Spojené kráľovstvo bolo dlhé roky po Česku druhou najpopulárnejšou voľbou slovenských študentov, ktorí sa rozhodli odísť na univerzitu za hranice. Dnes tam stále študujú stovky Slovákov, od Brexitu sa však masívne zvýšili náklady na školné a život, ako aj pretlak uchádzačov, hovorí expert na študentskú mobilitu Patrick Obdrzalek.
Môžete byť z bohatšej rodiny, alebo talent premeniť na štipendium či crowdfunding. V každom prípade platí, že „keď na to máte, študovať do Anglicka môžete ísť aj dnes. Ale čaká vás aj veľká konkurencia,” opisuje, ako v posledných rokoch rástol záujem študentov z Číny, Indie a napríklad aj z Nigérie.
