Paul Bloxham: HSBC Chief Economist on Australia's Reserve Bank lifting the cash rate - Heather du Plessis-Allan Drive

Australia's Reserve Bank has lifted its cash rate by 25 basis points to 2.85 percent.

The Central Bank says it remains resolute in its determination to get inflation back between 2 and 3 percent.

HSBC Chief Economist Paul Bloxham explained that this rate hike was mostly expected, according to data from economists.
