The Seattle Seahawks have shut down the New England Patriots to win the 60th edition of the Super Bowl in California.

The Seahawks have claimed a 29-13 win, keeping the scoreboard ticking over with four field goals to have a 12-nil lead before the game's only touchdowns came in the final quarter.
