Students will now be feeling more confidence heading into exam season.

The Government's announced changes to award one learning recognition credit for every five earned through assessment.

Students working towards Level One can get up to 10 extra credits - with eight for those at Levels Two and Three.

Greater Wellington Principals Association Chair Kevin Carter joined Heather du Plessis Allan Drive to discuss the changes to NCEA.
