watch what happens that Jamal Adams was
at fault. They gave him all that Well, it's not
my you gotta throw against the safety Year's house. They
gave him all that money. He doesn't have a sack,
and the Seahawks are giving up four and fifty yards
a game that's on pace to be the worst in
NFL history. Now, will they figure out a little bit, Sure,
because Pete Carroll's a good defensive coach, and they'll figure
out what they can do personnel wise, but it's not
(12:54):
going to be a big fix like it was last year.
And they're finding out that, oh man, we gave Jamal
Adams this money, we gave up f picks, and boy,
he really is limited. He's a guy that lived on
his stats and lived on his sacks and lived on
his tackles for loss. Like that's all that was with
Jamal allows with sacks and tackle Look at what he does.
He disrupted the line of scrimmage. Yeah, the other half
(13:15):
of the game. Being a safety, you gotta be able
to make plays on on on on thrown balls coming
your way. And he can't do it. He's not good enough.
He gets beat. He gets beat repeatedly. You're not better
in a secondary when he is playing there for you.
If he's playing near the line of scrimmage, great, but
he's a safety, so he's gotta play away from the
line of scrimmage. And this is when he gets beat.
It happens. He's overrated. The Seahawks went all in on
(13:37):
this guy, and that told you for two years this
is not someone you want to give this kind of
money to number one because he's a safety and unless
he's at Reid you don't have to pay safeties. You
can find somebody to play really well and well enough
that you don't have to worry about giving tons of
money to. It's just not a position you pay money
to in the NFL. So the Jets decided, Okay, he's
a safety, he's unhappy, we're gonna get two first round picks.
(13:58):
You go pay him. You don't think the serious one
to get out of that deal right now. If they
could get out of Jamal Adams contract, they would do
it in a second. In a second, they would say, hey,
New York take him back, and Jamal Adams is gonna go. Hey,
they're still selling my jerseys and fanatics dot com in
New York. I could get it. I know they're early
twelve dollars, but if I go back there like eighty
dollars a piece, this will workout. They would say goodbye
to him in a second if they could. Yeah. I
(14:19):
mean you just see how miserably uh that secondary plays
weekend week out today in the second half, As that
game started to get away defensively, you know they're still
in it, obviously, but when you're starting giving up the
big chunk yardage plays and he's stalking around and yelling
at teammates for missed assignments or missed UH switches. And
(14:43):
obviously we joked about it with our guys Softy from
KJR Last Hour. You can find that in all our content.
UH coming up in about an hour's time, Apple Podcast,
Google Play, wherever you get your audio. The biggest hit
he laid all night was on his own. Guy came
across the middle and got there a second late, so
he ended up blowing up the linebacker instead of really
(15:04):
making any impact on the play. Be sure to catch
live editions of The Jason Smith Show with Mike harmon
weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven pm Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio app Fox Sports Radio,
The Jason Smith Show with My best friend, Mike Harman
and t J. Certainly the Rams living a semi charmed
(15:25):
kind of life tonight against the Seahawks, d J. We
got Jay Glazer coming up in a few minutes, but uh,
let's hear from a little bit of Pete Carroll, Seahawks coach,
following the lost tonight, and look, all eyes and ears
are wondering what's next for Russell Wilson, the guy hasn't
missed a start since, but goes out of the game
tonight with a finger injury. Hits it on Aaron Donald's
(15:46):
hand after an incomplete pass in the third quarter, and
let's face it, a pass it could have flipped the
game because that was a sure fire seventy yard touchdown
to Tyler Lockett. That was just a little bit overthrown.
Will Russell will and be able to play in the
next game. Let's hear from talks about everything Seahawks following
the lost tonight they drafted. Yeah, get Pete. Carroll's mad,
(16:21):
that's nonsense. On a whole other level, he's mad. He's
still mad about that that overthrow. Who's he talking about?
I mean, the injury is bad enough, but I mean
the overthrow there. Yeah, oh no, no, no, that was
he was another play where you know, the ram secondary
(16:41):
got exposed. It is unfortunately the ball just fell harmlessly. Alright,
So now let's hear Carol. Let's see who who may
not be quite that angry anymore. Let's you know what, Alex,
Let's pick it up later in the in the Q
and A with the press break where he's not as
upset or can we do that they really disappointing. Uh
(17:03):
second half force. Uh, first half of the game kind
of went like we had hoped. We'd keep it close
and played tough and and see what would happen. We
had a chance to be up, you know, save the
penalty that that happened to us right at the end
of the half. A really nice two minute drive would
have capped it off. Well, Um, unfortunately we you know,
we didn't get that done. And then the second half
we just didn't know. We we had one monster play
(17:26):
that happened in the game, and we were in command
of the third and ten and and uh, and we
were on top of it and all that, and they
make they make uh you know, I don't know what
kind of play that was. Is a very fortunate play
and and it but it changed the field position and
gave them a chance and then they went ahead and
scored and took advantage of that. Um, that was a
huge play in the game, I thought. And uh, unfortunate,
(17:48):
the unusual game and that you know, we played defensively,
played really well and third down you know that that
was one of their two conversions in the game. And
usually that that gives you a really good chance to
play well like we did in the first half and
and uh, but there was just too many, too many
big plays Stafford, you know, hitting uh both Robert and
(18:09):
uh and Cooper over the middle. Uh. Those plays were
just field changing plays and again in behind us on
our owns. UH. And we didn't have the pressure to
to keep the ball to get it dumped down. So
it's just it's football stuff and UH, and the things
that we have to we have to fix, we have
to clean up, we gotta get better at and we
gotta make sure that we don't you know, we don't
allow that to happen again, because the second half was
(18:30):
a big explosion for them offensively and UH, we really
were we better control of that and really disappointed that
we let that happen. UM. I thought this is a
significant night because Russell wasn't able to finish the second half. Um,
he's got a badly sprained finger that that you know,
we need to figure out. Um, there's well work to
be done in assessing all of that. Russell was one
(18:53):
of the great healers in the in of all time
and and he'll do whatever you can to get back
as soon as absolutely possible. On the other side, of that.
General did a really really good job, very much in command.
We were able to do all kinds of things with
him out there. He handled all of the communications beautifully
and and played really well. And and uh, um, you know,
(19:13):
we had a chance to win the football game with
all of that. We have a chance to win the
football game with the ball in her hands and a
couple of minutes to go, and and unfortunately, you know,
we threw an interception with Tyler slips and gets tripped.
I don't know what happened on the play. I couldn't tell,
but I do know that they made the big play
that changed it. Um give them credit. They bounced back
from a loss last week, and they did a nice
(19:34):
job hanging in in this game and took advantage of
the opportunities when they came. And uh, you know that's
they're a good club and we know them and know that.
And uh so there's there's stuff for us to fix,
their stuff for me to fix. Um, there's there's areas
that are just jumped out that when they're able to
throw the ball over the middle like that. Um, they're
getting too much time and we have to and we
(19:55):
have two better job with our backers and we have
to get to the quarterbacks. So we had dumped the
football off and that did not happen in the second half.
And this has been a very good past protection team.
You know, they've only had three sacks all season, and
the quarterback doesn't get hit. And they were able to
do that in the second half and that gave them
the shot to get back in it, and they did it,
So more power to them. I love Pete Carroll's press
conference because it's all one big run on sentence and
(20:17):
I'm finished with this topic, and I'm going to this topic,
and I'm going to this one, and I'm going to
this one. Look, I love it. The end he says
that you know when Tyler slipped or was pushed you,
I I don't know about it, but I'm gonna move
on to that. Um. The thing about Russell Wilson is
that if he's got a badly sprained finger, I can't
see that keeping him out when they don't play for
another ten days. That's gonna be really if it was broken,
(20:39):
if it was surgery and there were pins inserted all that,
I I get it. I get that. Okay, that's gonna
be a bit and Gino Smith's gotta get ready to
play again, Gino Smith. But if it's a badly sprained finger,
I gotta think he's gonna play in their next game.
I'm not. I'm not too worried that much that Russell
Wilson's gonna miss this game. No, I would agree. There
were two great spots you mentioned the the one with
(21:00):
the slip push whatever, but also in describing the DeShawn
Jackson completion, because he wanted, he wanted to just go
after everybody right there, but he didn't. That's gonna be
behind closed doors at a time to be determined, because
that ball was a duck and should have either been
knocked down or intercepted with guys in there. Not. Hey
(21:23):
look what I found from DeShawn Jackson. Uh. But he
he did also make the point they only had two
third down conversions, two of ten, and absolutely backbreaking plays
both times, one of which was the DeShawn Jackson So
you have, uh those that stand out. Uh, frustration certainly
boiling over. You could tell you know, I maybe if
(21:46):
you'd caught him without the fifteen minute cool down, you
would have had the Rappaport like response talking about a
few of those players, right, because the frustration there and
he brought it up. And it's something I've been banging
the drum on, you know, just as a reminder to
you about the greatness of Matthew Stafford. Is uh throwing
from a clean pocket. Oh it's so clean. It's like
(22:07):
someone came in and did the whole Herman Edwards. Uh.
Not only did they sweep the middle of your floor,
but they got all the corners and edges too, and
all the spider webs and all of that. That's what
the offensive line is done for the Rams thus far.
And you can tell how frustrated Pete Carroll was because
it exposes, right, if you can't get any pressure at all,
it exposes your uh failures as an organization to upgrade
(22:31):
in your defensive backfield. Be sure to catch live editions

my bast friend Mike Harmon. Gonna look at what we
saw tonight in Major League Baseball, what we're gonna see tomorrow.
But first one and welcome in our new affiliate here,
Fox Sports Boisee, Boise's new home for sports. Part of
our takeover here, I'm gonna do the show from a
(23:36):
blue floor. Let's get couple of nights just just to
make Boise feel at home. Uh. CEO is Darryl Calton.
The operations manager is James Garner. I know there's like
a thousand things I want to say right there. Pete
Todd Kimmel, thanks so much. We will kick ass for you,
as we do every single night here. Welcome again in
Fox Sports Boys Boys, new home for sports. So awesome,
(23:59):
the continued exp bansion. Now we have to go visit Boise.
I'm telling you, I'm painting every four in my house. Blue. No,
I didn't add how about a fresca? Give us the
give us the lowdown of where we need to come eat. Uh. Now,
let's take a look at what we saw today in
Major League Baseball and look, Tampa beat Boston tonight five nothing.
This is kind of how I expect this series to go.
(24:21):
Tampa is a great team. There's the there's the the
image of Tampa as as small market overachiever. No, Tampa
is legit. Just go look at how many games they're
n win team every year. They are a better team
than the Red Sox. The Red Sox overachieved to get
to where they are. They beat the Yankees was very emotional.
(24:42):
This is a very workman like victory for the race
tonight beating Boston five to nothing. This is absolutely expected.
Maybe not as expected Mike Carmon your White Sox losing
to the Astros six to one on a scale of
one to ten, with one being hey, I'm not worried
at all. We're gonna win the next three and tend
being O, my gun, everything gets off. We gotta fire.
Tony LaRussa, No, no, no, that was that was your
(25:04):
your tail early and I'm off for it. I man,
you look, we're in that maybe six to seven range
where there's a little bit of trepidation. Disager had the
stat before, right, seventies six pitches seventy four or fastballs
from Lance Lynn against the fast ball hitting team. Uh
curious man. The one thing I guess you could fault
(25:26):
LaRussa for if you want, is the order of starters.
Maybe if you want to go down that road. But ultimately,
when you go out of your way to uh walk
guys to start innings, that usually ends up badly. Statistically,
we've seen that forever. Uh should Gildo have been the
first picture uh in the rotation to go or Dylan
(25:47):
Sees who we've talked about. Uh, Well, hindsight, all you
can do is uh trying to take some some wins
from the final couple of innings, even though you only
scratched out a run, You had runners on base and
you made some made Dusty Baker work at least a
little bit. But yeah, I'm I'm nervous. I mean, it's
a short series, so giving up one game when you're
(26:08):
going into Houston and you're still wondering, Hey, what else
could be? Remnants of an old system. Sorry, I gotta
do it, folks. Gotta of course, if all you do
is throw fastballs, you're gonna get hammered. But Alvarez and
Brantley and they executed a sacrifice, so I gotta give
him credit. They actually did some old school baseball like things. Uh.
(26:28):
In the win today. All right, I'll help you, buddy.
I'll pick Lucas to e Alito to pitch a no
hitter tomorrow. Help you like that. Uh, Dodgers and the
Giants like both the nlds where the world stops right,
you got a hundred and seven win team, hundred and
six win team. I picked the Dodgers to win the series,
and I'm gonna take the Dodgers in Game one. They're
(26:50):
pretty even across the board, right. The Dodgers match the
top of the lineup matches. The Giants mash all the
way through, not quite the level of Dodgers do. Both
bullpens are great. The Dodgers bullpen not quite as good,
but it's more battle tested. But this is where the
big edge lies for the Dodgers. Walker Bueller, who is
one of the best postseason pictures in the game. In fact,
(27:11):
outside of de gram. I don't know if there's a
guy I would take outside of Walker Bueller to pitch
a must win game. He has a big game tomorrow night.
Dodgers beat the Giants in Game one. Yeah, it's gonna
be funny to watch the Giants, right because we've watched
it all year waiting for it to collapse. And now
we're back to that part of the Caldon campaign in
the calendar where we have the different Dodger hero every night,
(27:34):
and well, this time it's actually gonna be the predictable guy,
and that's gonna be Walker Bueller pitching into the seventh
or eighth inning before we sweat Jansen. Whoa man, I
really want to be sweating Jansen, and I think we should.
I think every game, and you save a lot of time.
Just put every game, give the Dodgers a one run
lead going to the ninth inning, and put Kenley Jansen
(27:57):
out there. That's all you need to do. That's how
you do every game. Just advance to the narratives. Just
it's a one run, it's one nothing. We start the
game one nothing, top of the ninth inning or bottom
of the night thing, depending where top of the n
I think and that that's where you at and Kenley
Jansen's got to get out of it. I dig it.
What about Atlanta Milwaukee? Real quick? I'm going to take
Milwaukee because you know they're my surprise world, seriess I
(28:17):
have I have a wager on them. So yeah, see
you listen to me, buddy, I told you be it
was just completely independent of you. My brewers, my brewers,
my buddy Ben Mallard. Coming up next, Fox
