Speaker 1 (00:03):
Huh, God, bless you. God bless you. God bless you,
God bless you. And I don't mean that as a saying.
I mean yahweh. Eloheim. Actually I said God. So I'm saying, Eloheim,
bless you. Now. Blessed means make you happy. It means
fulfill your needs. It means fulfill your dilemmas. It means
(00:28):
fulfill your fulfill you, and fulfill has to do with
your mind, body, soul, your intentions, your legacy. So when
I say God, bless you, I mean while it's a
short phrase and we tend to use it offhandedly, I'm
letting you know that I mean it in all those
all of those ways that I just named, more that
(00:50):
I could name, and also more that I haven't even
learned yet. But it's in God's portfolio. It's in his
etern purpose. It's in his purpose. And so Elohem and
I will take this opportunity to remind you, since I
(01:12):
started out Eloheim when I say God, to remind you
that when God introduced himself in the Pentateuch, in the beginning,
God he started out with some a phrase that teaches
a universe of things more than a universe of things,
(01:37):
and the part of it that I often share, how
that in the beginning has five things to it, that
has more, it has other in another aspect, however, I
generally show you time order, place, position purpose before he
(01:59):
even and lets you know the name, and some of
you will say title if you've went to seminary or
whatever some Sunday school things. And before he even gives
you the name title, introducing himself, he gives you these
(02:24):
aspects that he is taking us in. We learned this later.
He starts us out there time order, place, position, purpose,
and I do my fingers to make sure I don't
leave one out time order, place, position purpose, and that
(02:45):
gets to be important for the things that we learn
all through the Word of God. That's where he starts us,
before he even says eloheim. And then he's the one
who uses alohem. Now he's God, he knows. And when
I say God, I'm coming back to the way that
(03:08):
we use that word God in English, in particular in society,
whether it's religious society or society at large. That's a
phrase at large. Just looked up the word at and
looked up the word large, you wouldn't get the meaning
of that phrase. That's something. I also want you to
(03:32):
know about the word. When God reveals a thing, you
don't just want to look up a specific word. You
want to look up the word where he uses that
specific word to see how he uses it, because there's
some things in the scripture that the whole thing is
a phrase like thorn in the flesh or thorn in
(03:55):
the eyes or pricks in the eyes, and the whole
the entire phrase. And I might say it wrong, so
look it up, but it's thorn in the eye, pricks
in the flesh. It might be the other way around,
pricks in, pricks in the eye and thorn in the flesh.
And if you looked up each word on that phrase,
(04:16):
excuse me, my nose is itching. If you looked up
each word in that phrase, you wouldn't get the meaning
of the phrase. However, if you look it up every
time it's used, then you would also see that sometimes
half of the phrase is used and sometimes one half,
sometimes another half. It still has the meaning. And I'll
(04:38):
let you know that one of it is that people
who will disturb you so much, And it's a people,
And I'm letting you know that so that when you
see it in the New Testament, and you see it
where Paul refers to it, and a lot of teaching
(04:59):
likes to connect his thorn in the flesh to the
problem he had with his eyes. However, whenever you see it,
see that phrase through the Old Covenant, God has already
taught us what I call the front end and the
back end of that phrase. It's people, and connecting to
what Paul said, I would let you know that keeping
(05:23):
it the way God uses that phrase, it would be
is it Alexander the Coppersmith that the apostle Paul lets
us know. I want to go use the phrase. But
today's lesson is on Proverbs six. I'm giving this ahead
of time for us to know that by the time
(05:46):
we get to the Book of Proverbs, God has already
taught us many things about him, about his way, about
our purpose and how we are to do and also
not do. And he started out in the beginning time
(06:07):
order place, position, purpose elohem, and then elohem is the
plural of a word l. He doesn't stop to explain that,
He just uses that. However, we need to know and
understand that there is a plurality to God, his purpose
(06:30):
and his will, not just the Trinity yes, yes, yes,
but he hasn't introduced that yet. And because I said that,
I'm going to jump ahead and let you know that
the very next name that he reveals or title is
(06:51):
Ruh Eloheim, Spirit of God. And I know we're in
the habit of saying father, Son, holy Ghost. However, the
way God introduced and you want to know things the
way He did them, he interrupts himself to introduce Ruch
(07:12):
Aloheim's spirit of Aloheim. And he hasn't even told us
what rug is at this point. And I'm letting you
know these things so that you understand. One of the
things that God does is set us up to know something,
set us up to have the revelation of a thing
(07:33):
and according to Him, according to his word, before we
even get to know the revelation of the thing or
the information of a thing according to man. And with that,
I do want to delve into Proverbs six, and so
(07:55):
I'll let you know that some of what God has
given us in Proverbs. By the time we get there,
we've learned so many things. And one of the things
that I'll share with you, especially if you're a modern
day Christian or even an old day Christian, you probably
don't know something that God ordained concerning his word, concerning
(08:19):
where the Book of Proverbs comes in. And that means
that there's some things that we don't know, or we
think we know, we misunderstand and don't know that we
don't know. And one of those is the order of
(08:42):
the Hebrew Canon and Proverbs in our Bibles is in
the wrong place because we use Roman order. And I'm
not talking about Roman Catholic no no, no, no, no
no no. I'm talking about political Rome from the olden
(09:05):
ancient days. And I don't want to get all into
that because this is a long chapter. And you see
that I give long explanations. To give an explanation, to
give an understanding, I like to give the background so
that you know where it's from and so that you
(09:27):
know where to go to check it out, to study
it out. Now, the Book of Proverbs is in three portions,
not three equal portions. The Book of Proverbs is to Sun.
That's one part, and that is the first part. However,
(09:51):
when it moves to the next part, it doesn't mean
that it's no longer to the Sun. And I'm saying
that because in the day that we live in, we
have a have it of. When we're moving on, we
let go of what's behind. And that reminds me. I
(10:11):
want to share a phrase from Hebrews six, if I
can find it quickly. I'm so used to studying in
the order of the scriptures the way God gave them. However,
the Bible i'm looking in, it's in the Roman order
(10:33):
that's been all of our lives anyway, Hebrew's six, and
I do, of course on, okay, move on, because I'm
not getting to it quick enough. And one of the
things that I know about time and times is that
(10:57):
time for me looking it up, it's quick time. For
you listening to the broadcast tuning into the broadcasts, that
same time is longer for you than it is for me,
that exact same time. And that is something that God
has taught us. And we have misunderstandings and understandings and
(11:23):
pieces of understandings about time and times, like we know
that uh a day, what the Lord is as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as a day, and
so we calculate that exactly that way. One of the
things that I will let you know is that time
and times are different according to the experience and the place,
(11:45):
and that's not a good or bad or anything. It's
just something to know and remember. I like to remember it,
so I'm not looking things up because for to me
it's just a second or two, and for you it's time.
It's long, and it's distraction. However, what I was about
to share with you is Hebrew six begins with a
(12:09):
thought that includes what went before it, so it begins therefore,
so you need to know what he's talking about. However,
I want to share this one thing leaving the principles
of the doctrine of Christ. Leaving the principles doesn't mean
let go, and that's the principle that I want to
(12:32):
give you here, that moving on doesn't mean you let go.
It has more to do with that you grow. So
leaving the principles, Well, therefore, don't want to leave off
the therefore, because it's in God's word, and if you
leave it off, you might not go back and see
(12:54):
why what he is saying is so and the content
in which it is so. Therefore, leaving the principles of
the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection.
Now I know that messes with us right there, because
there's all kinds of doctrines about nobody's perfect and so
on and so forth. However, this is the word of
(13:16):
God and what he says is true. Therefore, leaving the
principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on
into perfection and watch what he says, not laying again
the foundation of And he names six things, and they're
in pairs, so it's three things. As far as three pairs,
(13:37):
it's six things. And I'm going to skip two verse
three six Hebrews sixty three, where he says, and this
we will do. So it's up to us to do it,
not just God doing it in us, through us for
us to us. He does do that. However, when we
(14:00):
have the oh here we go, well, we have the
response ability. That's what responsibility is when it comes to man.
When we have the responsibility, we don't just leave it
to God. God is doing oh, yes, he is. He
(14:20):
doesn't leave us to ourselves. And when he does, we're
in trouble that can't be undone because we did it. However,
he says, and this we will do. And this next
phrase is important. If see when God says, if we
(14:45):
don't need to ignore it, God permit so when you
deal with those things. There there's aspects in him that
everything isn't allowed. It's because we think it, well, we
learn to or whatever. So getting back to Proverbs six,
(15:05):
there's a lot that we've learned by the time we
even get to the book of Proverbs, and unfortunately for us,
there are some things that we haven't learned. And that's
the order of where Proverbs even comes in. However, the
first the Proverbs is to the son, the prince and
(15:27):
the king, and the first part is to the son.
So everything about sonship, you don't stop being a son
just because as a matter of fact, you can be
a prince because you're the son, and you can be
a king because you're the son and became the prince,
(15:48):
all because of whose son you are. So don't take
the thinking of Proverbs. I'm sharing with you. It's to
the son, to the prince, to the king, and the
first part is to the son the relationship that you have,
(16:12):
and then to the princes. A son learns the rules.
You know, when you have your children, you love them
and you teach them and all that. But they learn
the rules of mommy and daddy. They learned the rules
of the house, they learn the rules of living. Those
are all different things, and you will while you are
(16:33):
learning it all at the same time, you're not learning
it all at the same degree, depending on the age
you are or how long you are in the sonship
or the daughtership. It is that way in the Book
of Proverbs. So by the time we get to six
and I might want to try to read through the
(16:54):
whole chapter because it's a long chapter, and you can
see the way that I teach a thing, the hour
will be before we even get through half. So I
want you to understand that it's to the son, and
the son is at a certain aspect. The son learns
the rules. The rules of the kingdom is one of
these things here that you get to know and see
(17:17):
that where this is it's moving from sonship to prince
because the prince not only has learned the rules as
a son and in all these different aspects that I
just now mentioned, but the prince now also learns friends
and relationships. Now, just like a child a son, your
(17:42):
first relationships are the ones close and loving, you hope,
and then you learn other relationships. However, with this here
that by the time part of how you know that
this is going into the prince. Instruction to the prince,
because it's going to tea to you the rules of
relationships and not just the ones that are best and close,
(18:07):
like your best friend and this and that. My son, Okay,
so we're still because you're a son, you're going to
learn these rules. However, it's going into prince. Because you're
a son, you can even be the prince. And then
(18:33):
it's going to look like the subject doesn't have to
do with any of that. That's why I gave you
the background on it to understand how God gives it
to us. So Proverbs is to the son, the prince,
and the king. The son is in relationship. The son
learns rules according to the relationship and the relationships. The
(18:55):
prince learns how things work, how people work, how the
son works. And then the king learns the authority in
which to work at all. And there's more to the
sun than there is to the prince. Doesn't have to
(19:18):
do with how important it is. So here we go,
my son, if thou be surety for thy friend. Notice
he said thy friend. So some of those first things
for the son to learn in relationship is your friends,
not just people because Proverbs is going to deal with
(19:39):
all kinds of people and whether or not they're in
your best friend or even your friend. But here we're
still talking sonship, moving into prince or princeship and relationships.
And your friend, God is teaching us your friend, if
(20:04):
thou'll be sure to you for thy friend. And notice
there's these ifs in here. It means that, like going
back to Genesis, you're supposed to pay attention to what's
going on because God is giving different time, order, place,
physician purpose. He's given some different aspects of things here,
and you're supposed to have already learned how to pay
(20:25):
attention to each of those different aspects. One of the
things that I like to name from Ephesians, and I
want to turn to it, so I say it in
order because the order is important. But the love of
Christ in Christ Jesus, I mean the love of God
in Christ Jesus. He talks about the height, length, depth,
(20:46):
and breath, and I say it that way, and God
taught me because that's the order in which I tend
to move and recognize things. However, the order that He
gave it is breath, length, debth, and height, and I
invite you to look it up. I remind myself that
you know, we learned our abcs. I remind myself though
(21:09):
it starts with B so breath and breath is how wide.
So there's all these different aspects in this chapter. If
you don't know that the whole chapter is about living
out a situation, you'll think that, oh, this is this situation,
and this is that situation, and this is the other situation.
(21:32):
And most of us, especially in the time we're living in,
we are living out things, and especially trials and especially testings,
and especially testimonies. And I hope you're not moaning and
get to the place where it is a testimony. However,
we're living out things, and it's a whole bunch of
stuff all at once, and it's severe all at once.
(21:54):
It's not just some little things that you can put
on the back burner. That expression here again, and getting
to expressions. If you look up back and you look
up burner, you're not going to know what the expression
back burner means. Okay, So, my son, if thou be
surety for thy friend if and that's in Italic, so
(22:18):
it's not in the Hebrew, thou hast stricken noticed the
word he used stricken like this needs to get your
our attention, thy hand with a stranger. So now we're
seeing this in the Prince. You get relationships and you'll
(22:40):
do some things with your friend that you'll do with
a stranger, some of it because maybe that's how you are,
or maybe that's how you are with certain circumstances, and
the stranger is in that circumstance. I remember seeing a
stranger who was stranded in from from Massachusetts. No went
(23:07):
to Massachusetts from one of the Carolinas or something like that.
I might misremember that. And they're stranded in Pennsylvania because
their truck broke down. They're a stranger. I'm gonna help them.
That's how I am. And I'm gonna help them this way,
this way, this way, and this way, because that's how
I am. That's why God says in the beginning Eloheen,
(23:32):
he wants you to know some things about how he is,
some things about how things are for us time, order, place, position, purpose,
because not everybody is going to do something or a
stranger that they would do for a friend. Me. I'm
one of those. So this warning is particularly important for
(23:56):
somebody like me and sood like you person of excellence,
because people of excellence do outrageous, outlandish and not the
first thing and out of the box type things because
that's how they are. That's what they do. Or I
should say we, I need to stop saying they, my son,
(24:20):
if thou'll be surety, that's if you co sign. That's
why this is called proverb six or co signing. And
I want you to recognize the whole chapter has to
do with this, so that even though if you jump
to the last verse it looks like it doesn't have
anything to do with co signing, oh yes it does,
because this is how it's lived out. These are the
(24:42):
things that happen though you wouldn't think so, God lets
us know. So. So if thou hast stricken thy hand,
you did it. Nobody talked you into it. And if
they talked you into it, you were still the one
who did it. You're the one who still is responsible.
(25:08):
And don't forget you have response ability. Don't think you're
under the knife, under the gun, under the circumstance stance
because you keep thinking that you're going to deal with
it like that and you're not going to and you're
going to get out of order, the time, the order,
the place, the position, and the purpose. So do understand
(25:30):
that made in God's image, and especially if you've come
to Jesus Christ as savior, especially if the spirit that
raised up Jesus from the dead, if he baptized you
into the body of Christ. With that came not just
the responsibility that God gave man, the response ability to
(26:00):
respond with God's glory, God's majesty, God's purpose. Ah. Okay, however,
this one's a warning. Thou Art snared with the words
of thy mouth. Now you can read that with a
different tone of voice. I'm always letting you know how
(26:22):
that the scripture lets us know that Adam and Eve
or Adam walked with the voice of God. When you
hear the voice with words, it can give totally different meanings.
One can say, thou Art snared with the words of
thy mouth. The other can say, thou Art snared with
(26:42):
the words of thy mouth. Thou Art snared with the
words of thy mouth. Thou Art snared with the words
of thy mouth. You see, because by the time you've
gotten to the Book of Proverbs, you've learned God's word
shows you different not only attributes, but power of tongue, teeth, mouth,
(27:08):
I'm leaving something out. However, by the time you get
to Proverbs, God has taught those things. And like I
think it's the virtuous woman in Proverbs thirty one, the
law of kindness is on her tongue. And when you
go back and see the things about tongue, you see
(27:29):
different authority and different effects and affects of tongue, and
you see that with mouth. So just giving that same
phrase thou Art snared with the words of thy mouth,
giving it in a different voice. You want to hear
God's voice speaking to you so that you know what
(27:52):
he is saying, and not just what you think he's
saying or what it is according to how you are
and how the way you are or where you are.
And I mean as opposed to his sonship or princeship,
because if you're the prince and he's talking to you
as a son, then you want to pay close attention
and better attention. Doesn't mean you're not the prince anyway.
(28:18):
Like I said, read the whole chapter because it's all related.
It's all how things work out. If you's co signed.
This whole chapter pertains to the life that happens after
and in the co signing, whether it's for the friend
(28:39):
or for the stranger. And let me. And I'm saying
this because when you right now, I'll jump down to
the last two verses. For jealousy, it's the rage of
a man. If that person calls back again, I'm going
(29:00):
have to pick it up the last two verses of
this verse chapter six of Proverbs. For jealousy is the
rage of a man. Therefore he will not spare in
the day of vengeance. He will not regard any ransom.
Neither will he rest content. Though thou givest many gifts.
(29:25):
Now that I'm showing you without you going through it
and separating it according to the different things that you
think might be the next thing and the next thing.
Now that I'm showing you and giving you the understanding
that all of this deals with the things that unfold
in co signing. Now you can see that some things
(29:46):
will happen. And now you can see the relationship that
giving many gifts, because when you co sign sometimes you
end up giving all kinds of gifts to straighten something out.
Now you can see that relationship. However, living it out
the way we live a thing out according to our time.
If you're not paying attention to God's time and timing
(30:09):
and only going according to your time and timings, you're
going to I'll use this cup as an example. I
didn't mean to bring it, but I brought it. Now,
the cup is a cup, and I had something in
the cup, and I was using what was in the cup,
and I also was using the cup for another thing. Okay,
now I just now took off the lid. The lid
(30:31):
is part of the cup. But because of what I'm explaining,
I put off the lid and moved it away. You
can't even see it. It doesn't mean it's not part
of it. I want you to understand that about the
Book of Proverbs, when you read a chapter, the things
of life that are going on, all of it, all
of it. Okay, Now, let's at least understand as the
(30:57):
sun in princeship moving into princeship. Remember, because prince learns
their friends, but they also learn associates, and they also
learn enemies. Okay, and here we go. If thou art
(31:19):
snared with the words of thy mouth, you said it,
you did it, And notice it's words of your mouth.
You want to look up mouth in the scriptures and
see the different things that happens concerning mouth, or the
different authority and ways where mouth deals. And I mean
(31:42):
the way we put it today, the pros and the
cons Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Now that can be taken a couple of different ways.
But I want to move on. I want you, I
think you get it now that you understand that you
can end up being taken like scammed, or it can
(32:08):
be that it's taken to include all of the words
of your mouth, not just what you meant, not just
what you signed, but the words of your mouth. I
do a whole course on it. One tongue, talk, teeth,
(32:29):
mouth and lips, because they have different aspects and different effects,
and different things are going on. When it's the lips
and you can't talk without your tongue, and you use
your lips to talk, it's just that God's word shows
you different aspects are happening from the tongue, from the teeth,
(32:53):
from the lips, from the mouth. And I still want
to teach you that. However, I have a course on that.
Do this now, see when the stuff starts to happen,
when the ifs start to happen. You want to know
from the Lord what to do, and right now, right here,
(33:15):
he gives you what to do. All of what you
come up with might not be what to do. It
might be good ideas, because God has given you ideas.
God has given you to think. Well, however, his thoughts.
He lets us know his thoughts. Our thoughts aren't his thoughts.
And that doesn't mean that they're bad or wrong. They
(33:35):
get very often that is the case. It's that there's
a whole different aspect of thinking and human thinking than God.
And when if you're snared at all, much less with
the words of your own mouth, you want to know
what would God have you do? And he says do this,
(33:56):
And notice he says now like, don't wait, don't think
about it, don't has it? Okay, do this now, my son,
And you're still in sonship. He's not disowning you. Remember
how God says, you know, if any lack wisdom, let
him ask of God and he'll give it to you
liberally and won't upbraide you. He won't fuss you out
about it. He won't be all over your case on
(34:16):
the dumb stuff you did when when you were moving
and thinking and figuring it out without wisdom. No, he'll
give you the wisdom. So here he says, do this now,
my son. And I actually I brought it up because
I want to see in the Hebrews is this this
(34:42):
word now? Because is it the way that I'm using it? Okay,
do this now, my son. I want to go into
the Hebrew because we in the Faith chapter, now, faith
is the substance of things hoped for. And I remember
(35:04):
I knew better, and I heard myself re listen to
the broadcast, not this one. This was years ago, and
I already knew better that the word now in that
Faith chapter doesn't mean it doesn't have to do with time.
It's more likely therefore, pardon me. So I want to
look this one up to see does this word now
(35:28):
Blueletterbible dot org. In this isn't the way that it's time,
because a whole lot of time happens. Jump. And here
again I apologize because while to me this is quick
for you, it's taking longer than it is for me.
(35:55):
And also the number five so that I can ah, Nope,
numbers fifteen went too far, So pick number fourteen. And
now I know that that's taking longer, so that, okay, go,
(36:22):
I want to see it does now have to do
with time or does it have to do with and
they don't cover it in this one. Okay, so I'm
going to leave it alone. I should have left it alone.
And that's another thing why that you don't just do
it according to what you think, because I was thinking
that I wanted to share with you what part of
(36:45):
speech now is does it have to do with time
or does it have to do with and moreover therefore
or because however, my idea that I wanted you to
know that interrupts THEO. It made it take too long
and it interrupted your time. You remember, just explained to you.
For me to do a thing, it's a few seconds,
(37:06):
but for those viewing, the timing is longer, and that's
not correct to do for you. And I want to
do for you correctly. So I needed to have listened
to the Lord. And right now I'm being an example
of this. Don't just figure it out on your own.
You listen to him to know what to do so
(37:28):
that you know how to get through. I'll let you know.
Now we like to quote we people who belong to God,
who know the word leaders preachers, Pausles and all of
that leaders, not just the babes. We're in a time,
human time where we are saying and saying. Now, God
(37:52):
gave us to say. When you read Genesis, that's part
of the example. He gave a being in his image.
He gave us authority to say, and it and it
moves things in time and times. So we are saying,
God won't put on you more than you can bear. Now,
that's a scripture. However, we are missing the very next
(38:13):
phrase of that scripture. That's not the whole thought, it's
not even half the thought. And the very next phrase
he lets us know he'll give a way of escape.
He won't put more on you than you can bear.
(38:34):
And please go read it the way that he said it,
because it's not without a way of escape. Some things
are more than you can bear. And he gives the
way out. He gives the way out from the snare. Okay,
(39:01):
don't think, oh I gotta bear this, I gotta bear this.
You need to find out from him. And here's what
he said, do this now, not you figuring it out
as a matter of fact, not even you praying it out.
And I don't mean don't pray. I'm saying that he
didn't wait for you to ask him to pray it
(39:24):
and to do all that. It doesn't mean don't I'm
showing you that he said do this now, and I
wanted to look up that. Now. Does it mean now
as covering this whole base or does it mean now
as right at this moment? And it probably has to
(39:45):
do with all of that. So watch this, and then
he says, and deliver thyself. So now you know it's
not just to go through, it's to be delivered. And
even then, part of why you want to do that
is because does the deliverance happen like right now? Or
does the deliverance happen like Psalm twenty three. You know,
(40:09):
a table set for you, but in the presence of
your enemies, is it or is it going to be
like with David? You know you destroyed all your enemies
and now you're celebrating together. And David lived all of
those different ways. By the way, King David, I'm talking about, Okay,
(40:32):
do this now and deliver thyself. When thou art come
unto the hand of thy friend, now coming into the
hand of the friend. I'll give you an example. I've
had friends, dear friends take me to court for stuff
like what like, we're Christians and you don't even know
(40:53):
the word that we're not supposed to take each other
to court. A whole lot of Christians don't know that,
by the way, and I can give it to you
in the word, but you're not supposed to take when
we are not supposed to take each other to court,
God's not pleased with it. And I want to get
(41:15):
down to verse sixteen of this because there's some things
that God says, these things God hates, these sixth things
God hates, and the seventh is an abomination. And yet
the seventh is something that we leaders and preachers and
the timing and times of humanity and churchy anity. We're
(41:41):
doing that abomination and not even recognizing. And nobody's trying
to be an abomination to God. And yet that's what
we're doing if we recognize as word. And one of
the ways to get there is to co sign hello. Okay,
(42:02):
so that's only one of the ways right now we're
doing it over political stuff. Okay, do this now, my son,
and deliver thyself. When thou art coming to the hand
of thy friend, your friend, go, don't just sit on
(42:27):
your hands. Go humble thyself and make sure thy friendship,
not the contract, not the legalities, the friendship, solidify the friendship.
And that's when legal stuff is understood misunderstood, and legal
(42:52):
action is taken, and somebody like me is going to
know that you have no red taken legal action, and
somebody who takes legal action, she knows that that's not wrong.
We're going to get this straight, he says, go humble yourself,
(43:13):
not where I'm write and what I think and what's
all about me. Don't when you go to speak to
a person about something, try not to start out with
you saying to them you did you said, or you
(43:35):
should or you did. Start out humble yourself and let
it start somewhere other than you, because it's just like
that pointing the finger type of thing. And that's hopefully
that's not what you mean. And if it is, you
(43:57):
need to go back to where he said, do this now.
And then he said, go humble thyself and make sure
thy friend, not just make sure the contract, not just
make sure the legalities, make sure thy friend. And then
(44:19):
he says it's almost like he's saying, again, go and
do this now, give not sleep to thine eyes, nor
slumber to thy eyelids. Some things will wear you out,
yes they will, and don't give in to that. Deliver
thyself as the row from the hand of the hunter,
(44:44):
and the bird from the hand of the fowler. God's
letting you know what it's like. This is your friend,
and you think your friend would never do you any harm. Look,
stop sleeping on it. Stop go do this now. Deliver
thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter,
(45:05):
and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
All of this is going on in that if you
co signed. If you co signed rather for your friend
or for the stranger, it'll take it longer to go ugly,
or it can take longer to go ugly if it's
your friend. Anyway, read the whole chapter because no, I'm
(45:30):
trying to see where the time is. Go to the anthouse, sluggard. Now,
he's letting you know you're being sluggered because God's word
calls you that when you're busy, I'm going to sleep
on it. I'm gonna think about it and let God
(45:50):
talk to me in my sleep. Yeah, God talks to
man in his sleep. What he said is go do
this now, and you're I'll call it procrastinating. But when
we're procrastinating, we normally don't think we are, and then
we don't see oh until after the fact. Go to
(46:13):
the ant. I'll sluggard, consider her ways and be wise.
You're smarter than an ant. God made you smarter than
an ant, than an insect. However, when you're being slugged,
you're not even being as wise as an ant. Recognize that,
and the ant can be your example, as God gives
(46:35):
it here which having no guide, Oh, I can't move
till I know what to do. I can't move till
I have the lawyer tell me. The attorney guide me.
The ant having which, having no guide, overseer or ruler,
provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food
(46:59):
in the heart, knows the time and timings, knows summer
is a season, and harvest is a reason. Harvest is
a system. So I'll put it this way. I might
actually make a course called this seasons and systems. Now,
(47:23):
you thinking it out on your own, maybe you'd come
up with it, and maybe you wouldn't. However, when God says,
go do this, now, He's given you the understanding of
it now, and then he lets you know that you
just look at the ant. I made you smarter than
an ant. You have better instincts than an ant anyway
that you want to take it. You've got more and
have more than the ant. And yet the nose seasons.
(47:43):
The ant no seasons and systems in relation to its meat. Okay,
And you need to know the season and systems and
relation to coke signing, And this whole chapter gives you that.
So without guide oversee or a ruler, provides her meat in
(48:07):
this summer and gathers her food in the harvest. So
provision and gathering they're two different things. How long wilt
thou sleep, o sluggard? He already told you don't sleep.
(48:28):
How long wilt thou sleep, o sluggard? When wilt thou
arise out of thy sleep? None of us are doing
this on purpose. I remember the only time Jesus ever
asked for prayer, The only time Jesus ever asked for prayer.
The three disciples that he took with him to the
(48:49):
garden to pray with him, and he asked them to
pray for him. When he came back to look and see,
he went and prayed to the Father. He comes back
and they're asleep, and one of the Gospels lets us
know they slept for sorrow. Things can make you so
depressed that you feel like you can't do anything but sleep,
(49:12):
and not just feel like, before you even feel it,
you're asleep. And God lets us know. Yet, well, I
think I left off versus how long wilt thou sleep,
o sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet?
(49:33):
A little sleep and a little slumber, a little folding
of the hands to sleep. So shall thy poverty yours
personal to you? So shall thy poverty come on? Come on,
(49:59):
one that pardon me, I'm reading it wrong. So shalt
thou poverty come as one that traveleth ready to go
and going, and thy want as an armed man. Now,
poverty and one are different, different aspects. One is bad
and awful, and the other dire and cruel. A naughty person,
(50:24):
a wicked man walketh with the fraword of his mouth.
Remember when God says mouth, it has some different aspects,
effect and affect. He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh
with his feet, you know, like, oh, it's a trick
going on saying something out of his mouth, meaning something
(50:47):
he winks with his eyes. He speaks with his feet.
You need to watch where he's going and what he's doing.
Remember the word of thy word as a lamp to
your feet. One of the things God showed me. That's
showing you where you're standing. You can look at his
feet and know where he's going. It's a light to
(51:07):
your path and lets you know where you're going. So
God is letting you know. He wakes with his eyes.
So if you miss that, he speaks with his feet.
He teacheth with his fingers. You can watch what's he's saying.
You can know some things. God's given you wisdom here
co signer Forwardness is in his heart. He devises mischief,
(51:35):
and not just that's not a period there. He devises
mischief continually. He seweth discord, and I'll break that word down, discord,
no more chord. That's why in the very beginning, make
sure thy friend, and you want to do that so
(51:59):
that he doesn't end up the stranger or your enemy,
so that there's no diss on the cord. And then
he says, therefore, shall his calamity comes suddenly? Suddenly? Shall
he be broken without remedy, he won't be able to
fix that. He thinks he's fixing you, he won't be
(52:22):
able to fix that own situation. This is important. These
six statements doth the Lord hate, and the Lord is Yahweh.
Remember he's the one who ratifies covenant, the one who
keeps covenant. Okay, that's part of the third name title
that God introduces in Genesis. It's Yahweh Eloheim, not just Yahweh.
(52:47):
Doesn't use Yahweh for several chapters. These six things doth
the Lord hate, does Yahweh hate yeay, seven are an
abomination to him. So all these things are going to
go on with co signing, whether you catch it or not.
That's why He's given it to you in his word.
Here a proud look, a lying tongue, and God wants
(53:11):
you know he hates these things, six of them, but
the seventh is an abomination. A proud look, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood. Remembercanan abel and heart
that devises wicked imaginations. I'm gonna think it out, I'm
(53:34):
gonna plan it out. I'm gonna oh a heart. And
notice he says to heart, because you think you think
it from your head. You think you're imagining with your brain.
Pay attention to how God gives this thing. The heart
that devisth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running
(53:56):
to mischief. Oh, I want to deal with this so much.
And there's this is only verse nineteen we're coming up on,
and it goes all the way to thirty five versus
a false witness that speaketh the lies, and this is
number seven, and he that soweth a discord among the brethren. See,
(54:23):
when I just want to make it plain. I have
a chord, and I want to make it plain where
we differ or I have a different opinion and you
have a different opinion, And I'm going to say it
like this so that you get an understanding. So and
discord among the brethren. God said he hates He says
he hates it. And when we do this, and we're
(54:47):
not trying to be an abomination, but he lets you
know that it's an abomination to him. It's an abomination
to him. So yeah, we're coming up on the election.
Don't be an abomination to him. So on discord among
the brethren, here, take yourself to proverb six. However, back
(55:15):
on co signing, my son. And here again he's still
letting us know you're in relationship. Here there's a whole
lot of junk, a whole lot of stuff going on.
He's letting you know the process and what's going on.
Keep thy father's commandment as a son, remember the things
(55:39):
that your father taught you, and forsake not the law
of your mother. I want to so deal with that.
But we're in the last few minutes and I want
you to. I really would like you to stop and
go through the whole chapter and understanding that all of this,
all of this pertains to the life that's lived in
(56:01):
co signing. Bind them continually upon thine heart, your father,
the commandments of your father, and tie them about thy neck,
the commandments of your mother. Did I say it right?
(56:21):
The law of your mother, commandments of your father, and
the law of your mother. And when thou goest, it
shall lead thee. When thou sleepest, it shall keep thee.
And when thou awakest, it will talk to you. A
lot of us know. You can hear your mother talking,
and you can hear your father talking. Yeah, God's you know,
(56:43):
God's you know that's real. That's real. For the commandment
is a lamp, and the law is light. Don't think
you're going to forsake rules and law. It's light. It
shows you your path and reproofs of instruction are ways
(57:07):
of life. Now, I think I think it's it's time
to close. Okay, I'm looking at my phone. My phone
says I have three minutes. What can I get done
in three minutes? Notice, please understand this because if you don't,
(57:27):
if you don't stop to know the word, some of
this stuff you're not gonna think of. You're so busy
living the circumstance and then the next circumstance, and you
don't even know they're connected. You don't know that God
already told you that it's going that way. This is
where it's going. And this one here, Oh, most men
don't know that this is where you're headed. This is
(57:49):
where you're going smack dab into the arms of a
horsh woman. And I'm talking about you men that are
so full of God, love God so much you would
even think of a whore who is not on your mind,
not on your heart, not in your view. Cosign, it'll
take you there. You need to know that it'll take
(58:11):
you for by means of a whore. Oh, pardon me,
pardon me, I skipped too far. God, lets you know
that the commandments, particularly your father's, is a lamp, and
the law, particularly your mother's, is a light, and reproofs
(58:35):
of instruction are a way of life. Don't get upset
that you've been reproved. Watch to keep thee from the
evil woman. Most of men don't see her coming. One
of the proverbs tells you to make wisdom your sister.
(58:59):
And then the rest of that particular proverbs, let's you
know that she sees all the different ways of the
whore in the heart harlot, she sees everything she says,
She sees all the different ways. She knows it ahead
of time. And we'll let most men don't know they're
in trouble till they're in trouble. I'm talking about with
a woman. So to keep thee from the evil woman,
(59:19):
from the flattery of the tongue, member told you the
tongue of a strange woman. Plus not after her beauty
in thine heart, not just in your head, not just
in your circumstances, not just in the running into her
every time that coincidence. Neither let her take thee with
(59:45):
her eyelids, and that's something that God gave when you
look at when you look in and sung of Solomon,
Oh my, yeah, he lets he lets you know, just
the way you look could wake the dead. Yes. So
a woman's eyelids, Yeah, they do something to you. That's
not just the world, that's the word. But here he's
(01:00:05):
letting you know. When you're in that co signing and
her eyelids, you're like, uh uh uh uh huh no
no no, no, okay, finish the chapter and understand and
believe God's way, walk God's way, and don't sleep on it. Amen.
