While hunters commonly pursue 6 different species of deer in the UK (red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, sika deer, Chinese water deer, and muntjac deer), James and I focused our discussion today on the 3 smaller species from that group: Roe, Muntjac, and Chinese Water Deer. Those last two species are especially unique looking creatures that are sometimes referred to as vampire deer.
