In this first episode of my new "Adirondack Pioneers" series here on The 46 of 46 Podcast I tell the story of historic and iconic Adirondack Guide Orson "Old Mountain" Phelps. Old Mountain Phelps lived in Keene Valley, cut the first trail up his beloved Mt Marcy, and found fame as an iconic figure from the Adirondack Wilderness in the 1800's.
