Jamie Preisz - Part 2

It is our great privilege this week to present our guest, artist, photographer, film maker and musician, Jamie Preisz. He is a sensitive, deep thinking and profoundly courageous man. Jamie was awarded this years’ Archibald Packing Room Prize for his portrait of Aussie icon, Jimmy Barnes which not only illustrates the strength and resilience of both artist and subject, but also the obvious soul connection between the two men. Although still under the age of 30, Jamie has also held several highly successful exhibitions and has won numerous prizes including the Packard Prize and 2018 Breakthrough Artist of the year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.   We met with Jamie and his partner Kitty Callaghan in Melbourne to record this two part special for Figured Podcast.
