Irene King: Aviation commentator on Air New Zealand announcement of direct flights between Auckland and New York - Early Edition with Ryan Bridge

Air New Zealand has announced it is starting it's non-stop flights from Auckland and New York in September. 
It will be one of the longest flights in the world, taking around 16 hours. 
But government and Air New Zealand say American tourists are the key to our tourism recovery.
