This week on Something Ain’t Right, Frangela is side-eyeing so hard we might sprain something. The foolishness is flying fast, and we’re here to catch every last bit of it.

First up, Trump’s federal workforce cuts are looking real targeted—and not in a subtle way. Black women are being pushed out like it’s a clearance sale on competence, and we’re not about to let that slide. When your “restructuring” looks like a purge, something ain’t right.

Then we take a detour into the bizarre: Trump’s Pentagon pick claims he’s being stalked by an astrology influencer. Yes, you heard that correctly. Not a foreign agent. Not a lobbyist. An astrology influencer. We don’t know what Mercury’s doing in retrograde, but apparently it’s got folks filing restraining orders.

Next, in a move so wrong it defies logic, two firefighters were arrested and detained at an ICE facility while actively responding to the Bear Gulch fire. They were literally trying to save lives, and ICE said, “Not on our watch.” If that doesn’t make your blood boil, check your pulse.

And finally, we dive into the Netflix documentary The Truth About Jussie Smollett??—yes, we’re adding our own question mark because the whole thing is still a mess wrapped in confusion, sprinkled with drama. Is it truth, is it spin, or is it just another chapter in the saga of “What Even Is This?”

When the world keeps showing out, Something Ain’t Right is here to call it out loud.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
