Calls to scrap pre-departure tests are getting louder as the latest horror story emerges.
A Kiwi visiting Sydney for work had his pre-departure PCR test to get back into NZ denied because it was recorded one minute earlier than the 48 hour threshold.  
He got customs to review the decision, but customs rejected it.
