Gwen, the current inspector designate of Hinterland, is suddenly tasked to track down an escapee from Haven, a remote island enclave. Kept in ignorance of their captivity, no one from Haven has managed to escape before. However, even one individual from the enclave, free in the general population, could disrupt the world.
