Falcons wide out Calvin Ridley was suspended 1 year for gambling on NFL games. Can't piss off the NFL's partners in legalized betting. But try to kill a woman? That may get you 2 games off. God forbid you deflate footballs. That'll get you 4 games.

What punishment do you levy on a team owner who offers to pay his coach 6 figure bonuses to intentionally throw games? Yeah, right....

MLB owners may be losing badly in the court of public opinion, but they still plan to cancel more games if there is no CBA by Tuesday 3/8.

Owners will welcome a short season, as long as it doesn't affect the playoffs.

MLB and the MLBPA have agreed on significant rule changes in an effort "to streamline the process and add excitement to the game."  Well, OK then....

Baseball's slow pace of play is a problem. A bigger problem is getting umpires to uniformly and consistently enforce rules, specifically the pitch clock.
