It’s Dill Spears, Anna Hartvigson, and Ted Brogan!

We’re joined this week by Rebecca Styn and Rob Mahrt from Blind Tiger Spirit-Free Cocktails and Room 33 Speakeasy!

Why a speakeasy? We touch on all sorts of great topics: Rob’s obsession with first-edition books, how did Covid-19 and the ensuing lockdown effect their business? What pivots did they make? What was Rebecca’s process and inspiration for creating the spirit-free line of drinks?

The Atacolypse Food Truck Liquor (???) Segment: We check out the Blind Tiger Spirit-Free Cocktails, and give our opinions on them! We can’t recommend these highly enough! You can get yours at Room 33, 1033 State St, Erie PA, or check out to find other locations! As always, listen in to find out where the Atacolypse Food Truck will be serving up his magic! Don’t forget, you can always catch the beer segment LIVE on our Facebook page every Wednesday at 5:30!

They’re still concentrating on food, with a diverse menu including vegan and gluten-free options!

We talk a little about overcoming the “speakeasy” motif and the general shyness of some people, which is why they don’t have a doorman asking for a password right now.

=====================================================================We took some time to talk to Rob about his business, which is a very interesting endeavor working to limit pesticide use by releasing sterilized invasive insects into areas where they’re already prevalent, in order to bring the existing populations down. Working hand-in-hand with the FDA, they use a fleet of drones to assist apple growers in Washington state, and could be moving into other areas! This is a great segment (and Ted TOTALLY nerds out!) =====================================================================Do you feel like you aren't getting enough Idiotville?
