In 2019 I started this podcast as Off Duty, then switched it a year later to 4.0-ing Life, but now we are back to Off Duty...why? Because as a mama and educator, sometimes I just need to take off both hats and be off duty to shoot the breeze and talk all about it. One thing I know for sure is that when you are at the highest part before you make it, it is so darn hard! I also know many are waiting to "catch" you, but the catch is more like a drop.
Change your perspective, energy level, and know that rotten fruit will fall on it's own. Allow your energy to move continuously to where you need it to go versus how those who don't want you to do well try to alter it.

If you can understand that people are not your competition and that they truly are the collaboration team you always dreamed of, then change is no longer a problem.
If you can make a small change and say that the outcome holds so much weight of greatness, then change is no longer a problem.
If you just jump or leap and know if it doesn't work out you can...change again, then change is no longer a problem.
So then jump... or in...
It's like your first relationship, when you got married, or when you had kids...it's a commitment. If you can't keep it, then what is the point?
Set goals, set expectations, but do it for you. Fitness is a way of life. Fitness is a bettering of yourself. Fitness is the "medicine" that we all need more of. So then why is it so hard to commit to yourself, when you commit so much of yourself to others and other things?

I don't want someone to like me because someone else said they should. I don't want someone to just follow me on instagram to "watch" me.
I want people that are interested in what I do, what I say, and actually care, because you're not my competition. Also I don't want seat fillers to have an auditorium filled of people that just don't get it.
So to the people that get me, listen, and love it all... thanks!
