About Leah

Leah Kennedy, Miss Midtown Volunteer, is a senior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she is majoring in Agricultural Communications. Driven by a passion for leadership and public service, she aspires to become an agricultural lobbyist and ultimately serve the state of Tennessee as Governor.

Raised on a farm, Leah developed her platform, Grow Tennessee, to promote agricultural awareness throughout the state. She has devoted over 800 volunteer hours to educating students, partnering with organizations such as Farm Bureau, and advocating for agriculture through hands-on outreach and public speaking.

Through the Miss Volunteer America Organization, Leah has discovered a powerful avenue to inspire young women, champion community service, and build meaningful connections. Whether speaking on stage, teaching in a classroom, or engaging on social media, she leads with purpose—committed to making a lasting impact on Tennessee’s future.
