God is love. Love challenges us to do something and we shouldn't just sit there with the love that God has shown us.
1 John 1 Describes Jesus as the Light and encourages us to walk in the light
Eliminate the "try harder" mentality and submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The fruit that comes from that is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control.
