Recently Governor Kim Reynolds (R-IA) surprised even members of her own party when she, on Fox News, announced she wanted a bill on her desk to deal with keeping transgender youth from participating in sports. The bill would make sure kids who self-identify their gender are not allowed in sporting activities that do not match the sex of their birth. She says it is about "fairness".
