Again… starting my day off doing things to connect with getting fired up over the things that are part of me. Of course I found a few. One was a clip from Merrill Hoge - former NFL player and T.V. Analyst - he was sharing a story when his doctor told him about having cancer. In the midst of going through treatment, when he told his daughters about what he was battling, his 7 year old daughter crawled into his lap and told him something along the lines of “daddy, you better find a way” to get through this and beat it. WOW! I was tearing up when I heard this and it got me thinking about how I need to continue to find a way to deal with the battles that I have. Perfect timing came in other posts that I saw today - as they do every day it seems. But it also comes in the form of friends reaching out, as my friend Denyse sent me a message of thanks & encouragement. My episode recently spoke of connecting with our emotions but not staying there. I needed the reminder of what I said, so I could apply it to myself. Awesome parts of life’s journey come from sources when you are looking for it and when you have good people around you that take it upon themselves to reach out to you (and others) to encourage and lift others up!
