Scripture Summary:
In Mark 6:33–44, a large crowd follows Jesus and His disciples to a remote place, eager to hear His teaching. Moved by compassion, Jesus sees them as sheep without a shepherd and begins to teach them. As the day grows late, the disciples suggest sending the people away to buy food, but Jesus challenges them: "You give them something to eat." With only five loaves and two fish, Jesus blesses the food, breaks it, and miraculously feeds over 5,000 men, with twelve baskets of leftovers remaining.
