It’s Dill Spears, Brent N Liberty, and Anna Hartvigson!
We’re joined by local entrepreneur, podcast host, and owner of (among other things) Gisele Littrell!
This show is an absolute whirlwind! Gisele brings the level to about a 13! She’s got such a story!
She’s the owner of Tipsy Bean (2425 Peach St, Erie), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Gisele was featured on the second season of Undercover Billionaire: Comeback City! She’s a crucial part of the Hill District Collaborative, the group trying to revitalize Erie’s historic Federal Hill District, getting grant money to work on things like safety, curb appeal, and refurbishment of the storefronts on 140-year-old buildings! Why did she buy her property THERE?
Gisele had to amp up her options when it comes to the offerings at her café when the pandemic started, and that was happening right when she started on Comeback City, as well as immediately after she took a fall that led to her being in a walking boot! Did this slow her down? What do you think?=====================================================================The Atacolypse Food Truck Beer Segment: This week’s offering is “Stout at the Devil” an oatmeal coffee stout from Straight to Ale Brewing in Huntsville, AL. It’s a little hot at 7.8% abv, and we all gave it a 4.5/5, making it one of the highest rated beers we’ve ever had on the show. The only thing we could complain about is that it’s not available locally! We couldn’t track down the Conquistador this week, but as soon as his schedule updates, we will get it out to you, his loyal Taco-eating soldiers!
=====================================================================After the break:
Gisele talks curb appeal on Federal Hill – how can it be improved? What do we need to do from here? Who’s helping out? Are they getting support from City Hall? Resistance? What does Niken Carpenter have to do with all this?
Finally, Gisele can’t avoid talking about her own story any longer, as we corner her and get her to give us a little bit of a bio: find out where she gets her drive, her work ethic, and much more! Check out her podcasts, Honestceo and Unscripted, wherever fine podcasts are available!
