In the first episode of our second season, Matthew Temple, Director of Alumni Career and Professional Development at the Kellogg School of Management and an iRelaunch Advisory Board member, interviews Carol Fishman Cohen about the history of iRelaunch and its Return-to-Work Conference. From its early days following the publication of the book, Back on the Career Track, iRelaunch has grown to become the leader in career reentry initiatives helping employers identify and recruit professionals looking to return to work after career breaks and helping those professionals gain the confidence and skills they need to be successful in today's workforce. Carol talks with Matthew about the value of the one-day Return-to-Work Conference as a way to bring employers and relaunchers together for inspiration, education and networking. The day is more than inspiration and motivation. Carol talks about the concrete tips and advice employers and career relaunch professionals share with relaunchers such as what to say when an interviewer asks about an employment gap. Murder, infidelity, suicide, arson, overdose, religious cults, drug trafficking; this podcast explores the alleged true crime antics and criminal connections of musicians we love like Jerry Lee Lewis, The Rolling Stones, Tay K-47, Tupac Shakur, Mayhem, Amy Winehouse and many more. Why? Because real rock stars are more like feral, narcissistic animals than functioning members of society and that is precisely what makes them so damn entertaining. If you love true crime and you love music then get ready to love this podcast.
