VP Hoteles ha iniciado una nueva etapa con el lanzamiento de Sognio, una marca que aspira a combinar el lujo accesible, la hospitalidad madrileña y una fuerte apuesta por el diseño y la tecnología. Así lo explicó su director general, Javier Pérez, en una entrevista concedida a Smart Travel News, en la que repasó el presente y el futuro del grupo hotelero.
Con una ocupación estival que ronda el 75-80 % en sus hoteles de cuatro estrellas y previsiones más moderadas para el segmento de lujo, Pérez reconoce que Madrid vive un momento dulce, aunque no exento de incertidumbres. “Hemos cerrado un primer semestre récord, pero notamos cierta ralentización en mercados clave como el americano”, señala. A pesar de ello, VP mantiene su estrategia de consolidación y mejora continua, más que de expansión a gran escala.
