When Emily Theurer (CAS’14) graduated from BU with a degree in economics, she found herself well equipped to navigate the complex world of finance at one of the largest firms in Boston. Today, she’s a Research Analyst at State Street Global Advisors and she’s passionate about promoting financial literacy, especially among women and girls.
This episode is hosted by Gabe Bolio (MET’16), Associate Director of Alumni Networks at BU. As you’ll hear, Gabe and Emily are working to build a powerful alumni network within State Street. If you are a State Street employee interested in being part of this community, reach out to Gabe at gbolio@bu.edu.
Emily also serves as a career advisor so if you’d like to connect with her directly, you can find her profile in the Career Advisory Network: bu.edu/alumni/can. For more on the Proud to BU podcast, visit bu.edu/alumni/podcast.
