back next year, it's going to be this. There is
no next year. You can't bank on things working in
your favor next year because we thought the same thing.
We thought that we we got two cornerbacks who we're
gonna want to be just cornerstone dudes for the next

next year, we're good.

now those two dudes, in the three years that they
have been and with the Cowboys, have played seven total

lockdown and solidified to hold us down for the next.

games left has been healthy this year, you don't know
if that's gonna be the same thing next year, or
another player or another group of players, or another rash
of injuries that you may have on either side of

to get yourselves in the position to go and try
to win a championship, it is paramount that you really
push all the cards on the table if you have
the opportunity to, because next year is not promised, and
now it could be people that walking and say, well

look at situations like this, when we thought that we
got it. We are set at corner, we got a
dude who intercepts the ball. We got another dude who
takes the ball back to the house. We are good.

can't have eight guys with ninety five percent of your
Sarah cap. You got and that's where depth come in at.
That's where you got to go out draft a guy
that is healthy, that has not had a career college

field with injuries, go out and draft. A, Hey, this
is a third round pick. This is what we projected
him at. This is what he is. We didn't have
to reach for him. This is who he is. He's healthy,
he's ready to come in. That's inserting. Let's make sure
he get the reps he need. Saying with our first
round pick, saying with our second round pick. I just

don't understand unless you are filled with top quality starters,
how you're first and second and third round. Don't dominate
your rosters. If you're gonna build through the draft. And
these guys when they walk on the field, when they
get off the bus, off the plane, and off the uber,

If you're gonna go through the draft, if you're gonna
use free agency, maybe you can, you can have a
little competition thing. But if you're gonna use the draft

not get an opportunity to say, well, he didn't work out. No,

overpay your top notch players. You got the draft. That's
and that's why I've been saying the year in, the
year out, why is this guy not starting? We don't
go to the normal route. We don't play the free
agency game. If you don't play the free agency game,
every guy you bring in here by trade or by draft.

and that's what you have to accept. But if you're
talking about drafting somebody and developing somebody and talking about
the first, second or third round, your first round of
got to start. He can't unless let's say a healthy
Philadelphia offensive line and they say, the best guy on
our board is an offensive line. Well, he may not
come in there and start, but if you're the Dallas Cowboys,

go through these growing pains.

it's a domino effect because good linebackers are the ones
that a good defensive line keep clean. It's when it's

can get to that second level right away. Now, that
linebacker at two hundred and forty five fifty pounds got
to deal with a dude who's three hundred, who is

back as soon as Nate gets close enough to that linebacker,
that running back's coming right off his tail. So either
you gonna run right ato three hundred pounds or I'm
gonna get my hands on you and move you out

to win a championship, it is paramount that you really
push all the cards on the table if you have

got it. We are set at corner, we got a

not good enough. We don't know that yet. I mean
a few of them we do, but a lot of
them we don't. And the longer this thing go and

get better for us. It's gonna get uglier because you
can't have eight guys with ninety five percent of your
Sarah cap. You got and that's where depth come in at.
That's where you got to go out draft a guy
that is healthy, that has not had a career college

field with injuries, go out and draft. A, Hey, this
is a third round pick. This is what we projected
him at. This is what he is. We didn't have
to reach for him. This is who he is. He's healthy,
he's ready to come in. That's inserting. Let's make sure
he get the reps he need. Saying with our first

don't understand unless you are filled with top quality starters,
how you're first and second and third round. Don't dominate
your rosters. If you're gonna build through the draft. And
these guys when they walk on the field, when they

If you're gonna go through the draft, if you're gonna
use free agency, maybe you can, you can have a
little competition thing. But if you're gonna use the draft

not get an opportunity to say, well, he didn't work out. No,

overpay your top notch players. You got the draft. That's
and that's why I've been saying the year in, the
year out, why is this guy not starting? We don't
go to the normal route. We don't play the free
agency game. If you don't play the free agency game,
every guy you bring in here by trade or by draft.

but I hate to do that four years in a row.
But I think Scottie shot he's doing a really good
job building the culture. But it always seems like we
have a good offense and a crappy defense or vice versa.
