He urged listeners to turn to Jesus, the only true source of living water, who offers the Holy Spirit to fill and empower us. The Holy Spirit is not an “it” but a person—God’s presence dwelling within believers. Through faith in Jesus, we are no longer empty, but filled in our soul and by the Spirit.
