El Consejo de Ministros aprobó la Estrategia España Turismo 2030, que plantea la transformación del sector hacia un modelo sostenible, equilibrado e inclusivo, centrado en las personas y con enfoque en la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental. La estrategia incluye cinco programas, 50 medidas y 148 acciones concretas, involucrando a ministerios, administraciones y agentes públicos y privados, y forma parte del Plan de Modernización y Competitividad del Turismo, respaldado con 3.400 millones de euros del Plan de Recuperación.
El gasto en viajes corporativos crece en 2025, pero de manera desigual: las grandes empresas revisan sus programas para priorizar eficiencia, sostenibilidad y control de costes, mientras las pymes mantienen una actitud más expansiva, considerando los desplazamientos como herramienta de negocio. Según el informe 2025 Corporate Travel Study de Deloitte, las multinacionales reducen viajes no esenciales y refuerzan la monitorización de emisiones y la selección de proveedores certificados ambientalmente.
