Chairman David Kirk's accepting responsibility for a worldwide search for a New Zealand Rugby CEO that has ended with them promoting one of their own.

Community rugby boss and interim chief executive Steve Lancaster is the new boss, ending a months-long search for a replacement for Mark Robinson.
