On this special interview episode, Sean is joined all the way from Toronto, Canada via Zoom by Miranda De Pencier, the director of the latest based on a true story sports film, The Grizzlies(In cinemas across Australia and New Zealand from March 18). They discuss the resurgence of Indigenous and Inuit Canadian cinema, the work the crew did in Inuit communities outside of making the film, the challenges of a non-indigenous person telling an indigenous centric story and responding to the criticisms of the film having a "white saviour" narrative. It's an entertaining and informative chat that we hope you all enjoy.
