Three Boys Brewery won Exhibitor of the Year at this year's New Zealand Brewers Guild Beer Awards.
Owner Ralph Bungard believes most problems with alcohol over-consumption are linked to low prices.
Bungard told Heather du Plessis-Allan retailers use it as leverage to get people in stores to buy other products.
“If you advertise the price of alcohol, it certainly drives down the price and increases the volume that’s sold.”
