In this episode of The Direct Sellers Podcast, Rachel Perry dives into why every direct seller should have a digital offer. If you’re relying solely on your company for income, you could be putting yourself at risk. Rachel shares how creating a simple digital product can give you security, help build your brand, and provide an additional revenue stream—without adding more hustle. Plus, she’s inviting you to join her Build Your First Digital Offer Challenge starting March 17th for just $1!

Key Points Covered:

  • What a digital offer is and how it can be a game changer for your business. Think mini-courses, guides, templates—things that solve a problem for your audience.
  • You don’t need to be tech-savvy or have a big audience to make this work. Rachel breaks down how simple it can be.
  • How to figure out what you can sell. Hint: You’re probably already teaching or solving problems for your customers.
  • Common excuses and why they don’t hold up. Whether it's time, tech fears, or self-doubt, Rachel busts through these mindset blocks.
  • How Rachel’s $19.99 mini-course turned into six figures. And how you can start building your own success.
  • The power of taking quick, messy action. Done is better than perfect when it comes to launching your first digital product.

for direct sellers who are readyto get uncomfortable, build
their business and grow a teamwhile changing the face of the
direct sales industry.
I'm your host, rachel Perry.
Join me as we get real and talkabout all the things you need
to kick some serious directsales booty From overcoming

(00:26):
limiting beliefs to sharing theexact strategies you need to
attract the right people whobecome customers and beg to join
your team.
I've got you covered, girl.
I'm going to be your new BFFwhen it comes to balancing life
and kids while building yourdirect sales business with poise
, peace of mind and, of course,a good set of fake eyelashes.
Let's get started.

(00:48):
Hey guys, welcome back toanother episode of the Direct
Sellers Podcast.
You know me, I'm your host, rachel Perry, and I am super
excited about today's topic.
We're gonna talk about youcreating a digital offer.
What?

(01:08):
Why are we talking about that, rach?
Okay, I'm here to tell you whywe're talking about it.
Okay, listen.
You guys know, one of mybiggest passions is getting you
guys set up for the what-ifs,like if your company were to
close or change its model.
I want you to be secure andprotected.
I want you to have a brand thatis more than just your product,

(01:30):
more than just your company.
I wanna help you build so muchsecurity in your life that you
don't rely on just one stream ofincome.
You're not relying on thiscompany right To be the be all
and end all for you.
You are creating something ofyour own and it doesn't have to
be complicated.
And you heard before, probablyat the very beginning, about the

(01:53):
challenge that I am doingstarting March 17th.
It's called the Build yourFirst Digital Offer Challenge,
and you can get in now for justa dollar.
Just use code MYGIFT, go torachelaperrycom forward slash
challenge and I'm literallygoing to walk you through
figuring out what yoursuperpower is and what you could
create.
Then we're going to create it,the actual digital product, and

(02:17):
then I'm going to teach you howto market it.
Like all of that in just threedays.
Okay, so if you have everthought about adding another
stream of income to your life,or you've thought about creating
something of your own but don'thave a clue of what to sell or
you're not really sure what thatmight look like, this episode

(02:39):
is for you.
Here's the thing.
Having your own digital productis how I got started.
You.
Here's the thing Having yourown digital product is how I got
started.
Y'all, I literally sold a minicourse for $19.99.
And the reason it was sosuccessful and the reason people
bought it is because it wassolving a problem that they had.
It was solving a problem, andwhen you're solving a problem

(03:02):
and you are beefing up thisdigital product, it doesn't have
to be complicated.
Guys, you're probably alreadyteaching it.
That is going to help you buildmore security in your life,
because you're gonna haveanother stream of revenue.
It gives you.
Having your own digital offergives you control and security,
and you don't have to be someamazing and successful marketer
to do it.
You really don't.

(03:22):
To be some amazing andsuccessful marketer to do it.
You really don't.
Like, when I started, I had nota clue on how to market myself
or my product and, y'all, wemade six figures that first year
that we sold it.
Okay, so I'm not saying thatthis is what's going to happen.
You're going to make sixfigures in your first year, but
what I am saying is there'spotential there to do it.

(03:44):
And here's the beauty of whycreating a digital offer and
when I say offer it's product,you're creating a digital
product like a guide, a minicourse, a checklist, checklist.
It needs to be a little bitbeefier than just like one
checklist.
But listen, you don't have todeal with inventory, you don't
have to deal with hostingparties, you don't have to deal
with shipping, you don't really.
It's.
It's so much better than like aphysical product because it can

(04:06):
be sold over and over againwithout really any additional
effort.
This can all be automated.
It's also building a safety netfor you.
It's helping you build yourbrand.
It's giving you security incase your direct sales company
decides to change direction.
And listen, you already have abuilt-in audience.
They already trust you.

(04:27):
If they buy from you now, they're likely to buy something
else that helps them solve aproblem.
Now you might think Rach, Idon't have time to create
something new and start a wholenew business.
Sister, that is not what I'msuggesting.
Literally, all you need to dois create a digital product and
again, I will teach you how todo this and it doesn't need to

(04:49):
take a ton of time.
I need you to commit tocreating it.
But what if you could createsomething once and then sell it
over and over again?
That's exactly what creating adigital offer allows you to do
so.
I often hear when I talk to mystudents about this or even not
my students like even you guys, like if we're hanging out an
email because y'all know howmuch I love to chat back and

(05:09):
forth with you or on Instagram, but I often hear like, oh, but
Rach, I don't have, I don't havea big audience Like my social
media following is not very big.
Here's the beauty of this youdon't need thousands of
followers, you just need theright people and, like I said
before, you already have acustomer base.
Here's another thing I hear allthe time I am not techie, like

(05:34):
Rachel, I cannot like.
Even Canvas stresses me outLike I don't, I'm not techie and
I don't know how to build awebsite.
Girl, okay, you can create andsell a very simple offer, just
creating a PDF, a Google Doc, anaudio training, and I am gonna
show you exactly how to do that.
You don't even need a websiteto start, you don't?

(05:55):
I'm here to make it as simpleas possible for you.
Or maybe you're thinking thisbecause I often in fact, I had
one of my students emailed methe other day.
She's like Rachel, I just don'tknow what to sell.
Well, guess what?
You already help people solveproblems.
We're going to turn that intosomething that you can sell.
That is all yours.

(06:18):
Here's the awesome thing that Idon't think enough of you guys
realize you are already.
Awesome thing that I don'tthink enough of you guys realize
you are already.
Like you have developed so muchas a human, you have built
yourself up so much as you havebuilt your direct sales business
and you have so many skills tooffer.
I think you just don't realizewhat skills and what problems

(06:38):
you can solve.
And that's where I come in.
I'm going to help you.
So, as you're thinking aboutthis, like as we're waiting for
the challenge to start on March17th, I want you to start
thinking about what peoplealready ask you about, or what
problems do your customers havethat your product helps solve or

(06:58):
that you have learned you cansolve.
Like maybe it's not, like let'stake Pampered Chef, for example
.
Maybe you sell Pampered Chefand there are lots of tools that
can help people prepare theirmeals and prepare their dinner.
But maybe you have a recipebook that you could put together
for 30 minute meals that yourchildren will love.
There are products in therethat you may use to make these

(07:21):
recipes, but y'all that solves aproblem for a lot of people who
don't have a lot of time tocook healthy meals and whose
kids are so picky.
What do you have?
What can you create that youcould put into a digital product
.
Here's another example.
Maybe you sell skincare.
What if you put together like afive day skincare reset?

(07:43):
Like what can people do thatdoesn't really include your
product?
Like you could link yourproducts but because people are
paying for this digital offer,it needs to.
It won't necessarily link toall your products.
That's more of a lead magnettype thing, but what can people
do to reset their skin?
Or maybe there's a morningroutine that you have that gives

(08:04):
you more energy.
Maybe you can create somethinglike that.
Or maybe if you sell home decor, you could talk about how to
style your house like a pro andgive them a mini training.
There are so many things youcan do.
Here's a pro tip.
You ready.
Think about what you struggledwith before you found your
current business and what do youknow that could help someone

(08:28):
else now.
Something to think about Now.
I know that I've got a lot ofoverthinkers in my audience, and
you know how I know thatBecause I'm an overthinker and
whenever I talk to you guysabout it, everyone's like oh
same here, like overthinker,overthinker.
Here's the beauty of all ofthis.
A digital offer doesn't have tobe perfect, it just has to be

(08:50):
helpful.
And here's the other thing.
I'm here to help you do itright.
I'm here to help you build thisdigital offer.
You don't need to spend monthscreating something huge,
literally, I think.
Sometimes our overthinking well, I know this is what stops us
from moving forward in our lives.
That's why I'm doing thischallenge.
We're going to take quick, messy action.

(09:12):
If you could see some of thethings that I put out when I
first started my business, I wasembarrassed.
I'm embarrassed to look back onit now, but I did it and people
bought them.
People bought the things I putout there.
I've perfect Well, I don't knowif I would say perfected, but
I've improved so much now andwhat people are getting is so
much better.
Like going back to that $19 and99 product that Amanda and I

(09:33):
sold y'all.
Our first trainings were notbeautiful.
They were not amazing.
The content was good, but theyweren't real pretty.
They weren't super professional, but people still bought it.
Why?
Because it solved a problem.
Listen, sister, I'm here tohelp you.
We're going to do this together.
Okay, here's the thing you know.

(09:53):
I know that in this directsales world, things are a little
uncertain.
We're in a lull right now, haven't heard any crazy things
happening, but y'all you can'trely on your company.
It's great and it's awesome andit's a wonderful way to bring
in some more money, but if youare leaning into that to be the

(10:17):
business that retires you, to bethe business that you can quit
your nine to five, that's goingto give you financial freedom
and security, oh, I just don'tknow how wise that is.
I think it's great to lean intoit and build that business, but
I really want you to understandthat in the back of your mind,
that company isn't secure, necessarily right, like they

(10:37):
might be telling you, yes, we'redebt free, we're not going
anywhere, all the things.
But guess what?
Epicure said that they wereplanning their incentive trip
and suddenly they closed.
And again, I don't say this toscare you.
I just want you to understandthat it's so important for you
to have a backup plan, andthat's exactly what I'm going to
teach you.
How to do is to start buildingyour backup plan, and that

(10:59):
backup plan is literally justcreating a simple digital offer
that solves a problem that yourideal people, your audience,
need a solution to.
So if you're like I reallystill don't really know where to
start, rach, please come to thethree day challenge.
It's three days.
March 17th is when we start.
I'm going to guide you throughthis whole process.

(11:20):
I'm going to answer yourquestions, I'm going to help you
create it.
I'm going to give you atemplate.
Literally, you guys, this is, Ithink it's so important for you
to really try to be there andy'all, it's a dollar.
Do you know what I'm saying?
It is a dollar.
So, listen, I am looking forwardto seeing you that we start
next week.
Y'all, we start next week.

have anything to offer, like I'mjust a jewelry lady or whatever
Girl.

We're gonna figure out whatyour superpower is.
