Um dos presos transportava mais de uma tonelada de cobre furtado. O estabelecimento irregular funcionava no Complexo da Pedreira e era administrado por dois irmãos. Eles já tinham passagens por roubo de veículos e cargas, além de receptação qualificada. Segundo a investigação, eles possuem vínculo com o Terceiro Comando Puro, facção criminosa que domina a região e dava proteção ao negócio ilegal. Mais de dez toneladas de material irregular foram apreendidas. E ainda: São Paulo registra mais oito ataques a ônibus e total chega a 483 desde junho.
