I'm not mistaken, I know is he is he a
local kid? It was that Jordan Tyson, I know his
brother who plays in the NBA. Talking about talking about
a family full of jeans. His brother played high school

ball here. Yeah, I want to say, I want to
say so, so I mean bringing a local kid back home.
Jordan Tyson one of the highest rated receives and that
and again all recispect you here, but to come out
to have that definitive statement, to have the you know,
the rumblings around it, and we don't know who's going

to be picked. We saw the picture of the war
room with all those guys, and you know in there,
no one knows, no one knows how the draft may fall.
Someone in front of the Cowboys may take Jordan Tyson
and they might not have the ability to do so, right,
But in the event that they do decide to draft
Jordan Tyson in the first round, yeah he's out, Allen, Okay, Yeah,

I remember, I know, I remember his brother. I knew
of his brother. So, yeah, a local kid out. That
would be another one of those local kids stories that
they come back home. And but there's no way you
keep Tyson, CD and George Pickens, I told you, I
told you guys back in whenever whenever Combine time was

and I got a chance to sit down, as Jerry
and Stephen would say, I got a chand to sit
down with one of the principals and these type of negotiations,
and I told y'all then buckle up that this thing
was going to be. It was going to be, it
was going to be a role Rod And you know,
the Joneses and the and the Cowboys front office, they
they kind of smacked down their first spade and said,

we are no longer negotiating. He will play on the
tag this year. And that's that's tough to say when
you have a July fifteenth deadline to sign a tag.
You know, excuse me to to do the nego up
to negotiations and for them to say in April that
we are we are not negotiating at all, Like we're

done negotiating. So y'all no need to call us. And
Steven said, we talked to we talked to his representative
for about five or ten minutes, and we let them
know and everything is clear cut. How we're going to
do this in April, Yeah, not May not June, not
July fourteenth, because he got to the fifteenth. In April,

they said there will be no negotiation. He will play
on the franchise tackle he won't play at all. That's
what it is to me that that was a very,
very definitive statement.

And I think that's just he's just negotiating. He's saying, Okay,
we're not We're not you know, you know, this is
where we stand. He's putting the ball in Lullgetti's court
to do. What would it I think if he calls,
I mean, they're not gonna not talk to him. But
I think I think it's a negotiating ployee. You know
that they're gonna make him if they want a deal,

they're gonna have to talk to the cowboys, and they're
gonna have to listen. You know, they're gonna have to
play ball with the cowboys. But they're not cowboys. Aren't
gonna spend forty mili on Pickens And if he's not
willing to take that, you know, thirty million or whatever.
And I don't think, don't waste our time calling. I
think I think he's just I think it's too one

he's putting up in negotiations. This is just a negotiations
thing to play hardball with Pickens group, And he's kind
of putting it out there to the world like, hey,
call us we got a guy for sale here. If

is not worth two first round picks. I don't give

back in that I could take a second or third,

or a starting corner that's of that caliber, you go cool,

a seventh or six in exchange for George Pickens. You
know what I'm saying, Like, then that would when I
see the entire deal, then I would be like, Okay,
that makes sense.

of late. You heard of the Cowboys. You know, hey,
they may take a wide receiver and you know in

the first round one in particular Jordan Tyson. And if
I'm not mistaken, I know is he is he a
local kid? It was that Jordan Tyson, I know his
brother who plays in the NBA. Talking about talking about
a family full of jeans. His brother played high school

ball here. Yeah, I want to say, I want to
say so, so I mean bringing a local kid back home.
Jordan Tyson one of the highest rated receives and that
and again all recispect you here, but to come out
to have that definitive statement, to have the you know,
the rumblings around it, and we don't know who's going

to be picked. We saw the picture of the war
room with all those guys, and you know in there,
no one knows, no one knows how the draft may fall.
Someone in front of the Cowboys may take Jordan Tyson
and they might not have the ability to do so, right,
But in the event that they do decide to draft
Jordan Tyson in the first round, yeah he's out, Allen, Okay, Yeah,

I remember, I know, I remember his brother. I knew
of his brother. So, yeah, a local kid out. That
would be another one of those local kids stories that
they come back home. And but there's no way you
keep Tyson, CD and George Pickens, I told you, I
told you guys back in whenever whenever Combine time was

and I got a chance to sit down, as Jerry
and Stephen would say, I got a chand to sit
down with one of the principals and these type of negotiations,
and I told y'all then buckle up that this thing
was going to be. It was going to be, it
was going to be a role Rod And you know,
the Joneses and the and the Cowboys front office, they
they kind of smacked down their first spade and said,

we are no longer negotiating. He will play on the
tag this year. And that's that's tough to say when
you have a July fifteenth deadline to sign a tag.
You know, excuse me to to do the nego up
to negotiations and for them to say in April that
we are we are not negotiating at all, Like we're

done negotiating. So y'all no need to call us. And
Steven said, we talked to we talked to his representative
for about five or ten minutes, and we let them
know and everything is clear cut. How we're going to
do this in April, Yeah, not May not June, not
July fourteenth, because he got to the fifteenth. In April,
(11:30):
they said there will be no negotiation. He will play
on the franchise tackle he won't play at all. That's
what it is to me that that was a very,
very definitive statement.

And I think that's just he's just negotiating. He's saying, Okay,
we're not We're not you know, you know, this is
where we stand. He's putting the ball in Lullgetti's court
to do. What would it I think if he calls,
I mean, they're not gonna not talk to him. But
I think I think it's a negotiating ployee. You know
that they're gonna make him if they want a deal,

they're gonna have to talk to the cowboys, and they're
gonna have to listen. You know, they're gonna have to
play ball with the cowboys. But they're not cowboys. Aren't
gonna spend forty mili on Pickens And if he's not
willing to take that, you know, thirty million or whatever.
And I don't think, don't waste our time calling. I
think I think he's just I think it's too one

he's putting up in negotiations. This is just a negotiations
thing to play hardball with Pickens group, And he's kind
of putting it out there to the world like, hey,
call us we got a guy for sale here. If
you want to trade, we're we're open for business.

is not worth two first round picks. I don't give
