(00:47):
me. Welcome all, mel Hazan, everybody, Hi everyone, thank you
for the introducing me like that. That's amazing. Well, people should know
that you've been an actor. Youare first of all, you come from
Israel. You're Israeli actor. I'mgoing to get into what's happening in Israel
first and foremost. Our hearts hereat iHeartRadio. I'm an Israeli American you
know, my father's Israeli. Wehave our crew, and my heart goes

(01:11):
out to you and your family andthe families that have been lost in Israel
and our people and the Jewish people, and we're going to get into you
know, how is that going foryou? First and foremost? That's well,
yeah, I'm actually I'm broken.I'm said, it's hard times right
now, like all my friends andfamily are like in Israel right now,

(01:32):
hard times. I lost some friends. There's another friends of mine in the
army right now. Oh wow,I am so sorry to hear this.
This is a very it's very difficult, I think for all of us as
a Jewish people. Do you feellike a lot of people are saying it's
anti Semitism? A lot of peopleare saying, of course it's terrorism.
That the main goal of Hamas isto end the Jewish state, but not

(01:56):
only starter and there, it's totake over the world with Islam and and
with control, money and power. How do you feel have you ever felt
this much anti semitism for Israelism, the Jewish people and also this bad?
Has it been this bad you livingin Israel? Yeah? Absolutely, Like
since I was a kid, itwas the same situation. Like even the
movie that I'm played in Danie movieThe Engineer, it's talking about the same

(02:20):
situations, the terror organization that tryingto bomb Israel and trying to attack us
and trying to attack the israel peopleand the Jewish people as well, and
not just us, actually worldwide, like there's Americans right now, there's Germans,
peoples, German cities, and there'sa lot of cities, and that's
not just Israeli and Jewish. Butyeah, since some kid, I'm feeling
the same situation, and it's veryhard, very sad, and I really

(02:45):
really pray for better days. Ido too. We all pray for better
days and we listen, we pray. Also, you know, I think
it's a very hard conflict. Likeyou said, you were born in it,
you're still going through it. Ido you think they'll be change?
Do you think they'll be there ishope for peace with ISRAELI is an innocent
Palestinians to reside without terrorism constantly happening. Actually, I'm really optimic a person,

(03:09):
Like all the time, I'm reallyreally pray for peace and praying for
my people and praying for all thehumans in the world. You know,
we just want to leave peacefully. We just want to smile. We just
want to have fun. Even rightnow, like in Israel. If you
don't know, I hope you know. It was a festival, like a
really really really huge festival five minutesfrom the border with Gaza, three thousands

(03:34):
of people. They just want toleave peacefully. They just want to dance.
They just want to smile, hugeach other. And the terror organization
Hamas just get inside Israel like acrossthe border and killed so many people,
so many innocent people. And youknow, we're just trying to live in
peace. We just want a peace. We just want to have fun and

(03:55):
to dance like the people in theparty. And I really send love and
really send hope to their families rightnow, to all the kidnap people that
right now in the in the inthe under the commercial organization. And I
hope, so I hope. SoI really pray about it. I really
too, right, I know,we don't have an answer just yet.

(04:15):
So we're praying love for safety,we're praying for our soldiers for Yalim.
And you know, it's just interestingthat now you have the movie that's out
that's called The Engineer with Danny A. Danny A directed it and acts in
it. With you you're one ofthe main actors. Talk to us a
little bit about your role in themovie and how you got involved, Like
what the what the movie is about. To some people who aren't privy to

(04:39):
that, it's also about Israeli movie. They need to see the movie.
Everyone here, you have to seeEveryone has to check out this movie.
I watched it twice. It's oneof my favorite movies out there. I
love it. It has a lotof twists and turns and action and thriller
and you know, suspense, whichis great, but it's also you know,
Danny always uh why. What Ilove about his work and love about

(05:00):
him as a person is he alwayschooses real stories, based on true events,
based on true stories, and thenwe get to see it from that
side. So it was interesting.Even though I was priving, I knew
I had knowledge to all the whatwas happening in the suicide bombing, I
didn't know as much that it hadto start with the engineer himself that started
this war with terrorism. And againI think it's a it's everyone keeps saying,

(05:24):
is really and Palestinian conflict but it'sreally the war on terrorism, right,
because ye are extremists, So talk, so talk to us about how
you got involved. Yeah, it'sreally cool and you're you are. Let
me tell you, guys, everybodyin the city all mel is such a
sensation. You are amazing, actible, You're amazing in it. There's so

(05:44):
many questions because I know you've donemore films before it, which is amazing
because it's an Israeli American film.Tell us, tell us how you got
involved before we get into the historyof your acting. All right, So
first of all, shout out toDannie. This movie is amazing. From
the shout out, this movie isamazing, amazing. It's based on a
real story about the terrorist. Hewas one of the biggest terrorists ever in

(06:08):
Gaza. He's trying to hurt theisrael people and trying to send bomb and
suicide things inside of Israel. Andthis story is about two groups that trying
to find him and trying to,you know, to stop this terrorism war.
And I'm part of one of thegroup with Avi and Gilly. I'm
playing Levy and you're gonna, Idon't think if they're gonna recognize me because

(06:32):
I look more different. Yeah, but they recognize. Yeah. I like
the beard by the way, buthe's still hot and without one fighting off
terrorists. I think that's really agreement. Yes, yes, imagine that's how
like you're like, oh my god, my hero, he's fighting for me.
All of a sudden, the girlsare like, he's fighting for me.

(06:54):
We're like, no, bit,he's fighting for Israel. So it's
really interesting. Also how you guyslike blend in with the Arabs as well.
You see like as some scenes.I'm not gonna give it away.
I'm not gonna but because you guyshave to watch it. You have to
watch, you know wild it's alot of education. You're gonna get a
lot of the Other thing I loveabout Danny a is that he is not
biased when he writes scripts or movies. The narrative comes from the truth.

(07:16):
It's not about what his opinion opinionis, you know what I'm saying.
So I think it's important for people, even though we all have an opinion
on it, I think it's importantfor people to watch it and really get
the grasp of how Yeah, andI think it's a idonic it's not an
amazing explanation for right now like thosefor this situation because because it's still the
same story. It's still a groupof people then trying to hurt people.

(07:40):
It's still the same story. SoI think it's amazing for right now,
for the conflict to everyone to understandwhat happening right now in Gaza and Israel
and all this situation and Hamas andeverything, and really you have to watch
it in those days because it's reallyimportant, really important information and also amazing
story. And right because history repeatsitself, right because it started with suicide

(08:01):
bomb bombers, then that stop. Now this is more of a massacre of
random acts of violence shooting. Thatdoesn't mean I think we forget because we
don't remind ourselves. And you're right, we got to keep reminding ourselves by
watching these movies, by creating thesemovies. What I think also the movie
have the option to, like Iread a lot of stories in the world

(08:24):
like oh real, and when yousee something and not imagine it, it's
make you feel like more comfortable withthis situation and more information to understand it,
you know what I mean? Andwhen I seen movies like that,
and because of that, I recommendedon this movie. You can really understand
how the people walking, like howthe people think, how the people are

(08:45):
trying to do some stuff, becauseI really I'm talking with everyone right now,
everyone all over the world, andpeople don't like they didn't understand,
Like they asked me, like whywhy they did it? Why they do
it, like what Israeli did aswell, like why it's happening. And
I said, like, I reallydon't know how to explain to you.
They just do it like there's noexplanation. I know it's hard to understand

(09:05):
it, but there's no explanation tothis, to those situations. So the
movie is really explaining that as well. How did you develop? So how
did you get prepared for your character? Because obviously it hits so close to
home I can imagine you know, was it easier because you've been through this
your whole life? You know, you've been in a country where this this
has been happening your whole life.I mean, what did you have to

(09:26):
do to prepare for the part? And how did you mentally cope because obviously,
and you seem so great, somentally it could take over a lot
of people, you know, itcould be you know, emotionally disturbing yeah.
Yeah. So first of all,the most important thing that was to
me is to prepare myself to beto look like a real soldier, like

(09:50):
I met some training. I turnedabout how to shoot a gun, I
turn about anything everything because I reallywant to the crowd to believe me.
Know important, right. I didn'tbelieve you, by the way, which
is why I want to ask youall these questions. And you're like,
wait a minute, I'm not real, I'm not really in the army,
but you really it does. Askme about it like everything you want to

(10:13):
worry on the army And I waslike no, no, no, I
know, but you're so believable.Sorry, so go on. You trained
with them, Yeah, I trainedwith the army. I trained with a
lot of friends of mine. Itwasn't the army as well. So they
teach me a lot of things. They teach them a lot of technical things.
And it was really important to meas an actor to be a professional
like always, that's the most themost important thing is to me as an

(10:35):
actor to be professional, to tomake the crowd believe to me, to
my job, to to my acts. So that's the first thing. U.
The second one was really to getall the information that I have about
those situations, because I did Iwasn't exist in those days, uh and
all. It's one of the mostfamiliar stories ever. So I really tried

(10:58):
to get all the information and everythingto to really answer to everyone that you're
gonna ask me about those situations, and to really understand the conflict that was
in those days, and to reallyreally trying to understand the psychologists inside of
a lot of things, like tobe a soldiers, to to act like

(11:20):
someone like like to be to pretendthat you're an Arab again inside Gaza,
it's really dangerous. Just imagine thereis a real real people. They're doing
it, like I have a lotof friends they're doing it as well.
So you need to understand the psychologistsinside the character, like how you how
you're gonna act, How you're gonnathink, Like how you gonna how are
you gonna talk Arabic? Like youknow, you need to to pronounce it

(11:41):
good because if the other side isgonna recognize that you are not Arabic,
it's gonna kill you. There's alot of things that you need to understand
and to need to need to learn. You know, Yeah, I think
there's a lot more. That's thething that there's a lot more to what's
going on than we know where wewant to know. Yeah, a information
you're one hundred percent right, iswhat is what's going to help us through,

(12:01):
especially with how you prepare for acharacter like that in the movie to
to convey the right person to conveythe truth of what a soldier is,
right, because you want everybody tosee how hard it was for somebody those
days to have to write. Theycould lose their life if they if one
syllables off. I remember my dadwas telling me the stories when he went
to the army, that that scenethat you have where you're pretending to be

(12:22):
Arab, you know undercover, thatit really happened. But I only heard
those stories. I never experienced them. So it's very It gives me goosebumps
to know that it could still exist. It still exists. Yeah, so
that's amazing that you did. Imean, how was it playing with other
Arab actors where there were Arab actors, you know, it was amazing,
amazing. I'm trying to explain topeople Arabs and Israel people, we have

(12:46):
peace between us. It's not likeeveryone that came from outside to Israel.
They say like, oh, there'sa be conflict. No there is.
There is a lot of friends ofours that Arabs Israel together everyone, we
really pray for peace. Just aboutthat, all the terrorists and all the
people that want to hurt everyone, everyone, everything that we want. It

(13:07):
doesn't matter who, like, wehave the warning. That's the warning you
need to emphasize, right, it'snot it's everyone. I mean, do
you think it has to do withso with Gaza? Why can't people are
asking why can't they just have thatbe Palestine in order to create even more
peace? Or do you think itdoesn't matter? It's money and control where
no matter what we do we cangive them, even Israel still not going

(13:28):
to stop. That's what I tryto explain to people. We can give
them as weel and it won't stop. But even but that's not fair too,
because we deserve, we deserve asa Jewish state to have our little
small state. You know, Look, I just want to explain something that's
very important. Yeah, we havejust one place, just one place to
live, and you're trying to livepeacefully in this place for real. We

(13:52):
just pray every day to wake upin the morning and leave at peace,
leave our life together. We don'tmatter, like, we don't have problem
with anyone. We really want tolive with everyone in peace. That's the
thing. And I don't know,I really, I really pray that right

(14:13):
now, right now, it's goingto be a solution to this thing,
because it's really really really sad, this situation. It's really broke my heart.
For you, you know, itbreaks our heart. Is there anything
we can do? I know you'reposting a lot on your social media.
It's just amazing. You're posting factsand knowledge and how we can help,
and how we can donate anything thatyou want to share with our audience that
we can help support Israel more, support our soldiers, support, you know.

(14:37):
Just pray, just pray and sendfor really, just send love to
my people. They need it rightnow, they really really need it.
Just imagine right now there is onethy two hundred people that got killed,
murdered in Israel. Just imagine howmany families are right now broken. There
is a lot of friends of minethat's broken as well. Just in love.

(15:00):
I have no idea how much powerpower you have those days to spread
love and pray for us and forreally, it's it's really important, You're
amazing, No, really, omenand they can follow you. Where can
they follow you? So they canalso check out your stuff because I want
you guys to check his Omehrazan's socialmedia. Not because he only has over
three hundred and eighty six thousand followers. It's not gonna be We're not gonna

(15:22):
be vain here. But not becausehe has beautiful photos. Because you're an
activist and you're amazing, and you'rehelping us and you're you give back and
they can really get some knowledge insome facts. So where can they follow
you on Instagram? They can followme in Instagram under the name Omarhagan on
om and check out his more, his his shows, his movies. Now

(15:43):
we're gonna change gears. We are. We're praying, guys, send your
thoughts, your prayers to not onlyOmera Hazzan's friends who are soldiers right now
fighting for our country, fighting forthe Jewish state, fighting for humanity,
okay, because this is a waron humanity against terrorism, but also for
the Jewish people, the lost lives, the Israeli lives that are lost,
the Palestinians' lives that are innocent thatdo want to end terrorism want to end

(16:06):
their government. But we also wanteverybody to hold accountability. That's why it's
important to vote for the right government, the right people in the government,
the right president. To know wherewhat we're doing, where are we putting
our money, where we you know, who are we supporting, who is
not supporting us? You know, these are all important things. And educating
yourself by watching movies like The Engineerand where does it start from? You

(16:27):
know, do you feel like wehave the right to defend ourselves? I
know that. I mean, sinceyou were a kid, did you feel
in the acting business that you hadto go through a lot of hate or
no, like because already the actingbusiness is cut throat, but just for
being Israeli, for being Jewish,or you felt welcomed, you know,
for now, like for all thoseyears, I'm feeling okay with that,

(16:49):
you know, I'm feeling supported.I feeling it doesn't matter because it doesn't
matter. Like for really, itdoesn't matter. I'm a human being,
you are a human being. Itdoesn't matter our religion where we came from.
Like I'm an actor, it doesn'tcare like nothing, what is my
religion where I'm from? I justwant to act and that's it. And
I think that the people understanding itright now and there is a really really

(17:10):
good good direction right now for allthe people, because I feel like right
now there's more accepting people and moreand more supporting each other. And yeah,
confrying for acceptance. Yeah, justwrite this to leave this story.
That's it. Just to leave andeveryone doing what you want. That's it's
in peace. Tell us about let'sswitch gears a little bit here about acting

(17:33):
in general. How did you getinto acting? And you know, why
did you start? What? Didyou always want to do it since you
were a kid. Wow? Soso actually it's amazing story. I was.
I was a footballer. I was. I played football when I was
a kid, not American football, all right, there is a football in
Europe. It's called football, butyou call it soccer. That's fine,
he gets here. So I playedsoccer when I was when I was eight

(17:59):
years old, and I don't know, I was always loved shows and to
do some to do some actings andstuff. And then when I was nine
years old, I said to mymom, Mom, I want to be
an actor, and she just lookat me and said, what the heck,
what are you talking about? Likeyou're nine years old. Shut up.
And I was like, no,no, no, I really want
to be an actor. That's mydream, Like I want to be in
shows and stages and stuff, andI want to be in Hollywood. She

(18:22):
thought that I'm crazy, but likea good mom, she say to me,
all right, let's go for it. So I was going to learn
acting, and I started to gointo auditions and stuff, and then I
get some roles and I started toact in Israel. And when I was
fifteen, sixteen something like that,I started to be famous in Israel and

(18:44):
started to walk a lot as anactor. And right now I'm starting to
break here the breakout heartcrab. Iwas coming to you. Yes, yes,
but that's amazing because you knew whatyou wanted. You know, most
of us. I knew that Iwanted to be an actress at that age.
But my mom, as you grewup in a Jewish is really home,

(19:06):
It's like, what are you talkingabout? What do you mean you
want to be an actress? Yougot to mean, first of all,
you got to get married, Papababy, marry a lawyers. So that's
amazing that you knew as a youngkid, like this is what I want
to do. This is what I'mgoing for, and then you were consistent.
So look at what I want theaudience to know. They always ask
me, how do you become whatyou become? I think it's consistency.

(19:29):
I think it's going for what youwant. You know, like everyone asking
me like how I started and howI'm how I'm in this position right now,
And I said, every time likeI got I got a light from
God and I really feel it inmy bones, you know, like I
feel like I got in a messageand you need to be an actor,
go for it, walk hard. And since I was a kid, I
came from nothing, like for real, from nothing, and I'm starting to

(19:52):
to you know, to go toeditions and stuff and walk out and I
get like a thousands of no's,a thousands for real, one thousands on
thousand thousands like for real. Somany years until I was sixteen, no
one believing me, you know whatI mean, Like no one. I
got an audition and I got arole and stuff. But that like the

(20:14):
the most the most important thing thatpeople need to understand. There's no more
there's like there's more knows than yes, you know, like in my job
right now you see a one TVshow, one movie, two TV shows,
and just imagine how many knows Iget, you know, like in
a thousand one right, just toget regecting so much in my life and

(20:37):
consistencies the best world that you canset and walk hard and believe in yourself.
Believe in yourself like one percent youhave just yourself. How did you,
right? How did you feel whenyou did get those nose? I
mean, how did you what's youradvice to actors and you know artists out
there when they're getting rejection or they'renot getting what they want, but they

(20:59):
see that everybody like other people arewhat is the what is the advice?
I guess what do we do?All? Right? So I always tell
it to people. It's a goodnow, it's it's a really amazing advice.
It's really helped me to not geta depression or anxiety from the nose
and stuff, because to get arejection it's really hard for us, Like

(21:19):
like it's someone say to you you'renot good enough, and we are a
human being. It's really hard tous to to think that we are not
good enough and right to be betterevery time. That's that's our race.
We all all the time. Wewant to be better. So my advice
is one of the best advices thatI ever get if I get a know.

(21:40):
In addition, I just say tomyself, all right, they're lost,
they're loss, all right, likethey lose me, you know what
I mean, Like it's not me, all right, you don't want me.
I'm sorry about it for you.Like me if I was in your
show right now, I couldn't makeit like for something so so good.

(22:00):
So take it other one. Takesomeone else. That's fine, you know,
just just to pretend to pretend thatit's their loss, you know what
I mean, their loss if theydidn't choose you, someone else is gonna
win in you, you know whatI mean. I love that that is
true because that you could go crazywith the nose and the rejection is brutal.

(22:23):
It could be brutal, you know, but you're right, the more
you go through it, the moreyou're gonna get a yes, or that
one yes is going to be theopen door. So see, that's why
most people don't do it because excuseme, they can't get that. They
can't deal with the rejection. Yeah, that's the most hard thing in the
world, even for me, likewhen I was a kid, for me
to get a rejection was like veryhard, Like I was crying. I

(22:45):
was like freaking out. Then whyit's happening to me? Maybe I'm not
good enough and maybe I need tocreate and no, no, just continue
to walk hard. Just believe inyourself, believe in God. Everything is
gonna happen. Like take your time, you know what I mean time,
Take your time, right, Everything'sgoing to happen because look what right now
you have a Netflix series called Bros. In Israeli one, which is so

(23:07):
makes me so proud that, firstof all, Netflix has not had an
Israeli series right until this first show. Talk to us about how you got
involved, talked to us about yourcharacter. When can we tune in?
I want everybody to listen up,you guys better. It really helped me
support my Israeli Okay, this isso cool, like such a such a
reward. It's something to be proudof as a minority group. And then

(23:30):
now you're the number one israel whichNetflix and just in general programming in America
doesn't really showcase Israeli shows because givenIsrael, my father has the Israeli Channel.
You guys, have even your ownchannel, So yeah, talk to
us about how important it is.Tell us how you got involved. This
is so exciting, all right. For me, it's so exciting because it's
really the first one that Netflis gotinvolved from the first time. Yeah,

(23:52):
so I'm really exciting about it.And this is a good story about working
hard and to be with Corey becauseI know, all right, the first
TV show that I ever did waswith two guys. Their name is Hanan
Saona and Guy Amir. All right, the most talented people in Israel.
They have a lot of movies,a lot of TV shows, and I

(24:14):
was in nine years old when Iplayed in those in this TV show as
full wow, I was, Iwas nice. So I know that very
well. And we was in awedding like two years ago, and uh,
there was we were talking about whatwe're chad think about, like,
oh, we did a TV showwhen I was nine years old. Now
we're all like we need to walkagain and stuff and blah blah blah.

(24:36):
And they did look at each otherand I said what I said, No,
No, No, you're too youngfor that. I said, what
what do you want? What doyou mean? No? Right now we're
working a TV show and we werelooking for someone that needs a specific role.
It's something about barman. It canbe a barman. I said,

(24:56):
wait, one moment. So wewas in a wedding, so there's a
bar there, so I said, wait is one momute, one moment,
and I get inside the bar andI'm trying to be and I tried to
be a barman, like for tenminutes, I tryed to give everyone drinks
and stuff and shots and shout andeveryone, and like all the bar was
looking at me like I'm crazy,Like what are you doing? I said,

(25:17):
like, wait, five minutes, wait five minutes, all right,
I'm going in five minutes. Justgive me the checks, like this is
my audition, okay, don't needptargy please, all right, don't start
start with me. I'm getting yourcustomers drunk, okay. Yeah. And
for ten minutes, for ten minutes, I just made drinks for everyone and
shots and trying to do some stuffwith the bottles. And it was crazy,

(25:41):
and I have the video of themthere was looking at me like I'm
crazy. All right. So afterten minutes ago outside the bar and they
said we need to talk tomorrow. And then tomorrow we did the meeting,
three of us, and I didan audition a little bit, a little
one, and I got to go, wow, you see how I'm see
that is an amazing story because it'sso powerful, you know, because we're

(26:03):
all scared. We always ask shouldI when I meet a director, I
meet a producer, Should I followup with them? Should I email them?
Yes? Should I ask them forlunch? Should I ask them for
dinner? You know? And Ithink the minute they see you, that's
when you follow up on the meeting. That's when you get together to see
if you're and that's when you canget the role instead of being scared and
saying no, I'm not ready. No, maybe if I email them,

(26:25):
they're not gonna like me. I'malways like that. I always take the
risks and then if it doesn't workout, then it's like you apologize after
you know you have you have tohave to. Yeah, you can be
successful person like if you're not takingrisks, you know, you have to
you have to be with courage. You have to show yourself. You have
to shining every day. Keep shiningevery day, keep showing yourself, you

(26:48):
know, keep show yourself. Likeme, it's hard to shine though,
don't you feel in this industry sometimesbecause everybody is me, me, me,
me, Yeah, because it's hardto shine because because most of the
people they're like they takers, they'renot keevers, you know what I mean,
They really take from you to shining. And you start and try to
shine, but everyone like take itfrom you. But for real, just

(27:11):
just do it. Just keep shining, keep showing yourself, keep be the
light that you are, you knowwhat I mean? Yeah, because it's
really important in those days. It'sreally important because everyone trying to hide himself
under the masks, you know, always, And that's where we work on
this podcast and even in therapy likethe mental health, it's more about right,
not being afraid to shine and beingable to use your connections and pitching

(27:33):
yourself to your connections and saying, hey, I can be a good bartender.
I could be a good bar man, just give me a chance.
And then you're in a Netflix seriesand or the movie The Engineer, Well
with Danny were you guys? Didyou guys meet through mutual friends or it
was more like people pitched you tohim and then you got yeah, we
meet each other a little bit before, but after the movie would become like

(27:57):
really really close friends. Amazing humanbeing for real, is an amazing human
being, is vibe, it's somethingelse for real. It's you, all
of you. I love you becauseyou're always about not rules, It's about
I'm going to give you a chancebecause I believe in you. That's what
he's about, you know. Imean as he directed the Engineer, did

(28:18):
you feel like you guys would likedid you kind of give your ideas too?
Because I know he works with actorsas well, like you know,
making sure that they're heard and youknow, you know they're invested, you
know, yes, so like reallyfor this role, it just it just
really trusts me and give me theopportunity, give me the opportunity to do
what I'm thinking about. And forsure, like when he had something to

(28:41):
say to me, he was sayingto me in the most like gentleman way
to say it. Because it's areally amazing human being and really amazing director
as well. But for me towork with him, to work with the
cast, what was an amazing experiencefor Will? For Will, it was
amazing. It was it was it'sfeeling like like I'm in like the set

(29:03):
was home. You know what Imean, and it's really important to an
act, to me as an actorbecause when you feel a home of filing,
when the director gives you the goodfeeling, like I trust on you,
go for it, you know whatI mean? Like push you.
It's make you a better actor, you know. Yeah, you have to
feel like you're at home, you'reright welcome. Yeah, you're never going

(29:26):
to feel like you can do yourbest when you're just don't feel welcomed at
a place, you know what Imean. It's so right, that's a
great that's a great advice. Bythe way, in seven minutes, it
might end, but then we'll rego on it. It's a finalize to
finish for sure. Tell us aboutyour experience on the Netflix show. How
did it? You know? How? Tell us also a little bit about

(29:47):
what the show is about and howwas the experience like filming? All right,
So, first of all, itwas a secret. I didn't know
it's for Netflix, a thing like, yeah, I did. I did
the show and after like one yearthey said to me, oh are you
ready? I said, all right, yes, it's for Netflix. And
I was shocked. I was shockedbecause I didn't you when I shoot this.

(30:10):
Uh, it was amazing. Forwell, I know them since I
was nine, and they really genius, genius writers and directors as well.
It was a pleasure to walk withthem. And I think it's gonna be
a really really huge TV show likeWorldwide. For sure. It's funny,
it's dramatic, it's everything. It'severything, and my role there is very

(30:33):
interesting. You know, I don'tknow how much I can tell, but
but but I'm a little bit troublemaker, you know what I mean.
I'm a little bit of tribal tralike the bad boy. You're the bad
boy boy. That's that's that's thething, that's the thing. You saw
neighbors. Yes, all right,so it's kind of it's kind of Zach
Effron a role that is very verynice. But you know what I mean,

(30:57):
get you in trouble like he's thelife of the party, he's the
party. Guys. Oh, Isee that. That's great. That's so
cool because you could play really whichis so cool that you're going from the
engineer, right, you're playing likean action figure serious, you know,
soldier, and then you go fromthat to you know, the neighborhood boy.

(31:18):
And I'm kidding with the neighborhood. You know, life life for the
party, but you can get awaywith everything, but then I know you
in real life. We by theway, we had the pleasure of partyings.
Shout out to our friend Stevie Gutman, who's amazing. Let's always the
life of the party. Has sucha vibe. By the way, check

(31:40):
out Star Child Lounge Rooftop. It'sin the city. It's amazing at the
Civilian Hotel if you guys want togo out. We celebrated your premiere there
the Engineer. We had so muchfun. But you know, it's just
we were together and like you arejust so genuine and such a good boy.
You can also come off as likelike the perfect on pa man on
paper to your Jewish parents, likeI want the Jackpop Mama, you know

(32:07):
what I mean. But you're sopolite and so kind, so you deserve.
I just want people to learn, and sometimes people are not the same
in the movies the way they areoff camera, but they should be.
Yeah, they should learn from peoplelike you. That's why I bring people
like you guests on my podcast sothey can learn how to become a well
rounded more. It's not just aboutbecoming a great actor or whatever you do,

(32:28):
but it's about being also a greathuman being, you know, as
much as we can. Thank youvery much. Yeah, that's that's the
thing. Like my parents always saythat to me when I was a kid.
It doesn't matter what they're doing, you know, it doesn't matter if
you're a billionaire, if you're afamous actor, if you're like, it
doesn't meant lawyer, doctor, Itdoesn't matter. Be a human being before

(32:50):
everything. Be nice, Be kindbecause we need kind people, you know
what I mean, We need it. And for me as nectar to get
roles like that, like very differentfrom me, Like I can be soldiers
in the engineer and I can bea fun boy in that. How do
you say boy in Hebrew? Again? Or is that how do you say

(33:13):
playboy? Playboy in Hebrew? Allright? Do we even have that?
Do you guys even have that?Americans are so we're so raunchy? What's
wrong with that? No? Weactually if I'm going to translate to it's
gonna fund really really bad. Okay, we better not translated. Yeah,
it's better to keep it like that. Do Israelis have slang like I feel

(33:34):
like, do we do you havethe culture of like THEO how is the
dating Let's talk about the dating culturethere? I mean, like, is
it as bad as in when America? Where you know, are you into
relationships? You are you single?Like I don't know. I don't know
what the situation in the States aboutdating too much. I'm literally here two
years like back and forward. ButI have no time to waste about it,

(33:58):
you know what I mean. Butyou don't have time to day.
Yeah. So, so in Israel, everyone is so warm, you know
what I mean, Like everyone isso welcoming. Everyone likes so open,
you know what I mean. Likeeveryone was like, love you for no
reason, like for real, youcan you can meet like me, even
me and you we met like forfive minutes and was like, I love
you. My sister probably like andstuff. You know what I mean.

(34:20):
It's really our culture to be tobe very warm, to be very welcoming,
and I'm really happy about it inIsrael. And and that's that's amazing.
And about this slank, Yeah,we have a lot of stank in
Israel. I I I think thatyou know some yeah, I know some?
And I what is your back leank? What is your favorite length?
In Ibra? I feel like Let'ssee, there's so many, Like I'm

(34:44):
trying to say, I think there'sso many. There's so many. What
do you have one? Yeah, for sure, it's the most food.
Of course. Like sometimes in comedyI'll say it right after my set and
they're like, what the fuck didyou do? You know? But that's
the other thing, is like Iwant to start. I love having Israeli
friends too, so because it helpsme become more committed to my culture.

(35:06):
My dad, you know, isan Israeli Iraqi Jew, but he was
born in Israel. He lived inIsrael his whole life, came as an
immigrant to the States. So andby the way, he's a musician.
So that's how I was raised arounda lot of arts. And so it's
important that we have slaying and wetalk to each other and like pebre and
this, you know, so peoplefeel comfortable to know there's other people out
there representing us that are like likeher. You know. Yeah, we

(35:28):
are small, like we're small percentagein this universe. We're like fifteen million
something like that, like sixteen allright, just imagine we are like even
not one one percentage in this world. You know. So when I see
you, when I met someone likefor my country, for my religion.
So it's like very very happy tome. And I think, by the

(35:51):
way, dating wise, it's hardbecause you're right, we do come from
such a warm culture in America. For me, from my perspective, I
feel like men aren't used to awoman being so warm and like opening,
and they're like, wait a minute, I'm not getting married to you.
I'm like, I know, Ijust wanted to get you a bagel.
Come down. I just wanted todo a bit about you know what I
mean, Like I didn't even butthat's how they think because they're not used

(36:14):
to this like warm like you know, heevre like we're homies. It doesn't
mean we have to date, whichis what I love about you because you're
very mature emotionally. You're like,oh I can I can love Chanel and
we can hang out. But itdoesn't mean it has to be this or
that. I'm just talking about thedating culture, you know. I just
I just think that that for whatI know in America, like there is

(36:36):
no love for no reason, youknow what I mean. Like if I
if I'm like sharing love to agirl, she think that I'm interested,
but no I'm just sharing. Soas I said, like in America,
when you when you say to agirl I love you, you really think
that you like want to married her, you know what I mean. So
me like I'm very warm, likeyou know, I'm very like in Israel,
he said all the time. Andit's like I love you, love

(37:00):
you, love you, I loveyou. So we hear it's not the
same game. So sometimes that yousend you to person I know, I
love you, she's like real, like for you, you you really love
me? And I was like, yes, what the deal, Like do
you want to be my boyfriend?Like no, no, no, I
just love you, like like isa person is a human being? You
know what I mean? Right,is a love? Yeah? That I

(37:21):
think that was like a very bigculture shock, especially between me and my
ex boyfriends my recent too, Likeyeah, it's like like I was raised
like that, like love you evenon Long Island, like everyone I love,
I love just coming from love.I think it was a hard thing
to grasp because like my ex boyfriends, first of all, we're in Jewish
or ISRAELI not that you have tobe or not, but I'm saying they

(37:43):
didn't come from that culture. Theycame from more of an Americanized culture,
So to them, they're like,I got to be cold to her to
show her I really don't like her. And I want to change that about
dating here, because it's not Firstof all, it could become very mean.
Just because somebody isn't your hype, like you said, doesn't mean you
have to be mean to them,Like I love how you're nice to everyone

(38:04):
no matter what. Yeah, thatcould also screw with your somebody's head to
be that call and mean to them. I guess what's your what's your dating
advice for us women to get aguy like you or get a guy in
general? Like all right, allright, that's that's let me take notes
with you right now. I'm directnow, but I'm kidding. Well,

(38:25):
you're gorgeous. I don't even knowhow you're single. Well you're also very
young, so you have a lotof time. Yeah, yeah, I'm
twenty three. I'm just I'm justvery young, very young. Yeah,
you're very young. You have timeto time to everyone everything. But but
i'm for real, just for datingfor like general, both it could be

(38:46):
both, right, right, butI think that the world right now need
more kind people like for real, and and that's the most important thing.
Like if someone just trying to talkwith you and trying to connect with you,
be nice as well. It doesn'tmatter. You know, you don't
need to be interested in him,you know what I mean, You don't
need to be interested with her,but just to be nice. Just to

(39:08):
wake up everyone. If if someonesay to you, if a guy come
to a girl and said hi,you have no idea how much courage you
need to come to you to saythat, And and and and even the
opposite, if a girl come toyou and said hi, you have no
idea how much she thought about it. Just imagine everyone here, like everyone
that's gonna hear this, even you, even me, everyone. When you

(39:30):
come to someone you think about it, like a thousand times, I'll go
I'm not going no, she's sobeautiful, No I'm not. I'm not
in her her league, you knowwhat I mean. Like being nice to
everyone. It doesn't matter. Youdon't need to be their friends, you
know, don't need to be liketheir girlfriend's boyfriends. You don't need to
marry them. Just be nice.It doesn't cost money. No, that's
the moral of the Sorry, benice, smile, just don't stop them,

(39:52):
it's okay. Yeah, just don'tstalk them. Yeah, just don't
stalk them. And to all theguys out there when I show up at
comic shows, don't think I'm stalkingyou, Okay, I'm just I'm just
trying to play a part. Likereally, you know, it's crazy.
Men are just I love men.But sometimes this is why maybe I should
just end up when the them reallyguy, because Israeli guys get me.

(40:13):
You know, they're like, oh, baby, you showed up at at
the temple. You didn't even knowI was there. I come here,
so you know, it's different lovelanguages. You're right, but I'm happy
that if you're looking for someone, yeah, I don't worry. Yeah,
talking about it. He's a matchmaker. Listen. I need I need to

(40:37):
somehow. I mean not that Ithink you have to have babies or whatever,
but yeah, as you get older, you know, you figure out
what you want and you want Iwant a family eventually, but I want
to date. I think we lieto ourselves sometimes like oh I don't need
I don't want a relationship. Idon't want this. But yeah, you
know, because this world right nowreally trying to to to tell you you

(41:00):
get handled on yourself. You knowwhat I mean. You don't need no
one. You can do it byyourself. You don't need no one,
no relationship, no boyfriend, nogirlfriend. You don't need to marry.
You can be single forever. Youcan have kids and be single forever.
Like everyone is promoting it. Idon't know why, because really there is
a sentence in ibirt that said toVimas nine Mina had its means like it's

(41:22):
better to be two than one.It doesn't just talking about about married and
stuff. It's it's even talking aboutfriends like me and my best friends.
You know what I mean, Likeit's better to be together because this is
a power. You know what Imean. To be alone very it's very
sad. It's very sad. Noone want to be alone, you know.

(41:42):
And two is better than partnerships.Yeah, it's even if you're going
to meet the most successful people onearth and you're going to ask them,
are you happy? If they're alone, they will never be happy. It
doesn't matter what it does, doesn'tmatter what, because you need a family
behind you, you need friends withyou, You need people that support you,

(42:05):
that love you. You know whatI mean, Like I can be
alone like for real, I Ilove my quiet, I love my like
my time alone, that's for sure. But I can be alone. And
right now I'm really trying to promotethis one like be together, be with
people, don't be alone. Tellthe people like what what what you what
happening inside you? You know, like in this heart situation right now in

(42:27):
Israel, I'm really trying to sayto my friends, like talk with me,
like if someone if someone had toexplain what he's feeling right now,
I'm really open to talk and meas well, like I want to talk,
like don't don't don't block yourself,you know what I mean, talk
about it, talk to people tryingto have each other, trying to spread
love, to spread kindness. Cry, that's okay to cry, you know,

(42:49):
that's okay. You man is tohave to cry. I'm like,
you're like, it's okay, butno, it's again. You can cry.
You could cry. You should cry. It's healthy. Yeah, And
it's really really how to explain topeople that you need to you need to
be human, you know, andwe're just human in the end of the
day. We're just human at theend of the day. I'm just putting

(43:12):
my charge in but you know,I think that's beautiful. I just wish
there's more. We need more peoplelike you. We need more of that
inspiration. We need more leaders likethat so that we we we remember.
I think you're right when you saidthe world has come to you can do
it alone. You could be independent, this feminist attitude, because yeah,
because of I don't because I thinkeverybody got realized we don't want to do

(43:37):
the old school mentality. But itdoesn't mean that like you can't find a
partner, I really like that,or you can't you know, grow with
your best friend, or you don'trealize that it you know, two is
better than one. I do.I feel that's really important. You're right,
yeah, yeah, two is betterthan one for sure? For sure.
Do you have any like are youdo you feel like you want it

(43:58):
all? Or do you feel likeright now you want to focus on your
career? Like how are you ingeneral about No? For now, it's
amazing for now. I had like, yeah, yeah, no, for
now, I have like amazing relationshipwith my your friend right now, so
this is oh my god. Yeahyeah, yeah, this is an amazing
shout out to your girlfriend yo,because she's helping that you know. Yeah,

(44:21):
yeah, she's helping for that, and I think she makes me a
better person, you know what Imean, Like she she pushed me.
She give me my space like rightnow, two months in America right without
her, and she pushed me toto make my dreamcome too, you know
what I mean. And it's reallyimportant. I said, like, you
need to find the best partner foryou, you know, to really push

(44:45):
you. I agree that because mywhole fear and concern is when you're not
with the right partner, you couldalso it could also yeah, distract you
from what you really want to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but
the moment did you find like agood one? Need to keep it also
because because it's really hard in thosetimes to keep something good, you know,
because there is so many, somany options and so many like every

(45:08):
time you think like maybe I'm notin the right direction right now, and
maybe I need to to do somethingelse, you know, trying to to
work out about it, you know, don't give up. Yeah, what
is your advice to people who arelong distance like you and your girlfriend right
now and are working in the entertainmentindustry, what's your advice how to like
keep it together, like make sureyou united instead of like apart because of

(45:30):
the Yeah. I always say thatevery king need a queen and every queen
need a king, you know.So just trying to be a king to
your to your queen, and justtrying to be queen to your like like
the same, the same. Justtrying to be to be to push forward,
to believe in your partner, toto push them to success, you

(45:51):
know, to give them love,to hug them. Don't waste your time
on bullshit for real, like likelike right now and I'm really thinking about
my friends and Israel, and Isaid, like, there's so many people
that pay every amount of money tospend more time with their lovers right now,
So don't spend time on bullshit, you know, don't spend time.

(46:12):
We have no time for that.Keep your loved ones, you're right,
like, appreciate them, don't takethem for granted. It happened in one
minute. Look what happened. Thisis you know, and again we're praying
for change by uniting together in peaceand trying to come from love. Let's
talk about also your favorite maybe oneof your favorite movies that you have done

(46:34):
in Israel and why maybe you couldshare that with us, you know,
one of your favorite movies, becauseyou've done it right, God, yeah,
you've done a lot. Yeah, thanks God, thank God. Yes,
why would I just sound like Iwas from I'm like this, God
has done it. I'm glad youthink I'm funny, like none of my

(46:58):
friends do. But like that's whyI'm not your boyfriend, Schanel, That's
why. Anyway. So now youknow who to call. But if you
ever do a movie, you knowwho to call for an extra Yeah,
yeah, yeah for sure. Butyou need to learn a little bit I
do. That's good. That's good. You know I could use some lessons.

(47:25):
I'm okay to be your teacher forwhatever you want. So my favorite
movie, all right, there isa movie of mine. It's called Don't
Wait for Me, uh. Alsobased on a real story. It's a
story about a kid that it waslived in a really really hard neighborhood and

(47:47):
all the people in the in thosein this neighborhood was abused him and was
like very mean to him, andit started to to to become a gangster,
you know, to to go againsthim, you know what I mean,
and did a crazy thing after theygoing to do some bad, bad
places so I like this role becausebecause for me, it was it was

(48:12):
amazing to experience this whole I lostlike like fifteen kilograms. I would look
like very skinny, very sick.I was so different from what I look
right now. I was like withcars and like hurting face every time.
Like yeah, it was. Itwas a really really crazy movie and also
for my mental health, you knowwhat I mean, Like I was the

(48:34):
character for half a year. Soyou're a main actor, you like to
be in character like me, likeyou actually do the researcher in that character
for like as well. I lovethat. That's my favorite part of that
do it all in or don't doit at all? You know, like
do it And I saw like howthe real man was looked, and it
was very very skinny because it waslike really experienced hard times, you know

(48:59):
what I mean. It was veryhard for him to leave in those sequens
sick with the sequence sequence I forgotyou week right, yes, sequences of
that area. Yeah. Yeah,So it was it's a really it's really
crazy crazy movie, like really reallycrazy one. And yeah, you need
to watch. I will send youa link and I will send you the

(49:21):
picture. You're not going to believeit's it's me, like we all can
can people the audience if they wantto watch it, do they have to
get the link? Or they canwatch it on any streaming platform right now?
I think, I think I don'tknow if there is right now in
the American platform like one year ago, it wasn't in the theater like for
a couple of months. But rightnow I don't know if they get they

(49:42):
can get the link, but butsend me because you never know, like
you know, maybe soon. That'sa good. Yeah, that's a good
that's a great story. I meanI can I like how you Yeah,
you're you're not just one role, like you have different roles, you act
different styles, that's yes. Andthe most important thing for me as an
actor as to you know, likeeveryone look at me and the first thing

(50:06):
that they said, oh is likeyou know the blue eyes and everything and
blah blah blah. Yeah. AndI really tried to escape from that,
you know what I mean, LikeI really tried to not make it the
like the most the most favorite, like the most important thing, you know
what I mean. I try toto escape from that and try to to
to find myself in different toles andto make the audience believe that I can

(50:30):
do everything right. It's not justabout your looks. You know. You
remind me of a younger version ofthe the Brad Pitts and Johnny Depp's where
they were really or Leonardo DiCaprio's wherethey were method actors, but they were
also you know, based and judgedby their physical looks because they were they
happened to be physically good looking, and they had to try to get out

(50:52):
and get people to take them seriously, which I understand too. I mean,
look, I have I have iton a small scale because I was
in a reality TV show, buteven that, like people just judge you.
They can't see you more than that, that's the problem. They can't
see you, and so you're tryingto say, hey, everybody, you
can see me in this, Ithink you could see me that, which
is such a great character to have. Yeah. Yeah. When I came

(51:13):
to the addition for the criminal forthe way, for me, like everyone
was looking at me and said like, what are you doing here? Like
for real, what are you doinghere? It's not for you right now?
And I said, all right, give me the chance, give me
the chance. Let's see what's goingto do, what's going to happen.
You know, I'm going to doeverything for this role. Trust me.
I will do everything, e verything. If you I shaved my hair,

(51:35):
wow, I love kograms. Idid everything for this role for real,
just to the audience, Uh,to make them feel more connected to
me, you know what I mean, to my role, because when they
see me experience those things like thehard time they abusing and then they become
criminal and all these things. Youneed to make them believe you, you

(51:57):
know what I mean, to geta connect with you. And I have
a scene there that someone like oneof the biggest gangster in Israel just tie
me, all right, tie meand you just abused me, all right,
just like hitting me so hard andyou see me so skinny, and
you see all my bones and it'smade the scenes look very hard, you
know, very hard. So forthis scene, for this scene, I

(52:22):
make all of like this thing, like I lose my weight because of that.
I want to be to the people. Then when they're going to see
the scene, they're going to experiencethat the hard feeling. You know,
they're going to see all my bonesand all my my body is hurting and
it's committed. You're committed. You'recommitted as an actor, and I think
a lot of artists don't realize thiswork in entertainment is being committed to the

(52:45):
role. It's not just about showingup, but it's about really committing to
have a believable character and then compellingstorytelling, like telling the story so people
really can relate. Yeah, yeah, we just we just storyteller. That's
it. We just told storyteller. For real. I love that. Any
actor that you want to work withthat you haven't or you know, is

(53:07):
there an actor that you have workedlike all the names that you said,
Germa Leaders, Yeah, German Leaders. When I was a kid, I
wouldsmire them so much until today. And yeah, it's going to happen.
I know that it's going to happen. It's happening, it's happening. It's
happening, Honey, it's happening. We're gonna You're gonna be on Forbes magazine.

(53:29):
You're gonna be on like Israel what'sthe what's the biggest Israeli magazine out
there? Like are you're like, honey, I'm already on that, so
like yeah, yeah, I wouldWait, I'm gonna kill myself after this
podcast a little slower, I'm like, oh fuck, no, wait,
that's amazing. But you know you'regonna be in vogue. You're gonna be

(53:50):
in You have to put that outthere and you have it. You have
it all, you know. Yeah, do you have any like I guess
to wrap it up, you know, any advice on how we can achieve
success in this industry or continue? What do we need to do if we're
you know, not make sure?Yeah. I think that the most important

(54:17):
thing in the world is to walkon yourself, you know what I mean.
Don't let the outside world to impacton yourself. And and the moment
that you become better for yourself,it doesn't matter for the outside all right.
They can see, they can continueto say no, But you walk
on yourself. You never give givingup God seeing you, all right,

(54:38):
God seeing you, And it's gonnahappen no matter what tomorrow, in a
month, in a year, intwo years, doesn't matter. If you
really believe in you and walk hard, it's going to happen. So this
is like the most past advice Iever can can bring. And and and
one of the most important things isstay who you are forever forever, because

(55:02):
one day you're going to be up, you're gonna be down. Circle of
life, Yeah, say the samehuman being, stay the same, and
it's gonna it's gonna come. Andwhat do we say to our haters,
Like if you do have haters?Because I think people don't realize as you
get successful, you're always gonna havehaters, you know, I think people

(55:22):
are very scared. How do youdeal with your haters if you have?
I'm sure you don't, but I'msaying, like, I love them.
I love them. Yeah, theymake me more successful. The moment that
they're talking about you, you becomemore successful. So that's amazing. I
love That's amazing. Yeah, Ilove you guys. Thank you for everyone
for real? Really yeah, Ilove you everyone. Thank you. Keep
the checks out. I love everyone. It's more comments, it's more comments,

(55:45):
so I don't care. I lovethat. Well, let me ask
you this to social media. Howmuch do you think it's important to be
now as an actor and have alsoa brand on social media or do you
think it doesn't matter? Like ifyou're also like, how important was it
for you? Did you look likelike I'm from Israel? All right?

(56:06):
And I'm not living in the States, so for me it's really important because
because I want like to be worldwide, you know what I mean, Like
when I'm passing pictures and stuff andmy lifestyle and my my my acting scenes
and stuff, so all over theworld, they can they can watch it,
they can see it. I havethe option to to make my own

(56:27):
channel, you know what I mean, Like I don't need to wait to
get roles from I don't know, from from America, from Colombia, from
Spain. Because even if I haveIsrael a TV show, I just posted
it on my Instagram or like onmy like my social media, and everyone
can watch it, Like everyone canwatch it, even my TV shows,
even my movies. And it's openeda crazy channel right now, you know

(56:51):
what I mean. It's open amazingchannel for everyone. And it's pushy.
It's pushy for it, but it'snot the most important thing, Like you
know, just the bonus, justus, y, Yeah, just a bonus
to like add to your proper Ilove that a bonus. And for me,
it's the option to to give theworld the option to see myself,

(57:13):
to see me more, to seethat I love to serve to see that.
I love to work like crazy thingsto see that I love to add
you know me more? Well, you know, yeah, it's your whole
around brand image, right, youget to know you. I love your
Instagram. We really get to knowyou more. And there's a variety too,
you know. Do you feel likeI guess in general with is you

(57:36):
know the whole Israel situation? Doyou how important do you think it is
for actors, other celebrities, comediansto stand up for it or like do
you think no matter what, there'sno excuse? Like do you think we
all have to stand up for what'sgoing on in boys to make change?
Because some people are saying, youknow, others are not you know,
talking for us, They're not standingfor us. How do you feel when

(57:58):
that happens. Look, when Idon't know a lot of information, I'm
really avoiding from stuff for real,Like I'm trying to read, I'm trying
to research. I'm not keeping quiet, you know, but I'm really trying
to understand for me, for me. But when there's criminals for humanity,
I really try to stand up,you know what I mean. I really

(58:19):
try to spread love to be forthe people, and it's really important to
to knowledge. It's the most importantthing, like for real, even even
don't post nothing like for real, don't post. It's it's really better to
you to being quiet if you don'tknow all the information. But if you
know, if you know the informationand you choose to be quiet, that's

(58:44):
something else. That's something else.Amen. So that's two things. I
like that you said that. Thatwas beautifully said for the audience to hear.
And you're right. You have apoint. You need to have information
before you talk or think you havean opinion before you share something dangerous or
not. And then if you dohave it and you don't talk, that's
where the danger is where we haveAnd sometimes it's okay that you don't have
an opinion. That's fine. Also, like you know, sometimes the situation

(59:07):
is too big for you, youknow, and that's okay also with so
before we wrap up, I havea question for you. Where do you
see yourself? Do you want tojust do acting or directing? Is that
in your future? Producing? Likewhat? And what are you working on
that We can have a little bitof a tease too, that's coming up.
Else you want to share. Yeah, So actually I did another movie

(59:30):
with Danny. It's about the Holocaust. It's going to be amazing as well.
You mentioned that too. And Ido a lot of stuff and yeah,
for sure, like everything that's connectedto acting, directing, producer,
everything, like this is my passion, you know, this is I really

(59:51):
do it just for my passion.I really love it. That's that's my
life. That's the best journey thatI ever had, you know. So
I really enjoy it from what I'mdoing, and it's makes me. It's
makes me joy to make me,it's make me happy for real, for
real. And by the way, sticking with people just so you know,
start to drop it, like withlike then Danny A's of the world,

(01:00:13):
and and people who believe in youand working with people who want to give
you an opportunities. That's why Ithink you need to stick with in general.
When people ask me how do youbecome successful? Is like, well,
because I stick with people like himwho give me a chance, or
like you who come the podcast giveme a chance. It's easier just to
work with people like that, youknow, and just just to just to
say something for real, like themost the most of my my people that

(01:00:38):
I know, and the most ofthe like the people that I work with.
It's just because I was I waskind and I was nice to them,
you know what I mean, Likeyou can you can act a random
guy or random woman and just tobe nice to them and you don't know
what's going to happen, you knowwhat I mean, Like you don't know.
So that that's the life. Youknow, you need to be kind

(01:01:00):
of need to be nice to everyone. And for sure it's gonna it's gonna
it's gonna meet you one day.You know, it's gonna meet you one
day. Yeah, I love that. You're such an inspiration. What kind
of cell in the city? Audience? What is your favorite place to go
to in the city when you're inNew York City? And what's the favorite
place you can give us in Israel? God willing when everything is in peace

(01:01:21):
and we can come back to thecountry, and because they have the best
food in restaurants, so to usone of each that you like. All
right, So so now my favoriteplace in the city is really Starchy rooftop
of Stevie Goodman. It's it's thebest right now for me. And for
food, Reserve Cuts. I likeyou Reserve cuts so much. It's so

(01:01:44):
tasty. All right, And inTel Aviv, you mean party or restaurants
both maybe one party, one restaurant. Give up on my shoulder right now.
Wow? All right? So soI think for food it's gonna be
Contina. It's an Italian restaurant. It's really I love Italian food. It's

(01:02:05):
real, like wow, that couldbe put in Israel is crazy crazy crazy.
And for party, that's hard tosay. I don't know. I
think it's uh, I don't haveit right now. I really it's really
depends on the time because Israel,it's very like in the winter we have

(01:02:29):
the favorite place. In summer, you have the favorite place. There is
a lot of parties in Tel Aviv. There is a lot of digits that's
coming to Israel. So I preferfestivals more than a closed parties, you
know. I really prefer like festivalsand music and tech music is my favorite
Afro music and stuff. So Ilove that. I'm a DJing also a

(01:02:50):
little bit. So it's funny youare. That's amazing, that's hot.
So we have to have DJ inNew York and in Israel, I have
to come see you for one hundredper everthing just close close friends body.
But when you're going to be inthat's a good thing. That's that's amazing.
I know a lot of people didn'tknow I did DJing for one oh
six point one b Alive. Itwas for like years on the radio,

(01:03:12):
but then and then I did. That's how I got you on in the
city with the podcast. Yeah, amazing. And it's hard for women to
DJ, like to get taken seriouslyin any category, like you stay to
them. You want to be aDJ. It's like, are you a
DJ? You want to be acomedian art because it's a man's world,
you know what I mean. Sothat's where I know. I know you're
not like that, but you knowwhat, that's fine. That's fine.

(01:03:34):
I'll play a DJ in a movieone day. I don't know. But
you should play a DJ in amood that'd be cool, like a DJ
crazy. Also, DJ am,that's a cool. We used to go,
oh my god, rest in peace. Yeah that's crazy. Yeah yeah,
all right, Well you're amazing.Omel Hasan. I am sending so
much love to you and our peopleand for Israel to be in peace and

(01:03:55):
for the Israelian passaiting conflict to beresolved and the end the war and terrorism
and to come from up. Pleaseguys check out The Engineer on all streaming
platforms. It's one of the bestmovies. I do believe it's gonna be
It's gonna get an Oscar or anEmmy. I do feel like that.
And Bros on Netflix, the firstIsraeli series. Please help our people,

(01:04:17):
