(00:51):
jersey will be courtesy at Pristine Auction dot com. Again,
subscribe to the channel, like the video, drop your comments
below and just like that. This could be as Welsh
let's dive, right. I had a lot of d backs
to talk about today. I want to start with Zach
Gallon because in his last three starts, he's two and
one with a sub three ERA. He's got nineteen strikeouts

(01:13):
in his last two games. Zach Gallon? Is he good
at baseball? Again? What happened? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I said on this show yesterday he could come out
and throw a no hitter, and I'm not gonna be
like's going wrong? Like no, Like Zach Gallen is still
not in trustworthy range. But I will say this, this
start had the pieces where we go, Oh, the last start,
I just still wasn't buying a lot of that. It's great.

(01:39):
I mean, Sandel Contra, I want to point out went
through like a four game stretch where it was like
two ERA, everything was amazing, and then he kind of
fell apart. This start has some really interesting pieces that
make my my ears perk a little bit, and I
kind of wonder if maybe there's a little bit of
like you're getting shipped out of town and there's a
little bit extra coming.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Up here, kid, Yeah, pitching beta, Yeah, he'd trade your.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Race something along that but one of the biggest things
that stood out from this start velow increase, cutter almost
two miles per hour harder, fastball almost a full mile
per hour harder, and he threw his slider a mile
and a half harder. We haven't seen that all season long.
We've seen him touch ninety five and then he simmers
down around ninety three. He was averaging over ninety four

(02:26):
in the fastball in this one. Then you come over
something I picked on in his last start, was like,
all right, you had good results, but these giants were
swinging through this curveball that he wasn't throwing in the zone.
He didn't do. He did this kind of same thing again.
But the fastball with an increased velow and a sixty
percent zone percentagury, that's one of the best he's had
all year. That's been his problem. He can't throw freaking

(02:47):
fastballs for strikes. He threw him for strikes. He threw
it harder, and then the curveball and changeup wasn't even
remotely close in the zone, but he still got his whiffs.
He ended up having seven of eleven swings be whiffs.
That's the sixty four percent WIF rate on his curve ball.
It was nasty. The zone pitch if you go in
baseball savonn or anywhere that has like you know, the

(03:07):
pitch track and where everything was just a really good
fastball and cutter. We're just covering the entire zone. And
then he just dropped his off speed stuff. I will admit,
this is the one where I'm gonna like my I'm
a little perked up. I'm like, maybe Zach Gallon is back,
whether he stays or he's traded, if he can maintain
this velo increase. Okay, I'm in and I'm willing to.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
You could throw a no hitter. He could go in
there and you know, clean my whole house and uh
you'll be pay awesome. Paint my home, you know, fix
the garbage disposal. I still won't believe in Zach Gallon.
I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I still don't believe. It's three stupid star tread this one.
I'm the one treated.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah, sciences good, look, we can always change and evolve.
That's one of the beautiful things about life.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, to it'space.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Corman Carrol showed some signs of life doubled in triples,
so that's a good sign. Signs of death for the
bullpen for the Diamondbacks. We're gonna save that for later.
We'll save that for the injuries, and we'll talk about
that in a bit. Freddy Parolta was great yesterday's tenth
w Paul Skens wishes he had ten wins. He shout
out the Dodgers yesterday for six innings that struck out seven,
walked one. He now has five straight starts with a

(04:20):
w So Paralta's been fantastic. The Brewers scored seven runs
on Yamamoto, who lasted just two thirds of an inning.
I don't want to make too much of the blow
up here in Yamamoto, but a great star for Paralta,
a terrible outing for Yamamoto, where everything that could go
wrong just did. Sometimes you just have that kind of
night at the office. Is that a window to buy
on Yamamoto. I doubt it, But at the same time,

(04:41):
it was definitely chilling if you're a Yamamoto manager.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah. And the matchup is what was so exciting. And
I think Yamamoto had had all of the you know,
the coverage across the board, but like he was bound to,
he was bound to have some type of regression y stuff.
And you know, and Paruta wasn't like neither one of
these guys that double digit whiffs by the way, like
they were just efficient. There was just efficiency that was
out there. But yamamonos still solid, still a sub three

(05:09):
expected ERA K percentage is around twenty eight percent. He's
just walking a little bit more. Let's kind of see
where this goes. But the Dodgers are getting reinforcements here
very very soon.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Look BDS saying we're halfway to six starts. For Gallon,
that is a Jack Lighter specific rule. Okay, that was
only for Zach Gallen has challenged for Cy Young's Zach
Gallen has been a fantasy ace. Zach Gallen has earned
respect that a couple of good starts, you can go, Okay,
well maybe things are going well that's what you do.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Like I feel about like McGrady up there, it was
like drop Gallon when Welsh said he was garbage y face,
like I didn't brisk out, but I no, no, you
could put that because guess what he was garbage. Zach
Allen has been absolutely you know that show, are you garbage?

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yes? Zach Allen to do Zach Morris's trash Zach.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I actually, I yeah, I actually did that meme. I
love that concept. By the way, Zach Gallon has been
this whole season and then all of a sudden he
went on, uh.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
What was it?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Mark might take other way to Chicago and he's found
his stuff. But he's been garbage all year long. He
deserves at this point the turn of a little bit
more attention because of his history, But like, can't go
ten plus starts and just be absolute garbage and us
be like gars He's going to turn it around, Like, No,
he's been garbage, but there's always the possibility. This is why,

(06:27):
like I can't quit Sandy because they're massively talented pictures
and it's like it's not unreasonable to think that they
could turn this around on the second half. But nothing
has shown us, and nothing on Zach Gallen has shown
us anything positive for me until this one. But yes,
I am lining up to get ready to be hurt
by Zach Allen. But guess what probably won't be with
the diamondback.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Did you ever see Mark Paul Gossler watching Zach Morris
as Trash are talking about very funny? He thinks it?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Does it?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Ever? He thinks it's brilliant, Like he's got so much
self awareness. He's like, it's the funniest thing ever. He's like,
it's totally true. You look back on He's like like,
what were they thinking about? And he goes on the
whole big rant about it about how brilliant this concept is.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
There are a few there's things in life that you're
just like, damn, why didn't I come up? They're just
so brilliant that if you guys haven't seen it. The
Zach Morris is trash on YouTube.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Like it sets him up with the Cobra Kai thing.
Remember because years ago that was a YouTube video where
Johnny is the y, Johnny's the hero of Karate Kid
and here's why, and it was one of the funniest
YouTube videos I ever saw someone do. And then somebody went, yeah,
why don't we turn that into a show.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
But more so even the Zach Morris thing to like,
like any guy could have just sat there, re edited
and done that and created this entire vibe. It's it's
a brilliant thing that you're like.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Dead have the vision you darvish. He had vision for
three and two thirds innings, five strikeouts. He got to
his three thousandth career strikeout between the Japanese League and
the Major League, so that's pretty cool for him. Jacob
deGrom worked five innings, not the best start for him,
but again he's been so good. Three runs, no decision
against the Angels, so again it wasn't the best, but
eventually I think he had to, you know, have a

(08:00):
turkey in there somewhere. We'll keep an eye on it though.
I mean, it is he's approaching one hundred innings right
so it's like, you know, maybe we're getting a little
worried here. I don't know, is the fatigue set again?
All Star Break coming at a good time. Jose Ramirez
the fifteenthrough runner of the season off Colton Gordon. Bobby
Witt has been salvaging his season lately. He has eleven
straight games with a hit after a terrible June two

(08:22):
for three with a homer yesterday, and we talked about
this on yesterday's show. So more information about the Tampa
Bay Rays situation with Drew Rasmussen and Joe Boyle. Apparently
they're going to be a tag team moving forward. So
obviously rasmuson has been terrific. Eighty nine innings already on
the year, though way more than he had last year

(08:42):
a two way two era. But he's got three elbow
surgeries under his belt already, so they're trying to keep
in one hundred and fifty innings. So he's got about
what sixty left in the tank, right, That's where we're
talking about.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
I think they wanted to cap at like one fifty.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Well one fifty is the cap. He's at eighty nine,
So there you go. That's quick. Math is sick, So
there you go. Joe Boyle is the guy who is
probably going to be more in line for wins. Joe
Boyle becomes I think, a very interesting piece here if
you can manage it properly. So I know this is
a picture that we've talked about in prospecting before, but
I thought this was very illuminating and once again fantasy

(09:18):
Brows MLB was ahead of the curve here. If you
watched the trade show last week, Welsh and I talked
about Drew Rasmussen, we talked about Clay Holmes, we talked
about Boo Bitch. It's like, I don't care how good
it is. Eventually time comes for us all, and so
do innings. Limits and they have now come for Tree Rasmussen.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah, I mean, here's the only negative. There's a slight
negative out there, negative to a positive. Today, I believe
Shaye McClanahan is going to go and start a rehab assignment.
Now here's the positive. If Joe Boyle and Drew Rasmussen
are tied together, it really shouldn't matter like no other
picture or McClanahan shouldn't affect Boyle because those two were tied.

(09:55):
But in theory, like if they have to start making
some decisions, there could be somebody else that takes it
for a little bit, and then if Girasmussen is going
to up his innings, Joe Boyle would be gone. So
like there's a little bit of diceiness, especially if McClanahan
comes back, which, by the way, if you're in the
league and McLanahan is sitting out there, probably a pretty
good time to go pick him up, just in case.
But I think I think Boyle, I think he said

(10:19):
this yesterday. Boyle's good for like two or three starts
right now, Like I'm gonna kind of lock into this.
The strikeout rates look good. He's in line for some wins.
The ras are playing well, Like someone asked, Boyle or she,
I'm gonna go boil because Glass now is gonna start
tomorrow and she is probably gonna be the guy that's
gonna get the boots. So I think you can pick
up Boyle and be like, all right, I got two

(10:41):
or three starts to figure this out. And if he
is lights out, then you know, maybe nothing changes. Maybe
like Boyle is the one that sticks Aro oil from Fife. Yeah,
that's what I just said I would.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
And Fightyl is a resubed I believe today too, So
thanks P five. I like this one.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Joe Boyle rules, Joe Boyle, Doyle rules.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
It's a good one there. Uh did you say Sham
McClanahan is starting rehabson? Is that what she said was
we have a new one.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Sounds yes, he's gonna start a rehab assignment. I believe today.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Well, well, Shane McClanahan, one man leaves another enters rehab.
It's been a while, old friend. It's good to see you.
You see what we did to Brandon Woodruffe. Come come
to rehab. We have cookies here. Everything's going to be fantastic.
It's gonna be so great, you'll never want to leave there.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
You go probably not bit back here in a little
bit when we get to the Andrew Zoe by the.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Way, he is never getting If you're not gonnay Sha
McLanahan this year, I don't think I'd be shocked.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
If you don't wait, wait, wait, wait, you don't think
we're gonna see Shan McClanahan in the Majors.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
I be shocked.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
As the kids say, bet like fair, what do you
mean he's he's in a rehab assignment in uh in
complex ball. You just think he's gonna get rehurt. You're
the creepy monster is gonna get him.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Well, he's that too, Tommy Johns. And now he's got
some nerve issue. I'm just saying, he's like a ticking
time bomb. I can't The nerve issue was very scary
because I don't think there's any way to to It's
not like something you got a pair, you gotta rest
and hope it gets better. Like there's there's very little
you could do for that. And to me, this is
a sign of a guy. There was a couple of
pictures in the in the pantheon of pitching injuries. If

(12:23):
you recall them the epidemic of thoracic outlet syndrome. Do
you remember that? They just killed people's careers. I feel
like by the way it was, it was the hottest
anyone who is anyone had thoracic outlets syndrome in the
mid two thousand. In sight, it was like you remember that,
Like New York's hottest club was thoracic outlets syndrome. Do

(12:46):
you have a strain surgeries?

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Do you have a strain? No? I have thoracic outlets.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
This Carrera thongs, this club's got everything. Let's get to transactions.
Chase de Lander got sent down a trip, but it's
probably just because of an all star break. Most likely
Anthony Anthony, Anthony Roman Roman Anthony was kick off our
rookie lookie two for five another homer so again one
of our by lows a couple of weeks ago on

(13:13):
a trade show. Just got to buy on principle sometimes
and just trust the town. With Bubba Chayler, it's been
a while since we talked about Bubba. Well, she gonna
swarm him off. He was done. He's like, no more, Bubba.
I'm sick of it.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
But well, it's just.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Lins and a what are we gonna do? Like? What
are we going to?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Everyone's like, who's Bubba gonna come up? Clearly I don't know.
Clearly you don't know. Clearly the pirates don't know. That's
a really good start, as I think, I mentioned he
was invited to the Futures Game. I obviously he declined
because he was never on the roster. I think that's
a multitude of things. I think this could be a
good break. The likeliness would be after the All Star

(13:50):
break that maybe he could come up to the majors.
But as I said before, if an.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Organization gets traded, maybe that's what happens.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yes, but if an organization wants to be really cheeky
about it, what you would do, as you would wait
until September and you would not let them accru what
is it forty days on the major league roster or
the fifty innings pitch, so he could be rookie eligible
next year, and then they have him break camp and
then he could be available for the PPI, which would

(14:16):
be an extra first round pick. That would be a
very frugal, cheeky way to approach prospects. And why not
at this point, you're one of the worst teams in baseball.
You're kind of a disaster, and who else do you
have vying for that? So I personally, as much as
it sucks, I feel like that's the way to do it.
All of that said, all of like the logic, he'll
probably be up right after the All Star break, lose

(14:38):
all of that eligibility, But he's just we don't know.
I can't even begin to try to guess what the
hell's going on with Bubba Chandler. But at least he
had a good start. That kind of opens it up,
and Mitch Keller would be a very likely thing once once.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
He gets traded. Big Dance just finally realized that I
look like the lead singer Disturbed just now, just now,
which is a great compliment. By the way, he's a
great guy. I love that guy.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
It is better than John Lackey.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Michael, It's way better than John Lackey. Ury Will war
Will get down with the sickness, Uria Will Warren. It's
Uri for me. Let's go, I'm manifesting URI today. We'll
get to the bets in just a second. More rookie
looking news though, because the twenty twenty four class continues
to just not be stopped. It's unbelievable. JJ Weatherholt another

(15:25):
one of my favorite things from last year's draft. He's
slashing three hundred and four to twenty five, four to
sixty six. He just got promoted to Triple A from
the Double A. He's got seven homers, fourteen steals. Another
one of these quick rising prospects and hopefully for the
Cardinals sooner than later. Robert Hassel, since he's been sent
downsmen really good by the way solo homer two for
four interesting by Low and Dynasty on him. He had

(15:47):
gone twenty one for sixty three in the sixteen games
since being sent down, with four homers, twelve RBI and
four steals. So Welsh, I see this as a huge opportunity.
In Dynasty, where Hassel came up, he didn't do very well,
get sent down, people not maybe realizing how good it's
gone for him. Since.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, I think Robert Hassel like I want to see
him back. I want to see them make room for
him to be out there, power speed combo. He's surprised
he changed his approach. I thought in some of that
early stints he looked pretty good. Kind of a firecracker.
Out there sent back down to kind of rework it.
The Nationals are probably there's so much going on with

(16:24):
them because it's like, you know, they didn't Yeah, they
didn't win the games, Like they're not that much better
than the Pirates at this point, Like they're that far down.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
They had more expectations that this would be a step
forward and it wasn't.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Yeah, it hasn't been well also because like you had
Mackenzi Gore take a big step up, James Wood looks
like an absolute superstar, but then in wrapped in it
is like the really disappointing Dylan Cruz season that's going on,
and maybe the rest of the pitching, and then you've
got this like do we want major leaguers, we want rookies?

(17:00):
The draft coming up, and then they just you know,
they fire the manager, they fire a Rizzo. I think
all of these things are tied in together. The Nationals
are probably battling with like how many young guys do
we want to have on this team? Brady Houses up?
And Brady House looks really good right now? Do they
want hassle in? Like they've essentially got their minor league
system up. But I think that maybe is holding them
back from just making that full commitment. But you know what,

(17:21):
after the All Star break, I kind of think we
should see Robert Hassel again for the rest of the year.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I don't think you can hold c j Kayphus back
much longer too. Two for four with him a run
scored carlsontowna they got a DFA or trade or something
like just move on here, rumor mill Jason Stark has
been a busy boy. He says Jared Durant is the
most likely player to be moved from that outfield in Boston,
which makes sense. Yoshida also came back, so things are
getting real crowded over there, and he also said Josh

(17:47):
Naylor could be a major trade deadline target for a
lot of teams, which isn't breaking news, but he's getting
paid to say things like that, so that's cool fun.
I agree with both of those. I agree with both
of those too, But I mean, that's kind of stuff
that we've for a month, so I don't know why
that's news.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Well, I know, I think the Duran thing. Hearing that,
by the way, Yoshida was working at first a little bit,
so that'll be interesting. But like there clearly seems.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
To everybody's working at first for the rest now.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Well everybody but Devors everybody.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Bill Buckner is going to be taking ground balls at
first base for them pretty.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
But the Duran stuff there clearly seems to be like
an organizational management disconnect with who he is. Like there,
they don't seem to love him, so the likely does
It still feels like the likely destination is something like
the Padres and Naylor is the way the Diamondbacks can
may be soft. They don't trade Iohannio. Maybe they keep
one of those pictures and they just kind of like

(18:39):
soft move a couple pieces while still trying to compete
in the wild card. I think that's a possibility. But
winning against the Padres makes that weird.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
So this I did see just I heard this BD.
So apparently Will Clark wasp was to come to first
you know, to work out with Devs at first base,
and Dever's no showed. Now I believe Will Clark because
Will Clark is about as honest and almost fourth right
to fourth right, no filter.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Did you see you know he's on like a podcast.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
With Eric Burns.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Oh that's that's a wild podcast.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Clips from there hilarious like they are just hysterical and
it's great if they're having a good time they're doing.
Why Why did Eric Burns leave MLB Network? What happened there?
It used to be like the one personality they had
that had energy. They're like, hey, a little too much
energy and smiling. Just sit down with that. But yeah,
I mean hilarious if that diverse thing is true, which

(19:28):
might be fun. Facts about Taylor Tremmel three run homer
is first MLB homer since twenty twenty three. Well, dude,
finally late sleeper Andrew Vaughn. He came up and he
hit a three run homer off Youam a Moto yesterday.
He went on a nice little day there for Andrew Vaughn,
the newest Milwaukee brewer, especially now that these Hoskins hit

(19:50):
the eye ol and he did.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
He did an interview yesterday where like you know, he
got called back up and all their media were interviewing.
It was like, yeah, I forget about this because I've
been around him a bunch of the white side. He
has such an empty look in his face at all times,
and he's sitting there on the dugout and he's just
staring up and they're asking him question after question, and
he gave the most ridiculous two and a half minute nothing, Yeah,

(20:14):
we gotta work one day at a time, and took
it one day. Like every single question he turned it
back to like just got to do my job and
do it one day at a time. It was the
most nothing burger of an interview. One of the worst
interviews I've ever seen. Just didn't have lifeless. He's like
this interview.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah, he's like you know the you know that meme
of that guy who's like it's like it's like a
work thing, like how to engage the guests at the restaurant.
He's like, he's like the guy at the carving station
who's like to try to make small talk. Have you
ever seen this guy? If you've seen this guy, you
know what I'm talking about. The chat, I guarantee you
somebody the pie'za Crackerjack, And it's a real thing from

(20:49):
like the like the early nineties, where this guy's like, hey,
sure is hot out there, huh. And he's like.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
That's that's Andrew. Put Andrew's face on that, like.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Boy, boy, oh boy, this it sure must be nice
to get some vacation time. For you and the family.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Huh or like time?

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Oh my god, so good? Yes, there we go. He knows,
you know, Jimmy knows. Lazzani is my favorite. Have you
tried it? Yes, that's the one. Have you tried the Lazani?
It's my favorite. That's Andrea. We gotta get this meme.
I don't know if Cally and Seth can find this meme.
If you can find it, we could show it on
the show right now today, by the end of the show.
It'd be fantastic. Let me know. Also, you know, it's

(21:32):
not every day that you get your first and yesterday
was a first for our boy, Dicky Fits. Richard Fitz
got his first major league victory. Very proud, We're all
very proud of him. At the show, slow clapp for
the Dick Fits and five and two thirds. Hey, let's
gets the Rockies. We'll take it. We'll take it, baby,
three up and three down. Manny Machado had a homer

(21:54):
three for five for him. He has two thousandth hit
yesterday too.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
The almost diamondback. Did you see that story? Either way?
I just want to throw this out. Fascinating story on
ESPN and the only reason I read it was Jeff
Passing quote tweeted it and he said it was all
about the trade deadline and kind of the craziness that's
gone on and rumors and stuff, and he goes, I
learned in this article that Manny Machada was almost a Diamondback.

(22:18):
And there was another one I'm forgetting about. But in
this article it talks about how in twenty eighteen, the
Arizona Diamondbacks had a deal in place for Manny Machado,
but it would have cost Jazz Chisholm, which would mean
which would have meant that Diamondbacks would have never gotten
Zach Gallen on their team. And then obviously he's now
would we be without Zach Gallen?

Speaker 1 (22:39):
But it would have the same thing today. Another one
where said christ McCaffrey was almost a ram where they
offered up like their entire draft for Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
So I am. I could listen to that stuff all
day long. If you gave me a show Monday through Friday,
thirty minutes of like what could have been. You could
just give me like two players.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Machado hit his two thousand and hit against the picture,
he have prevented d Max from getting.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Yeah, Oh, there's a really great connection the team he
would have gone to against the pitcher that they never
would have got in an alternate universe.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, and all the timelines, everything everywhere, all right, the
other ops Cory Seeger to run home run another one
of our bilos from the trade video, Christophas Sanchez held
the Giants to just one run of seven strong innings.
He's been fantastic. No decision for him, but god, he's
he been good. Kakuchi of course I picked him up
the stream him in the league and of course four runs,
five innings, Boo Tanner buy before runs of four and

(23:31):
two third and Colton Gordon five runs and five and
two third. No point no for him. Injuries bad news
for one hundred Green managers. He was scratched with renewed discomfort.
Now renewed discomfort again. Maybe we're being cautious. Maybe it's
just like, okay, you got to work through the discomfort.
Or maybe it's a bigger problem. I don't know, Welsh, Yes,

(23:53):
maybe it is a bigger problem.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Come here, Hunter Green live in my world. Every never
come to the Major's.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
But yeah, definitely we have the video. By the way,
so after home run calls.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Is truthfully, by the way, our new Brentant Woodruff.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
I hope not, but he is. You know, the Reds
pitchings that have to be very good in the next
two years. Tobias Meyer six score listenings for him. He
struck out eight. He didn't walk anybody. He was also
hitting ninety eight miles an hour on the radar gun,
which is not a Tobias Meyer speed. He's more like
a ninety two to ninety four kind of guy. So
I thought that was kind of interesting. You've got Quartez
coming back, you got Meyers coming back. Unfortunately, I think

(24:37):
Chad Patrick Swansong is done, like he's been really good.
But you know, they're gonna move on. And I'm telling
you those Brewers, they're gonna pitch. I keep saying it.
Nobody wants to hear it in April May. Nobody wants
to hear it in June. It's July. I don't know
if you hear me now.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
But they're a lot of national reports too out that
I'm kind of forgeting who it was. But it was
like a tweet I saw from some national reporter that
was like the Brewers, like one big bat away.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Josh Nayler or Suarez. It's one of those guys. Well,
who do you want? I mean, I'll play. Okay, I'm
gonna play. Uh, you can't have Miserwski. I'm the Brewers GM,
you're the Diamondbacks GM. Let's play a game. Okay. I
got all these pictures, I got all this stuff. I
want Nayler or Suarez. Actually I want them both. What
are you gonna do for What do you want for both?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
I don't like the Diamondbacks to do that, Okay, I
mean I think, but see here's the problem. This is
the problem with those in jener I know what you're doing.
Like those are expiring contract guys. So it's like it's
gonna be like a riple A or maybe a really
low a prospect, maybe a guy I've been seeing out here.
Probably like you're not getting low because someone just said Logan,

(25:43):
you're not getting anything of worth out there. The Diamondbacks
have to be motivated to do it so they could
get a Josh Naylor. I believe it would probably just
cost like a lowish prospect. They're not getting Cooper Pratt,
they're not getting Eric Batanti. But there's like this kid
josh Adaminski are they I'm forgetting a shortstop. It'd probably
be something like that. But I don't think the Diambacks

(26:03):
are not trading both. And also they got Rhys Hoskins,
so I'm not sure that the Brewers are in the
market that that's where they want to do. Swarez would
be an incredible brewer, and that's the guy. Maybe they
come full court press on and maybe it does cost
a little bit of a bigger name, maybe a Mike
Bobe or something, maybe Eric Btanti. I don't know all.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Uh, I will say that I think if I'm the Diamondbacks,
I want I want Swarez because third base is really
the whole Brewers. If I'm the Brewers, right, excuse me, Yeah,
I'm the Brewers.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I think that's the need for them.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Swarrez is the guy that I want. Nailor would be
a plus, but you know you got Hoskins, you got
Andrew Vaughan of the carving station. Uh ket Ol Marte
right growing tightness. He was out yesterday. Shelby Miller, He's
gonna be out for a while. Right fore arms drain.
We all know what that means. So is Ginkle the
guy to own is that it? Ye, he got to
save the first.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
He's the only guy left truthfully, Like they've just burn.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Fucked through them all, Puck, Shelby Miller, whom miss Martinez Martine.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yeah, they just I mean, they're just like burning through
them all. Kevin Ginkle was a closer option in the
in the preseason. Tory Leavello is just loves the guy.
It will be Kevin Ginkle for better for whereas that's
also a reason, like you feel comfortable diamondback starters. They
have no bullpen what they tried to start giving it
away last night. But Ginkle will get some saves, so
go look at him. Uh, And the Shelby Miller stuff

(27:30):
is kind of a blow to them in general. But
and kat Tell looks like he's okay by the way.
Someone was asking that he just had some tightness and
it looks like he's gonna be back in today.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
So Jesse Winker won for three two walks in a
two run homer triple a yesterday, so they need him back.
They need that fire of Jesse Winker. The Mets could
use him. Michael King goes to sixty day il again.
Things are not looking good for him. Casey Schmidt got activated.
Uh huh, nerv issues bad. Tyler Glassnell is going to
be activated Wednesday, as we said, that was actually confirmed today. Uh,

(27:59):
and we predicted it on Monday and that was so.
The Dodgers Putkiki Hernandez and the tende Io with an
elbow inflammation. Pablo Lopez should begin a throwing program soon.
Bailey Ober also could return in the early second half.
I don't know if the Twins want to see him.
Shane Bieber faced minor league hitters on Saturday. We'll see
how that goes. Yoshida we mentioned earlier he could be

(28:21):
activated tomorrow. And Luis Garcia of the Astros making a
rehab start in the Florida Compex League on Monday, so
that's very exciting for the Astros. Before we get to
the bets of the day, I think we got the video,
so here is a live look. Are we ready to
go with this? Yes? Okay. It's a live look of
Andrew Vaughan trading for questions for the media at his

(28:44):
previous job of Old Country Buffet. Have you tried with Rosagna?
It's my favorite me that did you catch your game
last night?

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Is it still hot out?

Speaker 1 (28:56):
There.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Do you like half funch Sundays?

Speaker 1 (29:05):
All right? Do you like that funch Sundays?

Speaker 2 (29:11):
The music seemed to fit a different type.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
That's what makes the video. It's so good. It's just
so many things happening, so many things happen.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
A little look too, That's what I mean.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
After the dougat, I was like, God, he looks like
that guy from the CP training video. This is why
we're your favorite MLB show. There's no other fantasy show
doing this period. End of story. Yeah, the dude was
definitely like, would just give my food and leave me alone? Please?

Speaker 2 (29:39):
That's how I am. I'd be awful with that guy.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
All right? What do you think that editor did his
free time when he wasn't doing that director was not
directing training videos.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
If you put the music together, we know exactly what
he was doing.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Oh it's time, everybody for the best bets of the day, Right,
let's get to it. We've got the Houston Astros run
line minus one and a half plus money with Hunter
Brown at home against the Cleveland Guardians and that slap
nut offense. Yeah, let's go, let's do it. I told
you manifesting Uri Perez, I'm gonna do it again. Today.

(30:14):
I put my money where my mouth is over five
and a half strikeouts minus one oh six there for
him against the Reds and then Juan Soto RBI time
plus one oh five Welsh, what do you have for
the people? All right?

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Two in one. Yesterday we didn't get the Jason or
Jansen junk, but got the Christopher Sanchez strikeouts, and we.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Junk got you. That's what happens. You get the junk,
sometimes the junk gets you.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
I didn't put my my bet for the over and
the Diamondbacks Padres game in until super late. I swear
to God, I put it in. I'm like, okay, got
the bet in and then looked could tell Marte scratch instantly,
and I was like, I gotta be kidding me. I'm like, Jesus,
it still catch. So that was nice. So today I
got a couple first fives. We got the Dodgers first

(30:56):
five money line and Seattle first five money line. I'm
I'm definitely into both of these Dodgers matchup Seattle Logan
Gilbert and not have it. I mean close to like
even ish money some of these first fives. I mean,
you very very seldom see like a Dodgers that's this close,
and usually it's going to be due to a pitching matchup.

(31:17):
Miserowski is holding this back, So this is Kershaw versus Misierowski.
Miserowski showed a little bit of life and why you know,
there could be some questions He's walking a little bit,
Kershaw's given up a lot of contact, but there's kind
of a team context there. I just I love the
idea of backing the Dodgers here against Misserowski and getting
you know, minus one p fifteen. And then, like I
said the same thing on the other first five, backing

(31:39):
Logan Gilbert, that's just the pure play, regardless of them
playing against the Yankees. Will Warren does have a five VRA.
I still think he's relatively solid, but Logan Gilbert and
the Padres those are both of my first fives. And
then I'm going to Atlanta, Atlanta for the run line
minus one and a half. Deed years out there, but
it is against Jeffrey Spring. He is not a home dog.

(32:02):
He gotta get him on the road. At home balls
are flying. So I'm gonna take Atlanta minus one and
a half at plus money almost plus one thirty bing
bang boom, those are my bets?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Oh I kept hearing was that music over your talking
the whole time?

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Be you like the Dodgers?

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Like the Dodgers? Boy? That Otani he's really something. Huh
h creepy. Go place your bets on FanDuel fantasypros dot

(32:41):
Let's take a look at the home run board. Then
I'm never gonna be on this year depressing Walkie Penguin's
there at thirty tight at the top. There Sosa's jersey
up for grabs, still autographed from Pristine Auction twenty six.
Is the new baseline to crack the board. And I'm
gonna try to get Jan Soto against the Orioles today.
What are you going with Welshe?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Ronald just going, I'm back in the braves. I'm going
against Jeffrey Springs. So give me a kunya in Sacramento.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
Baby, there you have it. That'll do it for us,
but the story of the game goes on for the Welsh.
I'm Joey P. We'll see you next time, Gibs.
